segmentray replied to your post: I just realized I don’t have any Fatgum-centric ideas in my current writing idea list
Cooking with Fatgum over video call since they’re so far away from each other usually? They can leave the laptops open and talk loudly at each other as they cook, and chaos happens on either end of their call. Not sure what would prompt this though, maybe Fatgum is sponsored by some nice cooking utensil/restaurant chain and Fortune hears about it and gets curious about his thoughts on it, and he goes on and on happily til she decides to try for herself?
@segmentray
The idea of them cooking together is very cute, but I don’t know if I could make a full length fic if it’s just a video call cooking session. And I’d prefer to write something where they’re actually together for whatever reason rather than video calling or on the phone.
Plus, while Fortune’s a pro at cooking, I’m not so I don’t think I could write a whole fic just centered around cooking lol ^^;

You know, if "attempts at performing Andraste's Mabari leave most choir members a sobbing mess", that probably means most members are Fereldans, right? HEHE! Lookit all those enthusiastically musical dog lords!
What if it’s not even a sad song? It’s just about Andraste’s faithful companion, and the Orlesians in the group are like, “Why are you all crying!?”
The Fereldens reply between broken sobs, “W-we *sniffle* just l-love the mabari s-so MU-U-U-U-U-CH!”

I'm going through my dash so I already know the reason why you said this an hour ago and my only reaction is: NO, WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO US, PAST-PETTY! MY DASH WAS MINION-FREE!
You all asked for it in the chat
You are not free of this sin

Hi, Lindsay! Re: that Discworld post you reblogged. Uh, do you happen to know the Mulan one or the robot uprising one? :'D I've been meaning to start Discworld. I'm already planning to read the ones that feature Death.
HELLO FRIEND
re: this post, the mulan one is “monstrous regiment”, and one of the greatest things my eyeballs and ears have ever beheld, and it was the first discworld book I heard the audio of and immediately went back to actually read.
“monstrous regiment” is one of the later books, so some of the plots of the earlier ones will be be spoiled, but imo, and as someone who was spoiled for earlier books by reading/listening to later books first, its just that much more exciting when you finally meet the people for the first time and get to see how they came to be where they were when you first met them. on the other hand, I would personally recommend reading the first two Watch books, because one of the best recurring gags of the Disc is characters not knowing the identity of one of the watch members that is a fantastic reveal in the second book of that series. ANYWAYS.
“monstrous regiment” is a delight, i cannot imagine how it would disappoint you. good times lie ahead.
re: the robot uprising, that is “feet of clay” which is the third book in the Watch series. The watch books are, to my knowledge, the most popular of the all the series, and very very worth your time. “Feet of clay” specifically, is fantastic, for reasons of character development and sneaky bastards being sneaky, and ladieeees.
The Death books are a delight to the soul, my most favourite of them is “soul music” bc rock and roll, which’s summary in the post was “live fast die young musicians do it well (wizards try and fail at doing it well)” by astriferousssss
TL;DR: DISCWORLD WILL IMPROVE YOUR LIFE, HERE IS A HANDY READING ORDER GUIDE, GO FORTH FRIENDS

Is he saying, "What is that number two, son" or "Why is that, number two son"? Like, is there a number two painted on the chest, or is he teasing David back?
at first i thought u were asking me genuinely and i wasn't sure what post i've reblogged recently could've spurned this reaction

I think I have the answer to your lighting on the eyes question! TVTropes does have it; it's called "All in the Eyes." I remembered the site had it cuz it's done to Lucius Malfoy at the end of Chamber of Secrets, and I stumbled across that during a Wiki Walk.
GODS BLESS THANK YOU DEAR

segmentray replied to your post: Do the swap au for Aizawa and Yamada!
Can you imagine at the end of the day, them both complaining that their faces hurt because Aizawa’s not used to using the smiling face muscles so vigorously and widely (for those huge grins and big laughter!) and for Yamada, maybe either his forehead hurts from frowning or scowling, or his face is stiff from deadpanning so much.
@segmentray
LOL  I could definitely see this happening 😂

Nawww!!! This is really super helpful! I've been meaning to watch that but was too lazy to. This is a def push to watch it! Ahhh thank you so much, dearie!!!

I'm sorry, but since I wasn't paying too much attention when scrolling down, I thought the Moby Dick ring box was a tiny plastic toilet. OTL It's an AWESOME RING, though! All these fandom rings swimming around Tumblr... /drools
Ahhhhh poor Moby Dick box... you're not the only person who thought that though. I was looking through the tags on it and at least one other person made that connection too. But yeah, the ring itself if FREAKING AMAZING. If I had +100 bucks to throw around I'd buy it, put it on a chain and wear it as a necklace.
