Well, we’re almost to the end of season 7. Part of me is a little sad that it’s almost over, mostly because this has kind of been a blessing of an escape from reality for a bit, due to stressful personal life stuff. But that said, wanted to add a little to the discussion about last night’s episode. Will break it down by character groupings, starting with the obvious bee in everyone’s bonnet-Seth.

Seth & Miles: So Seth really got under everyone’s skin in different ways. I get why Miles was pissed at him. In real life I know people like that too, those people who some how seem to be able to effortlessly skirt the system and benefit from it, while those of us who work our butts off tirelessly sometimes doing the work of two or three people (with no extra thanks/credit) are still making less money, or have to work twice as hard just to be considered for the promotion. That said-karma is a bitch.

Seth & Lucy: I think the person who really had the most legitimate axe to grind with Seth, was Lucy, who was handling her irritation like a pro BTW. I don’t know how she didn’t blow her top at Tamara immediately. Although I was a little miffed when she blew off Grey when Tamara came rolling into the station (was thinking, like girl your boss is cool but maybe wait until he dismisses you before you go talk to your ex roomate?).

Tamara & Lucy: Tamara I was less impressed with. Yes she’s young, but boy was she ignorant. She didn’t listen to Lucy AT-ALL. For all they had been through together and what Lucy did for her, there should have been a small inkling of trust or benefit of doubt there. It was like everything Lucy said about Seth went in one ear and went out the other. I’m sorry but Tamara owed Lucy a heads up on the whole engagement thing, and not ambushing her like that. I don’t think it should have been Lucy who had to apologize (but then, Lucy’s probably more emotionally mature than moia, haha). I just felt that Tamara was taking advantage of Lucy's grace and kindness, expecting her to be cool with everything, and not even giving her a chance to explain her side. Didn't blame Lucy for one second when she finally did blow. I loved that she decided to do it at Tim's house though, haha. I think she knew in the back of her mind that she needed some backup of her own, and Tim was there for her, and if things would have gotten ugly, he she knew he would have been there for her hands down.

Nolan & Seth: I was actually extremely impressed with Nolan and Seth’s relationship. I think Nolan finally did an amazing job as a TO there. There were some questionable moments with Celina as her TO, so he really redeemed himself for me as Seth's TO. Nolan probably was the only one to understand the kind of person Seth was and not buying into his act letting him know he had to earn back everyone's trust, and explaining to him how maybe some he would never earn their trust back. Nolan was probably the only one who really got inside Seth's head.

Did I feel bad about Seth’s leg in the end? Maybe a teeny bit. But mostly not really. I think as I said before, it was karma. He was okay with letting Lucy and Tim drive into a burning inferno, possibly to be burned alive and never to be heard from again, and he was continuing to lie even when he came back the second time. Some lessons are hard.

BTW, felt totally bad for that dad who was released from prison by mistake, man what a nightmare. That would have gutted me. I thought Nolan’s suggestion to the wife to take the daughter to counseling was pretty heartless as well.

Angela & Wesley: Oh I did not like those streamers! (I have an 8 & 10 y/o niece and nephew who are into some of those clip Tok-type streaming shows with the entitled little brats running around spending boat loads of their parents money and man it’s hard to watch. Sorry if you’re rich. Just hope mine don’t turn out to hero worship people like that, who have zero understanding of how most of the world lives or what it means to give back.) They should have arrested the young girl who assaulted Angela and Jack. That was totally crossing the line. Wish Angela could have gone full combat mode on their asses.

Celina and Roger: I have to say, Roger was a bit of a goofball to me in the beginning, but he is growing on me. I do enjoy their dynamic. And I got a chuckle out of their chat when Tim came to the apartment, and teasing him about picking up his “friend” Lucy, and then the whole dinner party fiasco and Roger speaking Spanish (hilarious)!

Lucy and Tim: And last but certainly not least our favorite duo-Chenford. Oh boy, where to start with these two? I kind of think they are still a bit of an emotional mess. Yes, we had the admission of feelings in the True Crime episode, but I also think Lucy is still a bit guarded, not because she’s paranoid she’ll jinx the Sargeant’s exam, but because I think it’s because she knows the time for game-playing is almost up. Sh*ts about to get real, and she’s not a casual sex kind of girl, and if she passes that Sargeant’s exam and becomes Sargeant-Tim’s equal, there are no more barriers to remain between them. No more excuses. Not that the power dynamic has  stopped them before, but now the gig is truly up, and they will be forced to address what they have been trying to avoid for so long, the purple elephant in the room. Whether what they have/had is just physical lust and friends with benefits, or real love. My money’s on the latter. How can it not be? They've been eachother's person even when at their lowest moments.

Not expecting any big conversations, but it would be nice to see a little vulnerability on both of their parts before they cross that line together. They have had each other’s back this whole time, but on my wish list before the season’s end is to hear Lucy and Tim get on the same page for once with a possible ILY confession together, not while under duress, or drugs, or using a lie detector, but a genuine mutual admission. Perhaps we may be stuck with fan fictions for that during the hiatus, but there are still a couple episodes left so we can at least keep hope alive a little while longer.

Quite extravagant, but Elliott even likes his style. Farmer definitely has the taste to pick colours and accessories harmoniously. What? Judging? Pfft! Dear friend, when Elliott lived in town before moving to Stardew Valley, the people there also tried to ridicule his clothing choices, calling him a dandy and, pardon his language, a "pompous peacock." When I read Lynette’s profile and I saw it said “the student council” I knew I was in for some wild ideas. ALRIGHT, LYNETTE AND JULIA.

First impressions, gorgeous. Enchanting gaze, grace and maturity to her moves without even knowing her. Julia for certain thought there was like a sense of … authority to her which she wasn’t sure was misjudged or not.

Getting to know each other gets interesting. In theory, Julia and Lynette work for the same cause, anti-bullying. The main and key difference is VIOLENCE. Julia may not outwardly advocate for violence as a solution, but she’s goddamn aware that violence is the way these people understand each other best. There’s a saying where I’m from that goes ‘beating each other up is how we understand each other’ which is obviously a joke, but it kind of applies here. Also, interestingly this explores a bit of Julia’s hypocrisy; she’s very much against people picking on the weaker folks and she’s against unnecessary violence that disturbs her peace, but get her in the right mood and the right boredom and she’ll kick anyone’s ass and enjoy it quite a bit. I would say her behavior has become more evident or worsened since Bullworth, because people are so hostile, but she was definitely partially like this before. Either way, this would create a very interesting conflict between the two of them. They stand for the cause but believe solutions are different. 

Likewise, Julia doesn’t enjoy the idea of constantly being under scrutiny. Proximity to Lynette means that if she does something she’ll instantly be ratted out – or at least she feels that way. It’s odd, like being around an adult and having to pretend that she’s a well-adjusted and responsible teen. Though, I feel like if Lynette and Julia got to somehow know each other more, Julia would be a little warmer and less problematic around Lynette – just out of respect, and out of convenience, for the sake of peace.

Now, the wealthy nerd Cecil! Alright, let’s get down to business.

First of all, total opposites. Cecil worries about his future with bad grades and no diplomas, while Julia is comfortable with the idea that she won’t be hugely successful – or largely doesn’t care or think of it. 

Second, nerd! Again, Julia is not one to automatically be in bad terms with people, so this isn’t a bad thing but it does mean that there’s little in common with them. The only proximity she has to the nerds is with Beatrice and she LOATHES Earnest Jones for reasons we know – and he hates her back really hard for that one thing that no one knows she did to him. Also, the motherfucker keeps studyings, his nose is ALWAYS in a book and Julia doesn’t bother him because of that, considering that’s just rude to do. No literally, even if they have English together she can’t get the guy out of his book peacefully with a crowbar, so she doesn’t really know or think much of him.

Choi Joo-yeon and Julia Vega, ft. Julia trying to get used to how to pronounce her name proper. She’s trying really hard, but the intention is there. Sporty girl, boyish, non-clique. Well, we’re starting off on a good foot. I feel like they would first meet with Jooyeon practicing with the ball or something, with Julia joining in wordlessly on a limb just to have fun. And while Julia is not the best at it, she did her best and had fun. And Julia likes this kid. The way she stands up for herself, her attitude, the fact that standing next to her has Julia looking more androgynous than boyish and that it still pisses some people off (because Julia wears slacks rather than a skirt as opposed to Jooyeon)… Quite a delight. Julia loves to learn about other people, to talk and listen, so I think they might get along pretty well. There might be a few videos that Jooyeon recorded at Bullworth with Julia in the vicinity or passing by, cooly giving her that head tilt of acknowledgement before going her merry way. Immortalized in someone else’s memories in all her cool, chill glory.

Also you can rest assure, Julia will step the fuck up if any racist remark happens in her presence. To Julia, there’s only two kinds of people: cool people and losers, and losers make those kinds of comments.

Also please not jooyeon liking that tragic ass Stairway to Heaven joint NOOOO, had my family TRAUMATIZED.

Now, Maxime. One-eye, pirate, those are nicknames Julia calls him by at first, but once she realizes that he doesn’t like it she stops. It was meant to be affectionate, but the entire school is so mean about it, geez. After all, she doesn’t know it was because of something DONE to him, she thought it was just from birth. 

That aside, I genuinely think they would not talk a lot. Julia senses his less-than-friendly vibe or that he just doesn’t socialize a lot. Likewise, proximity to the Jocks means she’s less likely to have a go at them. She just leaves the guy alone.

OKAY SO. I have now watched two episodes and i have so much to say (long rambling post ahead, sorry)

Iñaqui is perfect. I was worried that he would not live up to the hype but he does. He captures luffy perfectly and manages to adapt luffy's personality to the new medium / the tone of the show. He is not just copying luffy, if that makes sense. Hes funny and silly and clearly having a great time which is exactly why he is the best possible casting. He just makes me smile so hard (btw my friend said he was his favorite character hehe)

I love Zoro, I wish he would smile more/be sillier but I think his sense of humor in the show works. I hope we see him call out some of his moves eventually, like, Get over youself and be silly!!!! But i love the actor and I loooove the zoro/luffy dynamic so far. I do have to say that i have mixed feelings about the change to Zoro joining the crew, i have always loved the moment when he calls luffy captain at shells town, but whatever its fine

Nami.... im still not sold on the actress, she feels a bit stiff sometimes, but its better than what i was expecting based on the trailers. Not a fan of turning Nami into the "older sister" character :/ but im not surprised that they went with that angle. LOVED to see her fight alongside luffy and zoro, it is something that i wish we could see more of in the manga/anime. I love that they give her a lot more to do and we see her actually lock picks and be a thief! Im hopeful for the rest of the season and cant wait to see how they did Arlong Park. I really enjoyed her scene with Zoro when they are captured by Buggy, again i really miss seeing them interact in the original so it was nice

And that leads us to BUGGY. oh boy. I do like the costuming and his crew looked amazing, but hes too edgy for my taste. Maybe the actor is taking himself too seriously? Idk maybe i should reread the orange town chapters but i dont think buggy was ever this threatening and scary... he still had some goofy moments tho, so im hoping that as the show progresses he will be more like the buggy we know and love. My friend liked him a lot so ig it might have been the right call in order to bring in new fans.

I liked how they changed Alvida! It was totally the best way to handle her character (also, the actress is so hot, no one would have believed it if they called her ugy lol). I dont see why they took away Kobys big moment :/ I think it was a great disservice to his character

So far, I like the way they are condensing the plot. Obviously they would have to cut a lot, so im okay with how they are doing it. Orange Town felt a little rushed to me, but its okay.

The sets look amazing, i love the transponder snails SO MUCH, the fights are really cool and the CGI looks so good. The Devil Fruit looked too fake but eh, thats just a nitpick. The costumes are a mixed bag. I know namis orange skirt with the rings on the side is iconic but i think the actress looked silly with that outfit lol.

Swapping Bodies And Gender

Summary: How He would React and what he would say or do.

A/N: No use of Y/N or Reader, A bunch of pet names is used

Katsuki would immediately notice this due to him waking up and seeing the position he is in. Since he would always have you on top of him, you would be spooning him or him spooning you.

Since he is already suspicious, it would only make him even more shocked when he looked in the mirror and saw your face and not his. He would take a look at your body for a while and think it wouldn’t be that so bad.

He would be consoling you as well saying that y’all would figure it out together. It would be him trying to figure out your body since he is used to his own limits and things his body can handle.

He would most likely say, “Its okay Mi Amor, we would get through this together.”

If you on your period before the body swapping, he would be suffering and saying every curse word under the sun with the cramps. Lucky for you no more cramps. But you gonna have to spend money on him for him while he is going through it.

He would try his hardest to do what he usually does but immediately fails. While you are trying to get used to his body as well. He would have to teach you somethings as well as you to him.

If this is UA Katsuki, he would have trouble with your powers. He would most definitely have fun trying to be you infront of your friends.

Gareth didn't like you. There was no way. You were cute, but he thought lots of girls were cute.

You walk in with a mid thigh length black skirt and a flannel that looks a lot like the type Gareth wears. Gareth shrugs it off, flannels are more popular in the fall.

You just happened to sit right next to him. Gareth assumes it was because you didn't want to sit next to Eddie, he could be a bit much sometimes.

Gareth definitely doesn't like you, but he does think you look pretty. There's no way he could like you.

You had tried so hard. Having bought a flannel just like his, he had to know you liked him by now. Was he just that oblivious?

Everybody knew you two had a crush on each other. But the two of you. For months, Eddie had watched as it became painful to see you two pins after the other.

You would get Gareth a pin of his favorite band, friends do that? Or the time you made brownies for Hellfire. Gareth just happens to absolutely love brownies.

Eddie let's out a quite sigh as you laugh at one of Gareth's jokes. Eddie wouldn't know you had a crush, but you laughed at all of his jokes. Even the mind numbingly stupid ones.

Eddie couldn't decide if he should do something. He could say you both have crushes on each other. But then you two might deny the obvious truth.

He had to think of something better. Maybe he could lie to one of you and say he hear the other say they wish they could take the other on a date?

You were in love. Gareth was the best. He was cute, funny, played in an awesome band, was in a cool club, and he was in love with your baking.

You smiled and laughed at another stupid joke. You could of swore you lose a brain cell every time a joke is told at this table.

How could Gareth not know you liked him? It was incredibly obvious. But, what if he did know, and just didn't like you back?

He might just want to be friends... you try to push the thought out of your mind as he brushes his hand next to yours to grab his Sandwich.

You ignore the butterflies that form in your stomach from the little touch. You were hopelessly in love with your friend.

Gareth also ignores the way his heart soars when he brushed your fingers. It was an accident he told himself. You don't actually like her.

Eddie made up his mind. He was going to tell Gareth that you have a crush on him. Only because he was 100% sure that Gareth liked you back. It would take a bigger idiot then Jason Carver to not see that.

Eddie was going to tell Gareth. You had study hall and wouldn't be at lunch. So, Eddie got Gareth's attention.

"Dude, she is totally in love with you," Dustin says and Gareth hides his blushing face.

Gareth sees you after class, "I like you," he blurts out full of nerves. If you did actually like him it would be incredible. If not he just ruined his favorite friendship.

You don't reply and throw your arms around his neck and kiss him. His lips taste faintly of cherry soda he had at lunch.

You smile into the kiss as you both hide in the corner of the hallway.

Gareth could never tell eddie. He would never live this down. Eddie would remind him of it every damn time he could.

Little did you and Gareth know, Eddie was snickering like he just won the lottery by the lockers as he saw you kiss Gareth.

He walks away smiling to himself, matchmaker Munson had a nice ring to it. He almost skips down the hall from excitement.
