angst Sapnap fic where singer!reader publishes an album after their breakup and Sapnap is listening to it knowing the songs are about him?

its sad, really. you two didn't break up because of a horrible fight that went too far or an unfair infidelity. you broke up because of your schedules. you would go months without seeing each other, each one of you respectively getting sucked up into your work. texts and calls slowly growing smaller and shorter with too much time passing between each one. so you two decided it would be easier to break up.

there was no bargaining or begging the other stay. no promises to make more of an effort to stay in contact. and dont take it the wrong way. You two didn't do this because that spark was gone, but because that spark, that love, was burning too strong for either of you to hold each other back.

maybe it's true that neither of you dated for a while after. maybe you each cried for hours and mourned the loss of what could have been. but it's known that when someone has experienced heartbreak in a way that could never be described, they turn to what they're best at. their escape.

your ex-boyfriend worked on himself, physically that is, and threw himself into longee recording sessions. people argued it was the best era of his career in those months after you two split.

and you poured your soul into writing your music. creating melodies where people could feel your sorrow. when you tried to write about something else, it kept coming back to him. the image of his green eyes and the sound of his beautiful laugh oozing through music. and in the deepest part of your files, you ignored the song you were writing for him before you split.

the album you put out six months after the breakup was your best selling. people's theories of it being about him turned out to be true, and it gave everyone the insight that it was simply the case of the right person at the wrong time. a peak into your love.

but it wasn't that simple. in fact, it was too complex for anyone to truly understand and feel your feelings through the speakers of their phones or earbuds. but he understood it.

he listened to it on stream to "show his support" but grew morbidly silent after hearing the first two tracks. he was tempted to turn off the stream, crawl into bed, and listen to your voice as if you were singing directly to him and only him.

and in a way, you were. the laughing on the last track on the album was meant for him. who else would know it was from the one night you two went on a late night ice cream run and thought to 'vlog it'. who else would know that the title of the song was one that he had come up with when you asked him the simple question, "what would you want me title a song if i made one about you?"

"nickles," he responded, "because my name is Nick."

who else would know that the title of the album was Spare Change, not because what you felt for him was like the unwanted almost valueless money at the bottom of your bag, but because you had so much leftover love for him. you had so much love for him that you would find it in random places, and you couldn't get rid of it.

oh man, sc!sapnap's death is so horrifying, with dream and george it happens instantly. But imagine blaze!sapnap, born for the heat, they were playing memory games in the cold for SO LONG. then the hypothermia kicks in, he starts shivering that he can't even hold onto the cards properly anymore. he gets BURIED ALIVE under the freezing snow [which can take HOURS]... He can feel his heart pump slower and slower under that heavy weight of frost and dirt. He'll be so confused as oxygen stops entering his brain, and he just... slowly fades away...

This would probably be the first time Serpias asking out right if he can sleep with them, any other time he was just awkwardly at the edge before one of them pulled him in... Sapnap wants to chalk it up that Serpias is just missing him (and that doesn't fill him with guilt at all :^) but it does lead to Sapnap doing puppy eyes to Dream and George so they can say yes pffft (which they do...mostly out of confusion(the weirdest kidnapping they've ever experienced))

I like to think once they're all situated, Sapnap seemingly falling asleep first and already snoring, Serpias soon knocking out right after. Only for George to shove Sapnap to stfu, he barely snores why is he being an idiot rn???

"Um....I think Serpias is feeling bad and hasn't been sleeping....? I'm not really sure...but he doesn't really ask to sleep with people unless something is wrong. Usually he just gets in bed with someone whenever he wants, so he doesn't like being lonely," Sapnap instantly regretting revealing something personal about Serpias... something he keeps doing accidently, something that reveals his deeper feelings for the guys (something he doesn't know if he should even have or deserve)

"Oh....okay."

It's all either one of them ever says anytime Sapnap mentions something like this. Sapnap shoving his face into the pillow, feeling wrong and bad now.

Serpias squeezing Sapnap's hand under the covers. Sapnap squeezes back. He hopes everything fixes itself soon (he hopes the cold bad feelings in him leave soon).

Just finished your new storeshifter au and, if I may add to the angst train, how long did it take for Sapnap to eat in the same place as his partners?

I'd assume he would have some trauma surrounding eating/chewing/swallowing near people after everything that happened with Bad and I would bet that sudden change in behavior would be extremely worrying to Karl and Quackity

yes absolutely, it takes a long while for Sapnap to get used to eating around people again after the Bad incident. Hell, he’d probably have a hard time eating. I think he’d play it off to Karl and Quackity as just wanting to eat by himself but then he’d go off and just…not eat.

also i can imagine this happening in the middle period between the fiancés leaving after the Bad incident and them finding the store, so they’re just traversing through the dangerous woods. Yknow, probably the least favorable place to be starving yourself given that you need energy to walk and fight off threats.

(tw for a little talk of fatal vore and digestion here, nothing canon just intrusive thoughts)

I can imagine that Sapnap has a hard time with swallowing anything for a while. He won’t drink anything warm cause it reminds him of his dad’s body heat when he swallowed him. He won’t chew anything because all of a sudden he’s back to the forest in that fight with that bird and it’s his dad that’s getting crunched in his teeth. God forbid he try eating any sort of animal; the first time he tried to eat meat after the incident it wasn’t fully cooked and the blood in his mouth sent him into the worst panic attack of his life.

Worse yet, when he does have a full stomach, the sounds of him digesting his food make him want to sob. Countless times after the incident he had tried to force himself to eat. After all, he was the only one of his trio who could fight, he had to get over himself and stay strong for them. But every time, he’d dream of a scenario where he hadn’t been lucid enough to let his dad out, where he had died within him, and they only sounds he’d woken up to were the gurgles of his own stomach and he couldn’t handle that.

He survives solely on water for as long as a living being can. Karl and Quackity notice him getting weaker, but he pushes off every attempt they make to comfort him. He doesn’t deserve to be comforted. He’s a monster.

Eventually he passes out and Quackity and Karl give him a very stern talking to, and he’s no longer allowed to wander off while they eat cause they want to make sure he’s eating too.

He has a breakdown when they make soup one night because now that he’s with them, instead of it being just his dad, it’s his boyfriends, too. He can almost feel them struggling and screaming, and the warm, full feeling in his stomach when he swallows only makes it worse. He won’t tell them why he can’t eat. They can’t figure it out, but eventually they find things he’ll eat by ruling out what he won’t. Nothing crunchy, nothing warm, no meat. Karl and Quackity begin to stock up on any berries they find, honey when they can come across it, and whatever roots they can easily grind into a smoothie-like mixture just to keep something in his stomach.

It takes a while for him to get over himself, and he probably still can’t properly eat some things, and he regresses a ton when he eats one of his fiancés for the first time (still trying to figure out how that happens but i’ll write it eventually), but after a while of Q and Karl being ok with it and getting more comfortable, he starts to feel better about himself.

I imagine the kids would extra love C!Dream (and probably C!Techno but he's terrible with kids and they know from their own Techno that he gets overwhelmed by people quickly) because he has a big cool cape they can hide under. P!Tommy says he looks like batman

C!Dream builds carves a quick room for nap time in a mountain and when someone goes to check on them they find C!Dream passed out and several kids napping under his cape like baby chicks hiding under their mom's wings

(Okay, also silly ideas: P!Punz pointing at C!Dream super excited because his best friend is gonna be the coolest person in the world, P!Sam trying to put on a brave face and protect C!Dream from other adults when he sees he's uncomfortable, any time any adult gets too angry or shouty the kids will side eye them an ask if they need nap time)

P!Punz being protective of c!Dream for some reason is so funny to me. I imagine p!Dream, p!Punz and p!Sam watch all the superhero movies and stuff including The Avengers and Arrow. So even though they were too young to see c!Dream when he was bleeding out into the table, they still put together a rough picture of what happened (lots of scars like Oliver Queen -> torture). But in general I imagine all kids younger than 13 (ya know PG13 lol) weren’t allowed to see c!Dream until he was properly healed and such, so they didn’t get the download on what happened. C!Dream would still be glaring at c!Phil and c!Techno because they let some of the kids see him so vulnerable and more or less told them everything.

Yeah c!Techno is not good with kids but they think his (backup cape - c!Dream refuses to return the one he left in prison something about finders keepers… damn children encouraging him to use kid logic…) cape and pig appearance is so cool. One afternoon Dream indulges the kids and builds a little bat cave in the mountain next to Ranboo’s house. It’s hard work though and eventually he gets tired and in need of a “batnap” forcing some of the younger ones to join him, they snuggle under the warm cape a little closer than is comfortable for Dream but he falls asleep anyways… it’s the first sleep he’s had in ages without a single nightmare. C!Phil and c!Techno make sure no one pounces on the group, p!Tommy does anyways. Understandably, c!Dream reacts badly to a kid attacking him and his baby chicks and ends up punching p!Tommy, breaking his nose. P!Tommy precedes to whine the rest of the day about how both Dreams are his “abusers”… both Dreams roll their eyes, making p!Tubbo and p!Ranboo giggle.

P!Punz is pretty proud to have great taste of best friends in both worlds. C!Phil points out that c!Punz actually betrayed c!Dream, so p!Punz decides he shall take over his job as c!Dream’s bff. C!Dream finds it cute and his mannerisms make him miss c!Punz.

Both Dreams flinch at the sound of angry adults even if it’s not directed at them. Whenever the adults get angry p!Techno, p!Sapnap and p!George run off and hide while p!Dream stays put, ready but scared. P!Sam and p!Punz both know about p!Dream’s parental abuse in some manner and automatically go into protective mode whenever p!Dream looks even remotely uncomfortable around the adults. And after p!Sam notices c!Dream acting similarly, he starts taking a protective stance for him too. C!Dream finds it sweet even if sometimes his brain conjures imagines of c!Quackity killing p!Sam in seconds just to get to him, other times be thinks about how it should’ve been the his Sam, the Warden, standing over him protecting him…

The storm was howling late into the night. The wind screamed in his ears, swirling in an ungodly hurricane of incomprehensible magnitude by the cliffside. Lightning cracked almost constantly in the starless sky. The trees swayed every which way the strong wind would bend it to its will. Rain fell and soaked through his cloak, yet he did nothing but stand at the very edge of the mountain.

Dream stood motionless, and the ground lay muddy and wet beneath his feet as if the earth itself felt his anguish.

For a moment, it occurred to him that what he's doing is dangerous and beyond careless, but then a part of him seemed to relish at the reminder. Good, it whispered. This is exactly what you need.

It would be quick.

A straight drop from the top of the world.

What would Sapnap think?

He only hesitates for a moment, lets himself indulge at the image of Sapnap's grief stricken face before he finally lets go, letting gravity do its thing as he slowly felt the invisible pull.

"Dream!"

The sudden scream had gone straight through his chest like a knife, drowning out the storm as he felt strong arms pulling him to the safety of the ground.

Then everything went quiet. Dream didn't need to turn around to know what was happening; to see who was there.

Techno had sent the both of them sprawling toward the forest, straight into a puddle of dirt and rainwater. They had landed with a loud thud, but Dream hadn't even felt the sting of sharp rocks grazing his skin. What he had felt was the displaced air, the vacuum that sucked at his cloak as he was physically pulled from imminent death and into the warmth of Techno's solid chest.

"What the hell were you thinking?"

He wanted it all to end.

"I don't know." He lies.

Dream felt Techno's arms tightening around him and if he felt them shake, he doesn't say anything.

"You're an awful liar." He hears Techno whisper next to his ears.

He isn't. Not really. Not when he's practically fooled every single person who used to care about him into thinking he was a monster.

"Never again." Techno tells him. "I don't know why you decided to do what you were about to do, but I'm telling you now I never want this to happen a second time."

Dream wants to laugh at him, at his command, as if he had any say in the matter. But he sort of wants to cry in his arms as well, soaking up all of Techno's warmth.

"Why did you stop me?" He asks him instead, refusing to meet his gaze.

"It could've been over," He was sobbing now. "I could finally put a stop to all of this."

"I don't care about how you feel," Techno nearly shouts, wiping at his tears with gentle hands despite the anger in his voice. "I care even less about who put that thought in your head. I will never never let you fall, Dream. Do you understand me? Never. You cannot die, not by your own hands and certainly not by mine."

bf!sapnap wanted it to be known that you were dating. that you were his, and he was yours. it was a no-brainer for him. he wanted to he able to kiss you in public, let alone go out with you. he wanted to stream with you and show off how amazing you are. but you just weren't ready yet.

you were so sure people would be angry to know he was dating someone rather than be happy you were a good person. you'd heard way too many stories, seen too many situations to think you'd be welcomed with open arms.

and bf!sapnap tried to respect that. but after a few months, it was too much. he wanted to go on dates with you.

"baby?" he asked you softly. you hummed in acknowledgment, looking up from your laptop momentarily. "i wanna tell people about you."

Poor Sapnap isn't doing well, but he has taken care of his wounds as best he can. He's wrapped his cut with strips of his overshirt, and used the rest of it as a sling for his arm. His bandana has been repurposed as a hair tie for a bun, because otherwise his hair (soaked through and wet) clings to his face and neck and it's gross.

Dream tries to strike up conversations pretty often, but Sapnap usually blows him off, or ignores him. He doesn't try and fight, or hurt Dream physically, too afraid for Karl's safety, but that doesn't mean he can't cuss the absolute shit out of Dream.

Sapnap can't do much but sleep and (very rarely) talk to Dream, so he's incredibly bored out of his mind. Sometimes he can hear Dream's plans, when the man is muttering to himself, and sometimes he can hear Dream speaking to someone else (was that...Punz?) but other than that...his life has become very boring.

The worst part is, he can't really exercise, due to his wounds, and the lack of space in Dream's stomach, so he can feel himself becoming weaker and weaker and weaker.

...he doesn't know if he'll ever get out. Sapnap has never known the effects of depression...but now? He was learning.

...he hates it.

So! Those are my thoughts! Poor Sapnap is struggling, oh no. Will he ever manage to escape? Will someone rescue him? Will he re-befriend Dream and get let out? Who knows! For now, tho, he's kinda stuck : D

another hiii. been meaning to send this earlier but got distracted each time i remembered .-.

thinking of both Sapnap and Dream helping each other heal slowly while also at the same time causing guilt in the other to rise because they aren't blind to how the other isn't doing well. And place a lot of the guilt with themselves. and gods i love them.

also: THE CATS. How do the cats react to Sapnap being back :O cant imagine them not having missed him

(also i wrote sth very short (200 words, might get more) for the dark alternative timeline cause insanities.

Gods, Sapnap would be so horrified at spotting the finger, at seeing the wedding band. I could see the same that happened with Dream, repeating with him. Barely eating or sleeping, both due to guilt and more.

and how would they even get dream back after that. cause chances are Q upped his security if Q knows they tried to get Sap while not upholding their end of the deal. so theres a good chance it takes longer than it would have taken to get sap. but maybe also at some point Q does have enough of it and goes the furthest he went before dumping Dream's body outside. Unbeknownst to him, someone's been spying and spots the body. They anxiously make their way over and look inside only to recognise who it is and trying to get him out. He's still alive. Thank gods he's still alive. But barely. They get him further away, inform the rest to get them as they try to prevent too much blood loss. )

So.

It really is a constant. 2 steps forward and one step back with those two. More for Sapnap tbf. Because Dream. Does get better, physically and mentally.

He eats what hes given and having them ration his foods after proving that he can't pace himself. Taste has come back to Dream thankfully, the major depression that Dream was going through has lightened immensely. (Much to the relief of everyone else, especially George)

He willingly allows the Team to drug his drinks and food so he can sleep, he knows it'll relax them and he knows he needs it too (the headache the next morning is well worth having everyone together with him, waking up to Sapnap by his side). Dream has no reason to not give into the the Team's whims on how to take care of him honestly. He enjoys it. Its...nice.

He does wish Sapnap would relish in it too. He's hoping showing Sapnap how much trust and confidence he's giving the Team is evidence that they would take care of Sapnap just as much if he allowed them.

However it really is Sapnap defaulting to listening to Dream for most things. If Dream tells him to eat with him, he'll eat with him. If Dream tells him to let the Team to take care of him he'll allow it (despite the immense guilt and uncomfortable undeserving feelings that still stews within him) . If Dream asks Sapnap if they want to sleep and cuddle for the night, Sapnap's pit in his stomach making him queasy as he watches Dream be drugged (was asked once if he wanted to help and it almost sent him into hyperventilation), but he'll agree anyways. Because Dream asked. He can make it up to Dream. He has to...(and the warmth is nice sometimes. Being selfish is bad so he has to reject it...but if Dream is asking, well he can't deny it..)

Dream tries to communicate more with Sapnap. It is little by little revealed to Sapnap what Q said about him and his immense horror upon realizing that. Q using his own pain and suffering to hurt those he loves. He unreasonably trusted Q and he knows that on a fundamental level but never really wanted to accept it. Because he loves Q. ....Loved...Q....

"You can trust us Sapnap. You know that, right?"

And Sapnap will solemnly nod at Dream. He knows he can. Knows all they're telling him, their sweet words and kind affection. Their over possessive need to keep him so close to cherish, if he would allow them to...That everything is genuine. He /knows/ that. (But can't quite believe it yet)

Dream does recover way faster than Sapnap. Dream's guilt doesn't eat at him like it does Sapnap tbf. Dream also isnt suffering through...Sapnap's anxiety/paranoid thoughts. He has Sapnap back, he knows he can make amends. He can hold Sapnap so close and tell him everyday how much he loves him and never wants him to leave. That no matter what Sapnap does could ever stop Dream from loving him.

"What...what if I /do/ leave again?" (What if I'm bad again?)

Sapnap's voice small and hushed, afraid to learn the truth of certain questions in his head.

"If it makes you truly happy Sapnap. Being away from us. From me. Then you can. And I won't stop loving you even when you're away. Ok?"

Sapnap nods again...clutching the hem of his shirt and trying not to cry.

"T-the guys probably wouldn't let me go anyways..." he'll sniffle. It's a joke though, they both know it.

"I'll sneak you out," Dream will chuckle and pull Sapnap into a hug.

I want to say the cats are actually a huge factor in bringing Sapnap out of his shell again. They're always close to him, very obviously missing him. Sapnap will feel bad he left them behind, rarely thought of them when he was with Q considering everything else that was happening...but he knows he can trust the cats loving him. He knows animals don't lie about their feelings, at least he doesn't think they do? He knows the cats love and missed him!! Taking care of them is probably the only thing he does on his own without being told. Automatically taking over their care (Spreen was the one who mainly took care of the cats needs). It's soothing, the guys learned this is the best time to talk with Sapnap, when he's focusing on giving the cats food or cleaning out the litter box. Sapnap openly chatting again while doing these little chores :> They're fawning over Sapnap and it's the only time Sapnap will chuckle and say hold on he's busy! hold on he's cleaning litter idiot! No kisses until he washed his hand what the heck!! The cats had become very used to the guys and will rub against them and in Sapnap's strange irrational head will concluded that if the cats are being friendly at this moment, then it's safe. He can't get in trouble with the cats. He can't be bad during this. He can love freely during these moments :)

I can see Sapnap not being able to sleep or eat not through the same kind of depression Dream went through. Life was dull for Dream. Sapnap...it's terrifying. Sapnap wasnt doing well before the package but as soon as he opened it, his sanity truly is teetering...I wanna say he's really close to some sort of psychotic break. Food looks like flesh, causing him to vomit before he even had a chance to eat and sleep is full of screams and night terrors. He's constantly afraid of anything and everything. Always seeing Q at the corner of his eyes. Always seeing Dream's cut finger in place of other things, always having to do a double take. Closing his eyes he always sees the last moment he had with Dream. Seeing Dream's pained face before he was knocked out and waking back up with the Team and George....

Always hearing Q's words whispering to him when he's alone for too long. Hearing Q's final threat echoing in his head....Sapnap knowing if he ever returns Q will kill Dream, will shove Sapnap's face in the corpse so he knows exactly what hes done. For Sapnap's betrayal against Q, he's going to take Dream from him. Will do unimaginable things to him. And its all Sapnap's fault. Always imagining the other guys saying the same thing Q always said to him. It's Sapnap's fault. All his /fault/.

Sapnap can't trust his sense and doesn't know what's real or not. Screaming anytime the guys want to touch and comfort him, just imagining Q's suffocating hold. Sapnap is very close to hurting himself just to ground himself.....George not knowing how to take care of Sapnap. All of them in horror by what Q had done to their most cherish and precious person.

There's this little scene I do imagine that despite Sapnap's growing....issues, his brain does force itself to find a Safe Place. Rationalizing that the only true safe place being Rich's office actually. They can't get him there. Q can't get him. Can't drag Sapnap back to show him Dream's mutilated corpse. Rich is the all powerful Don. The monsters can't get him if he's in the office with his Don.....

The first time he goes it's the dead of night and he's knocking on the door hoping Rich will tell him to enter....Rich is always in his office, always always always....but the shadows are creeping in. He can hear Q coming for him.

Before he knows it he's in the office and slamming the door closed. It's just as dark in here as it is in the hallway, empty...the office space still feels too open, he'll be seen if the door is opened and Rich isn't here, where is he? He's always supposed to be here!! Maybe Rich stepped out! He does that sometimes!! But what if someone comes when Rich is out!!! And then Sapnap is under the desk before he knows it.. he's safe there. He'll just hide here until Rich comes back...just until Rich comes back.

He wakes up with a blanket on him but still under the desk..it's bright now he can tell....he spots legs under the desk. It's Rich, it's his Don he's back. He's back and no one can get Sapnap now...

Rich will realize Sapnap woke up when he feels tugging on his pants, looking down and seeing Sapnap clinging to him and weeping. What is he going to do with his precious dog....

Dream is...living a true hell. Torture is not great! Really reduced to Q's punching bag :( I can't imagine how they get Dream back besides what you described TwT Dream being dumped at some harbor. Some place he knows the Team controls, knows that Dream will be found.

Q knowing killing Dream would cause a war that he doesn't think he's fully prepared for. But he's oh so graciously returning the bastard to them, isn't he such a good guy! Yea sure, if they were any later in finding Dream he mightve died, but that would be on them for not keeping better security on their own land heh

It truly is more a message. For the Team. For Sapnap.

They caused this. This is their fault. Dream is like this because of them and Q knows they'll never forget it.

Saving Dream wasn't easy. An ambulance Had to be called they couldn't do this on their own, they didn't have the people in the right places to preform the blood transfusion that Dream desperately needs.

Which unfortunately means only Rich can visit Dream. They may have half the police force under their control but he knows the guys are more than wanted criminals, safe only by Rich's protection and ways of circumventing the laws. But going to such a public place will attract too much attention. So he goes, his right hand man on standby.

Everyone knows Rich is a big mob boss, but he's too untouchable. Most Don's are tbh. (Dream was. But look at him now..) He knows no one unsavory will approach him, so Rich will loosen his tie and be in the hall waiting for a doctor to tell him good news. Something he can tell the boys that will ease everyone. He can't take this loss. No more. They've all been through too much too quickly...

And he'll wait there hours and hours...

all the dreams and how they interact with sapnap little heacannons brewing up in my head :D

For cc!dream its pretty obvious childhood friends to lovers he's loved sapnap for so long without realising the extent of his love that grew past platonic but he refuses to loose him because of his feelings as they continue to grow closer. they do eventually get tgt before all the other dreams show up and afterwards he starts to grow possessive now that he has to share saps attention

c!dream its a little more complicated (i assume this is after the c!dreamnap confrontation) he can't shake the fear he has of sapnap despite their looks being completely different. it helps a little but every time he hears his voice he can't help but shrink away to his room and completely avoid him it takes a lot of coaxing for him Tk finally open up and find healing and this new sapnap that's kind and understanding and do right by his wrongs in some fucked up way by treating sapnap they way his own deserved

Nightmare likes to be cheeky, a lot more confident and forward than cc!dream he liked to fluster sapnap a lot, enjoying how red his face gets at the simplest of touches. he hugs him a lot, kisses his cheek, whispers dirty things in his ears (and maybe he also is fuelled by the jealous looks dream give him from across the room) he feeds off the chaos he creates which includes minor pranks throughout the house

Blob is basically the size of patches and spends a lot of time with the kitties. When he's with sapnap while he's working on his PC he likes to stay on his shoulder, nuzzling into his neck and takes naps in his hair. everytime sapnap sees blob he takes off his hat to let him nestle in his soft hair which is not a privilege he gives most ppl. when they're lying down blob usually stays on his tummy or lap, loving the warmth his body provides

DreamXD is like nightmare but more tame. Unlike cc!dream, cc!sapnap reminds his a lot of c!sapnap but in a positive way, the way he speaks and carries himself. he likes talking to him about random topics, enjoying when he often goes off on tangents about random things. he treats him almost like a pet, petting his head randomly throughout the day or bringing little gifts to see him get excited. he's amused by his actions and can't help but be attached to his human ways

mh!dream is a mix of c!dreams feelings with cc!dreams fear. he's always on high alert around him, keeping a knife that none of them know about at his side incase sap decides to pull a fast one on him. it takes a while for the knoledge that this sapnap isn't here to kill him or hunt him down to sink in and that he can finally rebuild a friendship with his once best friend without the fear of being hunted just like old times
