The fact that Fortiche's co-founder and director Pascal Charrue took his time to join in the work process and personally crafted Silco's head in its finality with all those lovely features we adore so much, just can't leave me alone. Fortiche created our man with so much care. And then came Riot "We don't talk about Silco" Inc...😮‍💨🤦🏻‍♀️

Amazing Fan Model

Silco and Vander being old dads to all the grown kids. Silco is saying something about not being able to find his brand of makeup anymore except in a few small shops.

Someone says something, one thing leads to another, and Vander says he remembers back in the day when Silco was still a model. No one believes him. Their Silco? Papa? A model? No way.

Silco tries to push it away and not mention it. But he does confirm that yes he was a model, in hope of everyone forgetting it.

Of course they don’t. He just hoped they wouldn’t find him in any of the old BDSM catalogues or the skin mags… especially the ones with special features with Vander.

An idiot sandwich!

Still on my young Zaundads bullshit... now with Felicia! I wanted to recreate my own version of that photo with them in the Jinx game, but without them posing like they're in the 1800s. XD Very much still a WIP, but I plan to eventually render it properly.

(In my head Benzo found an old camera, fixed it up, and is using them as models to test it out. Silco was forced to join by being squeezed in a Vander-Felicia sandwich.)

More Connol Sightings

I went back to watch scenes with background crowds and found that the Connol model seems to be only used in the Last Drop (under Vander) and the Bridge scenes (excluding S2 AU).

So we'll start at the beginning.

Opening Scene

Lowkey he got that cake Anyway. It's interesting that for a guy never officially introduced in the show, he has 3 different outfits: miner uniform (Remember Me), default outfit (Remember Me & BG appearances in TLD), and this - the Day of Ash outfit.

Instead of the turtleneck, he's wearing some sort of vest over a tank top. His right arm warmer is replaced by a black arm ribbon wrap thing like young Silco and an arm brace on the left wrist like Felicia and these accessories are not present in his default outfit.

We should also take into account that this guy may also be a different background character entirely who just happens to reuse Connol's assets (the hat, the utility belt and pouch). There is a minor difference with dead Connol (wearing arm warmer but no arm ribbon wrap) and running Connol (wearing arm ribbon wrap but no arm warmer).

But I'd like to think that's still him. It's much sadder to think that Connol was right beside Silco when he threw the molotov. Heck maybe that's why he died first. Remember this?

Maybe after the molotov was thrown, Connol saw an enforcer coming. Maybe his first priority was to keep the leaders of Zaun safe. Silco was right beside him, maybe he pushed him out of the way and he got shot instead. Felicia sees this, ran to him and pleaded not to shoot but was shot too and that's why their corpses ended up on top of each other.

Gangsters Threatening Huck Scene

This is the only shot with his lower half visible. I WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE MAROON OVERALLS??? His pants look maroon too, could only mean his pants is connected to the maroon cloth across his torso.

It looks like his left calf is exposed and he’s wearing a high boot on the right foot and a regular ass shoe on the left?? He also has a right knee pad and leg warmers.

How can I tell? I've mastered the art of interpreting pixels and I'm also not normal.

Sevika Confronts Vander scene

The clearest shot we have of his 3D model. Connol actually follows Sevika out in this scene. You know Vander is so ass as a leader that even Connol leaves💀 (also lowkey his biceps are kinda👀)

Bridge Blockade

This last one is from the part where Jayce ordered a blockade at the bridge. I’m actually not so sure if it’s him, it’s hard to see so I assumed based on the hat and turtleneck silhouette (it’s also funny to imagine he’s still going to protests post-death. Man’s haunting that bridge)

I should also note, old blonde Silco model is also by his side (ignore the cop in the middle)

AND THIS IS WHAT I MEAN WHEN I SAY CONNOL & SILCO WERE FRIENDS BEFORE THEY MET VANDER AND FELICIA AND - (I say as I get dragged off to a padded cell)

cannot believe i never posted this--this is a commission i finished back in april for my friend joey, of his oc azrael!!! i love this fucking guy. he's such a bastard. campy fun villain and also just such a bastard man. twice's new bestie who's encouraging them to think for themself and ditch the cult <3

I am very late to the whole shenanigans but I watched a clip of Silco and Jinx from Arcane 1 (I think) and instantly teared up

A old WIP from a while back of a 3d Model of Silco I'm working on in Blender. At this stage I was still sculpting it but I wanted to see how it would look if I put a quick rig + some placeholder hair on it and posed it like one of the concepts (pose 28). I don't exactly have the clothing made yet so... the model isn't explicit or anything but posting it unedited just felt too wrong (though I'm sure some of you would have prefered it that way...🤨).

Currently the the sculpting is done save for a few tweaks, I have textures projected on his face, textures on the eyes, and the mouth is textured and rigged. I will share some more sometime soon.

Jayce/Silco mirroring & other stuff Ive noticed

Starting with the big season 2 opener as pointed out by sage-nebula:

Zaun/Piltover figureheads rushing to save a loved one with their respective creations (Shimmer/Hextech); said creations leading to corruption and a loss of control. Silco frequently referred to as the Industrialist, leading Zaun into a new age, Jayce is posited as the Innovator, making Piltover more profitable than it's ever been. Misery following both choices.

Jayce's endgame look shares a lot of visual aspects with Silco's main coat, incl. the red gilded lapels and all those straps. His body is also being corrupted by hextech into unnatural scar tissue. Scars are more prominent in the wild rift model even if the colors are a bit off from the show itself (2nd pic)

And if you remember, these two actually had a pretty big scene in season 1, which echoes the above sentiments and has Jayce pushing a negotiation for Zaun's independence - at this point in time, it's the closest we got to Silco's dream being realized before the big meltdown:

This feels like a really interesting scene now in the context of how he was asked to sacrifice jinx. And now jayce's entire world outlook is shaped by constant sacrifices to avoid impending doom.

There are a few more twisted parallels to this too; silco killing vander, jayce killing viktor in the name of preserving their ideals - vander being mutated by singed, again singed mixing viktor's blood with vanderwick in the act 3 teaser.

Previously I had compared the ep6 jayvik kill circumstances with vander's blinding rage leading him to try and drown silco in the river but I don't think the parallels are so clear anymore. It's looking like the further we go into the story, the more jayce/viktor change into a blur that mixes vander/silco's motivations together - viktor's weird, corrupted peacekeeper front inside the cult and how he connects to vander's memories admiring the man that he was in life. Jayce feeling in the flesh that the only way forward demands firsthand pain and power and sacrifice, not placidity.

Interested to see where act3 viktor goes. Vander working with enforcers = Viktor working with noxus I guess 😭😭 well I just hope they beat eachother 1v1 style. and I hope he ends up following through with his pledge for Zaun's independence
