What about the boys with an alt girl though?
Cw: there are a few physical descriptions used for said alt girls in question but only when it was necessary.
Authors note: This is not self insert and as matter a of fact I’m not even sure why you brought it up! ㋛ She’s lying
F!reader X The CoD boys
Gaz: is dating a fully gothic woman, somewhere between romantic goth and traditional goth. Elvira meets morticia Addams. Not so much a tattoo kinda girl just red lipstick, floor length black dresses with bell sleeves and a corset. Gaz had been mildly afraid of her ever since he caught her talking to a ghost In their kitchen. He’s never noped out of a conversation quicker in his life. He likes to tell people she “speaks in riddles” ie she quotes Edgar Allan Poe sometimes. When they went on holiday he took her to the Cologne Cathedral because who wants to have a relaxing margarita on the beach when you can take your girlfriend to a 600 year old creepy building instead?
Soap: she’s not so much of an alternative girl as she is just a witch. The phrase “stop touching my altar” is probably the most commonly heard sentence in their house. Tattoos, funky hairstyles, hoards of jewelry, long flowing skirts are how just about everyone would describe her. She talks to the moon, Johnny doesn’t really understand why but he does ask “What did she say?” When his sweetheart comes back inside. She has slowly taught him the original folk tales and histories of every holiday, custom and tradition. Johnny has learned that deep down everything is spooky just like his girl. Halloween at their house is THE place to be.
Ghost: big scary man and his Kawaii girlfriend, a tale as old as time. The double takes people do when they go in public together are hilarious. She’s quite literally the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. Of course, their entire house is pastel pink which he really couldn’t care less about. His lovely woman does tend to edit pictures of him to fit her Instagram aesthetic though and he’s not too sure how he feels about the pink glitter filter She uses on every photo. The amount of her pretty pink clothes he’s turned into a mess because he simply doesn’t know how to do laundry correctly is outrageous. She’s had to learn the hard way that Simon just won’t wear the clothes she buys him if they’re pink, he will however take the pink Hello Kitty lunchbox she got him every single day to work.
Price: Similar to Ghost they get funny looks in public but only because what do you mean that heavily tattooed woman is his wife? There are very few parts of her body that aren’t covered, from her neck down to her feet. Kind of an artsy grungy style, overalls and Doc Martens are the usual. The real kicker of it all is how similar their taste in music is, divorced dad rock all the way, baby! That kind of music was made specifically for old men and pretty women with thick eyeliner. John damn near had a heart attack when she just went and got his name tattooed but she just has so many that she didn’t even think twice before getting it done. She’s the kind of girl that says things like “I want your leg bone when you die” with 100% sincerity, John is scared of very little, but the way she says that with a little bit of excitement in her eye is well… a little jarring.

Secret Admirer Pt.2 - choi seung hyun
Tumblr media
Summary | Now that you know who your secret admirer is, the two of you go on a small date.
Pairing | Bully! Choi Seung-hyun x Fem! Reader.
Genre | 2000s school era.
Warnings | Fluff, veeery romantic.
Author's note | English isn't my first language, so I apologize for any spelling mistakes.
Tumblr media
Honestly, you never would’ve expected it. You never thought a few letters could change your perspective so much. But here you were, trapped in thoughts and emotions you didn’t know how to handle. And, strangely, for some reason, it didn’t completely disgust you.
During class, your mind wandered. It was hard to concentrate because every time you could, your eyes would find him. It wasn’t something you were looking for, but it happened inevitably. And though you tried to look away, a part of you stayed focused on him.
You hated to admit it, but you knew the truth: you had fallen for the person who had been sending you letters without you knowing his name. Now that you knew it was Seung-hyun, you refused to accept those feelings. But inside, you knew that denial was costing you more than you wanted to accept.
You decided to talk to your best friend to distract yourself a little, but that didn’t help much either. She, with her mischievous smile, couldn’t help but bring up Seung-hyun, the letters, and the expensive gifts. She was subtly pushing you to take the first step and approach him.
“Come on, girl. I know you’re dying to talk to him and tell him about the letters.”
Mi-eun looked at you with a teasing smile, enjoying your reaction too much.
“Stop it, Mi-eun.” You rolled your eyes, feeling the heat rise in your cheeks. “We’re supposed to not get along. I don’t know why he sent me those letters… He didn’t even seem like the one writing them.”
Mi-eun didn’t insist anymore. She just shared a meaningful look before letting the topic fade. You both waited for class to end, eager to head home and relax.
When the moment finally came, you followed your usual routine. You changed your shoes at the locker and prepared to leave. This time, you were calmer. You didn’t expect more letters or gifts. After all, everyone knew who had been sending them.
But apparently, that didn’t matter to Seung-hyun.
Because there it was. Another letter.
“What? But…” You murmured, confused.
The envelope rested in your locker, untouched, as if it had been waiting for you. With trembling hands, you took it and opened it quickly. This time, the scent was unmistakable. A faint trace of cologne that he always wore.
Your pulse quickened.
Impatiently, your eyes scanned the words written in a familiar handwriting.
“For you, one last time,
I suppose it doesn’t make sense to hide anymore. You know who I am.
I didn’t plan for you to find out this way, but now that you have… I don’t see why I should keep avoiding the inevitable.
I know you probably still don’t understand why I did this. Maybe you think it was a joke or that I’m not the kind of person who would write something like this. But the truth is, every word you’ve read was sincere.
I don’t expect an immediate response. I don’t expect this to change what you think of me overnight. But I want a chance.
If you’re willing to listen, I’ll be waiting for you tomorrow at Cheonggyecheon Park at 6:00 p.m. Just you and me.
If you don’t go, I’ll understand.
But if you do… I promise you won’t regret it.
— Seung-hyun”
Your eyes remained fixed on the letter, your thoughts racing at full speed. You couldn’t stop thinking about how all of this felt so… unreal. The guy you barely ever talked to, the one who annoyed you with his arrogant attitude, was now inviting you out, for a date. And the most surreal part of it all was that, despite everything, a part of you felt an odd excitement as you read his words.
The heat rushed to your cheeks so fast you couldn’t even control it. Your heart was pounding in your chest. You looked around, nervous, afraid someone might see you like this, so exposed. But at least, to your relief, the hallway was practically empty. There was no one left. It was the perfect time to process what you’d just read.
But then, just when you thought you were safe, Mi-eun appeared out of nowhere, her energy overflowing. Without thinking, you grabbed her arm and pulled her toward you, seeking comfort in her presence.
“Mi-eun, he sent me another letter…” you whispered quickly, your heart still in your throat. The paper felt heavy in your hands, as if you were carrying a huge revelation.
“What?!” Mi-eun let out a shriek, making you jump. But you quickly gave her a light tap on the arm, silently asking her to lower her volume. You didn’t want to attract attention, but the excitement on her face left no doubt she was as surprised as you were. “Sorry, sorry. But, another? Didn’t you already know who it was?”
You lowered your head, feeling a whirlwind of emotions. What you felt was confusing. Part of you still couldn’t believe it was him, the guy you’d considered arrogant and annoying so many times. But at the same time, a spark of curiosity grew inside you.
“Yes, but this time…” you stopped for a second, looking at the letter in your hand as if you were searching for an answer in the words written. “He asked me to meet him at Cheonggyecheon Park.”
Mi-eun’s expression changed instantly. Her face lit up with a smile so big you could almost hear it from far away. You knew what that meant. You knew she wouldn’t let it go until you figured it out, and she’d pressure you with questions until you agreed to the date.
“WHAT? Cheonggyecheon Park?” she repeated, her eyes shining with excitement. It was so obvious she was enjoying every second of your confusion.
You looked at the letter again, as if hoping the words would change, that it would all be a joke, but no. It was clear. It was real.
“Yes…” you responded, with a sigh, feeling a mix of uncertainty and excitement taking over you. Mi-eun didn’t take long to start jumping up and down, excited.
“Oh my God! This is epic!” she said, almost shouting at you, as if she were living the situation instead of you.
You covered your face with your hands, though you knew there was no way to hide what you were feeling. Not only because now Seung-hyun knew you knew who he was, but because the date seemed more real than ever.
“Mi-eun… I don’t know if I’m ready for this.” you confessed, a sigh escaping your lips. You knew this would change everything. The letters, the mystery, now everything was about to become much more personal.
Mi-eun looked at you, her eyes gleaming with complicity.
“Ready? Who needs to be ready? You’re going, of course! And you’ll see how all this gets even more interesting.”
You sighed. You knew there was no escape. And even less, because you knew Mi-eun would be your personal stylist tomorrow.
Tumblr media
The next day arrived faster than you expected. With it came the bags of clothes you had bought with Mi-eun the previous afternoon.
You weren’t exactly a fashion expert. Most of your wardrobe consisted of hand-me-downs from your older sisters, which had never bothered you. In your family, there were no unnecessary luxuries or excessive spending on superficial things like brand-name clothing. Your mother had always done everything possible to support the family since your father passed away four years ago, and you never wanted to be an extra burden.
But this time was different. This time, for some reason, you had agreed to buy something just for yourself. And although the idea still felt a little strange, you had to admit it excited you more than you had expected.
"Alright, what do you think of this one?" Mi-eun asked, holding up an outfit with evident satisfaction.
It consisted of a long-sleeved black sweater that left the shoulders bare, a brown plaid skirt that reached just above the knees, elegant black shoes, and a beret in the same color as the skirt. The combination was simple, but it had a sophisticated and feminine air that you would never have chosen for yourself.
"Wow, you really know fashion," you commented with a light laugh, surprised at how well all the pieces fit together.
"Obviously." Mi-eun smiled proudly. "Now try it on, come on."
You didn’t argue and went to the mirror after putting it on. The image your reflection returned left you speechless. You weren’t the type to dress up too much, but you had to admit the outfit suited you better than you imagined.
"What did I tell you?" Mi-eun clicked her tongue, triumphant. "It looks perfect on you. Seung-hyun is going to go crazy when he sees you."
You rolled your eyes, though you couldn’t help but smile.
Time advanced mercilessly, and soon the clock hands marked 5:45 p.m.
"Alright, it’ll be six soon. You’d better head out now," Mi-eun urged, giving you a thumbs-up with an enthusiastic smile. "Good luck!"
You took a deep breath, trying to calm the whirlwind of nerves swirling in your stomach. Finally, you gave your friend one last smile and hurried out of the house, not wanting to risk being late.
Cheonggyecheon Park wasn’t too far away, so you decided to walk instead of taking the bus. The cool evening air brushed against your skin, and with each step, you felt your heart beating harder.
When you arrived, you spotted him immediately. Seung-hyun was already there, standing next to a lit streetlamp, his hands tucked into the pockets of his coat. The soft glow illuminated his face with a warm light, highlighting the gentle features of his face and the deep gleam of his dark eyes. It seemed like he had been waiting for a while because as soon as he saw you, his expression lit up with a mix of relief and admiration, as if his whole body relaxed upon confirming that you had really come.
For a moment, it felt like the entire world went silent. The distant murmur of the city, the footsteps of passersby, even the cold wind sneaking between the streets—all seemed to fade as he looked at you with an intensity that was hard to ignore. His gaze traveled over every detail of your outfit, lingering just a second longer on the beret that matched your skirt, as if engraving the image into his memory. The way his eyes sparkled made heat rise to your cheeks before you could stop it.
"Wow…" he finally murmured, his voice barely a whisper that the wind almost carried away. His lips curved into a lopsided smile, one that couldn’t hide the awe in his expression. "You look beautiful."
The blush on your cheeks deepened. You weren’t used to receiving compliments like that, especially not from someone like him, whose mere presence had the power to make your heart race. You lowered your gaze slightly, playing with the sleeve of your sweater in an attempt to disguise your sudden nervousness. "Thanks," you replied softly, unable to stop a small smile from forming. "You look good too."
And it was true. He was wearing a gray turtleneck sweater, an elegant black coat that gave him a sophisticated air, and dark jeans that accentuated his natural poise. His hair fell slightly over his forehead in that perfect balance between messy and carefully styled, as if it hadn’t taken him much effort to look that good.
Seung-hyun let out a soft laugh, lowering his gaze for a second before looking back at you. There was something in his expression, something sincere and warm that made you feel special. "I’m glad you came," he said honestly. "I was afraid you’d change your mind at the last minute."
"And miss the chance to see you this nervous?" you teased, trying to lighten the tension in your chest, though deep down, you knew you were just as nervous.
He let out a low chuckle and shook his head, amused by your comment. Then, without losing that playful air that characterized him, he took a step closer, reducing the distance between you. The scent of his cologne, a mix of wood and something subtly sweet, immediately enveloped you, making your breathing slow down—a little more conscious of his proximity.
"I don’t want to sound impatient, but…" he raised an eyebrow with a smile that sent a shiver down your spine, "can I hold your hand?"
Your heart skipped a beat. The question was so simple, so innocent in essence, but the way he said it—with that soft tone and expectant gaze—made a chill run down your spine. You didn’t trust your voice, so you simply extended your hand toward him, feeling your fingers tremble slightly.
Seung-hyun took it gently, intertwining his fingers with yours in a warm, secure grip. His touch was firm but not dominant, as if he wanted to make sure you were comfortable, that you wouldn’t let go unless you really wanted to. For a moment, neither of you said anything. You just stayed like that, feeling the light but significant weight of the contact, letting the night move at its own pace.
Finally, he gave your hand a small squeeze and smiled tenderly, tilting his head slightly. "Come on, there’s a place I want to show you."
As you walked together along the sidewalk illuminated by streetlights, the atmosphere took on a special warmth despite the cold night air. Seung-hyun never let go of your hand, and though at first, the contact sent a tingling sensation through your stomach, you soon got used to the comforting feeling of his fingers intertwined with yours. As you walked, the city’s bustle faded into the background, and the sound of your footsteps became the only thing perceptible in that quiet corner.
"Where are you taking me?" you asked curiously, watching his profile as he kept his gaze forward, a faint smile drawn on his lips.
"It's a surprise," he replied with an air of mystery. Then, he turned his face toward you, his eyes shimmering with an amused glint. "I promise it's worth it."
The tone of his voice and the way he looked at you made your heart skip a beat. You didn’t insist any further; you simply let him guide you, enjoying the walk and the slow pace at which you moved forward. Every now and then, his thumb would gently brush the back of your hand—an almost unconscious gesture that sent warmth spreading from your chest to the tips of your fingers.
After a few more minutes of walking, you arrived at a small park hidden between the buildings. It wasn’t luxurious or particularly striking, but it had a special charm. The streetlights cast a soft glow over the stone pathway, and the trees swayed gently with the night breeze. In the center of the park, there was a small, tranquil lake reflecting the starry sky.
"Wow…" you exhaled without realizing it, mesmerized by the view.
Seung-hyun glanced at you out of the corner of his eye with a satisfied expression. "I knew you’d like it. Not many people come here at night, so it’s a good place to find peace… and to share special moments."
His last words made your stomach flutter with a mix of excitement and nervousness. You felt the air grow a little heavier as he, still holding your hand, led you to the edge of the lake. Seung-hyun stopped and, with a smooth yet deliberate motion, turned you slightly so that you were facing him.
"You know…" he began in a low voice, as if afraid of breaking the magic of the moment. "I've been wanting to do this for a while."
Your breathing became erratic. His hands slowly slid to your wrists, his touch firm yet delicate, as if testing how close he could get without startling you. His gaze flickered to your lips for a fleeting second before meeting your eyes again, and your heart pounded so hard you were sure he could hear it too.
"If at any moment you want me to stop…" he left the sentence hanging, giving you the chance to step back if you wished. But you didn’t.
Instead, you raised one hand and placed it on his chest, feeling the rapid beat of his heart beneath the fabric of his sweater. It was just as fast as yours. That gave you the confidence to slowly close your eyes, leaning in just a few centimeters toward him.
He needed no further invitation. Seung-hyun closed the distance with gentle ease, and with a contained sigh, his lips brushed against yours in a slow, warm kiss—filled with emotions that had been held back for too long. The entire world seemed to disappear in that instant. It was just the two of you, with the reflection of the stars in the lake and the cold breeze wrapping around you in a silent embrace.
It was a sweet kiss, unhurried yet full of meaning. His hands traveled up to your face, holding it tenderly as he deepened the kiss with care, as if wanting to etch every second into his memory. And you reciprocated with the same intensity, letting yourself get lost in the feeling of being exactly where you wanted to be.
When you finally pulled apart, your foreheads rested against each other. Seung-hyun smiled softly, his thumb brushing against your cheek.
"Definitely worth the wait," he murmured with a playful smile, making you laugh softly as warmth crept back into your cheeks.
And in that moment, under the starry sky, with his hand still holding yours, you knew that this night would be engraved in your memory forever.

A Sweet Issue
Furina:Aether, I’ve come to you with a problem of sorts…
Aether:One day you’ll come to me with solutions I hope.
Furina:Focus! I’m in a serious bind. I… fancy someone.
Aether:Oh that’s wonderful! Who is it? Clorinde?
Furina:No, I’m her old boss! That would be a little embarrassing.
Aether:Almost everyone was kinda an old employee. Is it Neuvillette?
Furina:Did you just ask me if the person I fancy has been the person I’ve known for centuries?
Aether:In my defense, he’s only recently been more emotionally available.
Furina:It’s not Neuvillette. Frankly that idea sounds disastrous for him specifically. Though he tries to hide it, it’s all too easy to tell how silently misses Focalors when he looks into my eyes.
Aether:…Sh-Should I get Mizuki?
Furina:For the love of- Navia! *red* I fancy her.
Aether:Oooooh. Wait, ooooooh….. that’s a little messy.
He shifts his gaze slightly past Furina to stare at Navia, who stands absolutely frozen with a cupcake inches from her open mouth. Clearly, this situation has gotten more complicated than it was supposed to be.
Aether:This is going to be tough.
Furina:You’re telling me! I’ve been fighting these emotions but recently we’ve been having a lot of one on one time together. I can’t help but feel…safe, happy in her presence. But then I feel so guilty. It was my leadership, or rather my lack of it that cost the lives of her people during the flood.
Aether:Hey now, she doesn’t blame you. Navia understands how rough things were for you.
Navia:*nods aggressively*
Furina:That may be true and while I appreciate it, that doesn’t make this situation less complicated. After all, Navia did reject Clorinde due to their past…
Navia:*tucks in lips*….
Aether:Okay. Counterpoint, you aren’t a lifelong friend that personally murdered her father. Wasn’t even your say to appeal the trial.
Navia:*slouches deeply*
Aether:(Yeah I should really let Mizuki know about potential clients)
Furina:I hear what you’re saying, but I don’t her own feelings are completely divorced from past events.
Aether:Shouldn’t that go the same for you? Like myself, Navia was a very active participant in outing you to the public and making you cry.
The young boss of Spina perked up and flung both arms above her head as if to silently say, “Whose side are you on!?” A very fair question, because Furina was also giving a look of disbelief.
Furina:A little tact would do you good. I know it’s a fair point to bring up but was mentioning me crying really necessary!?
Aether:Sorry. I’m a little off my game today.
Furina:Hmph, to answer your question, I’ve moved past that and you know it. There was so many moving parts to the prophecy that ultimately, what happened was just that; the prophecy. The people of Poisson however, that was no prophecy. It was negligence, a mistake I have to learn to live with and accept. Even as I do, it doesn’t change how others may see it. I’m so happy Navia’s my friend. It’s frankly more than I can ask for. Yet…
Aether:You’re afraid this confession wouldn’t just be rejection, but ruin your friendship too.
Furina:If I’m being honest, the friendship is already in shambles because of me! It’s so flustering talking to her! *blushing* I try acting like myself but she’s just so…amazing! I’m completely head over heels for Navia and it’s ridiculous. Even now, my heart is racing.
Navia:*red* (Why did I have to walk around the corner at the most awkward time!?)
Furina:Anyways, I digress. Do you have any advice? It would really mean a lot to me.
Aether:Ummm. I can’t say how she might feel, but Navia values honesty and sincerity above all else. She’s also definitely one of the kindest people I’ve certainly met, and that’s saying something.
Navia: (Oh great, now everyone is complimenting me!! Maybe I should run, but then I won’t hear anything either!
Aether:You should talk to her. Get it all off your chest. My gut tells me things will be smoother than you suspect. Just have a little faith.
Furina:I was the faith; hard to have it now but I’ll try.
Aether:You pick the worst times to acknowledge you were the people’s deity.
He hugs the troubled girl gently while aggressively shoeing away Navia before she gets caught. She takes the hint and runs away.
Aether:(Oh thank goodness…)
Furina:Alright, enough dillydallying! I’m going to see her! *runs off*
Aether:Wh- Maybe walk slowly! Collect your thoughts! Siiiigh. Well at least there’s a good chance Furina goes to Poisson before checking Fleuve Cendre. Guess that means there’s only one place I should go!
[Hotel Debord]
Aether:*walks into room* Wha- Seriously!?
The girl of the hour was stressing eating her pasties at the coffee table.
Navia:Ah, you’ve arrived!
Aether:I don’t want to be a “witness” to this world anymore. *grabs doorknob*
Navia:Partner, please! I just want to collect my thoughts! Today was supposed to be an errand day!
Aether:…*walks to the bed* I want a cupcake as compensation.

*slaps a messy sketch and some next gens onto your desk and explodes*
got the urge to design some invincible next gens, enjoy ig :P
Tumblr media
heres a familiar face! ive tweaked a couple things w her design and fleshed out her relationship w her family some :]
Vega Grayson Age: 9 (Next Gen Timeline) Parents: Mark Grayson (Indomitable) & Rex Grayson (née Sloan) (Rex Splode) Species: Human (3/4) -Viltrumite (1/4) Hybrid Nickname(s): Vee, Starfire (only by Rex)
Personality:
Bold & Fearless: Vega is never afraid to speak her mind, often surprising adults with her confidence and sharp wit.
Inquisitive: Always asking questions, she wants to understand everything from science to superheroes to why her dad makes weird faces when he’s stressed.
Empathetic: While she has a wild streak, Vega is emotionally perceptive and quick to comfort someone in pain—often before they even realize they need it.
Master of Sass: She inherited Rex’s quick comebacks and Mark’s sarcasm, often combining both into clever humor.
Family Dynamics:
Mark Grayson (Dad): Vega admires Mark’s strength and compassion but isn’t afraid to call him out if he’s being overprotective or mopey. She thinks his superhero name is kinda lame, but secretly loves watching old footage of him.
Rex Grayson (Papa): She’s fiercely attached to Rex, who she shares a mischievous streak with. He’s the parent she confides in when she’s feeling overwhelmed, and she often brags that she has “the coolest Papa in the world.”
Debbie Grayson (Grandma): Vega is extremely close to Debbie, who treats her like a partner in crime. Debbie often jokes that Vega is “too sharp for her own good,” while sneaking her candy.
Nolan Grayson (The Weird Guy Who Never Smiles That Dad Hates): Being that Mark had long since cut contact with Nolan, Vega hasn't officially been introduced to him. However, as luck would have it she bumps into him in the markets of Talescria and is instantly curious when he's chased off by her parents...who is this weirdo and why does everyone from Earth hate him?
Strengths & Interests:
Superhero Obsessed: Vega reads Mark's old Seance Dog comics and has suckered her grandma into buying her tons of toys and sweatshirts.
Fast Learner: Though not as physically powerful as some Viltrumites, she learns at lightning speed—especially when motivated by competition.
Weaknesses:
Impulse Control: Like both her dads, she sometimes leaps before she looks.
Stubborn: Once she believes something, it takes a lot to convince her otherwise, even when she’s clearly wrong.
Distractability: Vega struggles with staying on-task and has to be reminded to pay attention during school and training.
Tumblr media
Roanan the Alien
Age: 11 (Next Gen Timeline) Species: Unopan Hybrid Parents: Allen the Alien & General Telia Homeworld: Talescria (primary), with frequent visits to Earth and Coalition outposts
Personality:
Strategic Mind: Ronan has inherited Telia’s tactical precision and Allen’s analytical mindset. Even in games, he’s the kid planning five steps ahead.
Awkwardly Sincere: Raised by two blunt, duty-driven parents, Ronan speaks his mind in a way that can be a little too honest—but never unkind. He’s working on "tone of voice" with mixed success.
Bookish Adventurer: He devours Coalition mission logs, alien history, and old Earth comic books. He wants to be a hero—but first, he wants to understand everything about what that means.
Loyal to a Fault: He’d walk into a plasma storm for his friends, especially Paulie who he’s fiercely protective of, even when he insists he doesn’t need it.
Family Dynamics:
Allen the Alien (Dad): Allen is Roanan’s emotional anchor. He encourages kindness and individuality, often reminding Roanan that “being a hero is more than just being strong.” They have a shared love of Earth culture and comics.
General Telia (Mom): Telia is a firm but loving figure. She believes in raising Ronan to think critically and lead with honor. Though sometimes intense, she always makes time to talk to him like an equal.
Strengths & Interests:
Tactical Thinking: He’s scary good at strategy games and simulations, often outwitting older kids.
Multilingual: Speaks multiple alien dialects fluently, thanks to Coalition tutoring and his parents’ background.
Curious About Earth: Though he was born on Talescria, Ronan is fascinated by Earth culture, especially music, snacks, and weird idioms he doesn’t fully understand.
Inventive: Loves making things out of spare parts—usually weird, creative devices like “empathy translators” or “friendship shields.”
Weaknesses:
Emotionally Naive: Struggles to process feelings like jealousy, fear, and guilt, and sometimes freezes when emotions run high.
People-Pleaser: Tries hard to make everyone proud—especially his mom—and puts pressure on himself to be “perfect.”
Socially Stiff: He’s not the most graceful in casual settings. He’ll recite Coalition protocols at a birthday party without realizing it’s weird.
Overthinks Everything: Decisions—even small ones—take forever because he’s running every scenario in his head.
Trivia:
His name is a play off of his father's voice actor's (Seth Rogan) last name.
He has two eyes, preferring to keep his smaller one on his forehead closed.
Tumblr media
Paulie Elias Somner
Age: 10 (Next-Gen Timeline) Species: Human Parents: Samantha Eve Wilkins (Atom Eve) & Caelum Somner (Reverie) [OC]
Bio:
Paulie is the introspective, sharp-witted son of two of the most emotionally complex and quietly powerful people in the world. Born into a legacy of heroes, Paulie stands out for one simple but soul-shaping reason: he’s entirely human. No powers, no enhancements, no special abilities. Just Paulie.
But that doesn’t mean he’s ordinary.
Personality:
Paulie is observant and introspective, with a dry sense of humor and a biting wit he uses both as armor and sword. He’s naturally perceptive, often noticing tension before anyone says a word.
Despite his intelligence and emotional maturity, Paulie is deeply conflicted. He harbors quiet resentment over his powerlessness, something he’s internalized as a failing. He loves his parents, but it’s hard not to feel like he missed out on something vital, growing up in the literal and emotional orbit of superpowered beings. He sometimes asks himself if his parents see him as a disappointment, even though they’ve never implied or thought it.
He’s loyal to a fault, protective of those he loves, and much more idealistic than he lets on. A part of him does want to help people like his parents do, but he’s unsure what that looks like for someone without powers. He feels pulled between proving himself and learning to accept himself.
Strengths:
Emotionally intuitive, especially with others in distress
Gifted writer and storyteller—he journals religiously and secretly writes fiction
Unshakable loyalty and resilience—he keeps going, even when he feels lost
Deep empathy, though he hides it behind sarcasm
Weaknesses:
Self-doubt and feelings of inadequacy
Prone to bottling emotions until they erupt
Often pushes people away when he’s hurting
Overcompensates by trying to be the “smartest” in the room
Relationships:
Eve (Mom): Paulie idolizes Eve more than he lets on. They’re similar in their tendency to put others first, but he’s also frustrated by how much of herself she gave up to be a hero. Sometimes he wonders if she regrets not having a "normal" life—and whether he was worth it. Their relationship is tender but full of unspoken questions.
Caelum (Dad): With Caelum, Paulie shares a quiet, layered connection. They understand each other emotionally, often communicating more with looks and silences than words. Caelum is one of the few people Paulie doesn’t feel the need to “perform” for—but he also knows his dad is holding back a lot, which makes Paulie feel like he has to carry the emotional weight sometimes.
Character Arc:
Paulie’s biggest struggle is identity. In a world of powers, legacy, and extraordinary people, he feels like a footnote. He’s not sure where he belongs or what he's meant to do, especially when people constantly expect him to follow in his parents’ footsteps. His journey is one of self-definition—figuring out who he is, not in spite of his lack of powers, but because of it.
Trivia:
He was named after two very important people in Eve's life: her bioligcal mother, Polly, and Dr. Elias Brandyworth.
Inherited his pink irises and love for the color from his grandma Polly.
Loves when his mom tells him stories about her real family; it makes Paulie wish he got to meet them.

oh, rama havenna! and kokuto freaking neji
yesterday, i finally managed to finish winter performance in the game and get closer to the route. since kokuto’s is the one i’ve been aiming at all along, it was only natural to look at oh, rama havenna! through his lens of perception, taking into account his background and his struggles. i know lots of people must’ve broken it down into atoms long ago, so what i’ll say is far from being news, but i’m genuinely so amazed at how much one play was able to tell us about kokuto’s current mental state that i feel the pressing need to take it out of my system on here
by the time the winter performance takes place, quite a few quartz students have started going through the big changes with the purpose of growing and becoming the best version of themselves. those who’ve been doing just fine appear to suffer all of a sudden, too, as they try to comprehend the intricacies of the roles kokuto assigns to them. he’s always been the leader toying with people he loves and pushing them forward in almost an omniscient manner, so no one really questioned his genius, helping each other instead, or asked themselves if he needed this kind of guidance as well. they are slowly but surely clearing the hurdles under him bashing them relentlessly until mitsuki gives it to him straight that compared to everyone else, he doesn’t take his role seriously and isn’t doing enough to grasp and portray it properly. it almost feels like he becomes so insufferable in his omniscience that people finally pay him some heed and rub his nose in what he lacks to be in tune with them—basically doing the thing he needed the most for a long while but could never muster up the courage to ask for
Tumblr media Tumblr media
there’s this small weekend scene when kokuto praises both kisa and kai for taking their roles to a completely different level and mitsuki putting all his emotions into his singing sincerely. this arc shows this side of kokuto to us more than just once, but every time he admires and praises people he loves, he ends up questioning himself and spiraling more and more
oh, rama havenna! is as messy as kokuto’s head, for it’s, in fact, a pool filled with his projections and struggles to the brim. the play is the result of his stream of consciousness, his attempt to understand what might be so wrong with him—the feeling evoked by his friends’ growth and kisa’s real gender—and what he needs to strive for and change in himself on a fundamental level to not be left behind by those who aren’t as reluctant to face the truth, their faults and weaknesses, as him. domina’s role might seem the reason why he struggles at first, but at second thought, him writing this play in the first place is the point that marked the beginning of his personal challenge
it's highly indicative that he dedicates the story to women—someone who he’s been avoidant and afraid of since his father’s death—and shows them as hypocritical and villainous, lying and abhorring. even rukiora who’s supposed to be a paragon of virtue and purity and, better yet, the character he explicitly relates to seems flawed—she’s ready to leave everyone behind for her own good with a man she barely knows—simply because she’s a woman. what i like is that for the time being, kokuto leaves the story, his own story, without any ending whatsoever, hoping that his friends would help him find it together with the answers to all the questions that have been plaguing him his whole life. the mindset he has now is the mindset of the child blinded by the love for his father and abhorrence for the woman who, allegedly, led the former to his grave. that’s about what happened in the past. what happens now, though, is completely different and only proves that his past and his old firm beliefs is what holds him back
Tumblr media Tumblr media
sure, he isn’t slow on the uptake and has a hunch that kisa is a woman. the fact that he doesn’t run away immediately is telling in how he never considered her a threat and never saw her hurt a single soul, but do quite the opposite all this time while in univeil. him having her play chicchi and encouraging her all the way indicates that he’s open to change. he wants her to play chicchi. he wants kisa to show her true self in such a way that will turn his whole world upside down. and as the story goes, its female characters indeed develop into something more just as kisa—who he could’ve hated for actually being a filthy girl—became an indispensable and precious human being to him, the central gear of the machine that is quartz which influenced everyone immensely, in the best possible way at that
needless to say, the very concept of havenna, its people and their lifestyles, gives you the impression that it’s supposed to be the representation of prostitution, even if subtle and inconspicuous on kokuto’s executive part, given how the audience and the greater part of the class treat it as merely quirky and violent at times (which also correlates with kokuto being exposed to adult things at too young an age, being too mature for his age, if emotionally immature at times). this impression is dispelled as soon as chicchi says that all she ever wanted coming to havenna is to be a mugwort seller and kindly puts the burdened priest to sleep, finally helping him feel relieved. it’s also the fact that both rukiora and chicchi, both women have the chance to escape the city with the men who claim to love them, yet end up choosing each other instead, trusting and knowing that this way, they’ll never feel lonely and will never be hurt
the male characters, on the other hand, appear flawed and self-centered, too, as you get to know them better. facchio is the highlight of all of them in a way, truly, for when domina uncovers the truth about his deeds behind the scenes, it does feel as if kokuto himself came to realize that his own father probably did something worth blaming him for, too, and that gender never defines whether you’re a decent person or not
as for rukiora as personification of kokuto’s memories and feelings, some details about her made me chew on the screen
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the flower which she got from fugio and which was later trampled by domina immediately reminded me of the day when kokuto took kisa to the beach and let the petals of the flower she chose for him drown in that beautiful ocean just like his father did
Tumblr media Tumblr media
seeing rukiora wish to leave havenna so desperately without even knowing what might await her on the other side, i also thought about how young kokuto was stained by the pleasure and desire of the adults in his life and all the implications it brought about. whatever and whoever it will be, he’d rather abandon his memories for them, knowing that anything is better than the life he’s had up till now, knowing that it’s the only way for him to move on and forward after watching everyone else around him “ridding of their current form in order to take the shape of a beautiful butterfly” even if it means that “there’s pain and suffering along the process” (these being the words he himself once uttered)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and as a bonus point, i see this scene as him blaming himself for what happened to his family. building his whole personality around his talent which will probably result into him breaking apart in the nearest future since he sees no other value than that in himself
there was a time when i regretted choosing his route as my first one because of how complex and abstruse he is, but seeing this play and sifting through his head afterwards felt so nice... it sure reminded me why he was the one i decided to go for first

Jax is an asshole and does horrible thing but because the show isn’t afraid to punish characters he gets his comeuppance a lot. Episode 4 made me feel sympathy for him because he acts like asshole to his vulnerability and like the rest of the gang.
Kinger is losing his sanity but the memories of his wife and friends keep him from abstractin even though he won’t remember later. Ragatha is nice but like gangle it’s hard to tell when’s she’s being sincere, gangle hides behind her comedy masks but it even when she has a mask that won’t break it still doesn’t work, pomni is losing it but because she’s making connections with the gang it saving her. Zooble is arguably the most sane and rational out of everyone in the group they just hate their body and are just trying find something that right for them.
you can understand why Jax is an asshole, whereas with characters in HH/HB they’re just vicious assholes, just because and it’s funny. Don’t you laugh everytime a character calls moxxie fat or is digusted with fat people? Isn’t it hilarious when a character gets dragged into a sex room and the joke is rape, and none of the other characters care or do anything about it? The best part about Jax being an asshole is that the show absolutely doesn’t let him get away with it. He always loses, except in the pilot. Episode 4 was Jax at his rawest thus and I’m fascinated to know more about him. TADC does an incredible job of being a character driven story, something that HH failed miserably at. I hope next episode is about ragatha and Jax, they fascinate me the most
You nailed it, all of it. Jax is an asshole, it's often played for comedy, but we also see that it hurts him at least as much as it hurts anyone else. He's a fascinating character, like an advent calendar revealing tiny piece by tiny piece, and I can't wait to learn more about what makes him tick.
(And Zooble? They're the most grounded, and it's arguably because they've lost so much of their original identity, which is interesting as hell.)
There's so much you can do when your punchlines aren't "Character is fat/character is raped, laugh!"

I wonder how Outlander Reader interact with Fatui. I am sure that harbingers would see a lot of similarities of Tsaritsa in reader. Especially the way they interact with people despite their cold and detached nature. Like Tsaritsa was described as a gentle soul who has to harden herself and as someone of true sincerity and compassion, but that doesn't mean harbingers won't try to be allies with them for their goals. But how cold reader is, it won't be easy.
However, reader does make deals with them, either for Mora, information, reader won't share too much of their knowledge or powers, but they do share some if necessary.
Oooh, that’s such a rich dynamic. The Outlander Reader interacting with the Fatui—especially the Harbingers—would be tense, sharp-edged, and layered in subtext. You're totally right: the Harbingers would definitely see shades of the Tsaritsa in them, especially if they carry themselves with the same detached gentleness and world-weariness beneath a hardened mask.
Reader’s presence alone would throw them off. A being who speaks little, watches everything, and seems to understand too much for someone who "shouldn't" belong in Teyvat? Yeah, that would rattle even the boldest of the Fatui. Especially when they realize that, despite being outnumbered and supposedly outmatched, the Reader never looks afraid.
Signora might try charm and manipulation first, testing for cracks.
Reader: “You waste your breath trying to seduce the cold.”
Signora: smirks “Not everyone’s heart is frozen, dear. Even ice melts under the right pressure.”
Reader: “Then perhaps you're using the wrong flame.”
Dottore would be obsessed. He’d likely view the Reader as a specimen of impossible adaptation—how do they navigate abyssal, quantum, and divine energies without consequence? He’d want samples, tests, anything to understand.
Reader: “You believe vivisection would teach you something. How primitive. Understanding isn't gained by tearing things apart.”
Dottore: cold grin “On the contrary—it’s where I’ve learned the most.”
Childe would actually like them. Their no-nonsense pragmatism appeals to him. He’d probably try to drag them into battle just to see what they can do.
Childe: “Hey, how ‘bout a friendly spar? You’re giving me the itch to fight.”
Reader: “Only fools itch for war. But I’ll humor you... once.”
Arlecchino though... that’s where it gets interesting. She’d pick up quickly that Reader doesn’t bluff, doesn’t beg, and doesn’t serve. That gains her respect. Out of all the Harbingers, she’d take them the most seriously. She wouldn’t call them ally—not immediately—but she wouldn’t dare call them enemy without thinking ten times over.
They may not like each other. But they'd understand each other.
What makes it all work is that Reader never lies about what they’re doing. They say, clearly, “I will give you information if you give me something of equal worth. I won’t give more. I won’t give less. Don’t ask for more than I offer, or this conversation ends.”
That’s not trust. That’s clarity. And in a group as twisted and power-hungry as the Fatui, clarity is terrifying.
The Reader doesn’t want to be an enemy. But if the Harbingers push too far, make too many demands, or threaten those they've chosen to walk beside (like the Traveler), then... “If I must show you why I am feared, I will. Just once.”

🧡🖤💀
for pathologic ofc
🧡: What is a popular (serious) theory you disagree with?
I have a hard time assessing what is popular. As far as I can tell, anything you’d call a theory is rather unpopular around here. Most people just go with the text and take all the characters at their word. Which honestly baffles me, because the game warns you every chance it gets that everybody’s lying to you all the time.
For example, most people seem to think Aglaya is sincerely in love with Artemy or the player. And, strictly speaking, it doesn’t really change anything whether her feelings are genuine or she’s just manipulating either him or you directly. BUT I feel strongly that her being a master manipulator and all around heartless bitch makes for a better character. Maybe I just find love and affection less interesting than cunning and ambition – especially in women. But when a character is introduced like ‘oh, she’s devilishly smart, she’ll achieve her goals no matter what, she’ll make you do her bidding and you won’t even know it, every thought you have in your head was planted there by her on purpose’ I am going to assume she had you all fooled, sorry.
🖤: Which character is not as morally good as everyone else seems to think?
Lara Ravel. She has a very particular brand of darkness that nobody seems to be talking about. Her deal is that she wants to be a good person. That’s why she always tries to sign up for all these humanitarian efforts like House of the Living, Isolation Ward, testing medicine, working at the Hospital or having water delivered to her house in p2. She romanticizes the idea of being a hero, a beacon of light, of giving away everything she can. “Lara reads too much classic literature” as Daniil puts it. The problem is, she tries. Doesn’t actually go through with any of it. Because she’s a coward.
Bachelor: Are you that afraid of death?
Lara Ravel: Utterly…
She says this on day 10. After you’ve seen her trying to involve herself in events and put herself in danger so many times. After she talks big talk about how she’d totally go and kill Alexander Block. And yet she always lets the circumstances stop her. And now you know why.
Is this too understandable to be a moral failing? People seem to think worse about Daniil for even considering fleeing the town. Or maybe you are mad at us americans for not going against armed police more often to stop a genocide. Or at russians for not overthrowing our warmongering regime yet. Whatever it is, sometimes people should risk their lives. Extraordinary things won’t be achieved without extraordinary effort.
Anyway, I think Lara is my favourite bound. I honestly want to write a separate post about her, especially her p2 story, because it has interesting things added there. Her story is probably the most well written in general, thematically consistent and human. And just plain relatable. We all wish we were Danill Dankovsky. But we all are Lara Ravel. Too afraid of death to make anything of our lives.
💀: If you had to choose one major character to die, who would you choose?
If you think about it, it’s a bit of a plot hole that Aglaya doesn’t try to get rid of all the humbles to make the Changeling's ending impossible. She can’t just execute them without being too obvious about it, but she can plot and scheme to make that happen. Like, what if it was her who gave that gun to Anna on day 9? Would be fun if one of them actually died as the result of this whole thing or even all three of them. Something like that.

Tumblr media
Ten reasons why Riven and Musa are the worst couple in the world, and they are simply contraindicated to be together:
1. As soon as they start dating, Musa suddenly begins to attack Riven over any nonsense.
2. Musa doesn’t care how Riven feels or his internal problems, the only thing that matters to her is what she herself wants. She will blame him for not supporting her, but at the same time she herself is unable to support her boyfriend. And always biased towards Riven
3. Neither Musa nor Riven are capable of dialogue with each other. Riven would benefit from having an understanding partner to discuss problems with, but Musa is the complete opposite of that. She doesn't even try to understand him.
4. Musa has a strange attitude towards her boyfriend, as if he is an enemy from whom you constantly expect a trick. And she seems to imply that he must live in eternal repentance because of his past. And why did she get her Charmix?
Tumblr media
5. Musa easily flirts with Jason Queen, without officially breaking up with Riven. It is only when it turns out that the producer is already in a relationship that she worries whether Riven is angry with her. And she immediately wants to maintain this relationship. From which we can conclude that she needs a relationship in order for her to have one. And for self-affirmation
Tumblr media
6. In the first season, Musa had an unrequited crush on Riven. And she was quite happy with the fact that he was a bad guy. And the most unpleasant thing was that she was stalking. I don't understand people who blame Riven for something, because he didn't have to fall in love with her. And he is not able to read the Musa's thoughts
7. Musa and Riven's relationship brings out the worst in both of them. Since the third season, Musa has exhibited more toxic behavior towards other Winx. This is especially pronounced in season 3, episode 19. She uses Layla to tease Riven and humiliate him in front of everyone.
Tumblr media
Riven in this relationship will most likely become paranoid, afraid of saying or doing something wrong.
8. The most disgusting thing is the solution to the conflict of this couple in the third season. At first, Musa claims that they have nothing for the whole year. And only when he indiscriminately gets into a fight with Nabu, she changes her anger to mercy, rejoicing at the violence, because he fought for her. In season 4, she no longer likes jealousy, and if he had attacked Jason Queen with his fists, she would not have been so happy.
9. Musa gives the impression of a person who will make things up and get offended himself. She could create an image of Riven in her head in the first season and be disappointed in him when she found out the real him.
10. I sincerely don’t understand why they are together. Layla and Musa had more chemistry in season 2 than Riven and Musa. He and Riven should have remained friends. They might have looked good as friends, but not as a couple.
Basically, I analyzed Musa’s behavior, because it was she who gave me negative feelings when watching. I liked Musa until they paired her with Riven

Demonic Class AU
Please rate. I want to know that I didn't try in vain and it makes sense to make content on this AU.
Main character designs:
Tumblr media
Events unfold within the walls of a mysterious school. One day, one of the high school students disappeared, and this event is associated with demons. His younger sister Lily wants to find her brother, her investigations led her to this very school, where she will have to become a new student.
🏵️ Lily 🍩
A new student who is looking for her brother. Her family are demon hunters, but she doesn't want to hunt them herself. She is learning the art of finding a common language with demonic ones, but so far she only has the art of overtaking and driving them away from herself. The blood color is normal.
🪡 Carla 🪛
One of the few students who is not possessed by demons. She stays alone and hates everyone around her. Especially demons. She has perfectly mastered the art of scaring them away. Hates Penny, but is really just afraid of her. She also loves to create Voodoo dolls. They work, just not on a specific victim. She doesn't like to talk about what happened to her eye. The color of blood is green.
🧿 Penny ⚙️
The head of the class and the daughter of the head teacher. Sweet and friendly, but strict. She is suspected of being possessed by demons or having connections with them, but she denies this. However, she does not tell where her red pupil comes from. Tries to make friends with Lily. Perhaps she knows something about her brother. The color of blood is blue.
🎀 Cindy 🌺
The first beauty of the class and the school as a whole. Basically the stereotypical popular girl who loves attention and doesn't like losers, including Lily. In addition, she is possessed by demonic forces and, of course, serves them. He doesn’t know about Lily’s powers and sincerely doesn’t understand why he can’t harm her. The color of blood is pink.
💎 Felix 🥇 and 🐏 Ted 🥈
Twin brothers whose parents sponsor this school. They are both possessed by demonic forces, but only recently, so their abilities are undeveloped. Felix knows how to manipulate Ted. They also both have a crush on Cindy. It's also worth noting that Ted has a horizontal pupil. The color of the blood is blue and unnaturally red, respectively.
📚 Jerome 🪀
Nothing is known about his family, except that he has an older brother. He is a smart student, but most of his time is spent in the library reading books or helping the librarian and students. He also has a key to a secret room, which only he and a few other people have the right to visit. Lily is eager to get there, and she assumes that he knows something about her brother. His connection to demons or ability is unknown. The color of blood is gold.
🩹 Vincent ❔
A student who is usually bullied. He can often be seen next to Jerome, who, however, is also not averse to offending him. Other information about him is unknown, including his involvement with demons. The color of the blood is probably silver.
📼 Billy 🐟
A student who once disappeared. He is Lily's older brother, and when he lived at home, he protected his sister from danger. He's a demon hunter and wanted to teach his sister how to do that. The color of blood is normal.
I don't have my own idea of how to add the rest of the characters here, so I'd appreciate any suggestions.
Bonuses:
Colored version
Tumblr media
Originals:
Oddly enough, I once created Carla and Penny, and then I wanted to draw them. Then I decided to try to create Lily and Cindy, and then it kind of went and now I have AU. And the idea to create Vincent came after I couldn't create Billy to like.

It's time for the Yakuza women, let's go!
Reina is one of the main beauties in all of Kamurocho. The God of Luck himself must have kissed you if you were able to draw her attention to you! I'm betting that you met at her place of work in Serena, intending to down a few glasses of alcohol or stopped by out of interest. Reina always gives you a charming smile and greeting, sincerely rejoicing at your every arrival at her bar, and may even introduce you to Nishikiyama, Yumi and Kiryu if you know her enough to do this. She will encourage you every time you sing karaoke, no matter how that awkwardly and embarrassing it is, the main thing is that you try, don’t be shy, darling! In Kiwami, she will be so assertive that she will even enlist the help of Nishikiyama to keep an eye on you and tell you all the information he finds out about you. This will give Reyna a lot of leverage over you, where she will "subtly" tell you this or that, confusing you, but due to your trust in her, you decide not to pay attention. This carelessness about details stops as soon as you finally see the ring on your finger, indicating that you belong to her, successfully wrapping around your finger. Reyna will never be able to lay a hand on you, but will raise her voice if you argue with her or try to escape from him, but instantly compensates for this by successfully powdering your head with her sweet voice. She, of course, can kidnap you, but if some guys from other clans threaten your life. Reina is well aware from Nishiki of what exactly they do with those who the yakuza do not like or cross the road. How can she allow you to die? No, no, no.
Oh, Makoto Makimura... A rather wounded and tormented flower in this world, completely alone and defenseless: this is approximately the impression this girl made on you. It will take a lot of patience and time to gain her trust due to the hell she has been through. After this, Makoto will dare to tell you about all her experiences and pain, but these will not be just words, no... It will be a real emotional confession, where she will tightly hold you by the sleeve, as if she child seeking protection from a mother who will always accept her as she is. And here it is – as soon as she understands that you never judged, but, on the contrary, supported you, then know that now she will not be able to let you go. If not physically, then mentally. In fact, Makoto doesn’t even realize that with her sincerity and concern, she successfully keeps you with her, where you don’t even dare to admit a single thought about leaving her alone. She always walks next to you, gently holding your hand or the edge of your clothes, wherever you go, but now she is not afraid to fight back to anyone if some scoundrel dares to bother both of you. Makoto loves it when you pamper her or try to do everything for her comfort, but wait! Why are you trying to keep your distance? Don't you understand that your coldness and detachment hurt me? – These words literally torn your mind, making you the perfect prisoner of her desires in an endless sense of guilt and determination to make her happy. Makoto won't kidnap you... It's you'll be the one with her. And this suits her completely... Her reliable protector and the human of her heart.
Yumi is a very gentle woman with a sensitive heart. Before the events of Kiwami, she will be very sweet and naive that you will have to always remind her to remain vigilant, and at this time she looks at you with bewilderment, continuing to chat sweetly with you, ignoring your warnings. She always carefreely dragged you on dates or to work at Serena's to meet the hostess and her best friends, regulars of this bar. But during the events of Kiwami, after many disturbing events, Yumi becomes tougher and more bitter, now being more careful with everyone. Now she has a little daughter in her arms and doesn’t know what to do with herself after the betrayal of her ex-husband, who without hesitation left her for a bigger money fish, which is why she now has huge trust problems. But since you were her acquaintance, Yumi will be able to trust you even by entrusting you with communication with Haruka, which involuntarily warms her heart. It's been quite rare to care since the beginning of the chain of misfortunes, and she has no intention of stopping this warm. Haruka is the perfect reason to keep you around, you wouldn't think of leaving her after everything that poor thing has been through, right? Of course not, that's impossible. There was never a moment when you ignored her child, always giving her attention and protection during her career as an idol. There is already an inevitable chance to contact Kiryu, who also became attached to Haruka as a daughter. And at this point you can insert a painful but interesting trope: there is a possible development of such thoughts in you that Yumi no longer needs you, she already has an old love of hers, since what is the point of bothering her with your presence... This will make her worry a lot , frantically wondering why you suddenly became cold. Did someone offend you? Are you having troubles at work? Is there something wrong with your health? Or you find someone else? And when, after a while, when Yumi finally finds out the real reason for your detachment, all she can do is mentally slap herself in the head. How could she not notice that close contact with Kiryu would affect you so much that you considered yourself unnecessary for her!? She needed to act quickly and decisively burst into your house, reprimand you for such stupidity, already confessing her feelings and that she does not intend to leave you for Kiryu (at that time you stood stunned in your pajamas and embarrassedly listened to her in silence, still shocked by her sudden arrival at night). But it doesn’t matter, one way or another you are already in her hands, hardly having the opportunity to escape. She is yours and this time Yumi intends to prove it with determination, no matter how much you want it.
Since you have problems with such phenomena breaking the law, then Kaoru is here! She is literally one of the most empathetic police officers who always protects you and listens to you no matter what. Mrs. Policewoman also likes to drag you around to many places, especially food service buildings (which suddenly made a date sign for you, for her this is just part of the plan). If you are cold towards her, then “suddenly” it turns out that you are suspected of several serious criminal cases! How so! You don’t want everyone to know about your “crime,” do you? Then listen to your good Mrs. Policeman: she will always listen and help you. It's a completely different story if you actually have problems with the law, such as theft or vandalism. Oh, this is the sweet candy for her, which she will wave in front of your pale face in fear of a face indicating that she has power over you. But if the enemy is much more serious than murder or mercenaryism... Well, be prepared when at one moment suddenly your neck is tightened by the Patriarch of the Omi Alliance with collar of power, her brother. It's not hard for Ryuuji to keep a brash wolf cub like you in line, and even if you fight, he'll quickly "break" the bratty teeth you dared to show him, all in the name of protecting her little sister. So neither the police, nor even the other yakuza will help you, there is no limit to the outcome of the luck of your dangerous and sly Policewoman mission...
(Thank you for all the answers and for taking some time to answer our questions. It's my last images in this time and I won’t burden you until you decide to be active again. Although I'd be lying if I said I'll wait for your next question box opening without tears, haha. Good luck in school 😉)

LET US GO, LESBIANS, LET GO, LOVE YOU ANON, UR ASK ARE IMMACULATE, I WAS SQUEALING BC ALL OF THEM (OR ALL) YAKUZA WOMEN ARE MY CRUSH
The Serena bartender- Reina, her personality is as pretty as her face, her glamorous long black lashes show as she bats her eyes towards you, her cherry colored lipstick pops her beauty, her voice sweet yet mature, a fine lady for the night. Lady Luck’s golden hand must have touched you when night beauty Reina took a deep interest in you and as a move kissed you on your cheek leaving a lingering kiss that left a red mark on your skin which you couldn’t stop touching.
Reina would cherish every moment you visit/are with her, she would make time to be with you if there are many customers, it’s quite obvious that you are a favorite of hers, she would let you taste the newest alcohol or wine she bought, and even decrease your tab, she won’t say it though, she would be very flustered if you ever found out. You might try to convince her not to do such things. She is the kind of person who never misses an opportunity to be close to you, subtle hand holding or she’s too close for your comfort, she would stroke your hand as you talk about your day with your redden booze face. She will heavily encourage you to sing even once, no matter how awkward your voice might be, she will hype you up!
She wouldn’t do anything horrible to you when you’re knocked out on the bar’s coach, she would just be very touchy with you, stroking your hair away from your face and giving light bunny kisses on your hand and nape, causing some lipstick stains on your collar. She would also ask Kiryu or Nishiki to help you carry her to her house because “she doesn’t know where you live” even though that’s completely false, after arriving at her house, she would thank whoever carried you, and bring you to her bed and wipe your body with a clean towel as you sleep, she would treasure each moment she does, she would find many scars from your past or maybe new one if you were a yakuza like Kiryu and Nishiki. She would then watch you sleep then sleep while sitting beside you.
She would also let you taste all of the wine and alcohol she has, so she can find what your ideal liking after she would keep the glass you were using a keep it hidden so at the end of the night she will pour herself a glass with the one you liked the most and put her cherry lips on the same place as where your lips were.
Now at Kiwami, Reina would be the same but more rough and tense when it comes to you, assertive even like you said anon. She would ask Nishiki or hell Nishiki would ask Reina if she needs help keeping you on a leash, if you are a Yakuza she would ask Nishiki to let you be a part of his family, Nishiki would agree after having a long talk with her, Nishiki would agree because he feels like Reina I now the only person he can protect, you know the drill with Kiwami Nishiki. She would isolate you from a lot of people too, she’s way paranoid, scared even, she worries over you like a mother, she would feed lies and rumors to you around the people she seems like they would put you in danger, a snowball effect to be exact.
She will make sure that you live a comfortable life and she’s also very determined to put a ring on your finger. She may never raise her hand on you but will use her voice to put some “logic” on your head, many years of being a bartender let her know many people and buttery words to convince people. She will kidnap you with the help of Nishiki or she will put a heavy sleeping drug on your drink so she will carry you to her house or ask one of Nishiki’s goons to help if you even try to leave married or not, just one dial from Nishiki then you’ll see them at your hiding spot and bring you back to Reina’s warm “embrace”. . .
If a wilting and broken flower because of the horrors of this world-Makoto would be the personification of it. The eyes are the window to the soul so no wonder why her eyes are as clear as the tears she weep like the ocean. Her skin is still soft yet rough after many years of abuse, Makoto flinches whenever someone even tries to touch her, memories from the past hunt her, and her voice weak from the constant scream for help. But after all the hell she went through, the universe finally gave her something. You are her saving grace, you are there when she needs a hand to hold, yes it took time for her to open up, or in other words, open up the wound she is trying to heal just for you. Opening such a bloody wound would make anyone cry, so that's why she was sobbing and clinging to you when she opened up to you, even though you kept on telling her that she didn't need to tell you, but she insisted on telling you that "you deserve to know it after being with me." So after that, she opened her heart to you. You can't refuse Makoto when after all of that she confessed her love for you.
Makoto doesn't know the growing obsessiveness or heck the intense dependency for you, the reason she cries every night when she thinks about how you're going to leave her someday you have to comfort her that you wouldn't even THINK of such thing as you've promised that you'll never leave her! But make sure that you keep your promise, after all, two people look after her-Tetsu and Majima they both deeply care for Makoto and if they even see a single frown even worse, tears forming on the corners of her eyes, they aren't going to hesitate to talk to you. Tetsu would blackmail you to stay with her and treat her like she's the only important thing in the world, while Majima will say quite the same thing but he won't hesitate to punch you if you even say a single mean thing about her. Both deeply care for her so make sure that you are not an "all bark" but "no bite" kinda person.
Makoto (like you said won't kidnap you) but will keep you with her by unconsciously guilt-tripping you, making you feel guilty and uncomfortable about wanting to leave her side even without realizing it. She likes to spend her time walking with you as you both hold hands as you feed Makoto newly bought takoyaki (which you blew first, you don't want to hurt her the slightest) as you both enjoy the food after that making a promise to Makoto that you will never leave her no matter what, be a person of your word dear (Y/N). . .
Yumi WAS a sensitive-hearted woman, she was soft and energetic. If you are having a bad day you can just see her and immediately have fun, you will be extremely at ease when you are with her, she will cling to your arm as she asks about today while she gives you your drink. You always try your best to tell her that she needs to be safer after all, two hotshot Yakuzas Kiryu and Nishiki have their eyes on her, but she will only shrug it off, hey how about you sing in the karaoke! Yumi will always ask to take her out on a date, just imagine how romantic it will be! You give her ice cream as you both watch the fireworks release in the night sky and both of you kiss- such daydreaming will stop if Reina shakes her to do her job. Yumi is also delusional about every single thing you do, she will consider it as a romantic gesture mixed with her being a daydreamer. Do you open up the door for her? Is this your first move on her?! Are you telling the old creep who was touching her way too weirdly to buzz off? Then you must be jealous, don’t worry she’s all yours! She would also spread some rumors that both of you guys are dating and if you guys are in public she will give you subtle kisses on your cheek, she's just a girl in love.
After blood was spilled because of her, Yumi became on her guard protecting herself from Haruka no matter what, like you said anon, she won't be the same girl as ten years ago, she's not the naive young woman she was, her ex-husband's betrayal was the nail on the coffin for the huge trust issues that are going to grow even bigger, but if you both met again pre-Kiwami, she will first make sure that you aren't going to betray her in any way for her sake as well as yours. But once she knows that you weren't here to betray her, she will bawl in your arms, several years of bottled-up emotion bursting, which made you cry too. After all, it's been years since you met Yumi, your friend.
She will tell you about Haruka and the fact that she has to pretend that she's her aunt and not her mother, and it was harsh to hear that so then visit Haruka to spend time with your "niece", you will tell her many stories about her "mom" without telling the name, you tell Haruka how much her mom misses her and if they were in a different circumstance then she will give Haruka all of the love that she needed and with that you and Haruka became close, heck whenever Yumi visits Haruka, Haruka will ramble about you to her, melting her heart that you said many good things to her and that Haruka took a liking towards you, she would even tell you what Haruka said about you to be with her.
After that, she will ask or even beg Kazama to let her monitor you or even let her keep you, especially when you were also a part of the Serena squad, and since Kazama sees how miserable Yumi is, he will agree giving Yumi any kind of information about you, on the palm of her hands, but if there are many people or Nishiki's goons are on her tail, she will forcefully drag you out of your house saying that "you too are in danger" and that if something happens to you she won't forgive herself, she will not be able to rest until you are safe. Even if it's just an empty threat, she believes with all her might that anything that happens to you will be her fault. Yumi is the definition of overprotective.
But AFTER the event of Kiwami and her finally reuniting with Kazuma, you will slowly drift away from her radars, maybe you moved to the next city or any city because you might think that Yumi wouldn't need you anymore since Kiryu is now her, a real strong person that can protect Yumi, so even as bittersweet it is, you left Kamurocho and didn't even say goodbye to Yumi, scared that you might distract her from her bonding with the man she loved (in your eyes you thought that Yumi was in love with Kazuma) and her daughter. If you were lucky and didn't get caught by her leaving Kamurocho then say hello to your short-lived paradise before she captures you. But when she noticed and heard about your friends talking about you leaving and hearing the information, she would overthink so many scenarios. Were you leaving because you found out that Nishiki's goons weren't coming after you? Or were you leaving because you found the things that she will do to keep you with her? No, no, NO. Each day trying to contact you makes her go insane. Are you safe? Are you eating well? Or worse, maybe you're in the streets right now bloodied up?! She doesn't understand why you would ever be in these conditions, you are the one who saved her life, who gave her hope, she loves you so much, please come back, come back to me, come back… In the end, she was left alone, abandoned, completely forgotten, and unable to sleep. The purple eye bags under her eyes showed it all.
But when she somehow finds out the reason for your leaving, she will just scream at herself for being so…so… darn ignorant! Of course, you will feel that way. So after finding you after blackmailing your friends, she will immediately hurry to your apartment and open your door by using a spare key, (she knows where you keep your spare keys, like under your rug or your pot) and in the middle of the night she'll make you spit the water you were drinking as she comes towards you in usain bolt style, as she rambles of how stupid she was as your dumbfounded while in your pajamas, how the hell did she even find you? HECK EVEN OPEN YOU DOOR? You must hear her out, she only has eyes for you, so please don't drive her insane like a madman.
The beauty and brain herself knows the power imbalance she has on you, the golden badge she has on her chest shows it all. Maybe you made her take an interest in you if you were related to any of her cases and one of her tasks was to keep a keen eye on you, at first when denied harshly wanting to go to the bigger and more interesting parts of the case, but her boss made her do it, so now there she was practically spying on you, it was such lame job, but slowly she is attracted to you, she notice your small and big habits, like how you feed the nearby stray cats and dogs when you have your salary or whenever your nervous your voice becomes more serious, she doesn't know what it was yet she knew that it was bad for her position, especially you might be related to the criminal, but at the end she found nothing and when the case was over and they found the criminal, her boss told Kaoru to stop her job yet she felt well…nothing…
She would play with her food as she day-dreams of what you are doing at this hour, you were probably with your co-workers hanging out as you laugh at their horrible jokes, yet she likes the way you laugh but feels a certain disdain feeling that you were laughing with someone other than her..wait. What?! What the hell was she thinking and why did she order and buy the same food you always buy at the convenience store as her lunch today? Something's wrong with her!
Kaoru lay motionless on her bed as she deeply thought about what was happening to her, and before she even knew it she took the cellphone she had that she tapped your cell phone with so she couldn't listen to your previous calls today and Kaoru then feels it again when she heard your voice her face burns and melted with a soft smile as you told you friends about your day and were you are going tomorrow as a weekend rest. Kaoru is a fast thinker so she knew that this was her chance to meet up with you and introduce herself and let you know her (she already KNOWS a lot about you alright). She may be a fast thinker but she's an overthinker as well, she will wear clothes that you mentioned to your friends that made "anyone gorgeous, and that night she made many scenarios of what to talk to you about.
Skip to a few months and both you and Kaoru are close, she will come to you and ask you to hangout, while you will reply yes and she will feel her heart beat fast, her mouth is dry due to excitement, and she starts to think of possible ways to bring you together, she may be a bad-ass woman but she when you enter the room all people can see is a woman who has no wooing skills many of her co-workers will hype both of you guys!
But Kaoru is a police officer who has the power to keep track of you, and wherever you go, she will see you interact with your friends as she listens to your guys' conversation on the hidden mic on your coat. Kaoru would also put CCTV in your own house. Kaoru knows that what she's feeling isn't normal and the power imbalance you both have is unhealthy yet if she feels like she needs control over you. If you were a delinquent she would use that as blackmail for the new paying job you were hired for, but if you did something much worse things like murder or some kind of accomplice to a crime, then she has more power over you. But if your record is straight then you free to go but not your close ones, what happens if you're brother is a young gangster who had a reckless history or your closest friend is selling drugs, your family and your close ones are at stake you know, just one show of her badge or a piece of forced evidence then it's (ever) over for them and you.
The only way for that to not happen? For you to stay with her but if you agree then she would call her brother to take care of an "untrained pup" of her. If your family was untouchable in her status she could always depend on her brother to bring them down, you will spend many hours with Ryuji as he screams at you like a military commander of your personality, her sister should only deserve the best of attitude!
As you walk robotically with Kaoru clinging to your side, you see in the corner of your eyes, fellow Omi alliance badges watching you carefully waiting for you to fuck up so they can tell their boss. Kaoru drags you to a food stall, and after you finish your food, Kaoru cups your hand with her soft hands as she kisses you on your cheek, Kaoru knows that she will have you and will keep you on a leash no matter what you do….
AND THANK YOU ANON FOR SENDING ME ALL OF YOUR ASK, T WAS AMAZING TO WRITE THEM HECK MOST OF THEM ACTUALLY GAVE ME A LOT OF IDEAS!! ONCE I'M NOT BUSY AND DON'T HAVE WRITER'S BLOCK I'M READY TO OPEN MY ASK OR MY REQUEST BOX EVEN!! LOVE YA ANONNIE ヾ(≧▽≦*)o`(*>﹏<*)′

these r fun so i will do more. request things and i’ll do them lol.
helluva boss characters’ reactions to their s/o saying “i love you” for the first time! i’ll make more in the future if you all like this one.
blitzø:
“oh. um. you said what now?”
doesn’t know how to handle this. this poor guy believes he is ultimately worthless and undeserving of anything positive. so you saying this… was a surprise, to say the least.
it takes him a minute, but he does say it back. it makes him tear up a little. he really isn’t used to this, but it’s okay, because you can learn together!
stolas:
omgomgomgomg he is SO HAPPY.
he literally freaks out for about five minutes before actually returning to his senses and saying it back.
“did you just say what— you— well— ahem. i love you too, dearest.”
this man’s face is so red the entire time. it’s actually pretty endearing. he’s craved love forever, since he never got it from his arranged marriage, so by god is he eating your words up rn.
striker:
*blinks*
“…how and why?”
yeah, so it takes a minute to settle in. striker is sort of absorbed in his bad boy aesthetic and therefore believes everyone would be afraid of him, or expect him to he invulnerable. he’s actually relieved that you said it first, because now he can drop the facade and actually be with you.
“well, i’ll be a son of a gun, sweet pea. you’ve got some interesting tastes. i share the sentiment, though.”
you’d better believe the hat is comin off for the cowboy hat-hidden kiss.
it takes him a little to learn how to say it back. he’s still sort of stuck in that cold exterior. but you can warm him up no problem!
stella:
(seriously): “it’ll pass.”
moxxie:
“OMGILOVEYOUTOO. I DIDN’T THINK I’D HEAR YOU SAY IT, BUT YOU’RE SAYING IT, AND I’M JUST SO HAPPY, I JUST-“
he’s going to go on a lil ramble because he is so elated. he might even sing about it.
he gives you a kiss on your cheek and smiles ecstatically. “i love you too, so, so much.”
he is so sincere with it. so in love.
millie:
“well, i love you too, baby!”
she’ll kiss you and hold you super close, probably going in for a nice cuddle sesh.
she is really happy that you said it, even if she seems casual at the time.
she feels like she found the right person and wants to settle down with you in the future, but tries not to get too carried away with that thought.
loona:
she acts like it isn’t a big deal and says it back nonchalantly, but it is. a big ass deal.
loona grew up having no one to love her, no one to care about her; she was viewed as a pet to be sold and treated with no respect.
until blitz took her in, and even then, we see how she acts around blitz. she believes she’s undeserving of the parental love he provides her, so it would be the same scenario with romantic love.
overtime, she’d probably start to understand how to handle it. but the first time her s/o says it, she probably cries when no one is looking.
chaz:
alr we know this guy is a fuck boy but he did date both moxxie and millie, so i think he does know how to love? just not well.
probably feels like a jackass deep down for screwing them both over the way he did, especially moxxie. he probably thinks he’s not worthy of being trusted by someone again, so he just hides it all beneath the f boi attitude.
however, when you say it, his entire demeanor shifts for a second. at first, he doesn’t believe he heard you correctly. then you say it again, and he visibly just. softens? like he doesn’t feel the need to act like a total idiot for once?
“i, uh… i love you too, babes!” and then the f boi attitude returns after that small moment of shock. he’s like, “i knew you’d say it at some point, who could resist me?”
verosika:
she would be a little stunned. she’s a succubus, after all; she feeds off of lust, not love. it’s not a concept she’s familiar with.
she’d look at you very flirtatiously, as if you just said some sort of magic words she’d been hoping to hear from someone one day (even if she’d never admit it.)
“love you too. let’s go to a club.”
y’all get crunk and make out, the end <3

you know what it is. spoilers underneath the cut. also minimal proofreading.
“Where were you, Y/N?!” Mariya is the first one to scowl, no, cry as soon as she sees you appear from around the corner, happily chatting along with your companion which she could really care less about right now, as she stomped her way towards you.
“I thought you were only going to thank him?!” Followed by Mariya, Hitomi shrieks. And of course…
“Did he keep you captive? Against your will?!” It was now Haruko’s turn to fret, acting as if Naoya wasn’t literally right there, listening to your staff anxiously worry about your state, in such an exaggerated way it reminded him of a scolding mother catching their child right in the middle of the act.
Normally, he would’ve immediately put them in their place for making such brazen accusations against his persona, or simply for ignoring him…
But he finds it much more entertaining to see the frantic way you’d try to explain your absence or acknowledge that you’re being well taken care of.
“It’s nothing like that!” you gasp, conflicted on whether to be embarrassed by their overwhelming approach, or their dismissive behavior towards Naoya. “Please, calm down.”
“Then what is it?” Mariya frowns. “You disappeared without a trace that not even other staff members knew where you were! And you want us to calm down?!”
“You better have a good excuse, Y/N.” Hitomi says, and understanding where their worries came from, you swallow.
After all, they’ve spent most of their efforts trying to keep you away from the man you’d effectively spent your whole afternoon with—only for you to throw caution to the wind and ignore their worries, and even ask them to behave as if they had a long list of past experiences to do so.
In your defense, it wasn’t intentional. You didn’t mean to spend as much time as you did with Naoya, helping him out with his paperwork, going to the stables and to the nearby lake, or eating dinner with him. It simply happened, although greatly influenced because of his unexpected change of heart.
Which leads you to their defense, an ignorance that grew from your incessant desire to keep secrets from them—perhaps because you were afraid they’d reproach you, just as they were somewhat doing now, or because you had yet to come to terms with your own feelings.
Either way, you shouldn’t dwell much on the past in this precise moment, not when your ladies were going on and on about how they were literally worried sick due to your absence, Junko’s seeming  ignorance (a ploy to have the heir and his lady finally behave like the married couple they were, all for the sake of the clan) and why you weren’t telling them anything, or at least—
“Inform us.” Mariya says. “What if something happens to you and we don’t know where you are??”
To that, you agree.
“…I know, it’s just that… I guess time went by faster than I expected.” You explain. “But really, I’m fine. Nothing happened, I just—”
“She just helped me do some paperwork.” Naoya intervenes, feeling the weight of his words to be needed—and it’s up to this moment that the staff finally bother to acknowledge him. “We took a break and got something to eat. Nothing more.”
Mariya is the first one to doubt his words—but he doesn’t seek to verify them through him, obviously not after all that happened in the past.
Instead, she stares back at you, with a piercing gaze that intends to find any trace of deceit in your nervous eyes…
Or sincerity, just as you nodded in accordance, much to everyone’s surprise.
“It was… just that.” You added, noting the particular exclusion of mentioning the lake, perhaps because this would make them freak out even more, and deciding to go along with it. Besides, Haruko already fainted 4 times in a row, or at least in her mind she did. “…Really.”
“…Well, it’s time for you to head back to your chambers, Y/N. It’s getting late and we have a long day tomorrow if we’re to make up for everything we left behind today” Is all that Mariya says amid her shock before gently placing her hand behind your back and starting to sway you in direction of the living quarters, with Haruko and Hitomi following suit, keeping a close reproving eye on Naoya as you couldn’t do anything else but struggle, contesting their will.
“Wait, Mariya!” you breathe, doing your best to at least turn around and give Naoya one last glance—it just didn’t feel right to leave after the wonderful evening he gave you, but all you could  do is mouth a sincere “I’m sorry.” as you were led away.
Naoya gives you a tight smile in response, as if telling you to not worry, before bidding you a good night and retreating as well.
And the rest of the night would continue on uneventfully, as the Zen’in estate often went, with the chirpy chatters of your staff retelling their occupations for the day once the fright of your absence cooled down, while you intently listened to them, quietly admiring the lengths of your ignorance, or the bickers of their  push-and-pull dynamic.
But there would be one that broke the mold when it came to these interactions, greatly isolated in her own thoughts, repeatedly going over and over again her actions as she judged that perhaps she had overreacted to your disappearance, and if there had been any danger she would’ve been the first to know so—undoubtedly.
Yet, Mariya couldn’t remove that persistent symptom on her chest—a burdening weight that made even the basics of actions such as breathing a herculean effort, worthy of divine praise, but not of her concern.
«It’s just stress» She’d console herself once her duties were done, resting underneath your warm covers and the sisters in their rooms. «literally worried sick because of Y/N.»
Any indication that Mariya had given this irritation a second thought was eradicated once she got onto her futon, believing instead that a new day would come and everything would start anew.
But that is something that she shouldn’t take as given, not even when the promise of the sun coming out was as palpable as the sheets underneath her hands, for fate is always unpredictable, and if there’s something to be well remembered, is that everything happens on the least expected timeframes.
Mariya is bound to find out soon enough.

It’s not that she was afraid of what the man would say. Hashirama was firm that there was no other way and Madara supported him with, although sexist, very accurate comments due to the type of culture they manage. Of course, she has had her problems before regarding this, but still...
It was the only thing that could be done without breaking that diplomatic bond between both sides.
She gulps thickly. She hasn’t slept well and now, arriving that afternoon, she sees the tension in her muscles.
She snorts indignantly. Karen feels it’s unfair that they’re forcing her to put on this theatre when she didn’t ask for it, so she adjusts her best face as she enters the spot where a bitter Tobirama is waiting for them. “You shouldn’t be up,” she frowns, forgetting and holding back the information of their alleged engagement.
She doesn’t like confronting these things and it is easier to present a report to the council than to show that this affects her.
“I am stronger,” the bitter shinobi frowns to see beyond her. “Hashirama and Madara?”
“They stayed checking the road,” she shrugs gently. “Madara was going to his clan and then come for Izuna.”
“The idiot is already gone.”
“Uh... he didn’t tell.”
“No, he just left.”
“Did you let him go?”
“Yes.”
“Tobirama, he is hurt, like you. Why did you let him go?”
“We are not like you. We have different healing periods, and we were in bed long enough.”
“Seriously...” the girl huffs indignantly to look at an embarrassed Masarato ready to leave. “If you faint or your wounds open, I will rub it in your face.”
“Mph...” the man turns his eyes, not willing to look further in her direction. “How did it go?”
“Apart from the Daimyo’s flirting... good.”
“He did not do anything to you?” he asks harshly.
“No,” she sighs, not knowing how to approach this. “But it was annoying.” Better to be sincere since he’ll find out anyway.
Tobirama looks at her for a long time.
“I’m fine. Hashirama was backing me up.”
“Nothing else happened?” he says with a double tone that she doesn’t completely understand.
“No, we managed to keep the proposal to the maximum, although I had unexpected visitors.”
“...”
“Don’t worry, I took care of it. Though...” She looks around as if waiting for someone to interrupt her comment. “Something happened that involves you,” she states as if she didn’t want to. She may be an adult, but this matter is complicated to deal with.
How could she tell him that his brother practically threw him into being her fiancé just to back up a lie that they clearly must maintain?
But it had to be said. It was either her or Hashirama.
The gesture he made was funny. She would laugh if it weren’t for the fact that she felt internally insulted. She knew she wasn’t pretty, but... why was there so much hatred in his eyes?
──
She doesn’t know what has happened. Hashirama sends scrolls to the house just after she is beginning to resume her routine. The days are quiet, away from the political tension and the move. She sees how people run through the place with hustle and bustle because of the new space they will occupy as soon as everything is settled.
Numbers, contributions and contracts. Those are the ones that constantly abound.
Karen still feels that something is happening far from her ears, and she has not heard anything about her supposed marriage.
“Neesan.” A small boy who barely says a couple of words makes her focus on the present. She smiles when she sees little Matsuo extend his hand to her.
For someone who has been around for a year, he is active, intelligent and attentive.
A true prodigy.
“Hello, Matsuo,” she laughs as she turns him around. His mother still shares a funny look at the pair who meet again after a day.
“As if they haven’t seen each other for a long time,” the woman mocks, continuing with her work. Kaori comes behind while they keep packing some of the things that they will begin to accumulate far from the house. The wood is extensive, the rooms begin to empty.
And soon, Hashirama will transform all this into a lush forest.
Like a plan to erase any indication that the Senju clan was here.
She chuckles just as she puts him down and lets him play a little. “How are you doing?” she asks, sitting down to review the scrolls. Grandma Kaori sits next to her while Mikami does the same for the other.
They both have problems letting go of the past. Kaori more so, as literally her entire life was at this place.
“Many do not want to leave,” the old woman assures. “But we are willing to clear up a place for future generations.”
“I’m glad to hear that,” Karen smiles, patting the old woman’s back. “I hope you can move on. I know it’s painful.”
“It is, but it is the price for the change, right?” she laughs hopefully at something that only she knows. “I knew that young Hashirama-sama would make improvements, but this... stopping the war, moving with our allies...” With a proud tone, she looks into the distance. “Their mother would be happy with what her children have achieved.”
Karen had not heard Kaori speak in that manner.
“Matsuo... he will have a good home,” the woman assures. “They have brought us together to have arrange the spaces within the blueprints of the compound,” she clumsily adds since the last words are new in her vocabulary.
“Yes, I helped a little with the original blueprint.” She admits that, although clumsily, she managed to make the base that the infamous Tobirama has improved. She knows the man and envies his ability to comprehend the little she understands of her world and architecture, and he absorbs and adapts it.
Of course, he doesn’t talk to her because of what his brother has told him. He hasn’t mentioned anything about the proposal, much less whether he is upset.
His silence is better... she doesn’t want to know part of what he thinks.
“I see... I had not seen Tobirama-sama so enthusiastic about that. He didn’t understand it at first,” she laughs amused. “He told me I could take the land next to your house.”
“Will I have a house?” said civilian blinks lost with a slight frown.
“Have they not told you?”
“I have not been summoned to see the matter,” she says because in the end, he did not worry about her.
“You have a large patio,” she says amusedly.
“Uh?”
“The young masters have many considerations for you, Karen-san. I just hope you do not abandon us,” Kaori sighs with slight suspicion. “It would be sad for both of them.”
“Mmmm...” Karen wanted to tell them that she doesn’t feel exactly that way, nor is she so sure of surviving outside considering the cons of her unfair situation by not having chakra benefits, but that was water under the bridge, and she prefers to focus on the issue of her own move.
Why haven’t they told her?
──
When she had the time to ask Hashirama, he stopped sharply in his almost empty office while he used his own magic to store things in scrolls, a unique ability that would be beneficial in her world. She always thought how useful it would be, like those capsules in the cartoons that her sister watched as a child.
“Who told you?”
“It doesn’t matter who told me. Rather, why didn’t you tell me?” she frowns lost in this whole issue. “I know I’m a civilian... an intruder in the clan.” It’s been a long time since she felt that way, but it’s the way she perceives this lack of communication.
“It’s not that.”
“Then?”
“Well... we have considered you within the main complex.”
“Oh...” she frowns at this information.
“I know we haven’t talked to you much because of bureaucratic issues and your map bases regarding your location,” the leader accepts looking at her firmly. “I just... well, I thought that wouldn’t bother you.”
“It’s not that it bothers me, but you could have told me, right?”
“You didn’t ask.”
“I know... I’ve been busy developing the first blueprint that I see Tobirama has improved to cover the spots of all the clan members, but it would be nice if you asked me. Maybe I want to be near the forest... or in the middle of the clans... or even living with Mikami-san.”
“You don’t want to be within the main clan?”
“Do I have options?”
“No,” Hashirama says quickly. He sees his mistake, scratching the back of his neck. “You know, we haven’t talked about... your engagement.”
“Uh... it’s a façade. What does that have to do with me being inside the main complex?” she frowns when her hunch indicates otherwise. “Oh...”
“The Daimyo has sent a request for the wedding.”
“Why hadn’t you told me?”
“I told him not to tell you,” someone interrupts their conversation. These stealth ninja skills are annoying when she doesn’t sense them.
“Why?”
“I wanted to talk to you about the deal.”
“Uh...” Karen blinks twice and then sighs to glare at the older Senju, who looks guilty and anxious about it. “Right... we haven’t talked about this.”
“No,” Tobirama looks at his brother. “Hashirama?”
“Within the clan, there is a tradition. The bride and groom must have an engagement party where the dowry is shown,” the elder explains. “Considering the whole move... And what’s more, the Daimyo wants to be present and give his blessing to the future married couple.”
“But it’s a façade,” Karen complains.
“Madara told you that it had to look real. You know it.”
“I had hoped it would be simpler,” the woman snorts indignantly.
“Does it bother you to marry me?” Tobirama doesn’t ask, but he almost sounds sullen. Why is he asking that question? The civilian turns to who look at her strangely.
“It’s not that. Just, taking your time without questioning yourself to put up a façade... personally, I don’t like it, Karen explains with apathy and a touch of sincerity. “What if you want to fall in love? Get married?”
“It will not happen.”
“But...”
“It is for the good of the village. I talked to Hashirama about it, and it does not matter if that ensures the well-being of our home. You already did enough supporting this dream, it is my duty... my payment to do the same for you.”
“It doesn’t seem fair to me, and you know that at the beginning it wasn’t easy for anyone,” Karen keeps up with the conversation.
“It does not bother me,” Tobirama assures. “Now... do you want to continue with this?”
Karen looks at them and sees that they expect something from her. Now she knows how Mito must feel being treated as an object of exchange. “Well... it’s not like I have other options.”
“You can refuse,” Hashirama clarifies.
“Our work will go to waste if I don’t do it. I know I won’t get rid of the Daimyo,” the civilian accepts, looking at the matter logically. “I imagine that’s why you want me to live in the main complex.”
“You will live with me,” Tobirama clarifies. “Just after the wedding.”
“Huh? ...Do we already have a wedding date?”
“After Hashirama’s.”
“Are you already going to marry Mito?” Karen looks surprised by so much information. The leader nods firmly. “Whoa... everything is going so fast,” she snorts indignantly.
“You said it... for the work we have been doing,” Hashirama looks serious about it, but firm.
“I don’t like it.”
“We do not like it,” Tobirama bites from his point. “Nevertheless, it is alright. It is just a façade, but it will have to be done well. We do not want the Daimyo to find out about our lie.”
“Will we sleep together?” she questions, making both boys start coughing quickly. “What?”
“Nothing,” Hashirama cuts off just in time for someone to interrupt their conversation. Karen sees Tobirama slightly uncomfortable with her question. She had to bring up this topic before the matter continued, because the part of telling a lie is believing it, right?
──
“I didn’t think you would accept so easily,” Karen says just when she sees Tobirama sit next to her after arriving from the meeting with Hashirama. She still feels uncomfortable with the solution, but she will work with it. The courtyard is silent and as always, the albino weighs the pros and cons in his mind.
Who would have thought that she would be playing this game with this insolent, annoying and cutting guy who, although he is not as irritating as before, does not seem as husband material, nor does she see herself as wife material.
“There is no other way.”
“Mmmm...” Karen doesn’t look further. “I’m older than you.”
“And?”
“Just, well, if you fall in love with someone, you’ll tell me, right?”
“We will be fictitious spouses,” Tobirama throws mercilessly.
“True... I just wouldn’t want to be someone else’s partner,” she winked, amused by the joke that was lost by the man’s hard blinking. “Seriously, even now you’ll be difficult.”
“I do not have to be easier,” the man frowns.
“Mmmm...” Karen glares at him to sigh. “When will you give the news?”
“After the move.”
“Anything else I should know?”
“We well not sleep together.”
“Oh, that is a relief,” the woman laughs amused, although Tobirama does not look good. “I’m sorry for getting you into this.”
“Hashirama made the lie.”
“Yes, but... if only I weren’t so...” She sighs because she doesn’t know how to explain the issue. She doesn’t feel pretty, much less attractive to be part of the harem of an irritating man.
“You are intelligent. Only a blind person would not realize that.”
“Whoa... you see the intelligence,” the girl laughs. “I hope this doesn’t get out of hand.”
Tobirama doesn’t say anything.
“Then, we well be associates, right?”
“Associates?”
“Yes. Contract partners. Without affection and only benefit.”
“...”
“Tobirama?”
“You are annoying.” He just leaves without saying anything else. Karen turns her eyes, uncomfortable with his reaction and worried about having to get married just because they have her in their eyes. ...What would her family say? What would her father say? She retracts a little more, curling up to look at the huge patio.
She wants to cry because she didn’t think it would end up like this. She knows there are worse paths, worse destinations... but she never saw herself marrying someone she doesn’t love and who is difficult to understand.
A marriage just for façade...
Tumblr media
A/N: A short chapter to close this saga lol, and commence a new one. As you will see, things did not turn out as she thought they would. Everything has gone down a path that she did not expect, but she has to endure, remembering how weak her position and free will are.
Even so, Karen sees that this is not so bad, because Tobirama assures that he will not do anything else... everything by contract without any kind of extra.
Could it be...?
Thanks for your comments.

NCIS Season 22, Episode 14 ‘Close to Home’ is one of the best episodes of the season and proof—not that we really needed it—that this show is still invested in Jimmy Palmer and Jessica Knight as a couple. They’re just talking the long way to get back to where they were before. Or perhaps, the point is not to get them back to where they were before, but the find a better place for the two of them.
Everyone works well in a supporting capacity—from Uncle Nick to McGee’s commentary about parenthood, to Parker and his snacks and Kasie and her excitement about the killer—but this episode is mostly about Jimmy and Victoria. About their family. And well, also about how Jessica Knight is, without a doubt, still part of that family. Even if, right now, that family doesn’t look like any of them probably want it to.
THE JESSICA AND JIMMY OF IT ALL
Tumblr media
NCIS Season 22, Episode 14 ‘Close to Home’ finally addresses the Jessica and Jimmy of it all that the show has been pretty much ignoring since they had that conversation in ‘Sticks & Stones’ which feels like ages ago. Because yes, though that episode basically ended with them saying that they both still love each other, they just aren’t there yet, the truth is we haven’t really gotten anything that could indicate the show is still intending to invest in the ship. Not until now. And what we got here is enough to hold us over for a while.
This episode proves that those feelings are still there—and not just for Jimmy, who has always been much easier to read, but for Jessica too. Her look of pure anguish when they found Jimmy making out with the suspect will live in my mind, rent-free. Because the truth is that yes, they both still love each other. And not so deep down, they both still want each other. They just don’t know how to make the relationship work, and they’re afraid, especially considering how the breakup went, of trying again, or even really deconstructing what happened the first time they were together.
But this hour proves not just how well Jessica fits into Jimmy’s life—the life she wasn’t sure she fit into—but how much it adds to her. These are both things she and Jimmy were worried about when they decided not to try again. Neither of them wanted to hurt Victoria, and I get it. But Jessica thinking about Victoria over herself is a great sign that she’s not actually gonna abandon Victoria if things don’t work out. She hasn’t yet.
For Jimmy, on the other hand, this is a very good reminder that yes, it’s him and Victoria against the word in so many ways, but he isn’t alone. Not really.
WHAT FAMILY DOES
Tumblr media
When Jessica tells Jimmy that this is “what family does,” she’s being sincere. Because despite the breakup, Jimmy is family to her. But she’s also using that as a shield against what she really wants to say, what she really feels. And in a way, that’s understandable. Jessica is having to face not just a bunch of feelings she’s repressed for a while, but also a bunch of desires she didn’t even know she had. Because it’s not just Jimmy she wants, in this episode, it feels like Jessica wants the family.
What does that mean for her? Would she be willing to abandon her “dreams” for this man, this family? Or do dreams just change as you get older? Because you don’t have to follow the plan you had for your life when you were a child all the way up to adulthood, not if you realize that’s not what you really want anymore. And if Jessica really thinks about what she wants, right now, I doubt it would be a fancy job somewhere else.
MORE: If you need a reminder of Gibbs’ rules, here they are!
Things I think I think:
Victoria, why are you lying to your dad?
Torres?!
Are these new pictures in the opening credits and did I just miss them the past few weeks?
Why do you think she didn’t call you, Jess? Why?
Weekly matcha date?!
“I’ve hit my yearly quota of awkward conversations with Jimmy.” Something tells me you haven’t.
Nick apologizing for not double-checking Jimmy knew was good.
“Because this is where the liars go?”
McGee with the snacks.
“But don’t enjoy them,” Oh, Jimmy.
Jessica’s whole “Palmers” thing.
Parker with the snacks.
Jessica’s LOOK to Jimmy as she walks out of the interrogation room.
“He’s a federal agent and you’re just the ME” hurt me, Jimmy.
“I’m sure you kill with that story at CrimeCon”
Jessica is indeed bad at pep talks.
And Jimmy is, indeed, a great father.
Random people also ship Jimmy and Jess.
But also, why did Jessica pick the RV moment in the woods as the moment she knew she couldn’t live without Jimmy? And how did we get no follow-up on that?
Jessica sticking up for Jimmy was also great. It’s growth, for both of them.
Are you jealous, Jess?
“Anyone need a hug here?” Nick, you are funny.
“We’re not cyberstalking, we’re researching.” Yeaaaaaaaah, right.
I can see Jimmy as a helicopter dad, especially since he broke up with Jessica.
But it was good that Jess and Victoria got a chance to talk.
Jessica’s face at Jimmy making out with that woman. Come on, Jess, you want this. Why did you let him go?
The convo between Victoria and Jimmy was gold.
What do you mean what family does?!
