I genuinely get teary every time the people of Midst show up in 3x19 Balance. They are just ordinary people with whatever weapons they can find, facing down trained soldiers with laser guns. This is the community Saskia helped build, fought and died (twice) for, and we can see why.

A demented tangent about "aid station" S3E19

Okay, this has always been one of my favorite episodes, and there's just so many reasons why. Of course, we have Klinger being a somewhat main player, and I adore Hawkeye and Margret episodes with just how differing their personalities are, yet they can still find ways to stand with each other during fear, or threat. And the contrast of the scenes switching between the front where the three are, risking their lives, and the 4077, where Frank is complaining about mundane things. It really puts things in perspective, and that moment Hawkeye and Margret share at the end, holding up their mugs is just so darn wholesome in some odd way, them sharing some sort of understanding. I also just surely enjoy Margret threatening Frank to not fool around with the other nurses, and his reaction when he thought they fooled around at the end. "Well-oiled machine." Makes me laugh every time.
