Oh my god I just spent 44 hours in 3 days reading a lord of the rings fic and now I find out that IT’S LONGER THAN LOTR AND THE HOBBIT COMBINED??????????

#hello again world I don’t know what the fuck just happened to me #a feat of adhd hyperfocus I have never seen before and I hope to never see again #for the first time in my life I pulled an all-nighter for a fic #I read for 38 hours straight before my brain started hallucinating that the words on the screen were shifting around and I had to sleep #woke up again after 10 hours then read for another 6 until I was finished #what the fuck #I don’t know what came over me #I don’t even really ship the ships in it #it was just a very fucking cool alternate supplemental perspective to the events of canon with a dash more queer romance #I need to stop my habit of reading longfics in one sitting if this is where it’s going to take me #like I feel like I just experienced a temporary madness but I highly recommend that was fucking incredible #go read Sansûkh if you dare I will advise against trying to beat my time #lotr #the hobbit #sansûkh #spilling the Tea

I just watched the first Hobbit movie again and man I don’t think I fully realized how long Thorin was out until now, it was several hours of him just hanging there from the eagle looking dead, no wonder everyone was so freaked out. How long do you guys think he would have been out had Gandalf not magic’d him awake, bc he was not waking up anytime soon otherwise

　　　　　𖣠 my love languages are acts of service and words of affirmation. kíli's are physical touch, acts of service, and quality time. i show my love by finishing tasks that may be bothering him or helping out whenever i can to make him less stressed (as a prince, i imagine he can get very stressed). i also try to hold his hand whenever he's anxious about something, because he will rarely admit to being nervous, and i always make time to just be with him — no work, no stress, just us. how he shows mine is by cleaning up my workspace (because i often forget) and doing anything to lighten the load of my work. in regards to words of affirmation, he is always quick to tell me how proud he is, how he appreciates my dedication to my work, and he always reminds me that he loves me.
