Absolutely underrated aspect of Season 6 is Demetri's bile fascination with Axel. Like I hate this guy so much that I'm going to re-create his exact likeness, down to every tiny detail, in a VR for the express purpose of teaching my friend how to best beat the shit out of him. I'm also going to pay obscenely close attention to every modicum of how he fights and ALSO put that in the VR--for tactical purposes, you understand, not because I enjoy studying the male body. I know a lot of people like keen/ry and I totally get why, but it’s also soooo funny seeing all of their moments this season dwarfed by both of their homoerotic interactions. Sam saying Tory could’ve come to her and then tacking on “or to Robby even…” as an afterthought. Sam talking to Robby about his relationship w Tory but he keeps looking and smiling at Miguel the whole time (???). Sam and Tory somehow having a more convincing yearning exes vibe than the actual exes. The fact that it’s almost always Tory and SAM making eye contact across the mat. And every time that happens Robby isn’t even looking at Tory either, he’s looking back at Sam like he’s finally putting the pieces together. Robby at the Sekai Taikai going wait a minute…. Now hold on…. As if he is not Also having a gay moment every five minutes. I love it when heterosexuality loses.
