Of the various FGO Spin-Off manga/drama CDs, which do you feel is particularly worth checking out be it for lore or just good content? The Dantes Drama CD is pretty famous for Roa for example.

Roa's part in Dantès's backstory is the standard here? Ok, then there's the short story for Helena's backstory (summarized in Holmes's Interlude), which will probably become really useful later, but for now it's too cryptic. The Salem manga has new characters and the SE.RA.PH manga has the full version of Emiya Alter's backstory, if you care, but that's about it.

The other character that got additional backstory as side stories in TM ACE are

Jekyll's (also summarized in Holmes's interlude), which is mainly a sneak peek at Holmes and Moriarty before their characters were properly introduced. The Archelot family is also involved.

Asterios's, which is a sneak peek at Theseus characterization (nothing you don't already see in his Grail Front, for the most part).

Jing Ke's, which I guess shows Pan-Human Shi Huang, who is reasonably different.

Douman's, released in manga format with only one chapter yet. Nothing major happened on this one yet.

Discount Options & More - 2025 Comms Incoming

Well, ladies and gents, it’s almost time to publicly open commissions for 2025! So, let’s talk shop here…

First of all, after discussing things with the people who were left on the Waiting List from last year, I now have FOURTEEN OPEN SLOTS for this upcoming year. Ten of them are on the main queue; the other four are part of a small Waiting List just in case. The ten on the queue are sort of spread out across the year.

As a reminder, once I open, all messages to request a commission will be sent to the following e-mail address: ccmtt2comms@gmail.com

I will no longer be accepting requests via PMs. The standard fee is $15 per thousand words; most stories will not be less than 3000 words in length, and the maximum cap is 8000 words in length.

HOWEVER, for the year, I am providing the standard run of Discount Options. These are characters where, if you request a story featuring them as a major character (for vore/stuffing stories, specifically means them as the predator/big eater), you get a discount on your final purchase. Stories that adhere to the options here and all the rules applicable will be charged $10 per thousand words, instead of $15. So, for example, if you purchase a story for 5000 words minimum, the initial fee will be $50 instead of $75.

The rules are simple: again, the character you choose must be a major character, and I will determine whether the idea warrants the discount or not based on your description (for instance, if your concept isn’t kink-related, then it depends on how much focus the character gets). Second, you can only use ONE character from the list at a time: you can ask for two in the same story. Third, if the character you choose is playing the predator, they must be either the sole predator, or at least the “apex” of the story. (Meaning if there ARE other predators involved, it’s the chosen character who gets the last laugh, so to speak.) Fourth and finally, the story MUST be at least worthy of 2k words minimum to qualify, but again, that probably won’t be an issue.

Beyond that, standard rules apply. Also, I’m no longer limiting how many people ask for a character, BUT I will be splitting up how often I write for that character in the year; so, if someone in Round Two of the comms for the year has a story with a character listed here, I won’t be writing a story with the same one in the same round. I hope that makes sense. With all that said, take a look below, and when the time comes, we’ll see how things work out…

The basis of Watts's character is supposedly "What if Watson worked for Moriarty instead of Sherlock". And this is an interesting idea (even if Watts has very little in common with Watson), and it makes me wish that the rest of Salem's squad followed similar "What ifs". Twisted scenarios that would take these classic characters and turn them into villains. With Tyrion, this "What if" would be simple. What if, instead of drowning, the scorpion was rewarded for its violent nature. Personally, I feel this should necessitate a change in his personality, make him less fanatically devoted to Salem and instead have it so he simply works for her because she gives him the opportunity to kill people. However, keeping his current character wouldn't be too much of a stretch.

Hazel is the first character that would require a major overhaul. First off, his sister should still be alive. Their "What if" could be "What if the witch took the twins under her wing instead of trying to eat them". Hazel and Gretchen could have been a pair of young hunters who were sent on a mission that was way too dangerous for them. Then when everything went south, they could have request help (be it backup or an evac plan) that never came. Then, Salem could have scooped them up. Thus they work for her both out of loyalty for saving/sparing them, and to get revenge on the governments that abandoned them to die. This would make more sense than Hazel's current nonsense motivation, and it ties into his fairytale inspiration more (With how Hansel and Gretel were abandoned in the woods before finding the witch's house)

As for Cinder, she has a couple of different options. While we could do "What if Cinderella's fairy godmother was evil" and have Salem be the fairy godmother, I'm instead going to propose "What if Prince Charming was evil" and have Salem fill in for the prince.

In this idea, Cinder's stepfamily (I'm calling them stepfamily for ease, even if they could still be adopted family/slave owners like the show had) would be servants of Salem. When Salem started looking for a person to steal the Maidens' powers, the stepmother would have suggested her own daughters for the role, even though Cinder was a better candidate due to being crafter, being a better fighter and having better Semblance. That weird Bug Grimm from Vol 3 could fill in for the slipper, where Salem could have it try to bond with the stepsisters, only for them to be horribly injured or killed by it due to being too weak to handle it (this would be a nod to how the sisters cut off their toes and heals to fit inside the slipper in the Brothers Grimm's version). Then, Salem finds out about Cinder's existence and has the Grimm bond with her, and Cinder is able to control its power. Thus, she gets taken away to be Salem's most important servant and gain all the powers of the Maiden, which would her twisted equivalent to Cinderella's Happily Ever After.

Agartha is the most hated chapter next to Septum. They were written by the same person if I remember correctly? It's very much specifically a him problem, he's quite bad at writing.

I like Astolfo, but I watched Apocrypha so a lot of it comes from there. I also agree that it was nice to see fate lean into him being an actual villain! Wish it had happened in a better chapter!

When it comes to Wu... I don't really know how I feel about her tbh. When it comes to lolis in Fate... there is no innocent explanation I am willing to give them because I know Prisma Illya exists. And because of something related to Abigail Williams I won't get into yet because I don't know if you have done Salem or not. No amount of interesting takes on a character excuses sexualizing a child, it's honestly my biggest ick with the series as a whole.

Back to Agartha for a second... fgo does this thing where it will introduce a female historical figure who is known for having been sexualized and degraded and it will make her character design hyper sexual, and they do this constantly. There are a lot of arguments about this, some say it's about reclaiming a woman's power and agency but I don't really find myself able to accept that. It sort of rings hollow when you are a gacha game that makes money off of making sexy women. It's kind of like a makeup company advertising women's empowerment as a key part of their brand identity. Sure, your founders and employees might really believe that, but you are pushing skincare products towards a younger and younger age demographic because it makes you money.

I don't know if you are familiar with NeiR at all, but the weird guy who makes it has been pretty open about the fact that he made 2b look like that because he thought it would be sexy. I have 0 problems with that, what I don't like is when a game or franchise makes money off of sexy women and then bends over backwards to justify why they do that. But then again, bending over backwards to justify things is sort of Fate does at all times anyway so maybe I'm just over thinking things. It is nice to have a chance to talk about these things and still be allowed to like the series! The fight scenes in fate are peak as are some of the concepts they come up with, I just don't always enjoy it when they start pandering because well. It's not like they're pandering to me now are they?
