Unlike traditional Cybertronians, Terrans:

Are not forged or sparked through known Cybertronian processes,

Do not procreate or replicate,

Were born via unique emotional bonds and the Emberstone.

And as of now:

No second generation of Terrans has appeared naturally,

Chaos Terrans emerge accidentally, without bonds,

There is no structure to ensure continuity.

A race that cannot reproduce is not evolving — it is ending.

If the Terrans are the final spark of a dying species, then Megatron and Optimus have misunderstood. They are not hope. They are the last flicker before the dark.

📚 Canon Beyond EarthSpark: Other New Cybertronians

Across other continuities and comics, Cybertronians do re-emerge in other ways:

Terrans were never meant to thrive. They were meant to symbolize hope — not build it.

🎭 The Illusion of Diversity in EarthSpark

EarthSpark presents itself as an inclusive, diverse show — celebrating neurodiversity, found family, and gender expression. However, this narrative diversity exists in contradiction to a geographic and cultural flatness:

All Terrans are born in one place: an isolated cave in Pennsylvania.

All Terrans are tied to one American family.

No other countries participate in their creation or upbringing.

Non-American Cybertronians are ignored or absent.

Meanwhile, other canons — like Generation 2 — showcase true diversity:

Transformers born in Spain, Germany, Japan, Brazil, the U.K.,

Given citizenship, names, roles, and legacies,

Rooted in Earth cultures outside the U.S.

EarthSpark sells a message of global belonging, but structurally, it isolates Cybertronian birth and identity into a narrow U.S. pipeline.

The contrast between Generation 2 and EarthSpark shows how diversity becomes branding — not structure.

💥 What Do Other Generations Have That Terrans Lack?

3. Spark Lineage — Others follow known systems of spark generation. Terrans are emotionally imprinted.

6. Mythic Status — Others fit into Cybertron’s sacred texts. Terrans are left out of the story entirely.

The Terrans were never meant to thrive. They were meant to symbolize hope — not build it.

⚠️ Doomed From the Start?

If the Malto children unconsciously reject the idea of more Terrans being born — if they resist the creation of more siblings — then that hesitation becomes existential:

Terrans were raised to feel special, unique, and unrepeatable.

The Chaos Terrans threaten that uniqueness.

Spitfire is invited, but only on Twitch’s terms — just as the original Terrans were adopted on human terms.

The Terrans were adopted, not chosen.

If they refuse to welcome or replicate more life, they repeat the same failure as the generation before them.

The children failed the Terrans. Now the Terrans fail the Chaos Terrans.

A race that does not replicate, evolve, or adapt is not a species. It is a story with an ending.

And so maybe... there was never hope. Or hope died when no one chose to make more room.

Spamton NEO for my Royal Caretaker AU :)

Spamton DOES have some background in science or robotics, but like I said, he’s not super qualified for the job of Royal Scientist. So instead of helping Gaster with the Core, the little narcissist works on building a giant robot of himself. He’s doing so to finally be tall and feel like he has power. However, the project got abandoned once Gaster fell into the Core and Spamton needed to figure out how to solve that issue. Once Spamton himself jumped into the Core, the NEO body was tossed, ending up in Waterfall.

When Spamton came out from the Core, a chunk of time had passed, but it felt very short for him due to being inside of the Core. He found Tenna, already powered off, and also found his NEO body. He starts to try and sell junk to fix both Tenna and NEO, since he *does* have that background in robotics, but nobody wants to buy his garbage. He wants to fix NEO to at least use that body and its strength to pick up Tenna and take him out of Waterfall so he stops getting water damaged. However, he doesn’t get to this point on his own.

In any route where Tenna gets repaired, it is done so by Alphys after Frisk informs the doctor about the TV’s state. However, in either pacifist route specifically, Spamton will help by using the damaged NEO body. Unlike a ghost being able to possess a robot, like Mettaton, Spamton isn’t incorporeal. Yet, the Core altered him, making him able to rip his own soul out of his body (Kris Style) and shove it into the giant robot. His own body sort of just rag dolls, but it’s fine and is there for Spamton to return to it (because yeah I didn’t wanna deal with that can of worms of his body turning to dust lmao ALSO he’s just built different now due to what the Core did to him soooooo)

Spamton NEO will pick up Tenna and slowly take him from Waterfall out to the lab in Hotland, but he collapses once he reaches the lab, as the NEO body is not in great condition either. While Tenna is being repaired, Spamton has to make his way back to Waterfall with limited energy and return his soul to his own body, after which the NEO body becomes unusable.

In a genocide route, after Tenna’s death, Spamton will panic and use the NEO body to fight the human, but is able to be defeated due to the withered state of the robot.

Anyway yeah I just wanted to make big robot design :3 oh and the NEO body was defo on the vision board for making Mettaton haha that’s why there’s similarities

When I actually take my time with procreate pieces I think the end result is pretty rewarding. Although I remember when I watched the show I was confused as to why V was friendly with the Dino now and then I realized after like my 5th rewatch that it was probably only the red eyed sentinel because it was the only one that seemed to prefer biological blood to oil. I love how no matter how many times I rewatch this show there always seems to be a rather important plot point that I completely missed lol
