Could I maybe get a Hisuian!Reader who came to Paldea through a space time rift? They remember everything, they still have all their old Pokemon, they like to share stories of their adventures (anything from taking on Volo to "Oh yeah, I caught this alpha garchomp after a half-hour standoff, here's her gigaton ball lol."), they've got little scars here and there from accidentally standing too close to Pokemon attacks or taking fall damage, and they give descendants of their Hisuian Pokemon to their blueberry friends (BBE4, Carmine, and Kieran) during their trades. To make things even more interesting, I wonder what that reader would think about bloodmoon ursaluna, Perrin, and modern Sinnoh - seeing their dear friend Adaman in someone alive today and seeing just how much things have changed over the years
The PLA fixation is real so YESSSIR I finally got around to this one. I separated the headcanons by region and their respective characters
.............
Paldea (Arven, Penny, Nemona)
After finishing your mission in Hisui, you decided to confront Arceus, being satisfied with everything you've done for the Survey Corps and the good people of Jubilife Village.
You fully finished the pokedex, fulfilling Professor Laventon's dreams, and were ready to return home.
After some reluctance, Arceus agreed and ensured you wouldn't lose any of your memories, as you didn't want all your feats in Hisui become lost to history.
It warned you that you'll never get to see Rei/Akari, Professor Laventon, the Wardens...or anyone else ever again.
But you've said your goodbyes and were ready to go back.
One warp through a space-time rift later, you were dropped off in Paldea-
Right where Arven, Penny, and Nemona were discussing whether to call off the search for you or not.
As it turns out, you've been missing for months, not long after the Area Zero adventure, and so it's a rather tearful reunion when they realize the person in the old fashioned clothing was you.
You looked tired, scarred, battle-hardened...and yet you smiled as you joked about being "back from the past".
Since then, easing back into modern life was..trickier than you expected.
You still had the habit of crafting pokeballs and potions as you were taught, rather than spend money buying them in bulk (even though you had boatloads because of your champion status).
You tried getting the trio to follow your directions, but they kept fumbling with the tumblestones and didn't know where to attach the iron chunks that made up the clasps.
When you start talking about feather, wing, leaden, and gigaton pokeballs they stare at you in confusion until you realize "oh shit those are outdated".
Nemona is VERY curious about the gigaton ball, however, and so you show it to her--revealing your Alpha Garchomp branded with the "Former Alpha" mark. She got to keep her height.
"Oh yeah, she was a real feisty one. We had a half-hour standoff on a slippery ice mountain slope but I showed her who's boss haha." You laugh as you share the story of how you encountered and tamed her.
Your fellow champion now thinks you're 10x cooler for actually facing a Pokémon head-on....while poor Arven and Penny are shook(TM) and wondered how you made it back alive.
Especially when they discover your scars are from falling and vicious Pokemon attacks
Introducing your Hisuian starter to your Paldean starter was...a little awkward. One recently became a champion's Pokémon and the other faced Giratina itself.
But they eventually shake hands and become besties, becoming members of your party whenever you wanna battle Arven, Penny, or Nemona again.
You keep accidentally calling out agile/strong style in your commands (ie "Avalugg, make an Agile Avalanche!"), but your Pokémon like to pretend they still know them.
Kitakami (Perrin & Bloodmoon Ursaluna)
Returning to Kitakami felt most familiar..and quite comforting considering how traditional everything is.
Festival of the Masks came back around, and while you didn't get to spend it with Kieran nor Carmine this time...you did wind up spending it with somebody else...
Perrin, who you were drawn to after seeing her Hisuian Growlithe getting into trouble with an Arbok and trying to stand up for itself.
Reminds you of a certain late lord's son..
She expresses her thanks for rescuing her buddy, and mentions how you got there "right on time".
You just look into her eyes and see Adaman: the Diamond Clan leader, the kind man who gave you the celestica flute and came to your aid when you got exiled from the village.
He may be gone now, but time didn't allow him to be forgotten.
Because he lives on in somebody else.
Perrin gets concerned when she sees how emotional you're getting, but you just wipe your eyes and say she just reminds you of an "old friend".
When you show her your other Hisuian Pokémon, she's THRILLED and wants to take all of their pictures, delighted to have proof that these creatures existed.
That leads her to ask how you acquired them, and you start talking about your adventures in the very region she's been studying...including the fact you met her ancestor who used to worship Dialga and had an easygoing attitude like her.
Girl is taking notes fr.
Together you seek out the "Bloodmoon Beast", only to discover that it was an Ursaluna who travelled alllll the way to Kitakami from Hisui, the environment causing it to change appearances and abilities.
You were fascinated, wondering what Lord Ursaluna or Calaba would think of him, and made him a member of your team after quelling his rage.
While going on more casual photoshoots with Perrin, you ask her about what Sinnoh is like now or if anyone there knew about Hisui.
She mentions how the elderly folk talk of it, and how the subway battle system was being run by one conductor due to the other going missing...
You find yourself holding your breath---until she says "oh but apparently he came back like yesterday" and you were SO relieved.
'Ingo made it back home, too. Thank you Arceus.'
She plans to invite you to Sinnoh someday, seeing as you're so curious about what it all looks like now.
BB Academy (BBE4, Carmine, & Kieran)
When you got to study abroad at BB Academy, you...sorta forgot all the beef you had with Kieran until you saw him berating a student out in the terarium.
A year later, you're Paldea's champion AND the one who saved Hisui, but you couldn't exactly tell him the latter.
But now you understood why everyone back then calling you a "hero" made you a little uncomfortable.
Ogerpon (who was worried sick about where you've gone all this time), was SO happy to see you were back and got to meet your Hisuian Lilligant. Two plant gals just vibing together.
You find a Kleavor in the canyon biome and become a bit sentimental, happy to see a descendant of the Lord of the Woods had survived to this very day.
He must've known you were the one who helped his ancestor (albeit not without receiving some scars from flying wood chips), as he bowed and began walking alongside you, loyal to a tee.
Least to say, he became a valuable ally when you finally battled Kieran in the championship.
He sees that you've definitely changed a lot, too. You look tougher and he was concerned about where that scar across your eye came from....
But he's still obsessed with winning, and his attitude when talking about Terapagos afterwards reminds you of...well...Volo.
It's such an extreme comparison, and you hate how your brain immediately jumped to that considering that was a legitimate monster of a man who betrayed you.
Yet it feels like such a similar situation when Kieran pits the turtle against you in the Underdepths, obsessed with power and wanting nothing more than to be recognized as "worthy".
At least he wasn't planning on ending the world, just yours.
After you both reconcile, you spill the beans about where you've gone for the past year, expecting him to laugh or shun you again for keeping such a big secret from him.
Instead..he has this star-eyed look and wanted to know MORE.
So during your next visit to Kitakami, you tell him and Carmine some stories of your Hisuian adventures, showing off Kleavor and your Alpha Garchomp.
Seeing that you still liked to make authentic pokeballs and potions made Kieran appreciate you a lot more. Kitakami used to have a lot of those apricorns, tumblestones, and leeks before everything became mass-produced.
Like him, you really became out-of-touch with today's technology, so while he's learning it, you're re-learning it along with him.
Eventually you tell those same stories to the BB E4, who are all just as shocked, amazed, and bewildered as the twins were.
And when they all came to offer up a trade, you knew what to do:
For Drayton, you gave him a Goomy, insisting that he trains it fully, not wanting to spoil the "surprise".
As lazy as he is, he does so and is stunned when Sliggoo is revealed to be chilling in its own shell, and Goodra had its whole shell on its tail, capable of withdrawing into it anytime
Ngl it makes him wish he had his own shell to withdraw into just to escape situations.
For someone like Kieran who likes old-fashioned stuff, you figured a Hisuian Voltorb would suit him best.
Its appearance reminds you of the olden ways pokeballs were made, and he got the hang of crafting a few himself after a little trial and error!
He gets nervous about it exploding like Kantonian Voltorbs at the slightest touch, but is happy to find out it's super friendly and discharges just to spook humans.
As for Carmine, the sharpness in her golden eyes reminds you of a certain ghost type's...and thus you believed giving her a Hisuian Zorua was ideal. You had a feeling she'd love its evolved form.
When she does evolve it, she's stunned that it has reddish highlights like she does, jokingly asking if this is her in "another life".
Least to say, she loves it indeed.
While you were adamant about giving Amarys your Kleavor, you ended up trading her a Scyther and give her a black augurite afterwards, explaining how it's the secret to its other evolution.
She mentioned deposits of that mineral existing within the canyon biome, but it couldn't actually evolve the surrounding Scyther population due to being simulated.
But thanks to you, she gets to witness that in-action because you held onto an authentic piece of it, and she gives you her thanks.
As for Crispin, well, you believed a Hisuian Growlithe was perfect for him. It was energetic, loyal, and full of fire..just like him.
He got teary-eyed at the story you told of the late Lord Arcanine, his son, how you quelled his frenzy, etc..and feels inspired to train the pup you've given him into something incredible.
One thing Kantonian and Hisuian Arcanines have in common? They love spicy foods.
For Lacey, you trade her a Hisuian-born Petili, encouraging her to use the sun stone right away.
She does and is delighted to see Lilligant as such a graceful dancer..who really packs a punch when it counts!
She'll definitely doll her up and ensure she knew Charm (the only fairy move Hisuian Lilligant could know, alas).

Ok headcanon time.
I've seen lots of headcanons about Emmet always saying "I am Emmet" simply because it could be a verbal stim, or he just automatically starts doing so because people confuse him with Ingo.
But hear me out.
He starts doing it because of Legends Arceus.
Before I dive into this, quick tw of mentions of death, as well as panic attacks. Also possibly derealization and depersonalization? I'm not sure how to describe what's down below I'm not trying to be offensive.
So, the event of Ingo being sent to Hisui happens before the events of Black and White. Except it's not a he-was-gone-for-months-or-years kind of thing. He just blips, faster than the blink of an eye, but being in Hisui felt like an eternity to him. He's still in his Subway attire after the whole ordeal, still has his Pokemon, and most importantly, still has his memories. He remembers everything about himself, but also recalls forgetting everything in Hisui.
Now I'm imagining this could happen when the twins are on the Multi Train waiting for a challenger for instance. They're bored out of their minds, with Emmet impatiently tapping his foot and Ingo nearly falling asleep. Then just as Ingo closes his eyes, Hisui happens, and he's jolted awake with a choked gasp.
Emmet is of course frightened, frantically asking Ingo what's wrong. But the older Subway Boss is in shock and clearly distressed. Ingo can only clutch his chest as he gasps and wheezes for breath. He feels as though his heart is pounding too fast for his body, he's suffocating. Can't breathe. Can't get enough oxygen-
But he's alive. His heart is beating, he can feel the cold chills through his body, the trembling... He's not dead out in ancient Sinnoh. But he still can't calm down. He's freaking out about what happened to him. Was that some weird nightmare? No, he swore everything was real. The Zoroarks, the Alphas, Giratina, Arceus, the fear still made itself home in his brain. The Pearl Clan, his Pokemon, Lady Sneasler, they created a warm fuzzy feeling in him for a split second as he recalled them. And yet he remembered all those cold, lonely nights he'd cry alone to himself for the man who looked like him, his twin brother Emmet.
And Ingo breaks down crying right then and there. He's so overwhelmed from emotion, unable to process years of events and emotions and memories in just seconds. He's hyperventilating, crying choked sobs as it feels like his poor heart is going to give out. Was he really in Hisui? He was back in the subway train, wasn't he? Like nothing ever happened? Did Arceus rip his soul from his body for that split second, and that's why his body is utterly convinced he's going to die-
And through the gasping, the crying, his heartbeat pounding in his ears, he hears Emmet's voice call out to him worriedly but calmly through it all. Ingo held onto that voice like a lifeline. It had been merely a few seconds since he heard his twin's voice, yet it had been decades. He clings onto his baby brother for dear life, registering that he's right here, Emmet is right here, and Ingo is at his side. Emmet had given up on trying to ask Ingo what's wrong, now only concerned with helping Ingo calm down. Ingo's a crying mess for a long time, but he eventually cries himself out, now too tired to keep sobbing.
Emmet takes that chance to ask Ingo if he's ok. Ingo replies that he's unsure. Physically he's fine, but... He shudders and leans against Emmet more. Emmet asks him to elaborate. Ingo was positive that Emmet would think he's gone crazy, but Ingo was so shaken up he didn't know what else to do. He explains everything, the events of Hisui, feeling like he wasn't even in his own body for a split second, and forgetting his own twin. Ingo gets choked up again and Emmet reminds him to breathe.
Even though the whole experience was traumatizing, the only thing Ingo could focus on was that he forgot Emmet. His memories are still intact now, but he knows he forgot him in Hisui. And for some reason, that terrifies him more than any space-time anomaly. He weakly chokes out that he didn't want to forget Emmet again. He could forget trains, he could forget Unova, just don't take his brother away from him again.
Of course Emmet is caught off guard by all this. But his normally unshakable brother was breaking down in his arms, and he had never seen Ingo this upset in his entire life. If Ingo had a reason to be upset, then what he said must be true, because Ingo wasn't acting like himself at all. They're Subway Bosses, they've seen it all.
Emmet reassures Ingo that he believes him. His distress his valid. But Emmet also proposes an idea. He'll remind Ingo that he is Emmet as often as he can. And from then on, he'll make a habit of saying "I am Emmet" at the start of every other sentence, for Ingo's peace of mind. It becomes such a habit, that he even says it when he's not talking to Ingo. He starts using a sort of script when introducing himself to passengers, saying "I am Emmet. I am a Subway Boss. I like Double Battles. I like combinations of two Pokemon. And I like winning more than anything else." He starts using short and brief sentences to describe himself to anyone new to him, as well as using it to keep Ingo grounded whenever he has another panic attack about his memories.
And even years later, even after the events of Black 2 and White 2, Ingo still finds comfort in hearing his little brother say "I am Emmet."
This got waaaaay out of hand but I needed somewhere to jot my thoughts

About your doppelganger!akari au, I was wondering, what are Barry and Lucas’s thoughts on there basically being two Dawns now? Did they get along with Akari immediately or not? 👀
Barry thinks its cool to have two Dawns Akari doesn't actually tell them who she is until Lucas demands answers from the legendary dragons why the fuck there's a replica of his best friend running around Sinnoh in 200 year old clothes :) And yess, they are! Theyre get along with Akari immediately after they find out who she is ! Akari will be suffering a lil bit, going through her memories(hi Rei from memories) and feelings about her alternative version(hi Dawn!), but she will be OK cause Barry and Lucas good friens hehe After this conversation, Barry fines Akari 100 billion for an alternate Barry for her missing. And calls alternative Barry and Lucas Larry and Bucas. Just because i think its funny. :)

DxP REWRITE - A Familiar Face
Ingo’s estimation would’ve been more precise (like down to the minute, maybe second) if he still had his watch or phone. ⏱️ I’m not sure how long it would take to get from Hokkaido (Sinnoh) to the Tokyo area (Kanto) & back. There’re Pokémon she can ride, too, some being as fast as some vehicles, so I honestly forget how I came to this number anyways lol.
Meanwhile Mizumi, like many on the Survey Corps, quickly learned that to draw fast & accurately for the Pokédex is a must-have skill. Shortly after meeting Ansy at the Crystal Pool, she was sure to draw this out for her own reference, & for this moment.
PS: Just a small refresher about how Ingo would be reminded of Ansy when he looks at Mizumi. I thought it interesting how Ingo assumingly didn’t have any memories of his past until we (the player) showed up, & walked with him up the Coronet Highlands. He briefly recovers (& seemingly loses) memories of Chandelure & Emmet. That made me think that maybe she looks like someone he knew, & maybe seeing a picture of that actual person might help him remember more solidly. After all, a picture is “less ephemeral than memories”.

feed us your gen 4 headcanons
Dawn is the protagonist of Plantinum. By the time he becomes the protagonist of Legends Arceus he's started his female to male transition and is going by Rei.
Rei's ace in Sinnoh is a bibarel, the first pokemon he ever caught. Barry told Rei that bidoof are kind of lame and Rei became dead set on proving them wrong. Rei's ace in Hisui is the alpha kricketune that was bothering Lord Wyrdeer, who Rei began training to prove that pokemon aren't so scary.
Barry is nonbinary and uses she/they/fae pronouns.
Rei has clinical depression but unlike some people he never tried to destroy the world over it.
Lord Avalugg was the original hero's companion and is still alive in modern Sinnoh, slumbering under Snowpoint City.
Rei died in 1942 at 85 years old of natural causes.
Cynthia is a direct descendant of Rei via an orphaned Celestic child he adopted.
Cynthia's spiritomb is Vessa, who has stayed close to the family since Rei helped her. The Azure Flute is also a family heirloom.
Cynthia lost her eye to an infection after her garchomp scratched it as a gible. She has a prosthetic eye under her bangs and likes to tell people her garchomp once clawed a person's eye out.
After Rei dissappeared, Cynthia was reinstated as Sinnoh champion and hasn't been beaten since.
Giratina thinks they can fix Cyrus let's see how that goes for them.
Giratina was Rei's pokemon (he called them Tina), and since his dissappearence has been a companion of Cynthia.
Cyrus is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns.
Cyrus had an interest in pokemon contests until a bad experience led them to dropping them.
Mars studied history once but it led to her to have a very pessimistic view of the world.
Lucas is dyslexic.
Professor Rowan has a pretty severe allergy to feline pokemon.
Professor Rowan wants to strangle Professor Oak with a coat hanger, a sentiment he is completely oblivious to.
Barry eventually starts working at the Battle Tower with his dad.
Maylene, Candice, and Cyrus are no contact with their families.
Candice and Maylene like to hike together.
Fantina's father is from Kalos but she has never actually been there herself.
Crasher Wake is Fantina's pokemon contest rival.
Some time after Rei disappears, Johanna goes back to doing pokemon contests full time. She's close with Fantina and Crasher Wake.
It's tradition for Roark and Byron to spend the day together in the Sinnoh underground on Roark's birthday.
Gardenia is a secret base master.
Roark and Gardenia have made a game of hunting down each others' secret bases and setting up traps for each other.
Bertha and Aaron are actually really good friends, which everybody is surprised to learn. They often walk along Victory Road together and talk.
Lucian is schizophrenic.
Of the elite four, Lucian was the closest with Rei.
Ingo is Flint's great-something grandmother.
Shortly post-Plantinum Volkner and Flint got engaged.
Barry and Rei were dating before he disappeared.
Barry and Nate are exes.
Cynthia and Cyrus are both aroace and completely uninterested in romantic or sexual relationships of any kind.
Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina all have at least some resentment over Arceus they've been stewing over for at least a couple thousand years. These eldritch dragons have daddy issues. Giratina especially has not forgiven Arceus for what it did to Rei, but has given up on revenge.
After Cogita was released from her curse and eventually died, Enamorus went to Galar with Professor Laventon where she cycles through human disguises. She's currently living as Opal.
Uxie periodically erases Darkrai's memories at their request, despite Cresselia's protests.
Yeah idk what to say Darkrai and Cresselia are kind of doomed yuri coded.... 🤔
Regigigas' true form is a lot bigger than their pokedex entry states, the body they appear in is something they crafted to better work on new creations.
When phione and manphy migrate by Sinnoh waters, they create a beautiful lightshow underwater that people travel from all over to watch.
Shaymin migration is also an incredible spectacle. Sinnoh is one of the only regions where so many mythical pokemon can be so freely observed.
The lake trio are carnivorous and love eating fish. Their fangs are razor sharp.
Heatran is there. I guess.

AAAAA im thinking about Ingo in Legends Arceus again. They really fucking did that. Im so insane about it, like-
Okay. So. You have this preestablished thing in Pokémon called Fallers. Basically its people who fell into the pokemon world from an entirely different universe. Sometimes theyre alternate versions of known characters. The one thing they all have in common is that they remember nothing from before they fell.
With me so far? Good.
Now we move onto Legends Arceus. Here we are, some hundred or so years in the distant past, exploring the wonderful land of Hisui when, hold on, is that Ingo? The train man? You're in the wrong time period, my guy! And what's that? His memory's gone? Damn that sucks, alt-Ingo got a real shitty deal when he Fell. Trains haven't even been invented yet smh.
Anyway, case closed. Just another Faller making the best of what they have. Cool, but nothing new, lets move on right?
Except. Maybe not.
You see, this "Hisui" region has a little bit more going on with it. Its actually the ancient version of the modern day Sinnoh region, and theres all kinds of fun little details tying the two together: location names, area themes, little nods to Sinnoh myths and pokedex entries, the whole nine yards. Huge gen 4 nostalgia trip. Theres even a bunch of characters that are just blatantly ancestors of important DPPt characters. And you betcha the pokemon match as well!
Yeah, thats cool, but what does this have to do with Ingo again? Weelll, turns out, two of those gen 4 pokemon makin a comeback just so happen to be the gods of time and space. And things have gone a bit fucky with them.
There are these things called "space-time distortions" going around, popping up all over the place, sitting there lookin like big, spooky soap bubbles, and spitting out objects and pokemon from all over the timeline. We're talking dinosaurs and data viruses. Because of these things, Porygons technically existed before the computers that birthed them. And while its never explicitly stated that they're how Ingo got there, how else do you suppose the New Yorker ended up in feudal Japan?
"Alright, that makes sense, but didn't you say he lost his memory? Isn't that kinda a whole thing with fallers?"
Oh yeah, right, thanks for catching that! I guess this was a bust after all. Time travel's not exactly new to the pokemon universe, and it doesn't usually cause memory loss, barring extenuating circumstances. (Ingo didn't turn into a pokemon, so I think we're safe on that front) This isn't even the first time Dialga's gone mad, actually! He must really be a Faller then. I mean, what are the odds that Ingo just tripped into a random space-time distortion, only to run into something entirely unrelated that just so happens to be well known for erasing memories, perfectly replicating the symptoms of a Faller?
Buckle up, this is where things get interesting.
So, when Ingo faceplanted in Hisui, he got picked up by this group called the Pearl Clan. They're this native tribe that worships Palkia, but like, under the wrong name, and they think Dialga's a false version of their god worshipped by these other natives, and they're actually kind of both right, except not, because they thought the were actually worshipping the creator god, Arceus, and it's this WHOLE thing. That's not important. What matters is that they picked up Ingo. Just. Remember that. Pearl grabbed Ingo.
Now, aside from the two big gods and their good ol' poppa Arceus, there's actually another trio of minor gods who took care of smaller business. Relatively. They like to rest at the bottom of three lakes spread around the region, and each one represents a certain gift they were said to have given to the world: Uxie, God of Knowledge; Mesprit, God of Emotion; Azelf, God of Willpower. When Arcues made them, the went out, did their thing, gave their gift, then went straight to bed in their lakes, where they stayed for... pretty much ever. Yeah, these guys are actually pretty chill. Apparently theyre tied for highest base friendship out of all pokemon?
Getting back to the Pearl clan, their camp in the Alabaster Icelands is actually pretty close to Lake Acuity! Way closer than any other settlements are to the lakes, at least.
I know what you're thinking: "What does ANY of this have to do with Ingo's memories??" Well, there's one more thing we need to cover about the lake trio. Y'see, there's this little myth about them, hidden away on a shelf in the back of modern day Canalave library. As calm and relaxed as they usually are, its easy to forget that they're still gods. Powerful gods. Direct decendants of Arcues themself, embodiments of the very gifts which they gave unto the world. The myth goes that, should someone be foolish enough to raise their hand against the lake gaurdians, they would quickly find that those gifts can be taken away.
Harm Azelf, and find yourself as still as stone, drained of even the willpower needed to move. Touch Mesprit, and find yourself in a pointless world, drained of all emotions, joyless and empty.
…Look into Uxie's eyes, and find yourself lost and confused, fallen into a world unknown, without even the knowledge to find your way back to a home you can't remember.
...Yeah
Hisui is plaqued by Distortion, ripping creatures out of their proper Time and Space. Uxie makes their home at the bottom of Lake Acuity, just outside where the Pearl Clan makes camp. The Pearls found Ingo alone, no memory of his past, no evidence of how he came to them.
So you see now. How I might be a little obsessed.
Oh, are you still wondering if he's actually a Faller or not? Well…
I HAVE NO FUCKING IDEA!
This was the first game he appeared in since Black and White 2, and he hasn't been mentioned since! His story is never expanded on!!!
He's probably? not??? Unless he fell out of an ultra wormwhole and into a distortion?? And the ultra beasts couldn't find him??? They literally NEVER hint at a possible cause for his arrival in game, I think. We're just. Left. With this.
What the fuck.
#ingo#warden ingo#subway boss ingo#pokemon legends arceus#um#holy shit#i have NO IDEA where this came from??#i just#saw some cool art that got me thinking about ingo#and i started ranting about him in my head when i paused and thought#''Oh shit ive got a lot to say actually. i should write this down''#and then it turned into this???#i haven't even been into pokemon recently?!?#what happened to the fucking Sonic hyperfixation brain?????#also in case you cant tell i love the lake trio#im really proud of how i presented the myth#my writing#< i guess??#anyway uh#enjoy lmao???

Please take this ask as a way to ramble about your dystopia au or post some art about it (really just wanna know more about it)
oh gosh thank you! 🥹💖
I can talk about Volo and his situation a bit! I don't think I've mentioned this stuff here yet (if I have I apologize!) So the way that Volo got to this world is that he got tossed through an Ultra Wormhole. (btw the Volo I'm talking about here is the Volo we know from PLA, the one who lost and disappeared after the battle at the Temple of Sinnoh - I usually refer to him as og Volo so as to not confuse him with Emperor Volo XD) But yeah! Those who know/remember lore from Sun and Moon about the Ultra Wormholes/Ultra Beasts/etc will remember things/traits that Volo will now have. Aka he's a Faller :0 Soooo, amnesia for one. Though he'll still have memories of his goal with Arceus and such, but other things for him will be fuzzy or just not able to be recalled at all 🥺 Not only that but, well... he's essentially Ultra Beast bait 😳 Because Fallers have that trait too.
So, when this happens, well... you can see why:
Blacephalon was able to detect him in an instant! 😭
So yeah! Hmmm... I have no idea what else to say about him specifically that won't be major spoilers for later on XD However, this really is partly a big redemption story for him! He gets thrown into this world, doesn't know how or why and finds that he has holes in his memory... though he still remembers things like his goal and wanting to achieve that. Just... unbeknownst to him, he's going to end up learning that maybe things didn't turn out so well when his other self got that wish... He'll still have all his Pokemon by the way! Pokemon like his Garchomp will definitely be pivotal in battles (battles are much more intense here and play out more like war... humans will utilize weapons too). Togekiss is very important as well, especially to the Resistance! I could go into that detail more as to why if anyone is interested! It's not really huge spoilers! I kinda feel like I've rambled quite a bit so... I'll leave you with a sneak peek of some dystopian!Emmet art I'm working on! Since I mentioned humans using weapons, he'll end up being an archer of sorts! Mainly uses a crossbow, but can use a standard bow and arrow as well! He many weapons for the Resistance, including his own, carved masterfully out of wood (Alder is the one who taught him how to do woodworking from the time he found him all alone 🥺). He also makes his own arrows! Initially he likely uses feathers from common birds like the Pidove line for them, but eventually might use feathers from Togekiss or, even later, the Archeops he manages to catch.
(Bow needs design, but I didn't want to leave you with just art I've already shown before ;; so here's something new and recent!)
Thank you so much for asking about the AU! 🥹💖

Pokemon Legends Arceus has me in a stranglehold. Here are some of my headcanons for Ingo and Akari.
Ingo
Unova
Not actually that old. Disappeared at age 30. He had been in Hisui for three years by the time Akari arrived.
He learned the basics of dragon wrestling from Drayden, their uncle, when he got his axew. This would come in use more than either of them ever expected.
Ingo and Emmet had lived with Drayden since they were 9. Opelucid City is like a second home to them. They had lived in Nimbasa for the first part of their life.
They met Elesa when they were all students at Opelucid Academy and journeyed together.
They were roommates when they all first moved to Nimbasa City as adults, when Elesa was working as a gym trainer and the brothers were depot agents.
Ingo and Emmet continued to live together.
Ingo and Emmet occasionally babysitted their nephew (technically first cousin once removed), Drayton.
They would let him challenge the Battle Subway. He was also not pleased with Ingo’s Earthquake strategy.
Ingo disappeared while Drayton was in his first year at the Blueberry Academy.
Ingo disappeared while doing simple maintenance in a tunnel at the end of the day. He had left his pokemon behind to heal.
Emmet was the one to notice he didn’t return first.
Hisui
Ingo crash-landed high in the Icelands during the first snowstorm of winter.
He was found by Lady Snealser, who saw some light and investigated, and taken to the Pearl clan.
The Clan decided to let him winter with them. He was nice and a little pathetic.
He found gligar first and a magnezone later. His ability to train and bond with pokemon that he hadn’t been raised with was astounding to the pearl clan.
He cemented his place with them when he protected a group from an alpha Piloswine without hesitation.
He‘s a little weird, talks nonsense a lot of the time, but he’s their mountain cryptid man.
Lady Sneasler quickly picked him to be her new warden once she was sure the clan liked him too.
When he first got handed a flute, he blew it like a train whistle. His own pokemon and the sneasel kits will come to that sound.
Irida and the other wardens were Not happy when he told them he got pokeballs from the newly arrived Team Galaxy folk during his second summer. Thankfully, his Pokemon were happy with it. He also had several Very large Pokemon that took up a lot of space inside the settlement.
It was the start of his third spring in Hisui when Akari fell from the sky.
He looks older than 33 due to naturally gray hair, living in the mountains with poisonous sneasels for several years, desperately needing a multivitamin, an iron supplement, and a proper bed, wearing a tattered coat and hat, and forgetting his modern hygiene routine.
Akari
Sinnoh
Akari is a cousin of Dawn’s.
She spent some time helping out in Rowan’s lab when Lucas left to travel for a bit with Dawn and Barry.
She did a pokemon journey, but preferred exploring and seeing pokemon in their natural habitat. She didn’t end up challenging the League, even though she was a competent trainer.
She studied at Sinnoh’s Lily Academy for a couple years.
Akari was an exchange student to Blueberry Academy. She was a part of the Terarium Club. She had all the pokemon and habitats memorized there. She disappeared before she got to see the club complete their semester project of evolving a Scyther into its historic evolution.
She met Drayton, who was in his second attempt at his second year. She was not impressed by his lax attitude, but liked battling him for fun.
Hisui
Has memory loss similar to Ingo. She does remember notions and concepts, like humans and Pokemon living together, gyms/contests, catching Pokemon techniques, battle techniques, etc. But anything specific, like her own Pokemon or family or gym challenge, is blurry.
She keeps the outfit she arrived in at the back of her storage bin in her quarters.
Really enjoys completing research tasks for the Professor. There’s something almost familiar about it…

cw: Volo being himself,
pairing: Volo/Reader
You should have been scared when a certain blond appeared before you as you worked on your survey tasks. He stood, after all, tall and looming and just at a distance for you to know that he was there but not close enough for you to feel the immediate need to call for help. A few weeks had passed since the incident at the Temple of Sinnoh. You honestly had not expected to see him ever again, yet…
Here he was.
Watching.
Waiting.
Volo was something extraordinary.
You truly could only ponder the madness than drove him. But even that would be interrupted by how striking he could still be. It hurt more than it should have – having fallen for such a man. Volo was attractive. That was something no one would dare deny. But, his kindness had truly lured you in. At your lowest, alone and desperate, he had appeared and been the light to guide you. Then, he turned around only to burn you and leave you with a festering wound. A desperation overtook you. Caution was thrown to the wind as you approached him, getting further and further away from any help that would save you should this go awry.
He gazed at you intensely as you stood a few paces off from him. That single exposed eye stared into your very soul, almost as if he were deciphering the very secrets hidden within. He approached you in turn, standing just before you. It occurred to you only then that he could easily kill you with you having little time to react. He was physically strong and hardened by the rough ways of Hisui. There was no doubt that he had likely had to defend himself in the past. Hands lifted, and you half expected them to go for your neck. Instead, they cupped your face. His forehead rested against your own.
Your mind rushed to intimate times you had spent wrapped up with him. His body almost consuming your own as he took and took. Warmth rushed through you. He was confusing. Part of you wished only to understand his mind. Those recesses of his mind must hold such horrifying memories to drive him into doing such madness and desperation to usurp the creator of the world itself.
“… I have decided…” his voice was low, a rare thing, “I'm not letting you go.” The words held a terrifying edge. His hands shifted to grasp your wrists. He hummed as he closed his eyes. “… If I cannot have Arceus,” he continued, “I'll take its chosen one instead.”
Despite the anxiousness coursing through your veins, you felt so warm in his hold.
You knew that you were not escaping this.

i remember seeing a post from you about ribbons and aimilios copying dusknoirs mannerisms (iirc.. memory is a bit foggy) and i wanted to propose an idea: the two scamps can also copy what he says/said, in a scarily accurate way tone-wise and how he looked when said it.
aimilios asking ribbons one day if she ever wonders what happened to team skull after the events at brine cave and she just turns to him and gives him the most evil looking squint and answers with a tone thats somewhat accurate to dusknoirs with "That name.. means very little to me.". aimilios just looks at her for a moment before applauding her for being so surprisingly accurate with how the big man said it and dusknoir just looming in the corner with wide eyes wondering why she said it like that, or aimilios needing to go out to do some errands so he says his farewells to ribbons and dusk before turning around and going "Actually.. it's too late for farewells! You two.. are coming with me!" before getting ribs' and dusknoir to go out with him, all the while ribbons is hollering and laughing as she didn't expect HIM of all pokemon to do that as well whereas dusknoir is heavily conflicted over how they manage to do his voice so well and why they choose the most haunting words he has said to them to do that.
Sinnoh how does it feel to be the inventor of comedy gold

HELLO HI
God I love the Submas fandom, all of you are so nice <3
In any case, I have a silly Au for y'all to munch on.
Allow me to introduce you all to Covalent Twins :]

Covalent
Adjective
- Relating to or denoting chemical bonds formed by the sharing of electrons between atoms.
Or in this case, the sharing of Emmet between 2 Ingos from different timelines NSNDNNDDD.
This Au is essentially the answer to the question: "doesn't being sent to the distant past inherently mean you are also now long dead in the future you just left?"
The answer is yes and no btw
The explanation for this involves a lot of time nonsense that I'm very bad at explaining but the Tldr is basically this:
When Ingo gets sent to the past, this creates a connection between the past and the future. This makes time get all fucky and split into two separate timelines (Timeline A and Timeline B)
Timeline A:
Time in this timeline runs parallel to the future as long as Ingo stays within it (essentially, if Ingo stays in the past for 2 years, then 2 years pass in the present).
Due to this connection, Akari (aka Dawn) gets sent to this timeline (But not Timeline B) and the game events of PLA play out (+ a lot more Ingo bonding because uncle Ingo supremacy)
Akari manages to get her and Ingo sent back home with the power of Arceus, causing both timelines to merge back together again into one cohesive line with only the events of Timeline B being remembered by history.
Ingo and Emmet get their happy ending.
This Ingo got sent to Hisui when he was 29, stayed there for 2 years, and went home when he was 31.
And Timeline B:
This timeline was created as a cannon fodder timeline so Akari and Ingo can keep doing time shenanigans in Timeline A without disturbing the space time continuum even more.
This timeline is therefore not connected to the future the same way Timeline A is.
The Ingo of this timeline (Nicknamed "War" or "Warden" for simplicity.) lives through the PLA game events but with Rei taking the place of Akari.
War doesn't bond with him the same way Ingo does with Akari because Rei isn't a faller.
The events of the game are the exact same (minus the Arc phone, Rei taking the place of Akari, and catching Arceus).
Despite Rei calming the nobles and catching Palkia and Dialga, he is still not the chosen hero. Warden is unable to go home or regain his memories.
Warden lives in Hisui and serves as a warden for the Pearl Clan for a total of 7 years before dying alongside his partner pokemon, Gliscor (nicknamed Nimbasa), while protecting Lady Sneasler from a Zoroark attack at the age of 36.
Warden drifts as a ghost for many years, with only Nimbasa the Gliscor as company. He watches his friends grow old, and eventually die. They pass on to the afterlife, but Warden stays on earth, wandering the Alabaster Icelands and Mount Coronet, searching for people from a life he can't remember even in death.
Warden watches as Hisui changes into Sinnoh. Jubilife Village becomes Jubilife City. Pokemon species die out and new ones are born.
As the world slowly becomes more and more familiar, the great Sinnohs, Palkia and Dialga, take pity on the lost warden, and decide together to lead him home.
It may take 150 years, and many miles of travel, but Warden is pulled by an unknown force towards the Unova region. Though he is unable to touch anything or speak to anyone, it's all so painfully familiar.
He is pulled towards Nimbasa city, (ah! That's where he got the name from!) and eventually to an apartment.
There, he is greeted by a young girl, barely 17. A man in black, who looks exactly like him, give or take a few years and a few scars.
And a smiling man in white. The man he has been searching for for over 150 years...
And they're staring at him, truly staring at him, not through him.
Why is the man in white crying?
*evil laughter.mp3*
So yeah! The twins have an older brother now :D
I mean he's dead and also Ingo just 5 years older and from a different timeline but still!!!
If you've made it this far I believe you deserve a gold star ⭐ and also some art for your troubles.
So here's War and Nimbasa ↓

And some fluffy interaction between War and Emmet as a bandaid.

If you guys have any questions regarding how this Au works, or are interested in seeing more of it, don't hesitate to shoot me an ask :D
I hope I enjoyed reading about my silly Au, even if it was a bit long lol.
*fades back into the void of Submas fics.*

I know this comic and the reunion is done and over with and I love it the way it is! Thank you for the hard work!
Even with it being finished I like to imagine that once Ingo is all healed up again, got some fresh clothes and a haircut he will slowly return back to Gear Station. Defiinitely not as Boss in the beginning he’s really tagging along with Emmet until he gets the hang of things again.
But he will definitely teach Emmet some Hisuian Battle strategies and I can also see them visiting Sinnoh at some point too! Their reunion definitely brings new insights and dynamics into their daily lives and they both apprechiate each other even more now!
(Also this isn’t a request, more an open suggestion but I‘d like to see Ingo‘s Pokémon react to him being back when he‘s patched and cleaned up)
(In reference to this comic)
Aaaaa tysm for your kind words!!
Fr, I can picture Ingo shadowing Emmet for a while as he slowly relearns the schedules and procedures (and as his memory slowly returns!) and of course Ingo would have to tell Emmet about all the wonderful (and terrifying!) experiences he had in hisui :3 he would def show emmet the Hisui battle style, maybe it could become a special challenge aboard the singles line 🤔….
I love reunion submas so muchhh <3 they of course already love eachother as brothers but for sure appreciate each other even more after having been apart for so long 💔
Fr!! I think all their Pokémon would immediately slam into Ingo and force him into a cuddle pile lol, Chandelure of course would be inseparable from Ingo for weeks probably, all his Pokémon would be overjoyed to have their trainer back!! (Maybe I’ll make a doodle/comic of this sksksksk)
Here’s a bonus page I cut bc I ended up writing more than my original thumbnails! I post it now as thanks:

#sorry it took me so long to respond to this anon!
