Happy New Year! I hope 2022 is kinder to everyone. . I have been told do something towards your goal for 2022 on the first day, so today, I have tidied the ranch, I have polkadot on the tree, I will be working her in the round pen later, and I will be grooming Red and Odie to look beautiful. Polkadot will also get a grooming in, although I more desperately want to give her a good bath. . I will be entering 2022 with a positive mindset, for all I see is a bright future. I hope to go to more shows with Polkadot, not because I want ribbons, but because I want her to be seen and for us to get the experience. I hope for good health for myself, my critters, and my family, both blood and found. . . . I don't often dress up and feel cute, but I did yesterday. I felt cute, polkadot looked extra stunning, so I hopped on her with her halter on originally, walked her over to the sun and took her halter off. I only do pictures like this on her, mostly because I know she's not gonna take off on me. She hates people falling off her, so much so if I come unbalanced or adjust while she's walking, she will stop. . She's such an incredible mare. Polkadot's Leather Halter came in today! I absolutely love the way this looks on her. The teal accent and the black leather is just amazing. This was the last Xmas gift I was waiting on, this is from my grandparents. @marystackshop special ordered this @perrisleather halter in because they didn't have the black and teal in Cob size at the time. I'm so so glad I went with the black. This is my going to events or videoing/photo halter, I wanted a nice, well fitting halter for those things. Might get a name plate for it in the future, we'll see. . . .
