the reason it feels like shifting is hard or takes time is because you’ve told yourself exactly that over & over. you’ve repeated the story of your current situation so many times that it became your reality.

^^ & that’s why things feel the way they do right now. if you keep identifying with the version of yourself who thinks you need to try harder, who keeps procrastinating & who lets doubts take over, that’s exactly what your reality will continue to reflect.
you’re not shifting because you’re doing anything wrong, it’s because you’re still thinking from the perspective of someone who doesn’t have what they want. as long as you think that way, your reality will keep looping that version for you.
but let’s make something very clear before we move on.
yes, you can want to shift without feeling like you’re stuck in your old mindset, because frankly, the version of you who has shifted & shifts easily still wants to shift again & again. duh! you can want something & still have it. would you throw away your favorite shirt just because you already own it?.. nah, didn’t think so, because you still want your shirt even though it’s already yours. anyway. moving on.

how do you actually stop identifying with the old you?
you simply stop reinforcing their beliefs. you stop thinking their thoughts. you stop living inside their limitations. not in a way where you expect your old thoughts to disappear completely, because they will keep showing up.
the only difference between the old you & the new you is that they don’t argue with their doubts. they don’t constantly question if they’re doing something right. they simply do what feels right. the moment you stop seeing that version of you as something you’re trying to become.. & instead start living as them.. everything begins to change.

*a doubt appears*
“wait, i just thought against myself. i’m still the old me..” nope. nope. the new you wouldn’t think that way. they would let thoughts like that pass by without clinging or talking back. they wouldn’t panic or think you messed up over a little doubt. the new you simply knows that a passing thought, good or bad, holds no power unless you give it power.
so, how would you think if you had already shifted & could shift easily whenever you wanted? would you spiral with doubt & think it will stop you? would you force yourself into hours of effort you don’t even enjoy? no, you wouldn’t. you wouldn’t care about your doubts & you would do whatever you felt like in the moment. you would even roll over, fall asleep & wake up in your reality. no effort needed.
so do exactly that. think as the new version of you, because if you keep thinking like the old you, you’ll keep living their life. but the moment you think differently, the pattern breaks. ‹𝟹

how to shift whenever (from an experienced shifter)
i see so many people still talking about shifting like it’s this impossible thing, like you have to beg the universe for it or spend months trying every method out there. so here’s the truth, from someone who’s actually been shifting consistently for a while:
you can shift whenever you want.
and no, that’s not just motivational bs, that’s literally how it works when you understand what shifting actually is.
shifting isn’t something you try to do. it’s something you allow. the version of you that already lives in your desired reality? they already exist. your job isn’t to create them , it’s to align with them.
you don’t need to feel tingles or hear signs or vibrate at some perfect level. you don’t need the perfect sleep schedule or the perfect script. what you need is clarity.
clarity that says: “i know what i want. i know it already exists. and i trust myself enough to go there.”
when i shift, i don’t force it. i don’t chase it. i become it.
it’s just a decision:
a breath.
a moment.
a quiet “i’m already there.”
and then i fall into it.
not because i’m trying so hard, but because i finally stopped trying.
once you drop the resistance, once you stop doubting, you realize how easy it is. how natural. how familiar.
there’s no big secret. no magic formula.
just presence. trust. surrender.
and once you taste it? once you know you can do it?
you’ll never stress about it again.

you're not running out of time to shift. just because you didn't shift yesterday, or the week before, or the year before, doesn't mean that it's gonna be taken from you. there's no clock ticking, no train leaving the station, no alarms blaring to get the last ticket, no one to race against, nothing. breathe. no one and nothing can take it away from you. it will always be there.

No you didn't "detach" and finally shift, you just stopped actively reaffirming against your desire and shifted.
Don't get me wrong. I used to do that too, still do sometimes—reality can be a hoe like that.
Because, the concept of detachment—is one that is, at worst misunderstood; at best, doesn't even need to exist—it can easily turn into an recursive loop. Before you panic, the loop can just as easily be broken.
Why? At a certain point, you have to realize that the key is just... thinkingꜝꜝ
Affirming -> thinking
Setting intention -> thinking
Deciding -> thinking
SATS -> thinking
Mental diet -> thinking
Robotic affirming -> thinking
Assuming -> thinking
Methods -> ....
....
....
Still thinking ᐢᗜᐢ

‎ ❤︎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ⊹ ₊ WAYS TO HELP WITH YOUR RESPAWNING/PERMASHIFTING GUILT 🏮
Ah yes... the guilt of shifting and manifestation. This is something that we all know and experience at least once during our time in this community/after discovering reality shifting and the law of assumption.
It's even worse when you are a respawner/permashifter. The thought of leaving everything behind, especially everything that irritates and hurts you... it feels so beautiful and exciting, but it also feels so betraying and selfish. Even if you know this is better for your sake, you still get thoughts of guilt and self-loathing for it.
I understand as I get to as someone who is a permashifter ( + somewhat of a respawner ) myself. I also feel guilty when really thinking deep into my plans of respawning as well. Sometimes, my guilt is so bad that I wish I was born into a bad family, so I won't have regrets.
Though, of course, as you see from the title. How did I manage to soothe my guilt of respawning / permashifting? Well, after thinking for the past couple of weeks, I've come up with multiple points that make me feel way better and heck even more motivated to permashift/respawn.

✿‌ THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN ORIGINAL REALITY
We shift and manifest every second, and that's fact. Every decision you make... from the most smallest ones to the biggest ones is a shift. Even you reading this post was a shift as you decided to spend your time reading this post other than scrolling or maybe leaving tumblr all together. Knowing this, that means one thing: that there isn't an original reality. Since we shift every second( + movement is always happening) , the reality that we are in right now is completely different from you were a couple of seconds ago. Since we shift all the time, and that a "major" shift and a "small" shift is all the same-- you permashifting/respawning to your dr is technically not so different from you living your daily life here and manifesting.
✿‌ MANIFESTATION = SHIFTING
Similar to my last point, shifting and manifesting are two sides of the same coin. You manifesting is you shifting to reality where you have it, and you shifting is manifesting that specific reality to be your current reality. Personally, if I wasn't going to permashift and eventually respawn, I would definitely still manifest for a better life like before... though I realized something. Since manifesting and shifting is pretty much the same thing, and movement is always happening -- what's really the difference between me respawning to my waiting room AND THEN shifting to a better cr rather than me just manifesting my dream life "here". Like manifesting improvements, and overall, my dream life is no different from shifting to better cr🤷‍♀️
✿‌ THIS VERSION OF YOU ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE
Unless you are a d__th(physical)/SCA respawner who is planning to have their body pass away or "disappear" after shifting and grounded in your dr-- This version of you isn't really isn't going anywhere. Whether you believe in the concept of clones or not (me personally, I don't ), something we can all agree is that the version that you will leave behind is no different from you. Your "variants": whether it's your drself or version that you are in right now, it's all you. You know how when you shift to your dr, the reality that you will leave behind will still continue. Yeah, that version of YOU will still be living YOUR life like normally. So don't think that you will be "leaving your loved ones" behind since you technically won't be going anywhere and they won't even notice. ( *cough* you are everywhere and nowhere all at once)
✿‌ YOU ARENT SEPERATING FROM YOUR LOVED ONES PERMENTLY
This especially counts if you are a permashifter (hell, even if you are a respawner, it can still work)... if you ever miss your loved ones, especially if they are/were good to you, you can still visit them. You can still shift back or at least go to an alternate universe to meet them. You permashifting or respawning does not mean separating from your loved ones forever...if anything ( especially depending on your own plans), it can mean finally not worrying about being apart. Not only can you shift back to your old reality or shift to alternate reality, but you can also channel and communicate to your loved one's higher selves, Astral project to your loved ones, script your loved ones into your drs, and much more.
✿‌ THE CONCEPT OF AWARENESS AND DIFFERENT PEOPLE
This goes exactly with the last point I've made! I've seen one post on tumblr, which really got me thinking. You know how we all have awareness of our own (all of it, including the infinite amount of realities and etc all mashes up into a unified consciousness; consciousness = reality). Well, the post said that your loved ones' awareness could be in different reality. Again , as I mentioned, movement is always happening, and we are ALL shifting as it's natural to all of us. The whole concept of the genuine awareness of your loved ones being in a different reality does help with detachment (now I'm not saying that this version of them isn't important, but it does definitely help with detachment from this reality *it definitely did for me*)
✿‌ HAVE YOU SEEN THIS WORLD
This world sucks for pretty much of all of us in some sort of way. The racism, the homophobia, the transphobia, the misogyny, the animal cruelty, the lack of empathy and compassion, the wars, and just much more craziness. It's even worse if you have a bad life and trauma personally on your own. Personally, my life is not bad... hell, if anything, I'm privileged in a lot of aspects-- though the thing is... I'm not satisfied with this life at all, and I dislike a lot of aspects of not only this life but also this current version of myself. There is no reason for staying here other than my parents, specifically my mother. Mentioning all the other points and also knowing that this version of me isn't going anywhere - why should I still stay here or feel guilty if I know everything will be the same old regardless if I permashift/respawn or not.
✿‌ YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE
You are limitless. Now I know you have heard that multiple times, but it's really true, and you need to act like it. Why worry or feel guilty of something that you have control over. It's your life. It's your outcome. It's your reality. If you wanna respawn/permashift and you know that you will be way happier and satisfied if you do, why feel bad. If your loved ones knew AND believed in shifting and truly wanted the best for you and your happiness, they most likely would agree and say something similar.
✿‌ YOU GOT TO PUT YOURSELF FIRST SOMETIMES
Like I mentioned the last time, it's your life... it's your reality. You permashifting or respawning does not make you selfish, and even if it did, who cares ! It's not harming anyone and again...it's your life and existence. You shifting does not mean you don't love your loved ones, it mean that you love yourself. It's time to decide for yourself and realize that you deserve happiness. If that means leaving everything behind and starting afresh... DO IT.
You deserve happiness, don't let anything or one stop you from getting it.

Why You’re Not Experiencing What You Deeply Want (Even When You’re Doing Everything Right)

as someone who feels advice is more impactful when rooted in something deeper like psychology or spiritual tradition: i wanted to share my research on why things like shifting or other spiritual expansion can feel so hard to reach.
this post isn’t meant to contradict any of the other helpful advice you’ll see on here, but if you feel like you’ve hit a wall or that shifting is something far away, the most self honoring thing you can do is understand yourself before looking for outside solutions.
in the shifting community, we’ve all already accepted that putting shifting on a pedestal keeps it out of your reach. but why?
why can't you have what it is that you want so badly?
this is a long one, but it’s for your own good.

1. Psychology: The Upper Limit Problem (by Gay Hendricks)
in his book, the big leap, psychologist gay hendricks (haha gay) calls this the upper limit problem. the idea that you have an inner thermostat that measures how much success, happiness, and expansion you believe you deserve.
this measure can be different for people; some might believe they deserve everything, some might believe they deserve none at all, and the rest of us fall somewhere in between.
the thing we all have in common however is that our reality will match the capacity of our inner thermostat.
if you, who believes you do not deserve it, start getting too close to shifting, your inner thermostat says ‘oh! nope. we hit our maximum. this package is not for us.’ and unfortunately, your reality will comply.
getting anxious before attempting, suddenly doubting if its real when you get close, changing your method again and again, obsessing over symptoms or doing it right.
you don’t believe you deserve this amount of freedom/power/peace, so you will self sabotage.
it was never about your capabilities, and as unpleasant as this might be to hear, the situation you are in is one you have designated for yourself.
understanding this is the road to victory.

2. Spirituality: The Law Of Detachment + Clinging Energy
in spiritual terms (especially in buddhism, taoism, and law of attraction), this is about attachment vs detachment.
the more you grasp at something, the more you reinforce the belief that you don’t have it.
so when you want shifting desperately, you’re not aligned with the version of you that already has it. you’re aligned with the version that doesn’t.
that desire energy can turn into fear, urgency, and scarcity which literally will block your flow.
this is why so many people only shift or project accidentally when they’re relaxed, distracted, or not trying. they’ve dropped the fight response that usually blocks it.
you don’t manifest what you want.
you manifest what you are.
look at yourself and see that all of which you have is only what you have chosen for yourself.

3. Closing Thoughts
you don’t need a new method or script or routine.
you need a new relationship with your own mind.
you’re not doing it wrong. you’re just doing it from a place of fear.
once you understand it, you can bring your desire down from the pedestal. have it sit beside you. have it get familiar.

Hi shifting community !! This is my first post on Tumblr, so i apologize in advance if anything’s wrong. I was a bit unsure where to post this, since my only options were here, tiktok, or reddit. And tbhh, there’s a bit of toxicity on tiktok, and i don’t really feel brave enough to post there. And reddit communities are either the best ones, or literally some of the worst— there’s no in between, lololl

The 3 main reasons why i’m making this post are the following :
get to know more people from the shifting community
Bc honestly, i don’t have anyone around me who’s also interested in shifting. and there are moments where i’d really like to talk to someone about our dr !! ^_^
share my experience & ask for advice
I’ve been interested in shifting since 2020. During quarantine, i spent 3 – 4 years trying to shift, but because of the amount of misinformation there was back then, i obviously never managed to do it. At that time, i remember thinking that in order to shift i just needed to write a script and that was it. Which (please correct me if i’m wrong), from what i understand, can help, since it helps you visualize better, however, mindset is also a really important factor. Back to the point, bc of all the failed attempts and my own misinformation, i lost a bit of interest. Last year and this year, i found myself interested in the topic again, and this time i took the time to try and do some more research
(please tell me if anything is wrong) but what i’ve been able to find / learn so far :
i've tried several methods, routines, and tips, but none of them have worked for me
consciousness is VERYY powerful
we’re already in our desired realities
we’re constantly shifting realities unconsciously
here i explain that : from what i’ve read, this refers to how with every action, comment, or decision we make, we’re constantly shifting to different realities, and that while we’re making one decision, there are also others realities where you didn’t make that decision
and a few more i can't remember rn because i'm half asleep, LOLOL
I haven’t fully shifted yet, i never get past some mild symptoms when i try. But i don’t plan on giving up !!!
I know and i’m sure shifting is real bc i’m 100% sure that when i was a kid i shifted SO MANY times to my favorite series / books from back then. I have memories of how i used to do a kind of meditation before shifting, and i used to go to quiet places, and just by closing and opening my eyes again i was already there. I interacted, talked, walked, and could move through different realities. I remember i even had friends, and people already knew me in all those realities. I could go to those realities whenever i wanted. However, i think at some point i developed some kind of block??? I’ve been thinking a lot about how maybe, part of the reason why it’s now harder for me to shift, is that at some point i developed some mindset or belief that’s limiting me to some extent, but i’m afraid i don't remember and idk how to identify it, so i don’t know how to change that belief / mindset and improve it
genuine interest in learning more !
Now that i've said all of the above, i wanted to know more about shifting, not just the methods or how to shift to a desired reality — i WANT to know the history of shifting, important concepts, experiences from wise people, etc. I’m not only interested in learning how to shift, i also want to understand more about shifting itself. Because of all the misinformation that exists about shifting, i haven’t dared to dig too deep into research, bc i really don’t want to risk ending up with false info

I'm conducting an (anonymous) study on the profiles of people who shift "on command," meaning:
- Without the need for a highly precise script
- Without a rigid method
- And sometimes even effortlessly.

detach from CR — detach from ego
your lack of detachment from your current reality is not the reason you’re not shifting. your life is not the problem in any way. you don’t have to hate it or disconnect from everything here to shift.
the real issue? definitely your ego. it’s the same ego feeding you with doubt. it’s the reason you start overthinking, procrastinating or questioning everything. your ego wants to keep you exactly where you are. not because it’s better here, but because it’s familiar. i can only guess it’s doing its job pretty damn well huh?
your ego is not you. it’s just a voice in your head which, by the way, is pretty loud, dramatic and veeery convincing.. it’s that annoying voice that tells you: “what if i’m doing it wrong?” or “this won’t work.”
but, it’s still not you. your ego isn’t the truth. it’s just afraid of change and your life here is definitely not holding you back from experiencing another reality, no matter if you have plans or actually do enjoy life here. that’s why instead of detaching from your CR as a whole, try detaching from that voice.
when i say to detach from your ego, i don’t mean that you should argue with it or try to silence it, because unfortunately, your ego will always be there. instead, just stop identifying with it. because when you do, those thoughts lose its power over you. you simply notice them, like clouds passing by in the sky.
“this won’t work.” oh hi, a cloud
“i need to do more.” another little cloud
you don’t have to fight them, or even try to turn them into something positive. just don’t grab onto them. because when you cling to those thoughts and validate them, they stop being just thoughts and start feeling like reality. you start doubting, overthinking.. and the cycle continues. these thoughts might keep coming, but your peace comes from not reacting to them.
your true self is your awareness. the part of you that observes without judgement. that’s the part that shifts. not the ego. so whenever doubts or overthinking starts screaming again, remind yourself: “this isn’t me doubting. it’s my ego trying to stay in control and protect what feels familiar.”

do whatever you want with it <3

DECIDE, no forget your doubts, „but I already did multiple times and I still haven’t shifted“ ok? Then forget them again, but this time decide,
ITS YOUR DR, your soul, your mind, your everything, so why saying "try"?
Just do it. Stop telling yourself every night the same thing that you will "try" just do it
