bullshit reasons I think ais is banned from the beach GO:

Ocudeus teleports into the body of water nearest to Ais like a Minecraft dog

Ais nuded at the not nudist beach

he let the dogs out (they ate people)

Ocudeus unionized all the fish and started an aquatic invasion but the fish can't survive out of water so a bajillion sea creatures just flopped onto the sand and fucking died and the entire beach is rotting now

Ais converts water into seaspring blood like jesus wine-watering a pool (envision him in a cloud of red like hes peeing it)

too many felony charges

Ocudeus made him start beatjng people up for fishing

Refused to stop smoking up the entire fucking beach so they just kicked him out

Buried people up to their necks in sand and used them as bowling pins by chucking a coconut at them

Got into a beach-off with the only qualified lifeguard & only to find that he cannot become the new lifeguard by taking their place after a trial by combat. (he needs Certificates.)

Ocudeus bans him by screaming jealously that ais is looking at the other fish

If he touches water Ocudeus explodes out of him like he's Ben Hargreeves . H2O mermaids ais.

Crashed his car really badly after trying to drift/do donuts on the sand

Banned because he got into a sandcastle building competition with Leander and put a bunch of broken glass in the sand (for decoration slash home turf defense slash Wound Leander)

Tips: (trying hard to keep it brief. many tutorials for these exist online, that's one of the benefits of csp!)

Gradient maps will color your whole image based on how light/dark all the values are (ctrl+G). great for different color filter effects or to color from grayscale!

Auto actions will automatically do a few things in a row for you; the one i linked above does a number of simple 'new/duplicate layer' type tasks so you can do rgb shift / chromatic aberration effects. highly recommend looking up a tutorial for that as well if it's foreign to you

right click layer list -> new correction layer will make you a tone curve (or other similar) filter layer so you can adjust colors/values of the image & adjust the opacity of or delete said filter altogether without compromising the rest of the image

new layer -> set to overlay -> filter (top bar menu) -> render -> perlin noise will add visual interest to your image without really altering anything so it engages the eye more! i'm very fond of screen tones & particle effect brushes for the same reason

csp does screentones ! quick way to do them is to select an area with a selection tool & then go to the dots icon to the right of the fill bucket

You can customize/create new brush groups by clicking & dragging the brushes around in the sub tool & dockers, AND edit/assign shortcut keys to those from the file top bar menu. I set most of my brush groups to WASD so I can reach all the shortcut keys with my left hand.

the 'align/distribute' docker is so great if youre trying to get things to line up nicely

im always thinkin about how like. Melinoe and Zagreus are total foils in a lot of ways & 1 of which is how they think about taking/stealing.

Meli grew up believing her family life had been stolen from her so to her, taking back her home and family is totally not stealing, which is Wrong. but Zag grew up with his father withholding things from him so he's more of a "im stealing everything nyehehe" as a rightful or justified action, more or less. like.

lowkey i think the thing with white users easily and openly admitting a bunch of embarrassingly ignorant to straight-up racist shit in tags that's being talked abt a lot lately is in part due to the attitude that you can just like, say whatever shit you want on this site with no inhibitions.

"I can be as unhinged as I want here" is one of the main draws for tumblr as a platform. So much classic tumblr shit comes from people being unhinged or overly personal while staying anonymous, it's what I like about this site, But. Like. I think it's important to learn to distinguish unhinged shitposting that's funny or harmless from unhinged shitposting that's actually just admitting you're casually racist.

Same goes for literally any case of simply Not Actually Considering the Content of What You're Commenting On.

We would not lose tumblr culture if it became the norm to Think Before Posting. I think it would be nice if tumblr culture integrated a little more conscientiousness about Thinking Before Posting. yeah thats it thats the post
