People think that because Tony works a lot, he doesn’t know movies or entertainment. Well he actually was basically that. That changed when Peter became his intern and started hanging around him often that he’s comfortable watching movies with Peter. It all started with just one movie and now they have movie night every Saturday.

Inspired by this post!

Imagine Peter playing a movie to watch while working on a project. The StarkPad he borrowed from Tony is playing Big Hero Six and Peter absolutely loves this movie. He just hadn’t watched it in a while so he has some reactions to certain scenes that Tony obviously notices and he’s distracted.

The scene at the start where Hiro was fighting against the big guy with the robots and the big guy was hella loud with his obnoxious laugh so Tony is silently watching the scene. Then Hiro comes with his unique robot and absolutely demolished the man’s robot and Peter’s momentarily distracted too with starry eyes. “I will build that robot one day,” Peter mumbles to himself. Tony shakes his head in amusement and continues on his project.

Then the first scene of Hiro’s brother, Tadashi appears. Peter is grinning to himself, giggling while mumbling “Fine shyt,” and Tony is staring at Peter like he’s crazy till Tony saw the aunt and he smacks himself and focuses on his work again.

Fast forward to the introduction of Baymax! Tony is intrigued at the medical robot and he also huffs in amusement at the robot giving Hiro a lollipop. Peter turns back to see Tony working on his work, wondering why he made that sound. Just as he turned back to the screen, Tony’s eyes are back at the screen.

Fast forward to where Hiro makes suits and powers for the team and Baymax and Tony is genuinely fascinated with the gadgets that he starts thinking if he should implement some of those features to the team’s weapons.

Fast forward to Baymax’s so called death, Tony is lowkey saddened but when he sees that Baymax’s actually alive, he smiled brightly. Then the screen turned black for a moment to transition to the credits and Peter catches Tony watching. He immediately turned and is excitedly asking his mentor how was the movie and casually added the idea of watching movies together.

Ever since then, movie nights! There was once they had a Men In Black movie marathon and now every alien they encounter, Tony references their look to it and Peter laughs while the team looks at the two confused. They once watched Tangled and Peter shared to Tony that Wade once made a reference that was hilarious at the time.

Peter: So I was on this building, taller than average. Like a hundred floors or a little lesser? Then one of the windows popped open like a dozen floors below me and I see Wade and he’s yelling, “Spidey, oh Spidey, let down your webs!” And just as I did, he grabbed it and gunshots rang out after!

It’s a way for Tony to know more about Peter and also scold him for his recklessness if he ever did anything too irresponsible and that it was something Peter should have informed him about.

Peter: By the way, can we make that robot that Hiro did?

Tony: I’ll do you one better. We build Baymax.

Cue Peter squealing in excitement and lifting Tony up with ease to the lab.

I love the idea that, whenever a Cybertronian space-faring vessel lands or docks within a predominantly non-Cybertronian space station or port, that it's required that they either confirm or deny whether their vessel is sentient or not before being permitted to land.

1. For proper accommodation and clarification, along with the chance for communication between the vessel and crews working the station/port.

2. Because there has been... incidents... incidents that have led to the requirement of the above reasons.

Me rereading MDZS and having some horror flashbacks about dark shits in this novel just made me realize Skybound comic is kind of lame and childish in comparison.

Transformers brutally killed humans and other transformers??? Lol, tame shit. A demonic arm sucked people dried, a walking statue chomping on human remains, people got sucked into the wall of a haunted building and basically became some form of seal to guard a bunch of magical swords with dark energy. Oh wait, there are much worse shits in the novel.

One species decided to genocide other species for resources? Lol, snoring... MDZS has multiple of them but at smaller scales. However, the reasons for those genocides were very very nefarious that they were just ploys for power grasping.

Revenge and war made you fucked up? I mean if the aftermath of a war was almost everyone who was on board with killing off the renmants of their former enemy as inhumane as possible or apathetic to the suffering of the war prisoners/refugees. Plus, the guy that thought the new "social norm" to use your so-called defeated enemies (that were mainly elders, the peaks, women, and children) as life baits was bad and suddenly he became a boogieman of the society and hated by almost everyone...

Skybound Shockwave is horse-ass at depravity and villainy compared to Xue Yang. And we don't talk about walking waste of a character Skybound Starscream.

Skybound Soundwave? A weakass low-level green tea bitch that should lick the floor where Jins Guangyao walked on.

Skybound Arcee with her rebrand TFP revenge plot but with a father figure??? Besides that neat bonding with Carly, she's a way less cool Jin Ling that reminds everyone about how she felt terrible for her obsession with revenge too much even when the plot didn't ask her to.

Ratchet? If Wen Qing is less cool and barely contributed shit to the story before getting fridged off in the most anticlimactic way to shove a high stake onto the Autobots.

I don't need to compare Optimus Prime to Wei Wuxian because that would be a foul play.

Also, there's no one in Skybound matches the absolute loser's behavior and resentful energy from Jiang Cheng in the most exquisite way. (Starscream after issue 13 kinda similar to Jiang Cheng but sadly Starscream is death cockroach compared to Jiang Cheng)

It's fun to compare a great piece of work that embodies the "More than meet the eyes" motto better than franchise capitalized that motto themselves, lololol.
