VERY rough sketch for a potential story concept: a 'knight slaying dragon' tale set in the Cretaceous period. Silverfeather, a Deinonychus, lives in a lush valley where a giant pterosaur that claims the sun god's incarnation demands tribute in the form of young and prey. She goes on a quest to slay the dragon after her mate and chicks are killed by him. Along the way she meets all sorts of interesting characters.

The tone is that of a dark, mystical fantasy, inspired by stuff like The Secret of NIMH, Warrior Cats, Berserk, and Primal.

Paw AU (that will probably be integrated in my bigger AU, TW for injuries):

- Cloudpaw refuses to get a name from Bluestar at his ceremony, stating that he will only be named WITH or AFTER Brightpaw and Swiftpaw

- He joins Swift and Bright in their quest

- They do manage to kill one dog

- They still get baddly hurt but the three of them survives

- Bright gets: Half of her face thorn, loosing one eye and one ear

- Cloud gets: One front leg mangled and scaring on his back

- Swift gets: Tail thorn off along with one of his back legs

- They are found

- Bluestar gives them the names: Lostface, Mangledback and Notail

- Fireheart tells Princess who joins the clan to help Cinderpelt and kind of become her apprentice/assistant, If anyone has an idea of what her prefix could be that would be nice ^^'

- Princess and Cinderpelt helps the trio recover, they bitch about Bluestar, especially Princess who is VERY angry about what she did to her sons and his friends

- The dog chase still happens, Bluestar sacrifice herself, Fireheart becomes Firestar, Jake remplaces Swiftpaw for his leader ceremony (or maybe someone else, gonna see)

- Firestar renames the three apprentices at the same time, Lostface becomes Brightstorm , Mangledwing becomes Cloudbeam and Notail becomes Swiftclaw

- BrightCloudSwift polycule

- They kill Bone together

- Whitewing gets two sisters, Goldenflight and Silverfeather

Can I assume Swift won’t be Bright’s first cousin in this?

But yeah this is very cool!

For Princess maybe her prefix could be Ember, Sky, Gentle, Wood, or Feather?

Revisiting an old character that has a...complicated history with me.
