!!!!! it's such a perfect opportunity to represent the glitchy prototype traits. he has simple motor tics and they match his "glitches" in canon; eye twitches, rapid blinking, and one corner of his mouth stretching into that lil crooked smile he does :]

it's a given he'd do them when he's stressed or anxious, but i really wanna include them during average, calm situations too. casually in the background or while talking with hank. it's just . Something Connor Does and nobody gaf.

Max slapped Daniel's ass as he walked by him in the narrow hallway and smirked at the blush and lip bite he was rewarded with.

Daniel walked into the bright afternoon of the paddock while Max took the stairs to the media room that he would be having his press conference in. 

The questions were annoying and repetitive and he found his mind wandering back to his younger teammate and sometimes stress reliever. They hadn’t fucked, Max didn’t particularly see the need when Daniel was crawling on his knees or grinding in Max’s lap when he was having a particularly annoying day. Why would he take the time to do all that work when he was already getting off satisfactorily. 

Daniel was needy for him and allowed Max to do what he wanted with him, he didn’t need to interrupt that understanding that they had. He saw the looks Daniel threw his way, the boy was terrible at hiding what he was feeling. And the blushing didn’t help. But Daniel wasn’t clingy at least, he knew where he stood and that was all perfect in Max’s world.

He smiled and left the media room, happy to get the fuck out of there and onto the rest of his business for the day. The paddock was bustling, it was just Thursday, so it was nowhere near as chaotic as he knew the rest of the weekend would be. 

Bypassing a few mechanics and pundits, he found Daniel speaking animatedly with Lewis and Fernando. Max scowled behind his redbull can at the familiar look in Alonso’s eyes. Daniel giggled at something and Fernando rested his hand on the back of Daniel’s neck in response. Daniel bit his lip but didn’t stop the possessive hold. 

Max walked over there, slotting himself between the two and ignoring the questioning look Lewis gave him.

He knew what they were doing and he wasn’t having any of it. 

“Max, hey! Finished up already?” Daniel turned his full, happy attention to Max who barely stopped the victorious smirk from slipping onto his lips. Lewis and Fernando had a silent conversation in his periphery. 

“Yeah, I was about to head to lunch– you coming?” Max licked the back of his teeth when Daniel stuttered sadly about his previously planned lunch with Helmut that Max already knew about. Daniel seemed contrite to not be able to spend the time that Max wanted to with him and the smirk that Max fought previously, finally settled. “It is of course, alright Daniel. Come see me after maybe?” 

Daniel’s head bobbed aggressively as he nodded, a blush settling on his cheeks again. The silver of his braces caught the sun as he spoke. “Y-yeah, sure. I’ll come find you.” He backed away slowly, saying his goodbyes to Lewis and Fernando before he legged it off to the energy station.

Max watched him look back once before he was enveloped into the crowd. Lewis and Fernando were watching him when he turned to them. Lewis smirked and brought his hand together in a slow clap.

“I see we will have to try harder, Lewis.” Fernando smirked a shark smile. He eyed Max up the way he did on track, like a threat.

“I don’t think so, he’s got Daniel wrapped around his finger. But he’s a smart kid.” Lewis rubbed his beard.

Max rolled his eyes, he didn’t need to respond to their goading. But he could goad in return. “What? You two working together? Are pigs flying?”

“I guess we can just say that enemies fuck better.” Fernando shrugged, “your Daniel will soon learn this too.” He winked and Max scoffed before leaving them with a fake wave.

He made his way back into the garage, they didn’t know what they were talking about. Daniel was his.

Later, when he had Daniel on his knees in his driver room, Max heard their teasing filter in the back of his thoughts. His hand caressed Daniel’s sweaty curls, watching as honey eyes fluttered closed as he bobbed on Max’s dock. Max gripped the back of his neck, pressing his skin to erase the feeling of Fernando's previous touch. He grunted and slammed his hips forward, choking Daniel a little more. Watery honey eyes looked up at determined blue.

“So good for me.” Max whispered, thrusting forward again and again and Daniel clung to his thighs to steady himself. Max came in his mouth with a grunt and then flopped onto his couch. Daniel swallowed as best he could, wiping the rest off of his lips and chin. He scrambled onto Max’s lap when he motioned for him and tucked his face in his thick pale neck while he grinded against him.

Max held his hips while he chased his pleasure, he wanted to see his face. “Look at me.”

Daniel leaned back and Max watched the look of concentration deepen in the furrow of his brows. His grinding got more erratic and Max knew he was close, it never took him long to come.

“Good boy. There you go.” He praised and Daniel whined before stiffening. 

“Max,” he moaned and leaned in to press their lips together. Max turned so Daniel kissed his jaw instead. They didn’t do that.

He helped him clean up before sending him to the adjoining bathroom. When he came back, Max was taking his helmet and gloves from his bag.

“Do you want to catch like dinner later or something?” Daniel asked from the doorway. Max didn’t look over at him.

“No, that's fine. I’m jumping on the sim later.” Max turned to see Daniel biting his lip in uncertainty, but he nodded.

“Ok, yeah nah. I’ll probably just watch a movie or something.”

“Sounds good.” Max grabbed his things and walked to the door, Daniel followed him out and slipped into his own driver room. Max winked at him and walked away to head back to the garage, he didn’t turn to see if Daniel watched him.

“Elegant Chaos, Inelegant Solutions” Preview

For this year’s TF Reverse Bang event hosted by @tf-bigbang, @ihatebrainstorm and I teamed up to bring you a little canon rewrite/POV mashup centered around our favorite chaotic nerdy duo.

If the ritual for ending the Storm contains a melody, the question is which note stands for zero. Of course, my background is a bias - I'm using the standard octave, like I was taught at school (except Poles mark the ti/B note as si and H). An Indian musician would attempt to decode the notes differently, and a historian of Ancient Greece also differently.

Moreover, I thought the "ancient melody" would turn out to be the main theme of the game, but no, that would have been too easy. Still... I'm almost certain the first note was the same.

Thus, there are twelve possible melodies that I could write down. I wrote two melodies.

ooh!! i have a longgg post in the works that goes in-depth on my reverse!au interpretation (including amanda, jeffrey, cole + differences and parallels between deviant/machine hank, connor and their canon counterpart), but the perfectionism demons are whooping my ass rn so ⚰️⚰️ i can def give a quick explanation right now!

HK800s are basically the same as RK800s, in terms of their model's abilities and purpose, but their personalities are mostly different. HK800s are designed to naturally demand respect in professional settings, with their gruff appearance and blunt, assertive personality. Even as full-on obedient machines, they're still capable of sarcasm, natural speech patterns/vocab, challenging their colleagues and actively speaking up for themselves.

HOWEVER, due to some unknown glitch (or maybe because their programming is a teensy bit tooo advanced), the most recent batch of HK800s (51-60) have maxed-out software instability upon activation. so in my au, hank is already a deviant, but it's up to the ""player"" to decide if he chooses to reject this and accomplish his mission, or embrace it and use his power in law enforcement to secretly help any deviants he encounters and, eventually, the revolution.

in some ways, it'll mirror canon hank's character arc (life altering event that happens pre-game and how he chooses to cope), and his behaviour in the hostile/friends route (machine vs. deviant).

assume that any drawing i make of hk800 is during his deviant route, unless i say otherwise lollll im very fond of this cranky asshole robot with a heart thirium pump of gold
