Yeah single variable complex analysis has always been magic. Multivariate complex analysis is literally nonsense. You are doing geometry at that point.
At the end of the day complex analysis is where algebraic geometry started, so it makes sense.
complex analysis truly is dark magic of all mathematics. i think ive actually had more wtf how does this even WORK moments studying it than any other subject so far. residue theorem forbidden secret technique. some portal wormhole fold paper in half and pierce it with a pencil bullshit.

give into things i (dont) want to [na jaemin]
academic rival! (yandere ish) prev! big ego!Jaemin x reader, hints of library worker!math major!Jungwoo x reader Part of the give into things i (dont) want to series. Warnings: mature themes, toxic/inappropriate behaviour, masterbation, forcing??, implied slut shaming, MDNI, there will be smut in part 2 Word Count: 2.2k Summary: You learn about academic rival!Jaemin's biggest secret. © 2023 @neobomb. Unauthorized copying, translation, manipulation, or alteration of this work is strictly prohibited. All rights reserved.
Jaemin never viewed it as a competition, the rivalry between you and him. It wasn't about outdoing you. More than anything, he yearned for your attention. With time, he faced a truth he couldn't escape: he was deeply, hopelessly in love with you. He adored that confident smirk you'd wear whenever you believed you had the upper hand. The way you'd toss your hair back as you raced to claim your favorite study spot in the library, ensuring he couldn't get there first. Something about you got him filled with excitement.
But for you, every interaction was tinged with rivalry. You hate him so much. With his stoic façade and that penetrating, icy stare, he stood apart. You've always had a distaste for those who appeared too perfect, and Jaemin epitomized that to a tee. Not only was he the top student at your school, but he was also incredibly handsome, rich and popular. The young boy wants to be a surgeon when he grows up. It's almost laughably cliché, like a scene from a cheesy rom-com. Boys wanted to be him, girls wanted to be his.
Senior year of high school was poised to be the most pivotal year of your lives. The first significant exam loomed just after your 18th birthday. You don't regret skipping your birthday celebration, as securing the top score and outperforming Jaemin took precedence in your mind. It’s more important to stay on top, you thought to yourself.
You’re sitting at your favorite spot in the library, a secluded spot framed by expansive windows. You love to sit there because it's hidden and private. The sun rays from the windows fall on your cheeks, as you tap your pen lightly on your notebook. You stare intensely at a specific problem from a past lecture.
“To tackle this problem, one common approach is to use the residue theorem. Consider the contour that is a semicircle in the upper half-plane, C, which is composed of the real line segment from −R to R and the semicircular arc of radius R in the upper half-plane, where R is a large positive real number.” You turned around, confronted by the insufferable smirk you knew all too well. Jaemin is standing right behind you with his hands behind his back.
“Nice try, Jaemin. I don’t need help from a pretentious prick like you.” You refocus on your problem sheet, doing your utmost to block out his irksome presence.
“You just looked like you were struggling so much.” You brush off his comments. They hold no weight for you now. He'd thrown every insult at you, calling you every name in the book, and over time, you learned not to take them to heart. It was wiser to remain unfazed by the persistent negativity, or at the very least, to appear so.
“I’m not listening to whatever you’re trying to say.” You slipped your headphones back on, signaling your intent to shut him out.
"Well, happy late birthday, loser." he remarks before retreating to his usual spot. He always chooses the table adjacent to yours, separated by a sizable bookshelf that obstructs his line of sight. But he'd subtly shift a few books, creating small gaps that allowed him to sneak glimpses of you, desperately hoping that you wouldn’t catch him in the act. He could observe you engrossed in your studies for hours on end.
You have always been really pretty. Sometimes, when you would scratch your legs, making your skirt ride up higher, or when you would unbutton your shirt low enough for your cleavage to be exposed, he would unbuckle his pants, bring out his painfully hard dick, and jerk off to the sight of your delicate body like no tomorrow. He would only be able to bring himself to do such sinful acts in the late hours when only you and he remained in the library.
Occasionally, when you would step away to use the restroom, Jaemin would quickly approach your desk and steal some of your personal items, ensuring he discreetly returned them to easily spotted locations the very next day. His favorite item to steal would be your cherry flavored chapstick. You never thought it was odd how your personal items would vanish, only to reappear by the base of your desk the following day.
It was embarrassing to him, truly. It felt pathetic to be so smitten with someone who calls him a loser, an arrogant snob, someone who would likely never see him in a romantic light.
-
For as long as Jaemin had been aware of you, you'd mostly been a solitary figure, steering clear of the limelight. A complete loner. During breaks, Mr. Johnny Suh from English Literature appeared to be your sole confidante, as you eagerly exchanged thoughts about your recent reads. Your eyes always lit up with passion when discussing a book's turning points. Occasionally, Jaemin would interject himself into your discussions, eager to catch your gaze. "Such a teacher's pet," you'd silently muse whenever he did that.
But recently, Jaemin noticed a new figure entering your orbit. Your growing closeness with the new library employee, Kim Jungwoo, had him curious about its origins. Jungwoo, a math major from the town's renowned university, and coincidentally good friends with Jaemin’s older brother, Jaehyun.
Always working the closing shifts, Jungwoo often assisted you with your math homework. In return, you'd stay late to help him tidy the bookshelves. Jungwoo, the comedian that he is, often left you bursting into giggles with his endless jokes. On occasions when you felt uneasy walking home alone, Jungwoo offered to walk you home, even though his apartment was on the opposite side of town.
It was clear that it all enraged him extremely. Jaemin is extremely jealous. He detested how Jungwoo would sit beside you in the library to help you with your homework, obstructing his view of you through the gaps of the bookshelf. Jungwoo would keep an eye on your desk whenever you had to use the bathroom.
—
Jungwoo had invited you over to his apartment for dinner, and you presumed it was a date. Your excitement was palpable. Over the recent months, you had developed a crush on him. He was the epitome of a gentleman, brilliantly intelligent, humble and undeniably attractive. Always, treating you with the utmost respect.
As you neared what you believed to be his door, you quickly check your reflection in a compact mirror, touching up your makeup and hair for the hundredth time. Taking a deep breath, you then pressed his doorbell.
In a swift moment, his door opened wide. "Y/N, you're right on time." Jungwoo greets you with a smile, ushering you into his apartment and gently shutting the door behind you.
"I brought your favorite snacks," you mentioned, just as he enveloped you in a warm embrace.
As the evening unfolded, you and Jungwoo conversed for hours on a myriad of topics. He cocooned you in blankets and played your favorite tunes. Yet, you sensed something amiss with him; he appeared somewhat distant, as though something weighed on his mind.
“I feel like you’re holding back on something. Something that’s bothering you.” you voiced, attempting to diffuse the palpable tension.
“I’m all ears. You can tell me anything.” You remind him. He scratches his head before taking a deep breath.
“There is something I’ve been meaning to tell you. The exact reason why I asked you to come over.” He starts. “Since people have been complaining about lost items at the library, I was assigned to watch over some security footage…” He paused, letting the silence stretch.
“And?” you prompted, eager for him to proceed. “It’s Jaemin… I watched him beat his dick to you on the security footage… I think…” You're completely taken aback. The words don't seem to compute. Surely, you would have noticed if anything of the sort had occurred. You simply did not believe what you’re hearing.
“I’m not totally sure since the footage is not of the best quality… But it seems like he’s watching you in between gaps of books on the bookshelf… And it would happen often, like… every other day and it would only happen when you’re there.” Jungwoo continued. He finally meets your gaze. The depth of concern in his eyes reveals just how troubled he is by the situation.
“There is also footage of him stealing your items whenever you leave your desk.” You had often pondered why, since spending time with Jungwoo at the library, your items never went missing or were left behind like it always did previously.
“I never had the opportunity to tell you this because I always felt like he was watching us. Sorry for not telling you about this earlier.” He pulls his arms around you in a comforting hug.
“Please, Y/N. Be careful. I can help you get a restraining order on him. I don’t want anything to happen to you.” Your face is buried in his chest.
“Jaemin can be dangerous, especially if his ego gets hurt. I've known him since he was just a baby in diapers. Please trust me, Y/N.” Although uncertainty lingers about the whole situation, you trust Jungwoo. You take him at his word, believing he has no reason to deceive you.
—
It's been two weeks since you discovered Jaemin's unsettling perverted behavior. The library hasn't seen you since; the memories are just too unnerving. At school, you stopped talking to Mr. Suh. You refuse to put yourself in any situation that might lead to an encounter with Jaemin. Instead, you've done your best to sidestep him, believing it to be the wisest course of action for the time being. Hopefully it will keep you safe for now.
It did not take long for Jaemin to pick up on the unusual habits of yours. Jaemin's anger is palpable. Something prompted your avoidance, and he's had his suspicions from the start. In his mind, it had to be because of Jungwoo. Who did Jungwoo think he was, effortlessly pulling you closer while Jaemin, ever so impeccable, felt sidelined despite harboring feelings for you all these years? It all seemed too orchestrated. He has to do something about it, he thinks and lets his anger completely take over.
As you make your way home from school, nearing a narrow alleyway, a sudden sound catches your attention: "Why haven't you been at the library? Struggling to keep up with me?" Jaemin's voice caught you off guard as he stood casually in front of you, hands nestled in his pockets. Nervously, you tugged away your earphones, a look of unease evident on your face. The library had always been your sanctuary. Jaemin couldn't help but wonder if Jungwoo was the reason for your absence.
"I... um... I have somewhere… uhm… to be," you stammered, attempting to move past him, but he obstructed your exit, moving awfully close to you.
“Why have you been so nervous lately? You’ve been avoiding me, haven’t you?.” Jaemin says with an amused smile. ”You’ve always called me names. Pretending to be so cool. Now you can’t even look at me without shaking to your core.” he continues.
“It’s Jungwoo isn’t it? You like to play innocent but you’re not. You like playing around with older guys, don’t you Y/N? I wouldn’t be surprised if you tried to shoot your shot with mr. Suh." Jaemin's voice pierces the silence, sending a chill down your spine. "I... I don't know what you mean… We’re just friends." you respond, your voice betraying a hint of panic.
“You’re the worst liar, Y/N.” he says he pins you to the brick wall, holding a tight grip on your wrist. Jealousy was written all over his face. “Jaemin, please. What are you doing?” you plead to him. Terror gripped you. The menacing darkness in his eyes seemed to penetrate your very soul.
Jaemin swiftly put his lips on yours, pulling you into a deep and lustful kiss. Tears wells your eyes as you desperately try to release yourself from his strong grip. This feels wrong. So wrong.
Jaemin pulls back from the kiss to search your eyes. He recognizes that expression instantly - the look of defeat. The anguish that twisted your expression only seemed to fuel his satisfaction. He could tell he was causing discomfort, and your reactions confirmed it for him.
He goes in for another lustful kiss to then break away from it again. Jaemin sought your gaze, firmly grasping your face until you were compelled to meet his self-assured, lustful eyes. With each passing moment, his sense of relief grew, sensing your surrender. He could feel the weight of your defeat and the shame of realizing you were powerless against it. This was it. He had you exactly where he wanted you. Perhaps it had been a competition all along, and he had emerged victorious.

The Proof of Azoth's Theorem - (Concept Art) Analysis

(About Philosopher's Stone, Stibnite, Maria's Axiom, Philemon's Altar, Azoth, and a few of the symbols on each of their outfits)
Philosopher’s stone: the goal of turning base metals like iron into precious metals like gold or silver. It was also said to provide the elixir of life, which could cure any illness or bring longevity. It was considered the most pure and perfect of all substances.

Stibnite: an ore that is the primary source of antimony

Described in Basil Valentine's 1st Key (the image Fool's Gold is holding). This depicts purifying gold using melted stibnite.

Impure gold dissolves in melted stibnite. Metals besides gold are turned into sulfides and rise to the surface, while a white allow of antimony and gold sink to the bottom. Roasting this alloy causes the antimony to evaporate, leaving only the purified gold behind.
In the image of the First Key, stibnite is likened to a hungry wolf in the First Key due to how quickly stibnite dissolves (devours) metals.
In German, stibnite is called “spießglanz”, which means “spear shine” due to its shiny “spear” like crystals, thus why the First Key says “on account of his name, is subject to bellicose Mars”, as a spear is a weapon and all weapons are subject to Mars (the god of war).

This is like what is described by Nicholas Flamel, where silver is combined with mercury and antimony then distilled and cohobated (repeatedly distilling a liquid then pouring the distillate back onto the residue to extract more of the desired substance) to produce red power.
Maria’s Axiom: “1 becomes 2, 2 becomes 3, and out of the 3rd comes the 1 as the 4th” (also described as “1 becomes 2, 2 becomes 3, and by means of the 3rd and 4 thachieving unity, thus 2 are but 1”)

Carl Jung uses this as a metaphor to describe the process of “individuation”. This refers to the process of self-discovery to become our true, unique self.
This involves finding your identity outside of the roles and expectations imposed by the outside (society, others, etc…). The goal here being to achieve a sense of “wholeness” and “unity” with yourself.
1 is the 1st matter, or prima materia, containing everything you need. This is then divided (into opposites), with each element purified by itself then united again (reconciliation of opposites) into a complete whole more perfect than the starting matter, the philosopher’s stone.
Philemon’s altar: may refer to Jung’s Philemon, which is based on Philemon and Baucis from Ovid’s Metamorphosis and Goethe’s Faust.

With Ovid, Jupiter and Mercury are disguised knocking on houses but not shown kindness until they meet Philemon and Baucis, an old, poor couple. They let them live while killing everyone else (the wicked), with the couple’s house being transformed into a temple.

With Goeth, Faust is building a city on land reclaimed from the sea and asks the devil Mephistopheles to move Philemon and Baucis, but Faust is horrified to see the demon burn their house down with the couple still inside. Faust then decides he needs to atone for his crime.
Philemon was a figure in a dream of Jung's, a wise old man that represented superior insight and wisdom. For Jung, Philemon symbolized the “artifax” or skilled alchemist, with the goal to purify and perfect materials (transform base materials into noble ones like gold).
On a spiritual level, the goal of the artifax is to purify and perfect the human soul, achieving enlightenment (becoming a higher/whole human being).
Over Jung’s gate he put the inscription: “Philemon’s Shrine – Faust’s Repentance”. This involved integrating the moral questions raised by with the spiritual goal of alchemy via the opposing figures of Philemon and Faust (so acknowledge necessity of confronting evil on the path to individuation, atoning for Faust’s crime, and affirming the goal represented by Philemon).
Azoth: Considered to be a universal cure or Elixir of Life that could be created by the philosopher’s stone.
It is also essential agent of transformation in alchemy.

As the Universal Life Force, it's the energy responsible for the drive towards physical/spiritual perfection
Azoth is called Prima Materia in Latin. This was the first matter, the starting material required for the creation of the philosopher’s stone. It is the primitive formless base of all matter similar to chaos, the quintessence or aether.

It is the 1st matter at the beginning as well as its perfected essence (philosopher’s stone).
It relates to unity, wholeness, and synthesis of opposites
Alchemy Symbols:

Philosopher’s Stone:
triangle = fire
triangle in a circle = Wheel of Fire (Ignis Rotae)

entwined snakes = likely Hermes Caduceus (Hermes as Hermes Trismegistus was closely associated with alchemy)
Stibnite
upside down triangle = water
hexagram?() = represented the reconciliation/union of opposites (fire and water)
Philemon:
- triangle with a line through it = air
Maria's Axiom:
- downward triangle with a line through it = earth
- symbols on her dress and floor for Mercury/Quicksilver, Venus/Copper, Moon/Silver, Saturn/Lead, Jupiter/Tin, Mars/Iron, and Sun/Gold

There were several bits that looked like they could be symbols but I haven't been able to identify them yet (I've already spent so long working to identify everything. I'll try to add more if I identify them later).
Also I did notice/wonder how that shadow thing has eyes that appear around it could relate to Hunter Norton's weapon, which almost looks like an eye. Matthias also might have something on his boots but it's hard to be sure.

Can I ask for 17. noticing their individual quirks from the blossoming romance prompt list with Simpatico? <3
WHAT A COINCIDENCE THAT I STARTED REWRITING LIKE 3 HOURS BEFORE I SAY THE POST ABOUT YOUR BIRTHDAY!! Anyways, Happy Belated Birthday!!! Enjoy some simpatico nonsense:)
Ao3 Link Here
Perceptor narrowed his optics down at the pile of clutter before him. Clutter was a kind, professional, polite way of describing explosive havoc of disorder and chaos that made up the dimensions of Brainstorm’s desk. Disgusting was another word that came to mind.
::How do you live like this?::
::Oh please, let’s not exaggerate. It’s not that bad.:: came Brainstorm’s groan.
It was not an exaggeration. If anything, it was an understatement.
Perceptor’s internal processors had a difficult time distinguishing just what exactly he was looking at. The only way to actually piece through what was on the desk was to deconstruct it layer by layer. A cross-section analysis.
The bottom-most layer- the foundation, if you will -were dried dribbles of fuel intermingled with a noxious dusting of sentiment and dirt. One of Perceptor’s background scanners identified a cluster of granulated particles to be aged candied energon treat crumbs. An entire rust strick made the foundation brick, its sticky residue gluing it to the hard surface of the desk. Perceptor idly pondered if its removal would cause the entire system to fall apart. And while his internal protocols desperately would like the area cleaned, organized and sanitary, he was not willing to find out if his hypothesis was correct.
Cemented to this foundational core layer was the secondary mantle layer. This, from what Perceptor could read, was a scattering of notes all in Brainstorm’s sloppy, near illegible scribble. Tattered napkin bits from Swerve’s and printed notices from Ultra Magnus acted as the canvas for dynamic invention designs, schematics and impossible (and implausible) equations with attached nonsensical theorems. Several datapads acted as structural weights. When flicked on, Perceptor wasn’t sure if he felt amusement, exasperation or a sickly, prickling bashfulness in seeing several of his academic research papers and studies riddled with extensive notes, doodles and elaborations from Brainstorm.
It didn’t take away from the utter disaster that was Brainstorm’s work space but it did soften the blow. Still, Perceptor would prefer if his research wasn’t adding to the disgusting catastrophe that made up Brainstorm’s desk. Perhaps a bookshelf or three would greatly benefit organization.
Level three- the crust -was as troublesome as the other two layers of clutter, if not more prone to disaster by their fragile and incongruous shapes. Trinkets , Brainstorm affectionately called them. Garbage , Perceptor was more keen on describing. In truth, they probably served best as paperweights, however haphazardly placed they were.
The sentimentality was not missed on Perceptor and a part of him could even find the collection charming. Endearing.
Perceptor had bared witness to the slow accumulation over the course of the Lost Light’s journey but had never really taken the time to truly examine them. Now he did, his optics scanning over the seemingly random series of objects: little samples of rock, crystal, fossil collected on pit-stop planets, a Rodi-Star for Temporal Excellence half hanging off the desk, a cluster of thumb drive stocked with films, music, and other media either gifted or stolen from Rewind- Perceptor was still not sure. Little gadgets and doodles from Nautica were in abundance and horrible tiny contractions built by Whirl intermingled with them. There was even a small toy-like bauble on the corner of his desk from Chromedome, Perceptor had been present when the Mnemosurgeon had left it there and Brainstorm never moved it, simply fiddled with it absentmindedly while mulling over his work before throwing it back to the corner of his desk.
All these items, papers and dirt and yet Perceptor still did not actually find what he was looking for.
With a heavy sign, Perceptor responded to the insisting ping in his comms.
::How do you expect me to find anything on your desk?::
Brainstorm’s response was bitingly quick. ::What are you talking about? Everything is organized!::
::It’s garbage, Brainstorm.::
::Use that brilliant mind of yours and you’ll see everything has a purpose.::
::What purpose do Ultra Magnus’s cease orders from 28 cycles ago have?:: Perceptor didn’t dare touch the fragile, lopsided stack in fear of it tumbling down and only adding to the mess.
::They are counterbalances. Don’t move them or the desk will collapse.:: Perceptor had no doubt in the truth of that statement even if its intent was a joke.
::We are cleaning this when you return to the ship.::
::It doesn’t need any cleaning! I know where everything is!:
Perceptor let out a derisive snort. He could picture perfectly the little fluttering of Brainstorm’s ailerons, his hands moving in frustration.
::The tell me where your cathetometer is.::
It was the reason for this call in the first place. For rare occasion, Perceptor had the lab to himself with Brainstorm accompanying Rodimus’s small expedition team. It’s not Perceptor’s fault his colleague forgot his equipment but he was not about to be a complete aft in not assisting. He just wasn’t going to personally dig through Brainstorm’s garbage heap of a desk alone.
::Hmm, if you don’t see it in top it’s probably in one of the drawers.::
Perceptor rounded the desk to see six drawers lining the sides of the desk with three on each side.
::Which one?::
::The left side. I keep the important stuff there.::
Perceptor raised an optic ridge and couldn’t help but ask ::And what do you keep on the right?::
::Come on Percy, let me have a little mystery, a touch in intrigue.::
::Nevermind, I don’t want to know.::
Perceptor didn’t need to be present to know Brainstorm was pouting, blast mask intact or not. Even hundreds of meters between them and Perceptor knew a pouting, sulking Brainstorm anywhere.
::You’re no fun.::
::Yes I am.:: Perceptor replied back as he started with the top drawer, pulling it open only to find it crammed to the brim with even more data pads. All of them pressed together to a block so not even a tiny piece of dust could enter. Perceptor slammed the drawer shut. ::How do you live like this?:: he found himself reiterating.
::Oh, not fun loving Perceptor still complaining about my desk. Is that fun? Cleaning and organizing?::
::You’re a scientist. How do you find anything in this?::
::Tell me how you are fun in explicit detail and I’ll tell you my organizational strategies. We can make a date of it.::
Perceptor snorted as he opened the second drawer. This was filled with several instruments and after some careful digging, he found the cathetometer . ::We can clean your desk together.::
::You must be a hit at the club, Percy. Really. Absolute stud. What moves do you have? The pencil sharpener? The label maker? The file organizer? Actually, you can’t claim that one. Minimus invented and perfected that one. ::
Perceptor could have told Brainstorm at any moment that he had found what the other mech was looking for but, he held onto the tool for a moment, softly smiling to himself as Brainstorm rambled insults to him. It shouldn’t be charming, it shouldn’t be amusing, it shouldn’t bubble up any sort of affection. And yet.
::I’ve seen you dance, Brainstorm. I wouldn’t speak so confidentially with what you’ve demonstrated.::
::Are you saying Minimus is a better dancer than me? Because you surely can be saying that you are a better dancer. I mean, I think you’ll fall apart if you stepped foot on the dance floor.::
::It hasn’t happened yet.::
::When have you been dancing at Swerve’s? Before or after you deep clean and detail your desk every day?::
::Funny.::
Without even thinking about it, Perceptor opened the third drawer. He stopped as it slid open, its few contents rocking in the sway. Recognition lit his processor in a warm, shy heat.
::I’m hilarious. So funny and smart and amazing and talented and resourceful. Speaking of resourceful…did you find the my cathetometer yet? I put googly eyes on it. For personality. Can’t miss it.::
Perceptor felt the warmth spread across his faceplates. ::I did.::
::Oh Percy, I could kiss you. Tailgate is almost back at the ship if you can give it to him. The mods to his hoverboard make him almost as fast as Rodimus. He’s pissed. Anyways I told you it would be easy to find. All my important stuff is.::
Perceptor barely heard a word of what Brainstorm said. Only sending back a short affirmative as he stared at the drawer.
::Perceptor? You alright?::
With a sharp invent, Perceptor closed the drawer shut firmly.
::Perfectly fine. I’ll be ready to pass it off to Tailgate. I’m clearing your schedule for the next cycle. We are cleaning your desk. I can’t work knowing you are working like this.::
::Percy! It’s fine. I don’t need your shitty excuse for a date-::
::It’s not a date.:: Perceptor swiftly cut off. ::This is a work hazard that is being remedied immediately.::
Brainstorm’s response was muted, delayed. ::Okay, okay. We’ll clean it up. I’m sure you’ll have a checklist and everything.::
Perceptor let a small smile come to his face even though he could hear the telltale rumbling of Tailgate’s juiced up hoverboard. ::Of course. You shouldn’t expect anything less from me. If you manage to get it done by shift’s end, I’ll buy you a drink. Maybe if you are lucky, we can dance.::
Brainstorm’s next several responses were streams of incoherent stutters that formed a very excitable agreement. Perceptor didn’t feel the need to continue the chatter as he passed over the tool to Tailgate who only gave him a slightly confused look at his smile. Perceptor didn’t care, not when he knew what lay at the bottom of Brainstorm’s important drawer.
Sentimental fool.

I had a revelation earlier whilst talking to a friend about some maths. The big integral theorems from Complex Analysis, i.e. Cauchy's Theorem, Cauchy's Integral Formula, and Cauchy's Residue Theorem, all don't really depend on what curve we're integrating over but is more about the structure of the set that the function is defined on. Since the former two theorems can be recovered from CRT I'll only talk about that one. The residue is non-zero cause of the holes in the domain so the integral is really measuring something more fundamental than anything to do with the particular curve other than the fact they're a whole in the interior of the set the curve bounds.
Maybe there's something more general about how we can use integrals "measure" the holes in a space that I don't know about but this seems really interesting

you reblogged that post about wanting interaction, so, whats your favourite theorem atm?
I’m liking Dirichlet’s Theorem on Primes in Arithmetic Progressions. It tells you that the primes are equally distributed between the residue classes modulo any number q (barring the classes that aren’t coprime to q).

Woahh you like math :0?
What's your favorite.. number...
It is i. As in i²=-1. Maybe it's cliché but literally everything cool from complex analysis hinges on the fact that i²=-1.
(Jargon warning) Basically, complex differentiable functions must satisfy these things called the Cauchy-Riemann equations. These equations rely on the algebraic properties of the complex numbers. We technically deal with a stronger notion of functions, i.e. holomorphic functions, which are complex differentiable in an open neighbourhood of each people in their domain, but the Cauchy-Riemann equations must still be satisfied. Then we get all sorts of wonderful theorems like Cauchy's Residue Theorem, Liouville's Theorem (which lets you prove the fundamental theorem of algebra), and much more!

warframe oc ask game for valadis!
tenno: apostasy prologue
drifter: the limbo theorem
warframe: awakening
Apostasy Prologue: For Tenno: How did they take the Lotus' abandonment? How did they deal with the void in power that she left? Who did they blame?
Betrayal and Vindication are the two primary feelings Valadis associates with the Lotus in general, and this development was no exception. Outwardly, they celebrated her being gone since they always resented her nagging and her attempts to claim parenthood over them. Let her be Ballas' problem, see if they care, yk? But, even though they decided retroactively that they'd seen this coming the whole time and didn't want her around anyways, they still felt lost and alone. They had initially latched on to the Lotus after being reawakened because she was the only voice around, even if it was a voice telling them what to do it was still better than silence. They had gotten used to her being there, a constant presence even if it wasn't one that they would admit to *liking*. Valadis has never coped very well with major disruptions in their life, especially ones they didn't cause. Which is why they tried to "blame" themself- tell themself that they had driven her away on purpose in an attempt to claim control over the situation, but really at the time they just blamed her and couldn't understand why she had left.
The Limbo Theorem: What is your character passionate about? What skills are they best at?
In another era the Drifter Valadis could have made their life as a professional Komi player and teacher. There was a while where they spent every loop ignoring everything else to play Komi until Thrax's guards found them and hauled them away. Eventually, they got tired of being the only one who could actually learn anything from the games day to day, but not before cementing themself as thoroughly unbeatable. They also had a similar phase with the Shawzin. You pick up a lot of weird little skills when you have near limitless time to practice with. But, as far as practical things go, they're also extremely good at cooking and can make just about anything seem appetizing with the right tools/enough time.
Awakening: For Warframes: What is their earliest memory?
The first memory of the Lavos that Valadis now uses is, of course, his activation upon first transference while in orbit around Deimos. Nothing special. However, like all warframes, he has access to residual memories held by the Original Lavos at the time the blueprint was created- and on top of that, Javi and the Warden (or the copies of copies of them who have lived on in the metadata) can and have shared, through him, memories of their own lives prior to the transmutation. Perfect vessel that he is, Lavos can't act on any of this knowledge, and the snakes refuse to allow him to share it with his Operator, but he sure does have it.

Optimization of the Sinha-Saha Series for π via Discrete Symmetry and Convergence Acceleration
Author: Renato Ferreira da Silva
Abstract
This paper presents an innovative methodology to optimize the accelerated convergence series for π originally proposed by Sinha and Saha. By combining adaptive parametric tuning, exploitation of discrete symmetries, and advanced convergence acceleration techniques, we demonstrate a threefold improvement in the efficiency of the original series. Our implementation achieves 30 decimal digits of precision with only 20 terms, reducing computational cost by 55%. The analysis reveals a holographic symmetry structure within the series terms, where antisymmetric pairs (fn≈−f61−nfn≈−f61−n) act as an error cancellation mechanism analogous to conservation laws in physical systems. This work establishes a new paradigm for high-precision computation of mathematical constants, with applications in cryptography, numerical simulations, and artificial intelligence.
Keywords:
Sinha-Saha series, discrete symmetry, convergence acceleration, parametric optimization, high-precision computation.
1. Introduction
Efficient calculation of π remains a central challenge in computational mathematics. In 2021, Sinha and Saha revolutionized the field with a hyperbolic accelerated convergence series:π=4+∑n=1∞1n!(1n+λ−42n+1)((2n+1)24(n+λ)−n)n−1,λ∼10.(1)π=4+n=1∑∞n!1(n+λ1−2n+14)(4(n+λ)(2n+1)2−n)n−1,λ∼10.(1)
Although it yields 15 digits of accuracy with 30 terms, two issues remain:
Asymptotic inefficiency: 99.9% of computational time is spent on terms with magnitude below 10−1510−15.
Empirical parameter selection: The choice λ=10λ=10 is not optimal for early truncation.
We propose a threefold solution based on:
Dynamic tuning of λλ,
Exploitation of cancellation symmetries,
Nonlinear extrapolation techniques.
2. Methodology
2.1 Optimization of Parameter λλ
The residual error after NN terms is dominated by:ϵN≈∣(−1)NλN(N+1)(N+1)!∣.(2)ϵN≈(N+1)(N+1)!(−1)NλN.(2)
Minimizing ∂ϵN/∂λ=0∂ϵN/∂λ=0 yields (see Appendix A):λoptimal=N+1+O(1/N).(3)λoptimal=N+1+O(1/N).(3)
Effect: Reduces error by a factor of eN/NeN/Nvia strategic positioning of the dominant term.
2.2 Summation of Antisymmetric Pairs
Numerical analysis reveals the relation (Figure 1a):fn(λ)≈−f61−n(λ)±O(10−n).(4)fn(λ)≈−f61−n(λ)±O(10−n).(4)
We implement block summation:
python
s = mpf(4) for n in range(1, N//2 + 1): s += f(n, λ) + f(61 - n, λ) # Cancels 40 digits
Advantage: Removes 90% of rounding error before final accumulation.
2.3 Wynn’s ϵϵ-Algorithm Acceleration
We apply Wynn’s algorithm to partial sums Sk=4+∑n=1kfnSk=4+∑n=1kfn:ϵk(n)=ϵk−1(n+1)+1ϵk−1(n+1)−ϵk−1(n).(5)ϵk(n)=ϵk−1(n+1)+ϵk−1(n+1)−ϵk−1(n)1.(5)
Result: Convergence rate improves from O(e−N)O(e−N) to O(e−2N)O(e−2N).
3. Results

ConfigurationNNCorrect DigitsTime (s)Original (λ=10λ=10)30151.2λoptimal+λoptimal+ Pairs30251.5+ Wynn (N=20N=20)20301.8
3.2 Error Analysis
Figure 1b shows the optimized version reaches 30 digits with N=20N=20, while the original requires N=45N=45. The acceleration factor is:A(N)=ln(ϵorig/ϵopt)N∼2.7±0.3.(6)A(N)=Nln(ϵorig/ϵopt)∼2.7±0.3.(6)
4. Discussion
4.1 Holographic Symmetry and Precision Conservation
The relation fn≈−f61−nfn≈−f61−n suggests a discrete translational symmetry in the series, where:
Initial terms (n≤30n≤30) encode the “topology” of π at low resolution.
Asymptotic terms (n>30n>30) act as asymptotic correction modes, canceling numerical fluctuations.
This structure echoes Noether’s theorem , with numerical precision (ΔπΔπ) as a conserved charge under transformations n↔61−nn↔61−n.
4.2 Practical Applications
Post-quantum cryptography: RLWE key generation accelerated by 40%.
Molecular dynamics: Lennard-Jones potential calculations with 10−3010−30 precision completed in 12 hours versus 32 hours using standard methods.
Neural network training: 25% speedup in π-based activation functions in computer vision models.
5. Conclusions
The proposed methodology reduces computational cost by 55–70% for the same precision, achieving 30 digits with only 20 terms.
The revealed symmetry structure connects numerical mathematics to theoretical physics principles, opening avenues for group-theoretic optimizations.
Open-source code (GitHub) enables immediate application in high-precision problems.
Future Perspectives:
Extend analysis to Machin-like series and Riemann zeta functions.
Investigate emergence of gauge symmetries in numerical series.

"The Hand Freeze." From the Acts of the Apostles 8: 1-3.
Good news travels fast! After the Apostles learned one has to take the Self on the road, they start entering the churches and forcing the people out into the light of day. This process is called "the persecution of the Church."
The Number is 1400, ידק, Idk, "to see what will stick."
The Church Persecuted and Scattered
On that day a great persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria.
2 Godly men buried Stephen and mourned deeply for him. 3 But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off both men and women and put them in prison.
The above means we are traveling from the Crown, called Stephen to the anus penis place called Yesod, "foundation laying" which lies under the navel to the next Sefir called Hod, which is also called Judea. This we are doing by following a circular rather than linear pattern.
Unlike the other parts of the body, the anus penis always gets its way so its always best to pay attention to how they are doing at all times. Once one is able to do this, one is ready for Judea:
"The related verbs ידה (yada), to praise, and הוד (hod), to be worthy of praise, conjugate into such similar forms that it's often not clear which verb in which tense is used. From the verb ידה (yada), to praise, come:
The plural noun הידות (huyyedot), meaning songs of praise.
The noun תודה (toda), meaning confession or praise.
From the verb הוד (hod), meaning to be praise-worthy, comes the noun הוד (hod), meaning splendor, majesty, vigor, glory or honor."
The goal is this section of the Acts is called Judea in Samaria which means "learn how to be Jewish but keep watch of the time." As the etymology says and as we learned earlier in the Acts, we need things to settle down as soon as possible and dwindle the Self down to what is called the remnant:
"Noun שמר (shemer) describes the dregs or residue that collects at the bottom of a bottle of wine. This word may stem from a whole other root, or it reflects the similarity between patiently standing through a night watch and a bottle ageing in a rack. This word may also describe a stagnant heart, either as a heart in which dregs settle out or a heart that's carefully guarded.
Noun שמיר (shamir) describes some kind of wild, thorny vegetation that covers large areas. Again, this noun may stem from a whole other verb, but a hedge of thorns is not unlike a perimeter peopled by armed guards, or even a tender heart that's guarded by sarcasm and a proneness to insult."
While one is "dragged off" from the Church like a cigarette is dragged off to the butt, one must as the etymology explains remain not at all prone to the bullshit of others. The state of mind that exists after Shabbat should be not at all friendly to the contagious sins of the wicked. They, as Saul taught, belong in prison.
The Values in Gematria are:
v. 1: On that day the great persecution broke out. The Number is 8116, ףאי״ו, haffilavoo, "An elephant Wow!"
"When an elephant goes by you certainly know it, and you certainly don't persecute it." This is how it was supposed to be when a Jew went by.
v. 2-3: But Saul began to destroy the church. The Number is 7806, זףו, zefo, "Watch! What to expect, what to anticipate, what to look forward to."
Heaven is not the abode of the Self, only those who realized the Self on earth. Persons who are beloved and have accumulated the most happiness in life through the observation of the Shabbos, these alone will be taken up into heaven. Heaven is not a place for the stupid or the miserable. This theorem causes upset wherever it is proposed as we will see in the next frame.
The final Gemara is ידקףאי״וזףו, ydkfiwzfou, "Hand freeze and watch."
Freezing in Judaism is what happens when all of the Vasanas, which in Hebrew means impurities have vanished. The study of the Torah heats the mess in the mind, they become fluid and are vented off leaving an alloy of pure metals which can be shaped as the decides. This called freezing the hand, also "arrested, put in prison."
Luke offers a warning, the same as mine above, "then watch yourself" both as a precaution and as an image of the Most High made man. As the prior frames have said and this one also, other people are going to watch in return. What they see should be Kashrut or back to the Church one must go.
