i lOVE i just love how akaashi's like "nah bokuto is the worse, his spiking practice never stops" or something and he's like... right there. like always, all the time, bokuto will ask for more tosses and akaashi will be there all. the. time. like honey you are just humiliating yourself i love how he's the one who puts up with his bullshit more often and he doesn't seem aware of it at all. honestly so sweet

I finally watched and read Moriarty the Patriot :D I managed to find time to squeeze in a few series (along with another Haikyuu rewatch because why not) during the few days of break I had left and the first week of the new semester xD 

I'm glad you suggested that I watch the anime before the manga because after reading, I'm pretty sure I probably wouldn't have enjoyed the anime as much as I did if I read the manga first. I didn't dislike it, though. It was pretty good with the storyline they chose. I do prefer manga over it because of how much more in-depth it went with the story. Also, how at some points the story seemed to flow better in the manga because of how they introduced certain characters and situations beforehand, so in the future chapters the callback made more sense. 

I wasn't expecting it, but Albert kind of grew on me. I didn't really think much of him during the anime, but in the manga I started liking him (especially post time skip). I still need to roll his character arc in my head to fully grasp his personality, but I really like his character. 

I think I'll give it another read, slower this time, because I kind of zoomed through the manga in the first go :') But it was a fun read. I had almost forgotten I once added it to my list so thanks for reminding me about it!! <33

Yesss I agree. I love how the manga doesn’t hold back and goes darker and more detailed in its execution. I feel that was one of the set backs in the anime. They couldn’t go all out. Did you get a chance to see the OVAs?? I’m sure you’ll love them!

The tea party is so funny!! And… cough, they also adapted the hot springs scene 🥰🥰🥰

oh my goodness ieva you don't know this but i am buzzing at the sudden questions JKAJAKJSA let me just...collect my thoughts & hopefully i won't ramble too much now..

to be completely honest with you i wasn't as obsessed with him as i am now. sure, i felt incredibly proud of him when he got his moment during the shiratorizawa vs karasuno arc, but i wasn't as attached, considering that i forgot about him over the years </3 but when i reread/rewatched haikyuu last december, and that my type/attraction already changed as time had passed, he suddenly looked so...beautiful to me. he was already at first but...i felt more drawn to him now, i keep replaying that scene in my head when he first met kags and sho and he obviously showed his disdain for 'passionate people,' how he found love again for volleyball, and..i really see myself in him. maybe because i've changed, or understood better of myself, but something about him tugs at my heartstrings. if that makes sense haha. it's like coming back to a home full of love and passion you never knew you still had within you. him for volleyball and me with writing, because i loathed my writing up until december. and i never knew i could find joy again in this hobby, not until i gave the chance to write him, with no expectations afterwards. just the simple pleasure of indulging in your own hobby :]

also since i'm in my jjba rewatch era... pls watch jojo's bizzare adventure!! it's actually so so interesting and every part has a new story... the characters are super likable (even the villains LMAO) and the actual fights and everything are soooo fun to watch!!! also everyone's hot af if that motivates you :33

•SPOILERS SEASON FOUR•

AHH I LOVE THEM i love how kageyama still had hinata in mind while he was at the intensive training camp, because for him hinata is volleyball is hinata and all that and i love him, the little mental note he had to tell him something that would improve his performance. i love how they start catching up as soon as they see each other, and how kageyama doesn't doubt him at all when hinata told him he had been a ball boy that whole week they didn't see each other, because he knows hinata will make opportunities out or nowhere, he knows it better than everybody.

i love how hinata said that you fight with your team because you don't back down, because the fight is always worth it and how that translates to his and kageyama's relationship, how they're always fighting because they care obviously they do, how he's like i will hit anything you give me and he's like you can jump even higher and all this things that make them one of the greatest love stories ever written
