With Ruby being who she is, it was slightly awkward at first.

Ruby introduced herself, and Pietro expressed joy at finally meeting his daughter's girlfriend. After initial introductions, however, the conversation didn't process much further.

Not until Penny began speaking to fill up the void, and she mentions Ruby's weaponsmithing skills.

That started them talking about Atlesian weaponry and then Penny herself.

When Ruby told Pietro that she wanted to know more about Penny's body so that she could do repairs if necessary, he was more than happy to teach her.

Unfortunately, how well they got along led to Pietro telling Ruby embarrassing stories about Penny's "childhood." As much as there is for a gynoid like Penny.

However, it was worth it to see the way that Ruby's face lit up and the subsequent loving smile that was directed at her.

ok hear me out: i don’t think mrs flood is necessarily evil or scheming. she’s tied to the pantheon in some way, but her name isn’t harbinger. and whoever ruby’s parent is, they’re almost definitely also tied to the pantheon too. it seems more than possible that mrs flood was placed there to keep an eye on ruby until the time was right, not to cause trouble or a disaster of some kind, but just as an observer

i cant really find a clear answer on what exactly causes ghouls (in fallout)

its radiation, but most people exposed to radiation just die. is it specifically like, a huge amount at once? gradual transformation over time? do all ghouls inevitably go feral eventually, or does it only happen to some of them? most of the sanctuary hills residents who didnt make it to the vault just died, what caused the salesman to turn instead

i mostly want to know if its viable that my new vegas courier eventually turns ghoul one day due to like, repeated exposure and gradually caring less and less about her health but also, to her very core, refusing to die

or does it only happen in like, a dramatic accident. i dont know

i know you cant become a ghoul in-game i just want to know if i can say she does, one day

I'm in the probably now quite tiny number of people who's listened to the Sapphire and Steel Big Finish audios and every time I relisten to Cruel Immortality and Ruby comes in I have to laugh, because I'm reminded that in three completely unrelated Big Finish series, three completely unrelated characters played by Lisa Bowerman solve the problem of the episode through song.
