Wei does not call upon Josephine Harris, instead following the vague instructions provided from Koji and his own knowledge. While Jeremy and Anselm are out, he gives birth to little Leigh, a girl with Jeremy's darker skin but strange blue eyes similar to his own new appearance.

I'm too lazy to finish my wips but I'll let them free otherwise who know how long I would keep them as my skeletons in the closet (they're coming out, they're gay ur honor)
The prompt I came up with is that Shen Yuan plays a dating simulator based on PIDW but for girls and ends up transmigrated in it. (End game ship is scumcum cuz they're my little miaw miaws.)
Yes, Shen Yuan knows! The absolute embarrassment of a righteous cultivator setting that the original novel was, with thousands of beauties to be lost in the flowerbed, is being advertised as a dating sim?! Towards girls?? Unthinkable!
Shen Yuan doesn't see the appeal and wonders if whoever agreed with this was high off their kite! He bought the game anyways.
Don't get him wrong, he's not a masochist. He just wanted to see if he could find out more about the characters between all of the horrendous plot holes.
Who was he kidding? Himself! That absolute trash novel gave birth to the trashiest game ever! No contest for first place when you hold all of the seats at the podium of the horrorlympics.
Shen Yuan tried to find out more about each character because the novel was just a lake of red herrings, even if it still wasn't finished, but all of the cultivators ended up getting killed by Luo Binghe by the time he got even remotely close to romance between any of them.
At first he was okay with it since it was the stallion protagonist conquering his destiny and marrying his destined wife but there were only so many routes you could finish with Luo Binghe without it looking like lazy writing. This monstrosity was the same as the novel! Started out with good plot but ended up making him regret ever thinking the author of the book behind this game could be anything but a suck-up to perverts!
Yue Qingyuan? Dead. Wei Qingwei? Dead. Gongyi Xiao? Dead(??). Ming Fan? Dead. Liu Qingge? Dead... Well, that wasn't Binghe's fault. Shang Qinghua? Dead... That one also wasn't quite Binghe's fault. Mu Qingfang? Who even knows! Alive somewhere despite his sect being literally massacred. Shen Qingqiu? Dead, maybe?? In this point in time?? But he deserved it!
Oh! Don't even mention how he couldn't choose to be a guy! They didn't give him a choice, the hacks!! The beauty (read: amoeba) he was playing always ends up married to that bride snatcher, Luo Binghe!
And there are soooo many papapa scenes! The quality is not even good, where the fuck did all of the budget go except to animate papapa? Who did they even pay? They were scammed! Robbed! Swindled! Shen Yuan is sure people don't bend like that! The moment those scenes appeared? Literal jumpscare.
Shen Yuan found out last minute the game did not have a censoring feature so he was assaulted by Luo Binghe's heavenly pillar. You couldn't imagine the horror in his face at realizing that would enter someone's body. He was beginning to understand why Binghe's wives started to lose their iq the more time they spent in the harem. No space for them when they had to accommodate that thing! Some of them daily too! What are these proportions? Not human and shouldn't be justifiable, absolute bullshit! It's bigger than his forearm!!
The only thing that they did right is commissioning the original artist of the novel and merch to draw the backgrounds and character pictures when they're not... moving. The NPGs basically.
Who even is this fan service directed to?? Whoever tries to watch this will get turned off by the sheer amount of weird illogical poses and unnecessary ads littered everywhere. Sell-offs! Also, how is she, meaning his character, not at a gynecologist or something similar?!
Anyways, after trying all possible routes unfortunately leading to Luo Binghe, he has found a special character! Shen Yuan had found you could date Shen Qingqiu, the scum villain who deserves to be castrated.
Shen Yuan had just started Shen Jiu's love route by becoming a Qing Jing disciple (because why not, it's not real life) but he is sure the guy deserved at least some of the torture he got. Shen Yuan can't even keep count of the amount of times the guy has gotten on his nerves. May that bastard walk on guqins barefoot until he repents!
The game was wrong here too! They characterized him wrong, the antagonist did not even try anything with his character even though Shen Yuan had upgraded all of his beauty's stats to literal succubus-charm-your-pants-off.
He doesn't understand why the scum villain isn't jumping him when his beauty is at blows-your-socks-off levels, he thought the guy was perving on his students but whoever made this game probably didn't read some parts of PIDW or was a scum apologist. Divine retribution to whoever wrote this excuse of a game storyline. Ah, my script!
Probably one of those hare-brained people Shen Yuan wrote whole essays to, scathing them and the villain who should be castrated. The story that is barely found between all of the bad papapa was, after all, to show Luo Binghe's rise to power and inflicting justice against his past bullies and scum shizun! They gave him a ticket to becoming an invincible protag, he gives them a ticket to get their lives ruined. Easy logic.
Shen Yuan kept ranting in his head, too furious to notice the snack he had gotten for himself had already long ago expired.
He ate his pork bun too angrily, too stiff and yet still cursing out the novel and disgustingly named author, and didn't notice until it was too late how his healthy body couldn't take such abuse.
"Dumbfuck author, dumbfuck novel, dumbfuck game!"
These were the last word Shen Yuan could curse before he died.
Who would have thought a strong young man of a wealthy family would die this way after spending so much money on a specific stallion novel. At least he did before the dating game became the one mostly draining his bank account. Even so, it was not even out of natural causes like his own body failing on its own out of old age. No, it just had to be because he didn't notice what he was eating!
Shen Yuan was too angry he felt he could come back from the dead only to haunt the authors of the game, but especially give Airplane Shooting Towards the Sky a heart attack. He would make sure to haunt that hack writer's dreams even if it's the last thing he does.
Into the darkness he went, he couldn't feel anything. He couldn't see anything.
Then, a sudden but clear noise came from somewhere inside the void.
[ Activation code: 'Dumbfuck author, dumbfuck novel, dumbfuck game'. Automatically triggering system. ]
Shen Yuan looked around but could not find where the ai-like voice was coming from. 'System? Like a-'
[ We welcome your entrance into the system. This system is based on the developing concept of 'You can you up, no can no BB'. We hope to provide you with the best experience. Amidst the dizziness, Shen Yuan could hear someone, a voice, close to him. It was asking, "...–Shidi! Can you hear me? —
(that's all I have)

All the dramas I’ve watched in 2020
These are all the dramas that I watched in 2020, with some review there should be NO Spoilers. I think I watched a lot more than usual probably because what else am I supposed to do between school and quarantine. So this is gonna be a long one...
Crash Landing on You (Lee Jung-hyo, 2019-2020)
Main Leads: Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin
Episodes: 16, 70 to 110 Minutes
Thoughts: I enjoyed this drama, and it was a good one to start 2020 with. I thought it was a perfect blend of romance, comedy, heartfelt, found family, action, and some tragedy. I would highly recommend it, especially for those who are new to Kdramas. Also fun fact this is my first Hyun Bin drama. Rating: Fun and adorable
Tale of Nokdu (Kim Dong-hwi, 2019)
Main Leads: Jang Dong Yoon and Kim So Hyun
Episodes: 32, 35 minutes
Thoughts: I actually started watching this when it was airing but I stopped around episode 13 because of my busy schedule and finished it in the new year. I adore the main couple, the romance, comedy, the found family, and the women center story. I thought it shined the brightest when it was focused on the group and its funny and warm moments but once it got too political it kinda fell flat. I loved the ending, however. Also, I really like Jang Dong Young as an actor, I saw him in Solomon’s Perjury (2016) and Mr. Sunshine (2018) and I loved how he played Nok Du too. Rating: I love a women’s only widow village
I’ll Find You When The Weather is Nice (Han Ji-seung, 2020)
Main Leads: Seo Kang Joon and Park Min Young
Episodes: 16, 60 minutes
Thoughts: I really liked this drama, probably one of my favorites this year. As you will notice I enjoy quieter and more slow-burn stories. Also, I am a fan of Park Min Young she tends to pick more interesting and strong-willed female roles, so it is really enjoyable to watch. Rating: makes me want to own a book store.
King: The Eternal Monarch (Kim Eun-sook, 2020)
Main Leads: Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun
Episodes: 16, 70 Minutes
Thoughts: Confession; I am actually not the biggest fan of Lee Min Ho, nothing against him I just hate rich bratty characters and he tends to play them. However, I surprisingly really liked his character, he wasn’t a rich brat he actually was likable. I also really like Kim Go Eun, she is actually one of the main reasons why I watched and also with all the hype around it. Woo Do Hwan, who I have always liked, stole the whole show, however. I didn’t hate it like a lot of people, I really liked the characters, I liked the romance and the action. Also, Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun’s hugs were absolutely fabulous. It wasn’t my favorite and there were too many product placements, but I don’t think it was the worst drama this year. Rating: Lukewarm
A Piece of your mind (Lee Sang-yeob, 2020)
Main Leads: Jung Hae In and Chae Soo Bin
Episodes: 12, 70 minutes
Thoughts: I actually really liked this drama despite the low views, again I’m big on slow burn stories and character focus. I believe the episodes were cut from 16 to 12 I don’t know exactly why maybe because of the Pandemic or due to viewership or a mixture of both. Despite its being cut short I really liked the ending, and I thought the two leads were sweet. Rating: Wish we had more time to develop the characters.
Its Okay not to be Okay (Park Shin Woo, 2020)
Main Leads: Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Yea Ji and Oh Jung Se
Episodes: 16, 70 to 85 minutes
Thoughts: Out of all the dramas I talked the most about this one. I have always been a fan of Seo Yea Ji since Save Me (2017) and Lawless Lawyer (2018) and I am happy to see her getting more recognition because of this role. The entire cast was amazing and I think I cried every episode. Such a good and heart-wrenching drama which is why I chose to watch it before work every time. Rating: I would let Seo Yea Ji stab me with a knife anytime.
Mystic Pop up bar (Jeon Chang-geun, 2020)
Main Leads: Hwang Jung Eum and Yook Sung Jae and Choi Won Young
Episodes: 12, 70 minutes
Thoughts: I actually watched this while I was watching Its Okay Not to Be Okay and it was a nice balance to it because this was more of a found family story with less heartbreaking moments. Though it did have its share of heartbreak. I really liked all the characters and their relationship. Also, I am a sucker for bureaucratic fantasy/ magic, and kdramas are so good at it. Rating: I wish it was 16 episodes.
When the Camila Bloom (Cha Yeong Hoon, 2019)
Main Leads: Gong Hyo Jin and Kang Ha Neul
Episodes: 20, 63 to 75 minutes
Thoughts: I liked the story overall, the romance was cute and the mystery was interesting but I thought the family expectations was the best part of the story. This was not my favorite drama, but it was enjoyable and heartfelt. I watched it right after It's Okay Not to Be Okay and while I was watching Flower of Evil (2020) which probably is why I was so underwhelmed by it. Rating: Sweet romance and adorable found family.
Flower of Evil (Kim Cheol Kyu, 2020)
Main Leads: Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won
Episode:16, 70 minutes
Thoughts: This was my favorite drama of this year. I went into this drama not thinking much of it, and I mainly watched it as a post drama blues drama. It was an action and thriller which I mainly don’t get attached to plus I am a huge fan of Lee Joon Gi. I should have known better, I cared so much about all the characters, the acting phenomenal, also every time they showed their hands I cried. This drama left me shriveled and empty inside. Rating: Lee Joon Gi will literally kill me one day.
Put Your Head On My Shoulders (Zhu Dongning, 2019)
Main Leads: Xing Fei and Lin Yi
Episodes: 24, 40 to 45 minutes
Thoughts: This is the first Chinese drama on this list. I thought it was cute, I liked the couple and thought it was alright. I started to dislike the male lead later in the series but it was overall fine. It was basic and sweet with very little drama. Rating: It did its job.
The School Nurse Files ( Lee Kyoung Mi, 2020)
Main Leads: Jung Yu Mi and Nam Joo Hyuk
Episodes: 6, 45 to 57 minutes
Thoughts: This is probably my second favorite drama. I couldn’t tell what happened in the drama but I loved it. I thought it was weird and fascinating, and just so magical. I loved the children and just how the whole school was just off its rocker. I also think that Nam Joo Hyuk does really well in serious roles, and I thought he did a really good job here. Rating: 1 jelly heart.
Mr. Heart (Park Sun Jae, 2020)
Main Leads: Cheon Seung Ho and Lee Se Jin
Episodes: 8, 11 Minutes
Thoughts: This was 8 episodes of start fluff and I adored it. Apparently, it is apart of a BL series by Park Sun Jae and there is a movie version that I haven’t watched. If you want to destress and watch just fluff this is the show for you. Rating: If it is any sweeter I would be going to the dentist.
You are My Destiny ( Ding Ying Zhou, 2020)
Main Leads: Xing Zhao Lin and Liang Jie
Episodes: 36, 45 minutes
Thoughts: I hated this drama, I thought it was the worst thing ever. I don’t know why I even watched all 36 episodes. Apparently, it is a remake of a popular 2008 Twaniese drama Fated to Love You and there is a Korean remake of it as well. I have watched neither of them, so I was brand new to this story. I hated, despised the male lead. He was whiny, entitled, and an asshole. The only good part of the drama was the male and female lead actually had a lot of chemistry, unfortunately, they are playing awful characters. Rating: This was made in 2020???
First Romance (Ding Pei, 2020)
Main Leads: Wan Peng and Riley Wang
Episodes: 24, 45 Minutes
Thoughts: This is another Chinese drama. Similar to Mr. Heart (2020) this show was super fluffy. I really liked the main couple they seem to respect each other and they both had adorable crushes on each other. I loved the whole dumb jock and dumb artist dynamic it was so funny. Rating: Cute!!!
Lost Romance ( Eri Hao, 2020)
Main Leads: Marcus Chang and Vivian Sung
Episodes: 20, 70 minutes
Thoughts: This is the only Twainese drama on this list. I think I liked this drama, I actually only remember very little of this drama. I like the CEO in the real world more than the book world, and I also really liked the female lead except she lowkey stalked the CEO like that was not okay. Rating: I think I liked it???
When We Were Young ( Deng Ke, Liu Guo Hui, 2018)
Main Leads: Neo Hou and Wan Peng and Gala Zhang and Pan Mei and Ye Marcus Li
Episodes: 24, 45 minutes
Thoughts: I really liked this film, I loved all the characters and thought it was all very heartfelt. I cried like a baby, and Hua Biao was such a touching and relatable character. And the whole grandma story hit so close to home. Rating: Made me cry like a baby.
Moment of 18 ( Sim Na Yeon, 2019)
Main Leads: Ong Seong Wu and Kim Hyang Gi
Episodes: 16, 70 minutes
Thoughts: I really liked this drama, and I thought the romance was so cute. I also really liked the relationship between the moms and was sad that the rich mom was a bitch and ruined the friendship. I also wasn’t a big fan of the ending, but I loved the rest of it. Rating: The main lead is part of a boy group because he had a random singing moment.
Perfect and Casual ( Li Shuang, 2020)
Main Leads: Miles Wei and Xu Ruo Han
Episodes: 24, 45 minutes
Thoughts: This is another Chinese drama on this list. I’m pretty sure it's considered an Idol drama so that sets your expectations. I really liked this drama a lot, I am a big fan of contract marriages and I thought the leads were so cute together. Also, this is the first contract marriage drama where the leads don’t break up which I like. A lot of the drama came from outside of the relationship. Rating: You can’t analyze love.
Le Coup De Foudre ( Wang Zhi, 2019)
Main Leads: Janice Wu and Zhang Yujian
Episodes: 35, 45 minutes
Thoughts: My favorite Chinese drama on this list. I loved this drama, I thought it was sweet and simple and the main couple was so realistic. Unpopular opinion I disliked the second couple and the best friend I thought she was annoying and brattish. However, I adore the main couple and their relationship. Rating: Realistic sweet romance.
More Than Friends ( Choi Sung Bum, 2020)
Main Leads: Ong Seong Wu and Shin Ye Eun
Episodes: 16, 70 minutes
Thoughts: I enjoyed the overall story and characters. I loved the group and their relationships. Also, Young-Hee made me cry, and her relationship with Hyun Jae was so sweet. The main leads were also sweet, and I related a lot to Lee So. I just didn’t like the back and forth. Rating: How many times can we break up in a drama.
Be With You ( Zhou Miao, 2020)
Main Leads: Ji Xiao Bing and Zhang Ya-Qin
Episodes: 24, 45 minutes
Thoughts: This is the last Chinese drama I watched this year. It was alright, the romance was sweet, I really like the female lead, and the male lead was nice to look at. It was okay. Also, the second couple was so ??? She was his boss, enemy, and older than him, what?? Rating: Sometimes you need to fall in love to be creative.
Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo ( Kim Kyu Tae, 2016)
Main Leads: Lee Joon Gi and Lee Ji Eun (IU)
Episodes: 20, 60 minutes
Thoughts: I know I am really late watching this, but I finally did. I went in knowing this would hurt me and Lee Joon Gi already scared me this year ( damn this man) so I was fully prepared. I really wasn’t, it so much. (SPOIlERS) When Wang Eun and Park Soon Deok died I sob like a baby (SPOILER ENDING). It took me a long time to finish this show because its heart so much, like it physically hurt me. The show was really good, and heartbreaking, and the ending stabs me in the heart 20 times. Rating: Lee Joon Gi is trying to kill me with tears.
Persona ( Lee Kyoung Mi, Yim Pil Sung, Jeon Go Woon, and Kim Jong Kwan, 2019)
Main Leads: Lee Ji Eun (IU)
Episodes: 4, 19 to 27
Thoughts: This is a collection of mini-films by directors. 4 separate stories are starring Lee Ji Eun. I thought all of them good, especially “ Kiss Burn” and “Walking at Night.” There isn’t much else to this, more than it is an artistic display of filmmaking. Rating: Hipster Kdrama
Come and Hug Me ( Choi Joon-bae, 2018)
Main Leads: Jang Ki-Yong and Jin Ki-Joo
Episodes: 32, 35 minutes
Thoughts: I actually just finished this show today. I really liked it, I thought it was both sweet and heartwarming/wrenching. I hated that one journalist and the public like why are they blaming a victim. I didn’t watch it with my full mind because I’ve been distracted lately, but I did enjoy it. Rating: another cute but sad couple.
Movies I watched this year:
Spell Bound ( Hwang In Ho, 2011)
Main Cast: Son Ye Jin and Lee Min Ki
Running Time: 114 Minutes
Thoughts: I watched this at like 12 am after a bad day and it was cute. I love RomCom fantasy, which I think Korean media does really well. I don’t know what else to say except it is a really cute romance. Rating: Is it the ghost or the butterflies
The Host ( Bong Joon Ho, 2006)
Main Cast: Song Kang Ho and Byun Hee Bong and Park Hae Il and Bae Doona and Go, Ah Sung
Running Time: 119
Thoughts: This film I had to actually watch for class. It was a really good film which is expected from Bong Joon Ho. I love monster films and I thought this was a good rendition of this film. Also, The monster was so cool especially from 2006. I thought it was heartbreaking, stirring, and so beautifully shot. Rating: Oscar-worthy Direction
Little Forest ( Yim Soon-rye, 2018)
Main Cast: Kim Tae Ri and Ryu Jun Yeol and Moon So Ri and Jin Ki Joo
Running Time: 103 minutes
Thoughts: I really, really liked this film. It reminded me so much of I’ll Find You When The Weather is Nice (2020) that I thought that it was based on this film but it isn’t. I have watched this film 3 times since October and every time I watch it have made bread. I really just love everything about this film, how quiet it is, the cinematography, the acting, just everything. Rating: Three loaves of bread.
Always ( Song Il Gon, 2011)
Main Cast: So Ji Sub and Han Hyo Joo
Running Time: 106 Minutes
Thoughts: I thought it was okay, I watched it while I was knitting so I was distracted a bit. But I thought the couple was sweet, and the characters were interesting. Rating: It's Okay.
Currently watching
True Beauty ( Kim Sang-hyeop, 2020-)
Main Cast: Moon Ga Young and Cha Eun Woo and Hwang In Yeop
Episodes: 16, 70 minutes
Thoughts: This is currently an ongoing series that is actually really popular. Apparently, it is based on a webtoon, which I haven’t read. I like it so far, I always liked Moon Ga Young and I think she is a great actress. She plays Im Ju Kyung in a likable and insecure way, instead of someone annoying which could easily happen. I will be continuing watching. Rating so far: Okey dokey yo.
Live On ( Kim Sang-woo, 2020-)
Main Cast: Jung Da Bin and Hwang Min Hyun
Episodes: 8?, 60 Minutes
Thoughts: I really Like this show. The main couple is sweet and supportive. I really like the female lead, I like that she is cold and kinda quiet, but with a sweet spot if you are not a dick. I really like the main relationship conflict comes from friendship instead of romance, I think it makes the show more interesting. Rating: I want to Join a Broadcast group.
On My List:
I actually don’t have anything else on my list so if anyone has recommendations please tell me. I am thinking about watching Mr. Queen ( 2020) because I really like Shin Hye Sun. I also want to watch Sweet Home (2020) the Netflix series. But please recommend me some dramas!!!
This is such a long list, and I had fun doing it and going back over all the dramas. I hope everyone has a good New year and that we will have many more good dramas in 2021!

I have opinions.
If we’re all being honest, there’s virtually no chance that the next Dynasty Warriors game will actually include anything after the fall of Shu (Zhong Hui’s revolt being a bit of an exception.) Since the story is often framed as the plucky heroes of Shu fighting the evil armies of Wei, most fiction doesn’t really care about the outcome after Shu has been defeated. But this war had another 15 years in the tank. What would that look like, and how might it be adapted for a DW style game?
As always, I have opinions.
You can read my articles about the conflict between Jin and Wu on my other blog. I planned to write more, but then the ZZTJ translations went on lockdown so we’ll stop with Wu’s end.

BATTLES
These are the major battles between Wu and Jin (and certain rebels), the ones that would be needed to finish the story of the era.
The Siege of Yong’an (264)
By spring of 264, Wei conquered Shu and Zhong Hui’s rebellion had been put down. The Sima had no more opposition within Wei, but Wu was still a danger. The Wu emperor Sun Xiu knew that if Wei (later Jin) controlled all of Shu, Wu’s chances of survival grew dramatically slimmer. So he sent an army under Bu Xie (later reinforced by Lu Kang) to capture whatever he could in Shu.
Yong’an controlled the passage between Jing and Yi. Although most of the military was led away from the city during Shu’s downfall, a small garrison remained under the command of a minor local officer named Luo Xian. Having just sworn loyalty to Wei he refused to let the Wu army pass. For six months he held off Bu Xie and Lu Kang. Eventually, Hu Lie led a flanking attack against Xiling (Bu Xie’s headquarters), which forced the Wu army to retreat. With the victory at Yong’an, Wei’s control over all of Shu was secured.
Over the next few months, things changed dramatically in Wei and Wu. Sun Xiu passed away and, after some complex maneuvers, was replaced by Sun Hao as the new emperor. Sima Zhao passed away, leaving Sima Yan in charge of Wei. He soon dethroned Cao Huan and officially founded the Jin dynasty. For a short time, Sun Hao and Sima Yan made peace with each other, exchanging envoys and making diplomatic overtures.
The Battle of Niutun (266)
While Sun Hao was initially popular with his ministers, this popularity faded quickly due to his cruelty, superstition, and other undesirable traits. In winter of 266, a mountain bandit named Shi Dan kidnapped Sun Hao’s brother Sun Qian and marched on Jianye, intending to enthrone Sun Qian as the new emperor. At the time, Sun Hao had relocated the capital to Wuchang and left Zhuge Ding and Ding Gu in charge of Jianye. These two intercepted Shi Dan at Niutun, where they defeated him. This was a minor rebellion but an excellent way to introduce Zhuge Jing and show resentment building against Sun Hao.
Sun Hao’s Campaign (268)
Although Sun Hao and Sima Yan conducted diplomatic relations with each other, this peace broke apart in winter of 268, when Sun Hao launched a large invasion of Jin. He sent Shi Ji (son of Zhu Ran) to attack Jiangxia (likely the city of Shiyang) while Chancellor of the Righ Wan Yu marched on Xiangyang. Meanwhile, Ding Feng was sent to besiege Hefei while Sun Hao personally led an army against Shouchun. Sima Wang was sent to reinforce Hu Lie in Jing while Shi Bao commanded the defenses in Yang along with Sima Jun.
Sima Wang and Hu Lie defeated Wan Yu easily enough, forcing Shi Ji’s retreat as well. Ding Feng met with no success at Hefei and conducted relatively peaceful negotiations with Shi Bao to arrange a border instead. Having won in Jing, Sima Wang then marched east to intercept Sun Hao, who was quickly forced to retreat.
This was a significant campaign. It was broad in scope and was the last significant offensive Wu ever initiated.
The Jiao War (268-271)
During this time, a second war raged in the far south. This conflict began in 264, when Wu’s executor of Jianzhi was killed by a subordinate who defected to Wei. The neighboring commanderies of Jiuzhen and Ji’nan also submitted to Wei. Sima Zhao appointed the former Shu official Huo Yi over these territories. Shortly after this Sima Yan and Sun Hao made peace, so Jin (at the time Wei) temporarily held these territories. But when peace broke down, war over the southern regions resumed.
Initially the campaign went poorly for Wu. The commander of Wu’s southern armies, Xiu Ze, was unsuccessful in his attempts to retake the lost territories and was killed in battle at Gucheng late in 268. Jin was able to expand its sphere of control, claiming Yulin as well as a foothold in Hepu. Additional armies were sent under one Xue Xu to reestablish control throughout 269 and 270 but these efforts met with no success.
This changed in 271 when Xue Xu’s subordinate Tao Huang defeated and killed Jin’s commander in Jiuzhen. He then defeated Jin’s largest army in Jiaozhi (probably at Longbian). On the back of this momentum, Tao Huang quickly overcome the remaining Jin forces and secured the submission of local leaders, bringing the south once again under Wu’s control.
The Tufa Rebellion (270)
In 269, Sim Yan created Qin province in the northwest and appointed Hu Lie as its inspector. In 270, a Xianbei leader named Tufa Shujineng led a rebellion against Jin in the province. At the time, all of the northwest was under the command of Sima Liang, an uncle of Sima Yan. He sent Hu Lie to defeat the rebels and ordered a subordinate named Liu Qi to advance as well. However Liu Qi refused to advance, leaving Hu Lie isolated. He was subsequently killed in battle with Shujineng.
Sima Liang was blamed for this failure and stripped of office. Du Yu was appointed as the new inspector to replace Hu Lie but ran into conflict with Sima Liang’s replacement. He was accused of false charges and sent to the capital for trial; meanwhile Sima Liang’s replacement attacked the Tufa and was defeated. Sima Jun replaced him.
The rebellion spread in the next year. The tribes in Beidi (Liang province) joined the Tufa rebellion. The local inspector led an army against them but was defeated and killed at Mount Qing. Meanwhile, a large group of Xiongnu revolted as well, under the leadership of one Liu Meng. He was less successful than the Tufa and suffered a loss in Bing province in winter of 271. In spring of the next year, he was defeated again, this time by Hu Fen - Hu Lie’s brother. One of Liu Meng’s subordinates assassinated him and surrendered. Although the Xianbei remained in revolt, the Xiongnu were temporarily suppressed.
The Battle of Xiling (272)
In autumn of 272, internal conflict in Wu led to one of the last major battles of the period. Bu Chan, who controlled Xiling, defected to Jin. Yang Hu led Jin’s armies to assist him, while Lu Kang commanded Wu’s counter-attack.
Lu Kang quickly moved to surround Bu Chan at his main fortress, but he didn’t lay siege immediately. Instead he built fortifications of his own and prepared to repel the Jin troops. Meanwhile Yang Hu advanced on Jiangling, hoping to force Lu Kang to withdraw to defend it. Lu Kang destroyed a nearby dam to flood the area, slowing Yang Hu’s advance. Meanwhile, Jin’s main force arrived at Xiling but Lu Kang was able to drive them away. Lu Kang was then able to besiege Xiling at will, and he took it quickly. Yang Hu was unable to overcome Jiangling and, with Bu Chan killed and Xiling in Lu Kang’s hands, he retreated.
This was a major victory for Wu, especially when coupled with their success in Jiao and Jin’s losses in the northwest. This was a bleak time for Jin, when it seemed like they suffered losses everywhere despite the strength of their state. However, matters would ultimately turn in their favor. The next several years saw deep political divides in both states, resulting in numerous deaths. However, these events don’t work well in a DW style game and are best discussed elsewhere.
The Battle of Wuwei (276-278)
In 276, Sima Jun was given expanded authority over the northwest to deal with the Tufa revolt. He was assisted by Wen Chu, son of Wen Qin. In 277 they led a series of skirmishes against the Xianbei rebels, earning Jin’s first victories over the Tufa. In 278, however, the Inspector of Liang province led soldiers of his own against the rebels but failed. The local tribes of his army rejected his authority, and he was killed by Tufa Shujineng’s forces in battle at Wuwei. So despite the victories earned by Sima Jun and Wen Chu, the rebellion continued. Tufa Shujineng began plundering Liang, with no one seemingly able to stop him.
In 279, a commander of the palace guards named Ma Long was sent to Liang to do battle with the Tufa. He fought a series of skirmishes against the Xianbei as he marched across Liang, with his superior weaponry generally proving victorious. Ma Long eventually fought his way to Wuwei, where he and Tufa Shujineng fought a climactic final battle. Ma Long was victorious and Shujing was executed. So the rebellion that terrorized the northwest for a decade finally came to an end.
The Fall of Wu (279-280)
In winter of 279, Sima Yan ordered Jin’s armies to conquer Wu. This was a massive campaign best broken into two different phases. First, Jin’s armies secured control over Jing province. This consisted of several armies led by Hu Fen, Du Yu, and one Wang Rong attacking key points in Jing, including Xiakou, Jiangling, and Wuchang. Meanwhile, a man named Wang Jun (who gained fame after defeating a minor rebellion in Yi province) led a large naval force down the Great River, smashing through Wu’s defenses. Many of Wu’s soldiers defected to Jin, and the local commanders were quickly defeated. Only a general named Wu Yan (who gained fame during the battle of Xiling) held out.
In the east, Jin’s armies were led by Sima Zhou and a general named Wang Hun. Sun Hao organized an army under Chancellor Zhang Ti, and the most prominent commander of this force was Zhuge Jing (who defeated the rebels around Jianye in 266 and fought at Hefei with Ding Feng in 268). Despite some initial success, they were defeated by Wang Hun’s subordinate Zhou Jun near Banqiao. Zhang Ti was killed in battle, while Zhuge Jing was able to fight his way free. As Jin’s forces continued to advance on Jianye, Sun Hao sent several more armies against them, but these commanders and soldiers quickly deserted. In the end, Wang Jun sailed into Jianye and Sun Hao surrendered, bringing an end to Wu and reuniting the land.
These eight battles describe the most important campaigns between 264 and 280, the lost years of the story. (Though you could probably get by without Niutun if need be.) While it misses the internal politics that devastated the courts of both states, that sort of thing doesn’t really work very well in Dynasty Warriors anyway.
CHARACTERS
Obviously there are ton of people I’d like to include, but I’m going to focus in on the ones who are a.) absolutely vital to this part of the story and b.) aren’t one-hit wonders (like Ma Long). Those who were important outside of this specific era get precedence.
Jin
Some of the existing Jin characters would still be around for parts of this narrative. Jia Chong and Wen Chu would be present throughout the whole thing, while Wang Yuanji and Sima Zhao would be around for some of the early parts.
Hu Lie. A hero of many battles, particularly prominent during the fighting at Shouchun and the conquest of Shu, as well as several major battles depicted here. It’s frankly strange that he isn’t included already.
Hu Fen. As above, Hu Fen served with distinction in several key battles: In Liaodong, at Didao, at Shouchun, against Liu Meng, and in the conquest of Wu. Again, it’s strange that he’s not already part of the cast.
Du Yu. An in-law of the Sima family, Du Yu was a major court figure. He was also a participant in Shu’s conquest, the fighting against the Tufa, and a primary commander in the conquest of Wu.
Sima Jun. He became an imperial attendant as a child (because he was close in age to Cao Fang) and later held several substantial positions in his family’s regime. He appears to have fought at Lake Chao and against Guanqiu Jian. He definitely fought against Sun Hao in 268 and several campaigns against the Tufa in the northwest.
Sima Wang. A major figure of the family. He held a series of minor appointments in his younger years and probably participated in his family’s operations against Cao Shuang and Guanqiu Jian. He was later transferred to the northwest, where he fought witn Jiang Wei. He helped repel Sun Hao in 268 and passed away not long after that.
Wu
Of the current cast, only Ding Feng would be around for any of this. And while I can’t begin to list every Wu character I’d want to add, the ones most important for this tale would be as follows.
Lu Kang. One of Wu’s last successful commanders. He served with distinction in several battles, especially at Shouchun. He was a major figure in all of Wu’s wars and politics during this last era, and his connection to existing characters like Lu Xun makes him an easy choice. (Plus, one time in ROT3K VIII he and I fought the whole world together and won. That’s my boy.)
Zhuge Jing. In some ways the lone survivor. Son of Zhuge Dan, he was a significant general in Wu, fighting in most of their important conflicts at the end.
Bu Chan. It’s a little hard to pin down his exact career, but we can assume he was involved in all the fighting in Jing. His defection triggered a conflict that was too significant to ignore.
Wu Yan. A hero at Xiling and one of the last Wu commanders left standing. The Wu narrative needs someone like him to help bring it to a close.
Tao Huang. The conqueror of the south. Although he doesn’t have much relevance outside of that, this is Dynasty Warriors so it’s easy enough to justify him in battles in the north before that, and to have him show up in the final campaign. Another survivor of Wu’s end; with Zhuge Jing and Wu Yan he gives the faction enough people to finish the tale.
There are tons of others I could mention but these are the ones I consider the strongest and most important candidates. With these characters and these battles, you can tell the final chapter of the story and actually bring it to a close in a way that makes sense.

Personagens:
Wei Wuxian/ Wei Ying (Xiao Zhan)

Lan Wangji/ Lan Zhan/ Hanguang Jun (Wang Yibo)

Jiang Chen/ Jiang Wanyin (Wang ZhuoCheng)

Lan Xichen/ Zewu Jun (Liu Haikuan)

Jin Guangyao/ Meng Yao/ Lianfang Zun ( Zhu Zangjin)

Wen Ning/ General fantasma (Yubin)

Xiao Xingchen ( Song Jiyang)

Xue Yang (Wang Haoxuan)

Alguém cruel, vingativo e nada vulnerável a ferimentos. Ele viveu a vida despedaçando clãs despreocupado e sorridente.

WUJI – Xiao Zhan ft. Wang Yibo
Lonely City - Sun Bolun ft. Chen Zhuoxuan
Bu Wang – Wang Yibo
Qu Jin Chen Qing – Xiao Zhan
Huang Chen Du – Zhou Shen
Yi Nan Ping – Yi Ling

Zaha Hadid Architects begins construction on four-winged cultural centre in Zhuhai
A roofscape modelled on patterns of migratory birds will shelter the four wings of the Zhuhai Jinwan Civic Art Centre that Zaha Hadid Architects is developing in southern China.
The cultural building, which is under construction in the Jinwan District in Zhuhai, will be built within a lake and incorporate a 1,200-seat theatre, a multifunctional 500-seat hall, a science centre and an art museum.
Top image: it will be divided into four wings once complete. Above: the cultural centre will be distinguished by its folded roofscape
According to Zaha Hadid Architects, the goal for the building is for it to become "a hub of contemporary creativity" for the region.
Its site was therefore chosen for its proximity to the new Zhuhai Airport Intercity railway, which connects the city, its airport and Hengqin district to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Macau and Hong Kong.
The roofscape will be composed of panels made from perforated steel
Once complete, the Zhuhai Jinwan Civic Art Centre will measure 170 metres in width and 270 metres in length, from north to south. It will be divided into two large and two small wings, which will become individual venues for the theatre, multifunctional hall, science centre and art museum.
These four venues will be arranged symmetrically around a central plaza, which will serve as a shared, external foyer. This will be accessed by bridges over the surrounding lake to the banks.

Externally, the Zhuhai Jinwan Civic Art Centre will be distinguished by its distinctive, folded roof structure, which will be composed of prefabricated, triangular panels made from perforated steel.
According to Zaha Hadid Architects, these panels are modelled on the chevron patterns made by migratory birds flying in formation over southern China.
Perforations in the roof panels will help filter light inside the building and these will vary in size depending on the requirements of the spaces below.
The roof will also overhang each of the four wings, providing solar shading for their facades that will be made of double-insulated glazing.

Inside, the interior design for each of the centre's four wings will be unique, which Zaha Hadid Architects says is to ensure "the most engaging visitor experiences".
It is expected that the theatre and art museum will have a light material palette, while the multifunctional hall and science centre will have darker finishes.

The lake surrounding the centre will be introduced as part of the landscaping for the centre, which has been developed to align with Zhuhai's "sponge city" initiative. Sponge cities are being developed in urban areas throughout China to help mitigate flooding, water pollution and water scarcity.
The artificial lake will help to store excess water, and also incorporate aquatic flora and fauna that will naturally filter contaminants.
The building will be positioned on an artificial lake
Zhuhai Jinwan Civic Art Centre will be complete with a rooftop piazza, alongside an external amphitheatre on its west side that will be dedicated to outdoor performances and activities.
The building's energy consumption will be monitored and minimised through an "intelligent control" system that will automatically adjust the centre's interior environments, while a waste heat recovery system will help meet the centre's hot water demand sustainably.
Zaha Hadid Architects is the eponymous studio of the late British-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid, founded in 1979. Today the studio is headed up by Patrik Schumacher.
The Zhuhai Jinwan Civic Art Centre is the latest in a string of projects being developed by the studio across China, following the reveal of proposals for a pair of supertall skyscrapers in Shenzhen, the Xi'an International Football Centre stadium in Xi'an and Shanghai's "greenest building".
