Fun with Rogue Exiles - This morning I talk about completing my atlas and doing some of the nonsensical rogue exile farming in Path of Exile Necropolis.

Design notes!

Vaguely inspired by a maned lioness.

Exceptionally thick, fluffy mane.

“Running mascara”; dark facial tortoiseshell markings. (Inspired by a real life kitty I saw a photo of!)

Lots of hidden “maples” within her design: her face fluff, mane, and tail-tip are all styled like a maple leaf.

Prominent tummy because, if I remember correctly, her kits were just barely weaned at the time of their death, and thus, her own? I could be wrong about that though!

Scarring includes: Two slashes across her muzzle, two slashes across her right side.

the problemmmm with claremont's exiles/new exiles is that a multiversal book needs different ideas for different universes and character. but claremont loves writing characters exactly the same. unlike the og exiles, that took lesser-known characters and made them something else in another universe and setting, claremont kicked all but one of those characters off the book, and the rest of the cast are not only characters with very prominent 616 equivalents (that are written just like their 616 equivalents), but also two actual 616 characters, one originally created by claremont himself. this isn't exiles anymore, it's just claremont's sandbox. it's exhausting to read.
