Session 6 is so tragic:

Mumbo losing both his yellow and red lives to Grian (accidentally)

Lizzie’s death being kind of sort of Joel’s fault (trying to kill Scott in the end, Joel not telling her that he already failed so she was still trying to help him) (also she started on THIRTY hearts ??!?!?!?!!!?!) (and she also had fifteen enderpearls in her hotbar)(wettest cat ever ❤️)

The Canary Curse is broken, Tim still died this session (second out)

Joel’s wife dying and soon after, his best friend dies too (he also failed his task)(I love love love the whole deal with Scott)

Tango’s…. sausage throat (this is a positive but is also tragic)

Just,,,, everything that happened to Joel’s closest people,,, I absolutely adore the angst of him

The only good thing about this session is Cleo’s task, pure gold, 10/10

Summary: Jimmy never knew what happened to bodies after someone losing their final life. A strange glitch allows him to finally know.

If Jimmy broke his curse, I had to write this, just for angst to conflict with the excitement of surviving. So when it happened here… well, Lizzie dying in the void wasn’t going to stop me.

Jimmy can’t help but be ecstatic at the canon shot, after learning what it mean. He live, he lived!

Of course, he’s devastated over Lizzie’s death, she’s his sister after all, but the excitement over not being the first one out clouds over it for now.

He can’t help but cheer, the curse is finally broken! He’s going to live now, can survive!

Jimmy falters when he sees a message from Scott, confusion piercing through his excitement a little.

Smajor1995: Lizzie fell into the void, but something glitched out.

He can’t continue his excitement still, but he heads to spawn anyways, curiosity winning out. When he arrives, he sees Joel on his knees, shaking as he holds something close to him.

“What’s going on?” Jimmy murmurs, equal parts confused and ecstatic still.

Scott looks over at him, “Whatever is in charge here took Lizzie from the voice.” He looks back down at Joel, “I don’t know if it’s normal or not, no one’s died to the void or not.”

Jimmy slowly walks close, horror slowly spreading through him, cutting through all other emotion. There, cradled in Joel’s arms, is Lizzie, body completely limp.

What’s even more horrifying is the creeping marks of the void crawling up her arms and legs. It looks like it’s consuming her.

“W-what?” Jimmy mumbles, voice shaking, unable to say anything else.

He glances at Scott to see realization shift into his eyes, “You don’t know. When someone loses their final life, their body still sticks around, just like this.”

Jimmy’s eyes flicker down to Lizzie, “This- this always happens?”

Scott nods, voice quiet and filled with something Jimmy can’t place, “Every time.”

Jimmy doesn’t know how to respond to that, horror the only emotion on his mind as he stares down at Lizzie, watching Joel cry as he mourns her. He doesn’t even notice others when they arrive.

He can’t imagine how it would be like to be the last one, surrounded by the bodies of everyone.
