I was flown in via the Military to a mobile laboratory in a place called "Jupiter" named after the factory down towards the southeast. Alongside me was another scientist, Dr. Kovalchuk, but he was dropped off at Lake Yantar with Professor Sakharov's detachment. On the way to the lab, I I swore I saw a bolt of electricity discharge from the sky at random while we were flying, the men in the helicopter with me were unsure of what it was either. I haven't gotten the chance to ask what it was, but I'll speak with the Stalkers- (people who explore and live in the Zone.) -about that if I see one.

Anyway, as soon as I got off the helicopter I was greeted by Professor Hermann, he explained how I wasn't to leave the general area without a guard, for my safety as there were reports of a "chimera" around.

I have to go, I'll update my posts later.

“You aren’t wrong, lad.” The stranger responded. “And I do wonder what else is in store, aside from what you’ve told me.” Were Slav to take mental note, this man had fair skin, blue eyes, black, braided hair and... Well, not much there aside from a coat, a pair of pants and a pair of matching boots. He wasn’t completely unarmed, however, as he had a supply bag with him. A few necessities-- Food, water, currency and some basic weapons to start off with were in there.

A visitor to the exclusion zone shouldn’t be wearing this casually if they were to make living in here, let alone survive.

Anomalies, the man before him said? Interesting. Would Kahann count as one? Who knows? His human form was still more than convincing to tell Slav that he isn’t anything of the anomalous sort. Wouldn’t want someone to know that death himself is right in front of them, right?

“I can tell that you’re the sort to make trades.” The tall man sat down and rummaged through the supply bag he just opened-- Probably to take out a wallet full of cash he prepared beforehand. “I’ll be needing those bolts if you have any in your possession right now. I trust that it’ll help with knowing something weird is afloat when I see one, no?”

“And I imagine with a place so irradiated to the point it can corrupt someone I’ll be needing protective equipment. Do you happen to sell armory too?”

Some STALKER screenshots with a complete revamp from me and my friends. We changed some meshes and color filters, upped the textures and finally, the weather works the way it should (read; fog, thunderstorms, and blowouts have their own particle system)  really happy with the results
