On Tuesday, March 6, 2023 in #BJUChapel, Steve Pettit was explaining to the student body about the conflict between Pelagius and Augustine. And in a Gnostic-ish moment, in explaining that spiritual love is not the same as "natural love," Pettit stated (11:57):

It's a fairly standard, albeit fundamentalist and sectarian, point.

But the students were tickled. Really tickled.

They went on to tease that maybe Swift would come to Artist Series! After all, Disney is good now at the New and Improved Bob Jones University!

"Ellen Weaver has completed all the academic requirements for the Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Bob Jones University,” Page said in a statement Tuesday afternoon. “Weaver’s diploma will be presented on Friday, December 16, 2022, but she has completed all requirements and earned her Master of Science degree.”

So Friend of the Archive, Randy Page, is the new GOP State Executive Committee person. He won by 90 votes in a pretty close race.

Please note that Page and his cohort are the anti-Trump faction in South Carolina. Go figure.

Among the crowd that is sad that the Board doesn't like Steve Pettit is, of course, Randy Page and Jim Berg. The day before WutBJU announced this information about Steve Pettit's contract renewal (10/17/2022) Randy Page is indicating that he knows about it (10/16/2022) in a pretty obvious way.

The New York Times got that picture on campus because I was giving them a tour. The Times had asked Randy Page for an interview, and he refused. They asked if they could come on campus, and Randy said that was okay. So since he wouldn’t host them, they called me. Seriously, this is how this all happened. Randy refused, so they called Randy’s nemesis.

No student would talk to them. And when David Orr saw us, he marched to the administration building while talking on his cell phone. He was sure we were trespassing. We left after that and had lunch at Tupelo Honey.

They gave the exact same number (with the same exact news release template) last year. The year before that the number was 700. Which is exactly the same as the year before that.

Well, well, well. . . . The media in South Carolina has reported this afternoon that Mrs. Peggy McMaster has tested positive for COVID.

And guess where Mrs. McMaster was last Sunday. Faith Baptist Church in Taylors. You can see her there:

WutBJU said that last Sunday at Faith Baptist in Taylors with the recently-positive Randy Page and the unmasked choir and the unmasked Governor was going to be a super-spreader event. A 98+% chance that a COVID positive person would be in the audience.

And lookie here. Faith knows that its Sunday event was a super-spreader event. They are prepared to not say anything.
