Here is a list of my favorite DP fics! Most of them are not particularly recent, because I am Behind On The Times. For example, I still haven’t read “A Snapping Sound”, so it’s not included here, but I understand that it is very good. You may have read most of these already! But on the off chance you haven't, please enjoy perusing this lovingly hand-selected and alphabetized list.

*I haven't put Cordria's stories on this list. Everything by Cordria is amazing. Close your eyes and point at one, and you won't be disappointed.

Mod Erhardt Intro Post

Hello! 

I am your Mod Erhardt, and I’d love to welcome you to Octopath Exchange!  I suppose it would behoove you know a little about me, no?

I have been writing fanfiction for roughly 17 years across a wide range of fandoms, from obscure anime (Samurai 7) to popular movies (Star Wars).  My largest collection of work is in the TV show Danny Phantom.  That being said, my work from 2002 is...less than stellar, so if you choose to look at my collection, please look at anything from 2008 and onward.  My longest work is around 200k words.  I am generally more active on fanfiction.net because, well, I started there and am a creature of habit.  My username there is Ryuuko1. Now that you have my general background, here is a little more pertinent information: My favorite main character is Cyrus.  Oh, Cyrus, my sweet, sweet, oblivious academic.  I like to think we would get along well in real life; at the very least, I would enjoy talking long into the night about esoteric crap that has no real bearing on actual life but is fun as hell to learn about.  Olberic comes in a close second. My favorite non-main character is Erhardt.  He’s so complicated and fascinating and actually really human as a character. My favorite of the characters’ tales is Therion’s.  The plot arc and character development is just perfect. My favorite character musical theme is Cyrus’ because it is a waltz and pretentious and beautiful.    My primary ship is Olberic and Erhardt.  Always and forever.  My gods, the entire time they were on screen with each other in chapters three and four...I just died.  I do favor H’aanit/Ophilia, too. I am writing fanfiction for Octopath Traveler, and it is currently being posted on AO3.  It is Olberic and Olberhardt-centric because I love them.  I believe Mod Therion gave a link to my profile there somewhere below. As I am currently working and taking night classes at school, I will be the less responsive between me and Mod Therion, but any questions directed at me in particular will always be answered.
