Andromeda didn’t know if she could’ve handled it.

The first thing in her nightmare she hears is that she’s a widow of.. she couldn’t make out the name. But it sounded… similar to someone’s- never mind. But she was a widow.

And some guy, Orestes had decided to marry her. All she remembered was the red-headed man calling her his daughter.

A sense of familiarity filled her, and she looked at her hands, they flashed to someone else’s and she jumped.

The first day of your birth, her mother had told her, your father said you’re.. special.

When did she apply to being special?!

She held her head in her hands and dropped to her knees, before waking up in her bed, and seeming to let out a shriek.

Before Dark Cacao Cookie got in a relationship with you, he was a bit confused at first on why you were so nice to the others. He didn't get the concept of your personality that despite growing up from an environment where laughter and happiness doesn't even exist here, you were a soft-hearted and very sweet cookie.

But on the right hand, the king has gotten used to embrace your unique personality and was one of the many reasons why he really liked you. You are his sun and light, a polar opposite of him who melted his tough exterior behind closed doors.

Your boyfriend of a king didn't show much PDA during his reign during the day so it's up to you to show him simple bits of pieces of affection like holding his hand or saying encouraging words whenever he felt pressured during his kingly duty.

Imagine his shock when he caught you swinging a sword towards the dummy. Dark Cacao didn't know that his significant other knows on how to fight and was fascinated on each turn and swing you take, unknowingly that the king was watching your every move.

During your second date with your boyfriend, the both of you were ambushed by wolves and other predators that lurked within the village. Dark Cacao was about to give you orders to not engage in battle but you managed to bring a spare sword underneath the thick robe you wore.

You fought fiercely and shouted as you fought the wolves in spite. "Get your filthy paws off of my boyfriend! Or I'll stab your remains and throw it on the licorice sea!"

Overall, upon seeing this other side of his lover, he never thought he could fell deeply in love with you. You are definitely fitting to be the king's lover.

Hollyberry Cookie 💝

Being a cookie whose personality was almost identical as the ancient herself, you are on a ride to a relationship full of sweetness and fluff.

You are the type of cookie who would constantly brings her bouquet of flowers every time you visited her palace while Hollyberry Cookie would give you barrels of berry juice as a way to repay all of the expensive flowers you gave her. Hell, she even nags the royal gardener to plant all the flowers you gave to her and kept it as one of her most precious memorabilia.

The time when she knew that your love for fighting and adventure shows up is when the two of you went to Cranberry Forest in search for one of the rarest berries had ever existed on her kingdom. You are so excited upon finding this berry that you almost slipped up here and there but luckily, your girlfriend was there to catch you from the mud slips.

Suddenly, a vicious tiger was running towards the both of you leaving no choice but to run. Your girlfriend refuses to run away in order to protect you. As she wields her shield, the tiger suddenly went limp as a huge branch was landed on its head.

Hollyberry Cookie was a bit stunted but realizes that you are the one who saved her, screaming a 'Shoo! Leave me and my girlfriend alone! Now shoo!!"

After you and your girlfriend successfully (and excitedly) find the rarest berry from the forest, you enjoyed it with an ice cold glass of juice while your girlfriend constantly teased you affectionately about your opposite personality.

Hollyberry Cookie loved that side of you, so she invited you another date but this time, to travel to all 4 corners of Earthbread. Or perhaps, she just wants this side of you more often...

The question you were asked about what a hypothetical battle between Carnelian and the Makai kings would be like got me thinking.

I imagine it could go like this:

Karl and Burai would be in charge of attacking with magic, obviously they both have great knowledge in very, very ancient and dangerous black magic 💀. I like to imagine that the Wolf clan king and Ajax are much better at melee combat, (plus I have a headcanon about how the Wolf clan members are the strongest demons physically).

Carnelian (as far as I know), can use high level magic and is a vampire over five hundred years old, so he's pretty smart and strong, plus he has a cult at his disposal that do whatever he orders them to do, (for example, in the manga his cult members are in charge of kidnapping demons from other clans, so they must also be strong or be demons themselves as well). This battle of kings would also have to be joined by Carla, as everything seems to point to Carnelian being the creator of the endzeit, so Carla especially has every reason to kill Carnelian, even if that means he has to join his enemies Karlheinz and Burai in the battle...

Meanwhile, Alexander, Shuu, Eberto and Alrick would be facing Carnelian's sons, which are in fact chimeras, since Carnelian experimented on them. Based on my knowledge of the Carnelian Blood characters, here the fight would be close but I think the intellect of both Shuu and Alrick could give them a good edge in the battle. Even Lilly could be there as backup 🗡️.

The rest of the Sakamaki brothers, the Mukami brothers, Shin and Kino (along with the Ghouls), could be fighting Carnelian's elite soldiers - "The Crimson Guard" (which by the way, these characters are canon).

Meanwhile Callista and Yui/MC are in a hostage situation, Calli because she is the future wife of the next Vampire King, and Yui because she is "Eve" and that already makes her too special and important.

I hope this isn't too weird, I just wanted to add my thoughts!

Honestly, the best ideas and story progressions on my blog come from others helping me along the way. Working out ideas and flushing them out. So, please, I love talking about these kind of things and building a bigger world.

You are 100% on how the kings operate. I think that Karl and Burai are more of the magical and tactical. While Gottfried and Ajax are the muscle tanks. I totally agree with your head cannon that the wolves would be the strongest physically - they, to me, are the more natural fighters - they give into their instincts more.

I do recall that Carnelian was the one who created the endzeit - that does give Carla cause to join in with the other Lords, as a Lord in his own right. Perhaps this would also be a turning point for him - to take up that mantle.

I did not know they were Chimeras!!! What! I just thought they were demon boys. See, I don't know anything. This keeps getting deeper and deeper. If that is the case, Shu, Reiji, Alexander and Alrick might have to put their minds together while the other siblings fight. @the-sloth-woman I can totally see Lilly joining the fight in Alrick's stead. Having to deal with a cult and an army - both of which I am just learning about - they are going to need all the smarties. The other boys and even Meteo and Evangeline would be leading the fights with those - no question.

Yui would for sure be a hostage, but I don't think Callista would. Callista isn't the type to go down easy, so if she was taken - it was because she was with Yui. If she was with Yui, and captured she would be plotting their escape. I can see her and Yui making it out and running into the boys like "We're here to save you" and Calli just being like "Well you took too long."

DnD CHARACTERS TIME WHOOOOOO since i'm obsessed with creating funky gay magical people, and have about 20 character ideas, over the past few months i've been drawing a few of them in between my usual fanart :) if you wanna know more i'm leaving some info below ;D

these six nerds are the most developed characters i have so far, and i've only gotten to play Thessa and Valax a little before becoming my party's DM. but here they are!!

🗡️🌊 Leonard, tiefling swashbuckler rogue Ah, this fucker. He's a pirate, he's horrible, he's a tease and he only cares about himself and making gold. No horribly depressed backstory except for like, class struggle and being an orphan, he's sure to make a show everywhere he goes. With a rapier and a dagger always by his side, getting himself into trouble is always at the top of his list. At least they're entertaining and fun to be around, and being enticing sure helps draw attention away from the pickpocketing every here and there.

⚔️🛡️ Thessalya, human battle master fighter Ok ok I'm guilty of giving her way more trauma than I should have, but I love making characters go through fucked up shit and still end up being kind. That's her. Her parents abandoned her while their village was attacked and destroyed, was then captured by some shitty army. Almost died a few times from failed escape attempts, all while she was eight, but eventually she was able to run away! And thank the gods, some good knights took her in and helped her! Now she was two cool dads that taught her how to fight (and sing a little) and she loves studying history and philosophy. She's seen a lot of evil in the world so she hopes she can be strong enough to protect those who need help every now and again.

🌲🌒 Valax Roseshade, wood elf, gloom stalker ranger He's sad. He's a forest hobo. He was literally raised by wolves. He's 300 years old and tired. He smells like grass and fungi all the time. He doesn't talk about his religious trauma. He doesn't talk much in general. Still, he's a deadly shot and a good addition to a party who needs help getting around any large terrain with trees. Always looking to keep the balance between nature and civilization, hunting undead evils and shit. Yeah.

🐺🔥 Navah, human barbarian, path of the beast (possible blood hunter multiclass) Navah also suffers a bad case of parents are dead (and lycanthropy, lol), but she channels her emotions in a very different way. She has a giant axe, she's hairy, she's loud, she likes taking up space and occasionally turns into a wolf. She controls her anger, the part of her which knows she deserves better, to help folk with some extra muscle, even forging her own badass weapons (as long as there's no silver involved).

🎶🎭 Asra, moon elf, college of lore bard The Veiled Siren, as most know her by her stage name, is but a simple bard traveling from town to town. They've been on the road for many years, and home is every place where she makes friends. With a complicated past, they've managed to leave everything behind and start anew, and are enjoying the simple things in life while on a quest to inspire confidence in those who struggle with believing in themselves.

🔫✨ Elphi, tiefling gunslinger fighter/order of scribes wizard Wizard with a gun my beloved. She's smart and skilled but visibly struggles holding conversations with anyone that's not a magical talking book. I don't know who gives a kid a gun, but thankfully whoever that was taught her proper safety. Well, whoever that was, no way they're crazier than the nerdy archivist that took her in and offered his library/home for the energetic pink little demon. She's read many books about wonderful and dangerous adventures and is looking forward to write her own!
