the first thing thats coming to my mind regarding her is how much shes compared to her brother on the wiki. everything about her is “like hifumi” “like her brother” and i think thats an accurate appraisal of how she’s treated textually and meta-textually. like obviously hes introduced first hes going to be tethered to whatever impression the audience forms of her but even her role in danrons story boils down to being used as a pawn to manipulate hifumi in the killing game. its for that reason i think being on her own post killing game is sort of freeing for her? not that she doesnt miss her brother she was captured by junko for a reason like, they very obviously care about each other very much but i think after the tragedy is her first time being her own person. its a great opportunity for her to form relationships with people [referring to the other captives] that dont have an impression of her brother to compare her to.
