This is still a work-in-progress. Eventually, I will partially cut out the dragon (I like the way the watercolor turned out for this one, so I want to preserve some of it) and put it into a background with 3D embellishments and other fun stuff.

I plan to do a full-body treatment for all of the dragons from the Dragons of Every Dawn and Dragons of the Twilight Dream images; so far only the Rat and the Serpent are in this partly-finished state. I have Dog, Horse, Tiger, and Rabbit inked and watercolored, but I still need to draw the rest of the zodiacal animals.

I made this with watercolor, Prismacolor pencil, and gold paint pen over a watercolor underpainting, over an ink drawing.

hey guys guess who’s made a new ghost au. any fantasy high enjoyers in the chat (the tumblr)

anyways basic info for said au (which is a fun little thing that was spawned from conversations me and my bsfs @scalpho and @nenekkasa had)

takes place in the modern world in england ish, no magic except for ghosts. bad kids centric because . yeah it’s a fantasy high au so. historical but also we’re not trying to be perfectly historically accurate, we’re just having some fun. we just love some ghosts

gorgug is a guy who’s going to a local college (around 20 yrs old) and his parents have recently bought the creepy abandoned manor because they decided to do a little fixer-upper project on it

while living in the house, our guy gorgug befriends the ghosts of some people who had died on this property!

fabian aramais seacaster: noble from the mid-late 1600s. died in a duel (technically yes but he’s lying a bit about the specifics) in his home. family constructed the manor. early 20s

kristen applebees: townfolk from the mid 1600s. burnt at the stake under the accusation of witchcraft and betraying the church of helio. early 20s

adaine abernant: died of a sudden unknown illness soon after blatantly refusing her family’s expectations of her in the late 1800s. the abernant family had purchased the manor after the seacasters died out. late teens/early 20s

riz gukgak: shot and killed in a gunfight during a detective mission in the 1950s. manor was involved in the case he was investigating. mid 20s

figueroth “fig” faeth: famous rockstar who got too carried away in the addiction that comes with fame. partied in the now-abandoned manor. mid-late 20s.

and now gorgug has to deal with five ghosts that only he can see while also trying to just live his daily life

I have an irrational hatred of Jack Black, and it’s simply because he represents a kind of freedom that women don’t have access to. Put simply, it’s the freedom to be silly and careless.

Jack can go out and about, and on stage, while fat, hairy, and dressed casually, and be applauded for it. It’s his Brand. He can then make funny faces and sing silly songs and not have a care in the world.

Can you imagine if a woman acted like that? The media and the public would be relentlessly shaming her for her weight, body hair, and fashion. She wouldn’t be seen as silly and goofy like Jack is—she’d be seen as an insufferable disgusting slob who’s trying too hard to be funny and relatable. She would be LOATHED.

Whenever I see Jack Black or men like him acting like little boys, I can’t help but think about how they are free in a way that women aren’t. And that makes them painfully annoying to me.

unbelievably funny that when the seven hit their junior year (after, like, a hell of a lot of shenanigans to all remain in school together despite being different ages) arthur aguefort was like "oh you guys want to stick together? yeah i'll tell you about the mystical ged and stop time to take you to my super secret library and yes i'm going to be weird and cryptic about it all because i'm arthur aguefort, like, duh, but i am still ultimately helping you and i think you're soooo cool i'm so proud of you all [sheds a tear]". and with the bad kids he's like "yeah yeah i know you 'saved the world' but you need to get your grades up or i'll expel you. lol."

i know this is basic but "i kiss her and skateboard away" and her whole scene with ayda, and the scene after were emily uses literally everything mechanically available to keep fig from being found out like. thats everything to me. i love figayda and there stumbling mess of the start of their relationship so so much.

i know hilda hilda is so dumb but oh my god the fact that she, as a 15-year-old, would repeatedly go to the hospital pretending to be a doctor and make out with the other doctors. like girl for the love of god
