note: Cyjon altered some majors' names and skill requirements (he also hates Philosophy methinks), Phaenoh offers a different version that changes which career requires degree (just like mine but ADDED Business), Belladovah offers Education version in which every major benefits the Education career.

HAPPY BIRTHIVERSARY part 1 - THE SIMS 2 IS 20???
FUN FACT: The Sims 2 (2004) was released 3 days before the date upon which I was released from my mother's womb, therefore making me younger than The Sims 2 by 3 days as of September 14th 2024, but objectively older by 6 years as of September 17th 2024. The march of time is inevitable and frightening! Let's celebrate!
Admittedly I didn't have very much to give when it came to sharing content for the Sims 2's anniversary because I've been battling the Chronic Exhaustion Demon, but then I realized I still haven't released those hair colors I showed a while back. And then I realized I could share EVEN MORE content by spreading it out across a few days instead of condensing it into one day. And it just so happens that, as stated above, there are two special occasions (for me at least... lol) close together on the calendar. SO. HERE'S SOME COOOONTEEEENT.
Today's bundle is mainly a resource for creators who use GIMP 2.x, and includes 11 UNNATURAL HAIR COLORS in the form of Curves that can be used on just about any texture you want, as long as you use it on a Volatile base These only come in Curve form, but if anyone would like to convert them into Photoshop actions, you're more than welcome to.
The colors are named, in order of appearance above: Sapphire, Tanzanite, Azurite, Alexandrite, Moonstone, Aquamarine, Bloodstone, Ruby, Entropy, Blue Moon, and Lily. You can read more about them under the cut.

(btw I made the Gemstone colors and the Alien black and brown a year ago, and I made Ruby and Lily this year, which is why they're in separate folders in the .zip)
The Gemstone colors were inspired by, of course, gemstones. They were my first attempt at making a hair color palette of my own. Out of them all, Moonstone, Bloodstone, and Alexandrite are my favorites.
I wanted to go for something fantastical. I also wanted to push GIMP's Curve function to the limit and see how many shades I could put into one color without it looking like garbage.
I use Bloodstone, Moonstone, and Aquamarine as Red, Blond, and Grey respectively in my (still hypothetical) Alien hair color family.
Entropy - intended to be alien "black", a very desaturated indigo color. since Alien sims born in game typically have black hair genetics (unless using a pt mod that changes this), I wanted it to really stand out against both the Maxis mint green and any alternative Alien themed skin tones despite its overall 'plainness'.
Blue Moon - intended to be alien "brown", I wanted to go for a color that was strange and unsettling in comparison to human brown hair. I think I originally intended it to be more blue but it came out more desaturated teal instead. Attempts to change this made it too similar to Entropy for my liking, so I left it as it is.
These colors were originally created and named after the sims I specifically made them for, and I was going to use them only on a small handful of hairs. But I liked the shades so much that I decided to incorporate them into my personal palette. And so, with that in mind, it didn't feel right to keep them to myself.
'Lily' maintained its name as a color, but 'Ruby' was renamed to what it is now. In my game I bin them as Brown and Black respectively because they're meant to be considered 'dyes' in-universe and I wanted to be able to make their associated sims in CAS without having to make them go to the mirror in-game every time I put them in a new hood, but you can do whatever you want with them lol.

As I slowly get back into creating, I've found myself in need of more resources to streamline the process of converting. So whilst I'm re-learning all my skills, I've decided to share everything I personally wanted with you (´。• ᵕ •。`)
Walls are really fun to convert, but if you want to give them an extra oomph . . . well, you'll need it to have some nice skirting and coving, won't you?
Details is a PSD with wall coving + skirting pulled from the Sims 4 Base Game. It's featured on wallpapers like "Basic Darks with White Trim", amongst others. The texture was extracted and cleaned up by renorasims, then converted, tweaked and recoloured by me.
It comes in all 27 colours from my state of elegance palette and features a subtle shadow near the top (coving) and bottom (skirting) of the texture for some added depth.

Use them freely on all walls, from tiles to wallpapers, for that little bit of sophistication!
DETAILS — You will need a copy of Photoshop to open these files. It doesn't matter which version of Photoshop you have; PSDs are forwards and backwards compatible. — Credit: EA and renorasims. — There are two versions of the PSD file included: one for Windows users and one for Apple users. The Windows PSD is made for 512 x 1024 walls; the Apple PSD for 256 x 512 walls.

Revealing my WIP "Clouds" Hair System for TS2!

The Clouds system is a more realistic take on a Maxis-match hair system! You might have seen it already if you're in the TS2 Community Discord! It has subtle, soft shine to strike the perfect balance between flatter so-called "maxis-match" systems and shiny/realistic ones. It comes in two sets of all-original colors.
I plan on doing brows/facial hair at some point to go with it. Please let me know if you have suggestions/requests for those or hair meshes you'd want to see in this system!

I have 24 hairs so far and I'm debating whether to wait and release in bulk or start releasing individually/in waves. (Leaning on the latter for time reasons but let me know what you prefer!)

TS2 Quality of Life Mods
idk what else to call them... Mods that make sims slightly less annoying to deal with, or slightly more self-sufficient, or tweaks that help reduce risks of corruption or otherwise avoid less than ideal problems/situations.
It’s not 100% comprehensive, just a list of mods I personally use or have used. Even then I have way more mods than this total, but I just wanted to focus on one specific aspect.
I intended this to be more like a personal archive than anything, so don’t take it as guarantee that every single one works together without conflict lol
SuperDuperHugTest (instantly removes Super Duper Hug Bug from any infected lot as soon as it’s loaded)
Mods by TwoJeffs
• Visitor Controller (you can allow/ban sims from a lot based on tons of things)
• ACR (Autonomous Casual Romance)
• Same Sex Marriage (no “Joined Union" for gay couples just “Married”)
• Stinky Dormies & Assignments Fix (dormies never shower or complete assignments because Do Assignment advertises Hygiene fulfillment??)
• Smart Beds (enforces bed ownership, but I don’t really use it because townies or sims you've never directed to Sleep will never autonomously sleep in a bed)
• Have-Adopt Child Want Fix (adopting a baby fulfills Have a Baby want & vice versa)
• Sim Blender (modify motives, skills, relationships, skills, personality... everything basically. also the fastest way to do the Good Genes Challenge because you can choose one sim to get pregnant by another sim and accelerate the pregnancy to only take 3 hours instead of 3 days)
• Preg for All Genders (AF sims can impregnate AF/AM sims, or AM sims can impregnate AM sims, stuff like that)

• No Trash Memories (removes “Met [Sim]” and “Moved In/Out” memories so they don’t clog up the memory panel, also removes “Met Mystery Sim” memories from CAS sims so they can have a First Kiss with a real sim lol)
• No Sim Loaded (removes “Sim Loaded” tokens from sims, which apparently do nothing anyway, and whenever a lot is loaded it automatically clears/resets things that are otherwise broken or could possibly cause corruption, also suppresses the Super Duper Hug Bug so you don’t see it in the game)
• No Lecture Baby (stops sims from lecturing babies for being stinky)
• Less Toddler Annoyance (toddlers ask adults for stuff based on needs/skills)

• Batbox (clear gossip to reduce chances of corrupted memories, make sims stop doing the silly dance face if it gets stuck, delete all rain puddles, make dormies stuck as transparent from being in their room normal again, etc.)
• Stuck Object Remover (place it on a square to delete everything in that square if you can’t otherwise see/interact with whatever’s stuck there)
• No Unlinkage On Urnstone Delete (prevents shredded character files caused by deleting tombstones or when moving them to community lots)
• No Corrupted Death Memory (reduces the chances of seeing the corrupted memory that we all know as the “squiggly lines” - btw it’s a corrupted memory NOT a corrupted sim/hood. still not great, but also not the end of the world if you do end up seeing it)
• Creature Fixes (random fixes for supernatural behaviors/wants/appearances)
• AL Fixes (fixes related to things from AL that the EP broke or came broken lol)
• Vacation Fixes (fixes related to bugs from Bon Voyage)
• Anti-Redundancy (prevents tons of new NPCs being needlessly created)
• No SS Respawn (limits new townies being created to fill Uni Secret Societies)
• No Stray Respawns (prevents tons of stray dogs/cats being created)
• Garden Club Townie Fix (makes the game treat Garden Club members as townies, because it didn’t before, which prevents issues that may have caused)
• Door Jam Fix (fixes doors getting stuck open by a light or stair tile)
• Warmth Fixes (prevents zombies from getting frostbite or sims exercising indoors spontaneously combusting)
• Drama Professor & Met Self Fix (prevents useless memories related to the drama professor and “Met Self” from happening)
• Front Door Hack (the door a deliveryperson considers the “front” door makes more sense, instead of a garage or a door in the back of the house)
• Smarter Cashier (makes it faster to earn the Register talent badge, because apparently by default it otherwise takes 50 checkouts to get to Bronze)
• No Humble (Rod Humble doesn’t visit new families but you can buy his PC)
• No Eat Crap (sims stop eating when they’re full or if food spoils while eating)
• Anti-Foodnapping Hack (sims won’t fall asleep in their food if doing so would cause them to die of starvation)
• Less Whiny (sims whine less about “stupid things” - idk what that means but I’ve apparently been using this mod sooo yeah lol)
• Don’t Wave At Me (if sims are having a problem they just have the problem instead of yelling at you about it first)
• Anti-Weather Reactions (prevents reacting to weather from becoming a thing sims have to do immediately even when they’re doing other stuff or sleeping)
• No Servo “Do Chores” (removes autonomous “Do Chores” self interaction from servos)
• No Baby Harassment (stops sims from constantly interacting with babies, which is annoying because then babies never get a chance to sleep)
• No Route Fail (stops the complaining/yelling when sims are blocked by something, leaves only the thought bubble telling you what’s causing the blockage)
• Local Walkbys (walkby sims are from the same hood the lot is in)

• Smarter EP Check (many of Cyjon’s and others’ mods require this to work)
• Lot Inspecter (place it on a lot and it tells you if it’s safe to delete a lot or not because of tombstones, offworld loiterers, owned businesses, etc.)
• NPC Maker Fix (improves functionality of NPC Maker that can be spawned with TestingCheatsEnabled)
• Breadfruit Tree Fix (stops tree from burning forever after lightning hits it)
• Bug Collection Fix (sims literally can’t complete the bug collection without this)
• Call to Meal Fix (doing “Call to Meal” won’t include servos/babies/toddlers/plantsims/NPCs in who comes over to grab a plate)
• Dance Advertising Tweaks (different dances are preferred based on personality)
• Dance Near Stereo (sims doing the smustle get closer to the stereo first instead of just suddenly dancing outside in the corner of the lot alone)
• Dumb “In Use” Test (sims won’t go all the way across the lot to use an object if it’s already being used by another sim)
• Fake Townie Sales (NPCs/townies buying from a business don’t get tons of objects piled in their inventory, it just disappears)
• Fewer Tourists (allows smaller/fewer Vacation Destination tourist families, because otherwise the game expects 12 families with at least 4 members each and will not generate any tourists at all if there’s less than that)
• Floor Sleep Fix (fixes bug where a passed out sim stops gaining energy)
• Ghost Hack (set of mods you can pick & choose from for ghost behavior)
• Less Naked Freakout (sims in Love don’t get shocked seeing each other naked)

• Memory Fixes (fixed bugs related to a few memories and associated gossip)
• More Dishes (sims pick up more dishes to clean at once than originally)
• No Table Platters (sims can’t put serving platters on eating surfaces)
• Pool Ladder Autonomy (sims autonomously enter pools using the ladder)
• Relationship Decay Fix (fixes bug related to daily relationship decay involving larger sized families/households)
• Self Preservation (sims prioritize satisfying Hunger over Bladder or Energy)
• Smarter Chair Selection (sims choose seating more sensibly, based on location/proximity/activity)
• Smarter Food Serving (sims decide how many plates to serve based on who’s on the lot without including people like babies or ghosts)
• Townie Apartment Residents (empty/unplayed apartments are filled by townies instead of social groups, which you might not have/want in a hood)
• Townie Enthusiasm Seeder (gives townies hobby enthusiasm if they don’t have any, usually when they were made in CAS then turned into a townie)

• Yoga/Meditation Fix (you can put Yoga/Meditation in a sim’s queue multiple times so they resume after falling without it disappearing from the queue)

• Random Dormies (dormies that move in are picked randomly instead of being the lowest numbered, also if a dorm a dormie lived in is demolished or no longer has a playable sim in it then their old dorm room key is removed so they can move into a new dorm)
• Inventory Inheritance (the inventory of a sim who died gets moved to another sim based on their relationship with variances you can choose from)
• Food Already Available Fix (if food is already on a lot then sims won’t autonomously cook, get a snack, or “Stuff Face” with some variances you can choose from)

Crybabies Paradise Eyes

The defaults are swatches 41, 34, 23, 12, and 07, plus the alien swatch.
The dark blue was replaced with a hazel swatch because it matches the genetics more.

I'll be honest: I mostly just wanted both some darker and some less intense colors. And a few of the existing swatches not already converted.
For the geneticized set, the top three rows (swatches 28-54) are dominant, while the bottom three (swatches 01-27) are recessive. Numbering goes from right to left, bottom to top, because I can make nothing simple I guess.
Both the custom and geneticized share files, so you can't have both at once. There's also a custom version of the alien eye in both folders.
Also, I really have no idea what counts as animation friendly, so here's a mostly unedited and slightly deranged shot of a sim emoting.
I started these a while back, and I wasn't sure if I was going to share them because idk there are so many eyes out there and these edits appeal specifically to me and my weird finally-figuring-iy-out maxis mix-ish (???) game.
But I got an ask about them that I still need to respond to sorry I just felt bad that every answer for every ask I've gotten lately is "they're a wip lol so I figured, why not?

As requested by one very enthusiastic Anon, today I’m sharing the setup of geneticized + townified skins I use in my game. It contains upwards to 100 geneticized skins (it’s actually 97, but shhhh,100 sounded better), and more than one half of them are also townie-enabled, meaning that they will randomly spawn on sims generated by your game. Say goodbye to bland townies! :D
What are geneticized/townified skins?
The 4 skins in your game have a ‘genetic’ value assigned by EA. Those values are: S1 = 0.10 | S2 = 0.30 | S3 = 0.60 | S4 = 0.90. If a custom skin is ‘geneticized’, it means that it has been assigned a genetic value by the player. In other words, the custom skin now acts like the four in-game skins: it becomes part of the skin colour spectrum and can be randomly inherited by sims born in the game, as long as it falls on or between the values of the parents' skintones.
A ‘townified’ skin is, simply put, any custom skin that has been set to spawn on townies and NPCs generated by your game.

General Notes:
First and foremost: this is a HUGE set, so I’ve included a swatch card with names and previews for all skins which tells you exactly where each skin falls on the genetic scale, what their values are, which ones of them are townified, etc. Make sure to study it carefully!

They were made by creators far more talented than myself, a full list of whom is included in the Read Me file that accompanies this download. Please take the time to actually read the Read Me, since it also contains links to the original uploads!

Smooth Hands edit for males - Less Fragile
Smooth Hands always looked too fragile to me esp the wrists so i’ve decided to try and tweak them at least on the males versions. I think they look closer to Maxis now but not blocky. The edits were pretty small i just enlarged the hand a bit and widened the wrist. This is the hands i’m gonna be using for males from now on instead of standart Smooth Hands and at some point i’ll update any meshes that i’ve released previously with those hands as well. It also looks like @sims-influence is gonna be using those hands as well so you don’t have to count only on me if you’re interested :D
Download hands for Milkshape: They’re the same as Yuxi’s templates and all credits for those go to Tenshii Akari (for the hands) and Yuxi (for Milkshape templates), no need to mention me in any way if you use, but i think it’d be a good idea to say that it’s edited mesh of the hands.
Donwload basic default meshes: Some basic topnaked and bodynaked mesh replacements for teen-elder males. They also have SexyFeet and all morphs and are originally Male Mesh Improvements by Aquilegia.
Download basic custom meshes: Influence made top meshes into customs and also made ingame previews for me, thanks! :)

Naturals and Custom Candy Colors V1 - Curves For GIMP
Heyyyyy gang I made some curves, specifically for hair retexturing. The blonds still need some work, but for right now I’m pretty happy with how they all look, so I decided to share.
I couldn’t think of any good cool and epic names for the natural colors so you just get the standard regularly-named five naturals + an additional dark blond. Meanwhile, the unnatural colors, save for Miku Teal, reminded me of candy flavors, so I ended up calling them Candy Colors and giving them silly names to reflect that. Miku Teal is, of course... Miku Teal. I made them all from scratch on a Volatile base, mostly just to see if I could.
This isn’t really a ‘hair system’ as I haven’t actively retextured any hairs using these colors... yet. Honestly, it feels less like an actual system and more like add-ons to the system I already use, but in case anyone wanted to make their own system out of this, I made all of the basic colors you’d need.
The downloads below include the above swatches, information about how to use the curves, installation instructions, and a (very basic and very open) usage policy.

Download MM Cheap Actions (SFS)
I’ve had these for YEARS & I guess forgot to ever share them publicly? Big oof. These are color actions to match the Maxis cheap appliance/plumbing colors, such as that one pink toilet, with the black from the Ciao/CiaoTime appliances & the blue from the Uni cheaper grungy fridge thrown in to make a more balanced palette.

i’ve just discovered a little mod that has changed my (sims) life probably forever! it expands both the CAS menus and the in-game menus to save you the pain of clicking a million times. the CAS one is compatible with the widescreen CAS camera fix, and they’re all super easy to install (just drop into the downloads folder)!

I decided I needed just one more baseball cap with a retro Doctor Who logo, which of course, I had to simlify, so I thought I’d pop the full size PNG on here for anyone else who might want it because why not, I’m just gonna shrink it anyway.
It’s not perfect because the original wasn’t transparent even though it said it was and really, I probably should’ve just recreated the whole thing from scratch instead of drawing over the top and erasing the real world bits, but I didn’t, so this is it.
