We regret to inform you (or maybe we don’t) of the death of Targetina “Targe’” Cartwright, aged 62, who passed away after a long battle with bad decisions.

Known for her red circles and white lies, she once stood as a beloved sanctuary for overpriced home goods, basic-ass apparel, and that one aisle you didn’t need but couldn’t resist.

As someone who started as a beloved asset to capitalism, Targe’ lost her way. After deciding that performative allyship was enough, she made the fatal error of rolling back her DEI commitments and slashing advertising dollars for Black-owned brands. Instead of standing with the communities that built her up, she chose to pander to Republicans. And that, ultimately, is what killed her.

It started with quietly slashing advertising dollars for Black-owned brands. Then came the rollback of diversity initiatives to appease the very conservatives who never liked her in the first place. The final blow? Choosing to side with bigotry over the very communities that made her relevant.

This is a friendly reminder that Target didn’t just roll back DEI in who they hire. They also dropped a lot of Black brands and significantly cut advertising for the few that stayed.They have yet to make amends, and they deserve every bit of that boycott. It doesn’t matter that she’s one of the co supporting the essence music festival in New Orleans, Louisiana… she turned her back on black ppl, and black ppl turned their backs on her.

What a backstabbing little biiitch she has turned into.

She fought DEI. And DEI won.

Gone are the days of pretending she was “different.” Because she was never different. She was just like all the others

She wasn’t.

And now?

She’s done.

She will not be missed.

She will not be mourned.

And she damn sure won’t be forgiven. Not by black folks , not by our genuine allies and definitely not by the lordt

She is survived by half-empty shelves, overpriced candles, and that one confused Pride display she didn’t have the guts to protect.

Let’s be clear: This is a burial, not just a boycott. Target is dead to us. May she burn in hell

Bruce stared for a long moment. Trying to make sure he wasn't going insane or was just very sleep deprived from three days of near no sleep because of a difficult case.

Nope he was still seeing them.

Two children, a toddler and a baby in a baby walker were in the Batcave.... One eating Alfred made cookies while the other was finishing up its bottle. The two seemed at home in the cave and were being watched over by Alfred who looked over at him with a raised eyebrow of 'More children sir?'

Bruce could hear nearly all of his children (one was not with them just yet still upstairs, they needed to take a private phone call it seems) who had come down to the cave for their annual weekly reports and updates all asking him when did he get more kids to bring into the family.

The toddler of the two, a little girl with messy black pigtails and blue eyes noticed him and smiled widely at him, eyes sparkling with toddler mischief as she finished her cookie off and then loudly said "Grandpa B!"

Then with the speed only a sugar upped toddler could do she ran over and crashed into his legs, her little arms wrapping around him as best as she could. The baby had finished his milk, and noticed him as well, making grunting sounds and coo's as he did his best to move his baby walker towards him as well.

Bruce blinked, his mind blanking at what he had been called, as he stared down at the toddler that looked up at him with smile.

Bruce could hear his children all freaking out and he questioned which one of them made him a grandfather and never told him about it!

Bruce got his answer when the one still upstairs in the manor came running down yelling out what had to be the children's names

"Ellie! Dan!"

"Hi Daddy!" came the response from the toddler and a tiny grunt from the baby.

Another thing i did not like about The Old Guard 2 is how much it feels like most of the times it's just like the immortals living in a world where they are the only ones that exist. In the first movie we had so many "extras" in the sense that there were people that were like in a scene or two (the girls in Marrakech andy takes a picture for, the hotel clerk, Nile's friends in the army, the afghan women, the afghan kids they give candies to, the pharmacy girl, the guards that kidnap Joe and Nicky, Merricks guards, the russian pilot, etc) and also like recurring characters (the doctor, Keane) and in general just people that made fhe world feel... real instead of a movie filmed on a set. In the sequel we get the arms dealer guy with faceless guards and a bunch of the guys at the nuclear facility that never speak and most of them have theur face covered almost completely. We don't see Discord's henchmen at all. And so the world feels much smaller than in the first one. It made the movie feel like it was just that, a movie. Filmed on a set marvel style just on a greenscreen. Despite the higher budget and the car chases and the helicopters it feels like the world got much smaller, even when they have to travel it feels like GOT's last seasons. They are in Rimini and they get to booker in Paris is a shot. They presumibly fly to Korea to see Tuah and we never see any of it. I don't know, i'm just dissapointed and sad about this movie
