Cleaning out your mods really makes you think sometimes. Mine mostly makes me wonder how unhinged my sims must be, that their controller/diety has a sincere love of Midcentury Modern, Grunge, Industrial, and Eco-Reclaim aesthetics for my furniture/build stuff. I've got a LOT of stuff from @teekalu, @peacemaker, @pictureamoebae, @myshunosun, @kirsicca, @gilded-ghosts, and @the-crypt-o-club

Edit: Looking at this, It just makes me want to add more decrepit/grunge to my build/furniture. Just so my werewolves and punks can have appropriately decrepit homes.

So.. believe it or not I prefer to have no cc in my worlds and on my lots because it brings me out of the immersion if it isn't flush with the Sims 4 vibe. If I absolutely need something in the catalog that I can't find then peacemaker is where I go because of their add-on collections which are literally Sims 4 duplicates just extended. I love looking at builds here on Simblr they're beautiful but it's getting harder and harder to find no CC builds so I'm thinking of reposting every build that I could find that is not full of CC. I know they're out there because I follow a bunch of no CC builders but I just want to make sure that they don't go anywhere lol

I guess I am just curious if it will look out of place to my posts. Is this why people create separate pages just for their Sims finds? So it doesn't mess the vibe of their CC making? Looking for feedback! ♡ ♡

Can someone tell me why the Sims 4 team doesn't create very long hairstyles ? Or a simple messy bun ? They do the craziest hairstyles but we just want simple everyday wearable styles guys.

a bit random, but i guess the common theme here is micro bangs. suitable for your vampires and darkly-inclined simmies (or whoever really). most of these were wips from last year and the way i make hairs has changed a bit since, but thought i'd still share them.

still not sure if i like render previews so i included CAS pics anyway. renders are nice looking but they don’t accurately preview how CC looks in-game and they can take a long time, at least on my PC still running on 2017 hardware. my GPU is decent but everything else, not so much. anyway...

Torn between wanting to actually play and engage with other people's amazing save files like Silent Pines, Windbrook, Portsim, and The Neighbouhood (my four faves at the min), and wanting to create my own save based off the town I live in, a small, rural town in the East of England, as I haven't seen any other saves really that are based in England rather than like the US or Paris?

so, i hit 1k sometime in the beginning of June ✨🥳. Which means my incessant yapping about absolutely nothing on every post I make and multiple months-long unannounced hiatuses didn't scare all of you off yet, so thanks for that y'all.

No, but for real tho, I genuinely want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for putting up with me and all my BS, so my 1k+ gift exclusively consists of hairs requested by YOU!  Which is totally about giving back to the community that has supported me and NOT just an excuse to dump all the requests that have been sitting here piling up for months.

due to how the meshes where made the Poloma Passion Twists and Monae Beads don't have root/tip controls so they’re only 2 channels the rest are 4 like normal.

credits, preview pictures, links to originals, poly counts and individual download links for every hair is under the cut.

polycounts are ALL over the place. Lowest hair is +10k, Highest one is +32k. Please reference the list under the cut before downloading!

Files comes in two flavors: Merged and Unmerged

Both types contain the exact same type of stuff (package file and preview images) except version one is one big merged file and the version has individual files.

I have noticed this trend with my culling of Sims mods, that I can love and cherish a creation, and just not fucking use it because it doesn't gel with my brain in some way. Sometimes it doesn't match the aesthetic once I plop it down next to my usual decorating style, sometimes it just doesn't mesh with how this or that Sim is in my head, or I just never, ever use it in CAS because it doesn't look right unless I use object or clothing item X with it. I don't need to have something in my game just for Completion's Sake.

It just took this long to sink in, and that's okay. It doesn't mean I love a creator's work any less, just that this or that set or item doesn't mesh with how I play my game, and that's also okay.
