maybe if his mind was not so particularly preoccupied with the faint scratch of stubble underneath his fingertips and the specks of what appeared to be gold in the brown of his eyes, he would have had time to think. or overthink how easily the rush and impatience in their previous touches mellowed into tenderness that was usually reserved for select few. maybe it still was, but the name of noah now scribbled as a new addition to that list.   “ guess we’ll have to find out next time, sweetheart, ”   he murmured under his breath, the nickname slipping from the tip of his tongue without further thought as the other began to brush his fingers back through his dark locks. his mouth certainly moved faster than his head did now, all courtesy of the man in his arms who muddled his head more and more. but there was no doubt there would be a next time, as with every night that passed with noah tangled into his bed sheets things seemingly got better.   “ what i was thinking about? ”   he repeated the question back to him, words laced with a breathy laugh as his hand moved to cup his cheek properly. he sucked in a breath as he wallowed in the silence between them for a moment, before smile began to pull at the corners of his mouth.   “ this, for one. thinking about every single thing i wanted to do to you when i saw you again, ”   he began, his thumb moving to brush across his cheekbone absentmindedly,  “ and your lips. ”   admittedly those wandered through his thoughts more often than not but there was something new about them this time around.   “ you’ve never kissed me before as you were leaving. ”   perhaps he expected to mind the definite cross of some arbitrarily established line of what constituted casual and what didn’t but there was no indication of that. not in the tone of his voice, not in the way his heart had began beating a little faster, not in the way he needed a moment to collect himself after shutting the door.   “ what’s been on your mind? ”

MCtober 2024: Week 2, Best friend
Tumblr media
Between all of her friends, Katlin got closer the most with Sebastian and she thrusted him as her best friend, despite the facts happening during the fifth year. They share the same passion for knowledge, exploration and duels, but don't quite agree on where is the line to not cross or when one's going too far. She find his company both comforting and stimulating, laughing and feeling the best version of herself when he's around. Though she can't deny to be the one to worry and look out for him (and in her mind, it feels as if she is keeping a dog at its leash 😅).
(Definitive version of this sketch)

Ratan Tata Sir was not just an industrialist; he was the epitome of what it means to be a true leader—one who put ethics, humanity, and compassion above all else. His leadership transformed the Tata Group into a global powerhouse, yet his humility and dedication to improving society never wavered.
He once said, "Ups and downs in life are very important to keep us going, because a straight line even in an ECG means we are not alive." This resilience and optimism defined his approach to both business and life, always staying grounded despite his towering achievements.
What set him apart was his unwavering commitment to philanthropy. Whether in education, healthcare, or rural development, his contributions were vast, but he never sought recognition for them. His generosity extended beyond humans, as he was a staunch advocate for animal welfare, showing compassion for stray dogs and championing initiatives for their well-being.
He believed, "I don’t believe in taking the right decisions, I take decisions and then make them right." These words capture his courage, humility, and relentless pursuit of excellence. Ratan Tata Sir taught us that true success is not measured by wealth, but by how you uplift others.
His legacy of kindness, integrity, and vision will continue to inspire millions. Rest in peace, Sir. The world is a better, kinder place because of you.

Sir Terence David John Pratchett, known to all of us as Sir Terry Pratchett. Was an english author, humorist, satirist and novelist. Best known for his work such as good omens, Discworld, night watch and many more. Sir Terry Pratchett was the UK's best- selling author of the 90s.
The good omens series was Sir Terry Pratchett's dying wish to Neil gaiman, he wrote Neil a letter, in the letter he told Neil to make the tv adaptation of good omens. Unfortunately he passed away before he ever got a chance to see it. He will always be part of the good omens series, his hat and scarf is in the show, and so is his spirit.
"If you trust in yourself... and believe in your dreams... and follow your star... you’ll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren’t so lazy"
@neil-gaiman

Random childe brainrot: Form stuck foul legacy.
(Im ignoring canon lore here of him rarely transforming into FL and how FL takes away from his strength, just imagine he sometimes randomly transforms) He wakes up one day realizing he somehow transformed into FL in his sleep, and he has a lot of chores o do today so he tries to de-transform.
..he’s stuck as moth.
and when he is stuck as moth: he is either extremely battle hungry, or incredibly affection starved and clingy.
*cracks my knuckles* this right here is my bread and butter, i am eating this up!!!
when he first wakes up, he's overcome with a need to fight- he needs to kill something, have blood on his claws, as it's what the Abyss wants and craves- until you walk into the room, and his demeanor softens. he becomes less battle hungry and more curious, lowering himself to the bed in order to seem smaller and letting out a quiet chirp. his heart feels odd- for once it's not restless, instead humming peacefully, smooth and steady as ripples on a shoreline, and when he slowly approaches you this serenity only increases. when you pet his head, there's a peculiar buzzing from his throat, and Childe realizes that his Foul Legacy form is purring
it becomes clear that you are the reason for his newfound peace- his love for you seems to override his Abyssal instinct to kill and maim and corrupt, instead leaving a gentle and sweet mothish creature that prefers to spend most of his time curled around you. he becomes agitated if you're gone for too long, scratching his claws on the floor and hissing in distress, and is far more wary around people who aren't you, like Zhongli who popped in for a visit. for some reason, being stuck in Foul Legacy also makes Childe about 20 times more touch starved, constantly wanting to have contact with you in some way and whining if he doesn't. it's a little awkward at first given his size, but eventually you settle on letting him wrap his claws around one of your wrists so he can tug your hand up to his face if he wants to <3
also he gives the best hugs ever in this form, take advantage of that
