icl i feel a bit dumb for not thinking about it like that!!! my bad fr
in that case: what are some of your favourite things to see in fics/writing? tropes, style, etc etc...
enjoy another goofy sign-off, lavender anon and please dw about it pahaha I mean I feel like the flower emoji is kinda ambiguous?? on my device it says it's lavender, but like... tbh idk where I was going with that, but dw about it <33
Don’t feel dumb! Nothing to feel dumb about :)
I think I'm pretty easy to please! I like a lot of things and I'll read almost anything. I will say that style matters a lot more to me than tropes. I love beautiful, lyrical prose (This Is How We Lose The Time War comes to mind) but it has to be carefully done so it doesn’t feel heavy handed, or I’ll lose interest. There's also beauty in straightforward, clean, minimal prose!
In terms of tropes, I’ll always have a soft spot for found family. I also like jealousy, mutual pining, redemption arcs. Right person, wrong time. Second chances. Exes to lovers. Among others!

Do you and seras have sleep over on night off

Oh so very often,
I let her up in my chambers and she braids my hair and then we take a warm, steamy bath. She's very flustered and gets all flushed. It's exceedingly adorable
Then she curls up in my bed and I pet her hair until I fall asleep. She tends to stay up a bit later but then will fall asleep on my arms

Bestfriend's bestfriend .ᐟ ೀMC⁷¹

╰ Synopsis Will’s best friend and his teammate start to fall for each other, during a family dinner, they sneak outside and finally share a kiss they’ve both been waiting for.
Tags/contains Fluff, Macklin Celebrini x fem!reader. Kissing(grow up pls??), light jealousy(implied), cute awkward teens in love.
➺ from Sera, to you 📨. The gif is so funny to me 😭😭. Also could you tell what is my favourite picture of Mack?
masterlist ᥫ᭡ please reblog this fic if you enjoyed it! Please do NOT rewrite/repost my work anywhere else without permission!
You and Will had been best friends since before you could even talk.
Your moms had met at a prenatal yoga class, back when both of them were pregnant, hormonal, and in desperate need of someone who didn’t judge their swollen ankles or chocolate cravings. That friendship bloomed fast and fiercely, so naturally, the moment you and Will were born just weeks apart, you were unofficially adopted into each other’s families.
Birthday parties were always joint, sleepovers were co-ed and entirely normal, and even when puberty made things awkward for about six months, your friendship never cracked. Will was the kind of guy who knew your Starbucks order by memory and sent your mom a Mother’s Day text every year. And you? You knew all his pre-game rituals and had listened to him rant about line changes since peewee hockey.
So when Will was drafted and moved to San Jose, it wasn’t a question of if you’d be visiting, it was how soon and how often.
You showed up with a duffel bag and an iced coffee for him the first weekend after he got settled in.
“You know, my teammates are gonna think we’re dating,” he told you, swinging your bag over his shoulder like it was nothing.
You rolled your eyes. “Let them. Maybe they’ll leave you alone.”
Will snorted. “Doubtful. These guys are vultures.”
He wasn’t wrong. Will had been drafted alongside another top pick, Macklin Celebrini, buzzed about constantly, hyped as the future of hockey, and Will had clicked with him almost instantly. Their friendship wasn’t much different than yours and Will’s, just with more chirping and endless hours of hockey.
Which is exactly why he was so excited to introduce you. “You’re gonna love Mack,” he said as the two of you walked into the team apartment. “He’s like… me if I was more Canadian, and way more obsessed with protein powder.”
You snorted. “Wow. Sounds like the love of my life.”
Will grinned, unlocking the door. “Don’t say that too loud. He might fall in love with you instead.”
You didn’t think much of it. Will always joked like that, teased you about guys at school or the poor souls who tried sliding into your dms. But the moment you walked in, Mack turned around from the kitchen, and suddenly, you understood why Will brought him up so much.
The first thing you noticed? He was stupidly cute. Tall, broad shoulders under a worn out hoodie, with messy hair and soft green eyes that lit up the moment Will said, “This is my best friend I told you about, Y/n.”
Macklin smiled at you like you’d just stepped out of a dream. “Hey.”
You gave a little wave, casual. “Hey.”
Will blinked between you two. “Okay. Weird energy.”
“No?!” you said at the same time Mack said, “Nice to meet you.” You were already fighting a smile and so was he. And from that moment, Mack was done for.
He didn’t mean to fall head over heels for you, but It just happened.
At first, he tried to be chill. You were Will’s best friend, and Mack wasn’t about to step on that. But then you kept showing up, after practice, for movie nights, to hang out on weekends. And every time, Mack found himself watching you a little too closely.
The way you laughed with Will, how you pulled your hair up when you got frustrated, the way you leaned against the kitchen counter with a juice box in your hand like it was the most normal thing in the world.
He was completely wrecked. “Dude,” Will said one night, catching him mid stare.
Mack blinked. “What?”
Will looked at him like he was an idiot. “You’re in love with her.”
“I’m not.”
“You are. You look at her like she hung the moon.”
Mack shrugged, feeling his ears heat. “She’s cool.”
“She’s my best friend,” Will said, mockingly protective.
“I know that.”
Will narrowed his eyes, then leaned back on the couch. “Just don’t be weird about it. And don’t flirt in front of me. I’ll vomit.”
Mack rolled his eyes. “I’m not flirting.” But he totally was.
Little things, asking if you wanted the last slice of pizza (even when he really wanted it), remembering the drink you always grabbed from the gas station, offering to drive you home when it got late. He couldn’t help it, you were magnetic.
And the worst part? You were completely, blissfully unaware.
One night, after a Sharks home game, you came back to the apartment with Will and Mack to crash.
You were in your usual spot, Will’s couch, legs tucked under you, hoodie sleeves bunched around your hands. Mack watched you from the armchair, trying not to look too obvious about it.
“I don’t get how you guys still have energy after skating for hours,” you said, yawning. “I’d be horizontal for three days.”
“You are horizontal,” Will said.
“I meant in bed, idiot.”
Mack smiled, lips twitching. Will grinned, nudging him with his foot. “See? She’s violent. Not girlfriend material.”
You raised a brow. “Good thing I’m not dating you.”
“Ouch.”
Mack just shook his head, pretending not to be hanging on every word. Later, when Will dozed off halfway through a movie, you glanced over at Mack.
“He always does this,” you whispered, nodding to Will’s slumped figure. “I swear, his internal battery just shuts down.”
Mack laughed softly. “At least he’s predictable.”
You smiled at him and Mack felt it in his chest.“You’re really good for him,” you said. “He’s got a lot on his plate, but it’s nice knowing he’s got someone like you around.”
Mack blinked. “Me?”
“Yeah,” you said, voice gentle. “I can tell he trusts you.”
He looked at you for a second too long. “He trusts you more.”
You gave a soft shrug, like it was no big deal. “That’s different. We’ve been through everything together.”
“I wish I knew you back then.”
That surprised you. “What do you mean?”
Mack leaned forward slightly. “I don’t know. Just.. it would’ve been cool to grow up around someone like you.”
You paused, eyes studying him. “Well,” you said, smile tugging at your lips, “you’ve got me now.”
And he was screwed, after that night.
He found excuses to be around more when you visited. He started replying to your Instagram stories, reacting to your TikToks, sending you memes and dumb hockey jokes. Nothing serious, but enough that you started texting him too. Inside jokes formed quickly. You even got in the habit of stealing his hoodie when Will wasn’t looking.
When you both got really, really closer, it was when Will invited Mack to your both family dinner. It was tradition, Smith family dinners were a sacred thing.
At least once a month, your family and Will’s would get together for a big meal. There was always too much food, too many voices talking at once, and at least one heated debate over a card game by the end of the night.
This time, it was Will’s mom who hosted and this time, Will invited Macklin.
“Wait, you’re bringing Macklin to family dinner?” you asked, raising an eyebrow as you helped your mom pack up containers of pasta salad and garlic bread.
“Yeah, why not?” Will said casually. “You guys are obsessed with each other anyway.”
You stopped scooping salad. “We are not.”
He didn’t even look up from his phone. “You literally are.”
“You’re delusional.”
Macklin showed up looking painfully cute, clean hoodie, hair styled like always, a shy little smile when your mom hugged him like she’d known him for years.
He sat next to you at the dinner table. Not across, not near, but right next to you, thigh brushing yours every time either of you moved. And he didn’t move away and you didn’t either.
Everyone was in a good mood, your parents chatting with Will’s, the table loud with laughter and wine and the smell of roasted chicken. Will was busy challenging your dad to a ridiculous trivia game, which left you and Mack to yourselves for a moment, quietly stealing bites of dessert off the same plate.
You had asked Macklin if we wanted to step out with you, because you couldn’t help but seek the feeling of being alone with him.
You slipped away from the table without much fuss, everyone too distracted by dessert and wine refills to notice and the two of you wandered toward the side of the house, where it was quiet and cool and just a little bit dark. The sky was still holding on to the last hints of orange, stars barely starting to show.
You walked in silence for a few seconds until you both stopped at the edge of the driveway, leaning against Will’s dad’s parked truck.
At one point, he leaned over and said quietly, “Kinda feels like I’m crashing a family holiday.”
You smiled, bumping his shoulder with yours. “You’re not. They love you.”
His voice dipped lower. “What about you?”
You sighed, avoiding his question. “It gets kind of crazy in there.”
Mack nodded. “In a good way.”
You looked at him out of the corner of your eye. “You’re quiet tonight.”
“I’m thinking.”
“About?”
He hesitated. “You.”
You turned toward him fully now, heart kicking up just a little. “Oh?”
He shifted on his feet, suddenly bashful in a way you hadn’t seen before. “I was just trying to figure out if I should kiss you or not.”
You blinked. “Why would you even question it?”
Mack let out a breathy laugh, looking down at the space between you. “Because you’re Will’s best friend. And I didn’t want to ruin anything. But honestly?” He glanced up again, eyes soft and searching. “I’ve kinda wanted to kiss you since the day I met you.”
You stepped closer, just enough for your shoes to bump. “Mack,” you whispered, “just kiss me already.”
And he did, slow and gentle, his hands gently moving up to touch your jaw like he was scared to mess it up. But his mouth was warm and careful against yours, like he’d been waiting, like this meant something. And to you, it did.
When you pulled away, it was barely an inch. “I’ve kinda wanted to kiss you too,” you murmured.
Mack grinned, the nervousness falling away. “Okay, good.”

⋆.˚ . FLY ME TO THE MOON ⋆.˚ ☾ .⭒˚.
—PART THREE
Pairing: Lucifer Morningstar x Archangel Raphael! Fem! Reader
Fandom: Hazbin Hotel
Notes: Lucifer and [y/n] will see each other again next chapter 👁️👁️
PART ONE | PART TWO | PART FOUR | MISC.

A lot of timeskip...
[Y/n] sat in her office chair. Bored out of her mind. Hand fluidly moved in motion as she signed her signature in each document. Paper works. So much paperwork. Just because she finished her duties on the mortal realm for this week doesn't mean she doesn't have work to do back in heaven. She needs to do countless paperwork. Writing down every detail of what happened during her time on earth.
She groaned, placing down her pen on to the table. Throwing her head back lazily against the comfort of her chair.
It has been years since Lucifer's fall. Years after the meeting he asked for that concern about his hotel to redeem sinners.
Thinking back about it. She regrets the harsh words she has said to him during that meeting. Rather too cold for her liking.
She can't blame past her either. She was mad at Lucifer, who wouldn't?
Your best friend stopped spending time with you as he spent most of his time learning about the newly made humans God created.
And once he got the time to spend with her, he always talked about the mortal woman that God has created.
It was very annoying.
Then suddenly, he did what she warned him. Giving the fruit of knowledge to Eve that caused his fall from grace.
[Y/n] loved him, she still does.
She was mad that Lucifer neglected her. She was mad that an angel as beautiful as Lucifer chose a mortal woman.
She was... Jealous.
Now, she heard he has a family now.
She sighs, eyes looking down on her hand. The wedding ring she used to wear is now on her middle finger. She and Azrael are still married to each other platonically for shits and giggles.
They still loved each other platonically. Often having sleepovers at each other's houses.
She wondered, Azrael is such a great man. Everything she'll ever need in one. Smart, funny, sarcastic, intelligent, incredibly handsome, and loving.
It's truly unfortunate her heart lies within another.
She sighs softly. She's been doing that often lately.
As she was about to continue working, the door to her office bursts open and her ex-husband flamboyantly announced his grand entrance.
“Wifeyyy, I have tea to share. I know you'll be interested.” Azrael asked, [y/n] had to look up as the man was literally taller than her. His slicked back black hair shined against the chandelier lights. His eyes are half-lidded—showing off the golden eyeshadow he's wearing, a smirk on his mischievously attractive face. Pulling back a chair across her desk, he sat down.
[Y/n] raised an eyebrow at him, curious what gossip he has to share this time.
“What is it?” she asked lacing her hands and placing her elbows on the table and placing her chin on her knuckles.
Azrael smirked, playing with his staff.
“Luci has a family right?” he asked and [y/n] just looked at him with curiosity. Surprised that Azrael brought the topic of the fallen angel up.
“Yes, what about it?” she asked, raising an eyebrow at the angel in front of her.
“I heard his daughter is coming up here for a meeting, Morningstar's daughter wanted to propose an idea to... Redeem sinners. Reminds me of Lucifer.” Azrael says with a smirk and small chuckle.
“The apple doesn't fall far from the tree after all.” [y/n] says with a small shrug. She wondered if Lucifer's daughter would propose the same idea like his.
“Indeed. So, are you going to attend the meeting? I heard Sera is handling it this time. Lucifer's daughter sure is lucky she won't be having a meeting with the seven.” Azrael says with a smirk before pouting a little.
“When will it be?” [y/n] asked, picking up her pen once more as she resumed working.
“In two days.” Azrael says with a shrug.
“Unfortunately I have work, all seven of us do.” [y/n] says with a shrug, a bored tone in her voice.
Azrael sighed and nodded, “Unfortunately, but... We can still attend but not physically. Eavesdropping as what others call it.” Azrael says with a grin, snapping his fingers and two eyeballs with wings appeared out of nowhere.
“We can use these. Both of us can have an eye.” he suggested and [y/n] looked at him with a raised eyebrow, curious why this man is so interested in listening to a meeting that is probably a repeat of history.
“I can see that look in your eyes that you're wondering why I'm so eager to listen to this meeting. I have a feeling that something will be revealed during this meeting and I am curious to what it is. My instincts are never wrong.” Azrael says, eyes staring outside [y/n]'s window. He has a feeling that the Seraphims are hiding something and he wants to uncover that.
“A secret?” [y/n] asked, curiosity piqued.
“Yes, I have a feeling that the seraphims are hiding something and that is a no-no especially if a high seraphim is hiding something.” Azrael says, his voice becoming serious. [Y/n] looked at him, her eyes narrowed at the possibility. The seven virtues are barely in heaven and that means the seraphims are in charge of the order up here. Lately, Sera has been acting strange but they just dismissed it thinking it was nothing. Now that Azrael mentioned it, they need to find out the truth.
“I assume we don't need to tell them we'll be attending the meeting then?” [y/n] asked and Azrael smirked and nodded.
It was finally the day where Lucifer's daughter would visit heaven for a meeting. [Y/n] sat on her couch in the comfort of her home, a third eye on her forehead. It means her consciousness is connected to the flying eyeball Azrael allowed her to use. It is currently the courtroom, hiding from plain sight.
Lucifer's daughter is really a copy of the said fallen angel. Same ideals too.
The meeting seems to be a bore, Charlie as what she learned the girl's name is, just proposed the same idea Lucifer proposed years ago.
The meeting was nothing but boring, annoying as she has to listen to Adam and Lute.
[Y/n] is still confused why that is in heaven and why he's being favored. The man is literally a walking asshole with a shit personality.
Azrael is probably in the same boat as her but he's back on earth doing his duties while simultaneously listening to this meeting.
The seven does not like Adam very much. Adam is too privileged.
Though, her views on the hotel changed as Charlie showed the progress of her guest, a demon named Angel Dust. Perhaps this silly hotel might actually work.
[Y/n] was about to stop listening and watching the meeting when Adam said something that caught her interest. Something that made her heart drop.
Exterminate... Extermination...
Of human souls.
Based on the reactions of other angels in the court, it was only Sera, Adam, Lute and other exorcists who knew about it.
Demon or not angels have no reason for doing this.
She's pissed and she could feel Azrael's annoyance from the eye she was using.
Who gave Sera the right to play God?
And the fact she didn't let the seven know about it is inexcusable.
The meeting ended and the two eyeballs remained hidden, eavesdropping on Emily and Sera.
So she's doing this because the demons were uprising?
Didn't they like to took care of it years ago? This just showed that Sera has no belief that heaven can handle a mere uprising of demons.
If the seven wanted to they could wipe out the entirety of hell. But no, there's no need for that. They have far more important matters to deal with such as trying to minimize the evil slowly growing on earth.
Hell couldn't steal heaven, they'd be dead before they could even enter the gates.
The third eye on [y/n]'s forehead closes and disappears. The others needed to know about this.
The others were concerned about this, angry even. Heaven does not need to do this yearly cleansing but apparently it has been happening for a few years already. So many human souls are killed by the hands of angels.
The seven talked about this with their creator and of course, he didn't listen to their concerns about this. Though, he did promise that if a soul is actually redeemed then the cleansing isn't necessary and Sera would be placed on trial as the seraphim didn't tell the seven nor god about this decision. The seven virtues didn't tell Sera they knew and just continued doing their duties. They trust their creator, based on his voice. He knew something that they don't.
[Y/n] has a feeling that this silly hotel might even work and she can't wait to finally put Adam, the exorcists, and Sera back to their place. To remind them where their power lies within the heavenly ranks.

more of this. context: tommy, after catastrophically crashing! that! truck! finds himself living with the delucas and accidentally learning about love. i promise this is still a bucktommy fic but tommy is my special little guy and i'm enjoying unpacking him almost too much.
There are raised voices in the kitchen when Tommy gets back from therapy, and he hesitates in the hallway until he hears Gina laugh, the sound of a series of slaps delivered to solid muscle, and put me down, you animal. He joins them in the kitchen and gets a pair of loose, easy smiles in greeting and a beer pushed into his hand as soon as he sits at the table and hangs his cane from the hook Sal had drilled into the wall and never mentioned.
"Sera's at a sleepover and this idiot's off shift for two days so we're getting a little loaded," Gina says. "Join us?"
Tommy's face must do something, because Sal leans over to flick his earlobe and says, "Parenthood means taking your opportunities when you get 'em, okay. Don't be a square."
Just for that, Tommy invites Gina into the backyard with him to share one of his mostly medicinal joints, leaving Sal, as the only one with a job that drug tests, to glare at them through the window until Gina blows him a kiss. Tommy copies her and Sal reaches out with both hands, pretending to catch the gestures and press them close to his heart before he turns away and busies himself with something.
Gina passes the joint back to Tommy and rests her head on his shoulder.
"How you doing, hon?"
Tommy shrugs his other shoulder. "Therapy sucks."
"You can just say I was right, I promise I won't tell Sal."
"You're right about everything," he assures her.
"You know it," she says, offering him a hand to help him up when he snuffs out the joint and returns it to the little jar for later.
Back in the kitchen, Sal has music playing and the oven is on, the smell mostly a combination of dough and breadcrumbs that speaks of the kind of snacks they only let Sera have once in a blue moon.
"Do I smell pizza rolls, Deluca? What happened to the guy who bitched about west coast pie every chance he got?" Tommy asks.
"I've mellowed," Sal says and Tommy and Gina share a glance over the sound of his protests.
He's not wrong, though. Sal and Gina had been…volatile, back in the day. Never violent, but the yelling… It always gave Tommy a headache when he hung out with the two of them. Looking back, it was mostly Sal being an asshole, and Gina not letting it go unnoticed. If they weren't yelling though, they were deeply, wildly into each other. That gave Tommy a different kind of headache, seeing how easily and effortlessly they orbited each other while he sat and very politely held Abby's hand, his trajectory through her life like an asteroid's orbit instead, never quite lining up, straying close and then getting further and further and further away.
The point is, when they got married Tommy didn't make any 'I'll give it a year' jokes but he did hear a few, and he didn't necessarily disagree. Turns out he was completely wrong. This is more time than he's ever spent with the two of them - more time than Tommy's spent with any other person - since the army. He sees them squabble and he sees them tired and he sees them move like pieces of a machine they've built together. It's - it's really lovely. Despite everything - despite what brought him here, deposited him like a weird spare part into their lives, he's grateful that he gets to see it.
The familiar opening bars of Only The Good Die Young come through the speakers and blend with the sound of Sal's laughter, pulling Tommy from his thoughts.
"Oh baby, they're playing our song," Sal says.
Gina gives him a look but Sal has mischief in every inch of him as he croons along with you Catholic girls start much too late. Gina flicks his ass with a dishcloth and he cackles as he grabs three more beers from the fridge and passes one to Tommy, making a show of uncapping Gina's bottle and presenting it to her with a flourish.
He grabs her by the waist once she's pulled the tray of college dorm level snacks out of the oven to cool and she rolls her eyes but drapes her arms over his shoulder, beer still danging from two fingers. Faces close, they grin at each other as Sal sings your mama told you all that I could give you was a reputation and Gina rolls her eyes and lets him sway her around the kitchen. There's a story there - Mrs Cattaneo had been one of the loudest I'll give it a year voices, up to and including during Sal and Gina's first dance where she'd been ineffectively shushed by Gina's little sister - but it doesn't stop them laughing as Sal dips her dangerously low and pops a kiss onto her nose as he sets her back on her feet.
The song changes to something slower and Sal shoves a pizza roll into his mouth, chewing disgustingly.
"Tommy, please, cut in," Gina begs.
"I'm not gonna sing," Tommy warns her.
"Thank Christ."
The night wears on until Tommy's leg starts to ache despite the weed and he taps out reluctantly. In bed, he closes his eyes to the sound of Sal singing along to Springsteen's version of Jersey Girl - Tommy prefers the original but Sal definitely doesn't have the range for that - and he pictures the two of them dancing in the kitchen. Overlaid images of Sal, sweating in his wedding suit and Gina beautiful in the white dress her mom had been kind of shitty about, and the two of them now; older and softer and more tired, Gina in cropped leggings and Sal's sweatshirt, Sal in joggers and a loose t-shirt with the sleeves cut off.
He loves them both so much, uncomplicatedly and easily for what might be the first time in his whole life. He falls asleep thinking about that - about love without barbs, without the threat of it changing if he lets himself be too much himself.
tagging those who requested it. as always, let me know if you want out, no pressure, like i said this was and will be a b/t joint, but it'll take a minute

Could you write an concept for Emily from Hazbin Hotel? I don't see her being too intense as a yandere, but she could still be clingy and overprotective, right?
Yeah, she isn't that intense... but I can see her as clingy and overprotective. Just a warning, this is very similar to Redeemed! Pentious plot-wise.
@okchijt helped me out with this near the end :)
Yandere! Emily Concept
Pairing: Platonic/Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Clingy behavior, Jealousy, Overprotective behavior, Slight manipulation, Oblivious behavior, Denial, Dubious companionship/relationship.
While I haven't written much for Charlie at the time of writing this... I feel Charlie and Emily are similar in yandere behavior.
Emily is excitable, sweet, and friendly.
Unlike other angels, Emily doesn't discriminate against anyone.
She's just so full of energy and genuinely just wants to make others happy.
Her whole role is to keep human souls happy in heaven.
Plus, as an angel she can't get away with a lot of yandere behavior.
Which leaves the bubbly angel as just... clingy.
Imagine Emily with an angel obsession who needs help around Heaven?
Emily is just so excited to make a new friend, bouncing around you with fluttering wings as she asks you what your name is and what you'd like to do first.
Honestly, Emily doesn't mean any harm.
She's similar to Redeemed Pentious, except she's less lucid.
She isn't aware of the fact her behavior may be wrong.
She gets too caught up in being close to you that she doesn't quite understand.
She's like an excited puppy with her obsession, often around them and dragging them on activities.
Sera may end up having to watch her as she's never seen the bubbly angel so attached to any other soul.
Although, something different than Charlie and Sir Pentious is the fact Emily cares less about what others think.
This is shown when she outright goes against Sera after learning about the Exterminations.
Emily probably wouldn't care what those around you think about her.
They just... don't understand your bond...!
It's not like she's doing anything bad, right?
She isn't forcing you into anything... right?
Emily is sweet with her obsession.
As an angel all her life, she's very innocent.
Something as dark as an obsession is very foreign to her.
All Emily wants to do is casual things like... get ice cream and sleepovers-
Y'know... more innocent activities than your typical yandere.
Since she has such an outlook with you, an obsession baffles her a bit.
She doesn't quite... understand?
The moment she's jealous about other angels around you... she isn't sure what the feeling is.
She's never felt something so negative.
Why would she? She's meant to make everyone so positive.
So... why does she feel so bad when you look so happy with other angels?
Isn't her goal to see you and the other angels happy?
Why... Why is she only happy when you're with her?
Why does she just want you to smile at her?
Emily is curious and naive.
She doesn't understand her obsession and has no idea why she feels this way.
She vaguely understands it's not normal... yet doesn't tell Sera a thing.
She's a bit nervous that Sera will tell her to stay away from you.
So... she's quiet and plays it off as normal.
Emily struggles with the feelings she has towards her obsession.
She hates feeling upset when you're with other angels.
You're supposed to mingle with other angels...!
She... She shouldn't want you for herself.
But she can't help herself.
Emily can't seem to understand the idea of too much affection.
She just thinks all affection and attention is good for her obsession.
Which often has her clinging to your side with a large smile one her face.
Emily may not be violent, but she scares herself when she does have such thoughts.
Her obsession makes her impure.
She thinks all sorts of thoughts she shouldn't.
Things like trapping you beside her... harming other angels around you... demonic temptation, really.
There's a good chance her obsession, if discovered, could cause her to become fallen.
Which is why she tries to hide such thoughts and distract herself.
She distracts herself by inviting you on little hangouts and focusing on her duties.
She should be happy if you're happy.
She just loves to see a smile on your face.
Emily adores you... always clinging and hugging you like a stuffed animal.
Her affection is another way she tries to ignore her obsessive thoughts.
Any sort of manipulation she does by accident or really subtle if on purpose.
Such feelings of hers make her walk on eggshells.
If Sera catches wind of this...?
Well, she fears what will happen.
Although, eventually, Emily may mess up.
Perhaps she steps out of line and somehow alerts Sera to her obsession?
Maybe she admits wanting to trap you in a room to keep you to herself... or maybe she admits that she's envious of other angels around you.
Her jealousy... her envy... such thoughts are a sin.
Sera is devastated and distraught at the fact Emily is behaving in such a way with you.
Perhaps she'll make you both fallen angels for such a... discretion.
At first Sera's in denial of the younger seraphim's obsession.
She doesn't believe Emily is capable of such a thing...
Which may lead to the older seraphim punishing you for Emily's feelings.
You corrupted her... she just knows it.
Sera would for separation to try and preserve Emily, but the angel is just too far gone.
Emily's obsession is the slow corruption of an angel... soon to fall from grace.
At your separation, Emily throws a tantrum.
Sera is stunned when she sees Emily vent such sinful thoughts.
The young seraphim has been putting up with her paranoia and jealousy for too long now by the time Sera knows.
She soon doesn't care what Sera thinks anymore.
Sera has lied to her before and Emily can't seem to let you go.
As a result, when separation doesn't work, Emily and you are deemed fallen.
By this point Emily would have completely snapped, no longer pure like she once was.
You're terrified but Emily prioritizes keeping you happy as always.
Being fallen is the best for both of you, right?
Now you two can be with one another without judgment.
Yet you only seem to look at the corrupted seraphim with hatred now....
Overall, Emily would be in denial of her obsession.
Yet slowly, over time, she breaks down and gives in.
The moment she does...
She's doomed you both.

Saw your sleepover post, so here’s my ask:
I want to know some of your Cullen headcanons!
Well, you know I'm full of them. ;)
I've dropped these under the cut since the realtionship ones get a bit saucy.
Cullen in General
He's an excellent chess player, but he will simply never be good at Wicked Grace. Something about the game just makes his brain stop working: he approaches it too much like a tactician, not enough like a politician.
I always think that of the siblings, he and Mia look the most alike (perhaps taking after their father).
He definitely took Chantry choir seriously. No idea if that's at all a norm for templars, but it clearly was for him.
He genuinely enjoys reading and eventually starts to do more of it post-Inquisition (when he has more time). He prefers nonfiction.
He suffers from Classic Man Syndrome in that he's not particularly good at picking up whether women are actually nice or not. Fortunately, he's surrounded by a lot of good ones (now, at least) who genuinely have his best interests at heart.
I firmly believe he was oblivious to the fact Dorian's gay when he was playing chess with him. He obviously would not treat Dorian any differently or feel differently about him: I mean this in the most innocent, completely-went-over-his-head kind of way. I also think he just assumes Tevinter people roll differently given his current exposure to them are Dorian and Krem.
I actually have always had the headcanon that my Inquisitor, Mira, is the one who tells Cullen about Dorian after he admitted he was jealous of the time they were spending together (something Dorian picked up in about five seconds and had entirely too much fun with) and how close they seemed. I have a whole scenario of how that conversation goes down (and yes, she's trying so hard not to laugh).
Sometimes, he can be a bit slower to pick up on innuendoes than the others simply because his mind doesn't immediately go there. He's not naive and his ears have bled plenty from the time he's spent living in the barracks, but the "real" conversation doesn't always land quickly. When Sera starts talking to Blackwall about "ripe peaches," he wonders why they're talking about fruit. His lady love has to whisper it in his ear and his face turns ten shades of scarlet.
Cullen's good and sweet with all animals (not just dogs).
More below.
Cullen as a Partner/Husband
He is extremely dialed into her emotions, which is the exact opposite of what many would assume him to be given the nature of his role. He knows she's the type to put on a brave face. I've written in the past about my Inquisitor (Mira) becoming very conditioned to not reacting and protecting herself by not showing emotions at a very young age, even though she's already working to overcome her somewhat extreme guardedness and hurt at the time Inquisition starts. Cullen sees right through it from the start.
Cullen is a protector by nature, and while he hates seeing her upset or even crumbling (an extremely rare occurrence), he's glad that he can be a safe place for her. She's an unbelievably strong person, but she is still a person. She can be "weak" around him while he holds her steady, and vice versa. That he's never seen her as anything other than a person is comforting to her (and I think speaks quite positively to his groundedness).
This one's canon, but he shows his quiet, steadfast dedication in part through small touches: a hand on her shoulder/a shoulder rub, a hand at the small of her back, his fingertips brushing her jawline or cheek, holding her close, etc. It grounds him as much as it reassures her and makes her feel loved, seen, and safe. He doesn't fully understand just how deep this gesture goes with her, but he knows she likes it, that it seems to comfort her, and it does the same for him.
Also kind of already canon: this man hugs and kisses with his entire soul. It doesn't matter if the moment's dreamy and romantic, if it's hot and heavy, or if it's a small peck on the cheek or lips ten years into their marriage. He exudes love for her in every gesture.
He's the king of high romance gestures. It's not an act. He simply believes those are the things you do when you love someone: the hand kissing, the arm rested lightly around her without crushing her, the hand at the small of her back to guide her, and even instinctively putting himself between her and any potential threat (walking with her farthest away from the path, putting himself between her and a particularly grumpy goose when they're going for a walk, etc.).
He never catches the dancing bug, but it's not unusual throughout the years for the Inquisitor to have bouts of nostalgia and for him to pull her in and dance like they did at the Winter Palace.
He is either extremely inexperienced or a virgin by the time we get to Inquisition (which makes him about 10x hotter given how he looks and how easily he could've had anyone, but that's a different conversation). What he is not is incapable or unskilled. Pure, genuine, authentic, honest love and devotion go a long way on their own. Paired with someone who's such a model student and who's athletic? His lady's not complaining.
Since I know this is more along the lines of what people would rather hear: he is an extremely attentive lover by instinct. He's very aware of her and wants to make every moment of physical intimacy they share count.
He quickly memorizes her body: what makes her react and how, and just how long he can drag things out. That chessmaster patience is lethal. Those hands alone are...something else. If you've ever even shaken hands with someone who swings a bat, a sword, an axe, or a sledgehammer a lot, you'll know what I'm talking about.
Speaking of, chess has gotten spicy on occasion. Articles of clothing start piling onto the floor with every chess piece taken out of the game. Implications are always a bit heated when the knight and queen are in play.
He does in fact "need a woman over him" at times. Those honey-amber eyes change in the best ways, and his body's a show of its own.
He'll never be the type who can do nothing all day, but he does grow to sincerely appreciate slow mornings with her and the...lazier style of activities those entail.
He radiates hot husband and good-in-bed energy. He is oblivious to this fact. While he has gathered that women (people in general) find him attractive, he has no real idea of why this is.
Cullen as a Dad
I think he would be the perfect blend of gentle, fair, and firm.
He can be a little tough in some ways (like making sure his children understand the importance of being able to defend themselves, etc.), but there's no malice or cruelty in it. It's just straightforward, non-sugar-coating, informative guidance.
Cullen is fully aware of his own imperfections, and he never expects perfection from anyone else: not through actions, skill, demeanor, or faith. He's very grounded while he would of course want his children to be the best versions of themselves for their own benefit, he would not be the kind to get onto them for any weaknesses.
He'd be the one who'd help his kid get over a fear by standing by that child and taking baby steps to face and overcome it, and he'd teach them young that overcoming anything is a process. There's no shortcut, and there's no instant victory over a real challenge.
He will absolutely put his foot in his mouth and mess up sometimes (intending a comment as encouraging or comforting but it not coming out that way at all), but he catches himself quickly and rephrases it. This happens most often with a daughter (especially in her pre-teen/teenage years, when she's a bit sensitive about everything).
He'll make mistakes as a parent, but they won't be the kind of mistakes his children spend their adult years trying to overcome.
He'll teach them responsibility. He'll be fair and will naturally be the type to command respect from his children just like he does with the adults around him. The kids will always see him as a safe place they can turn to...and also know better than to try to pull one over on him.
I think the real danger with Cullen's parenting wouldn't be strictness, but the Inquisitor watching him parent and wondering way too often if they could handle having another kid. 😅
He has all of the qualities that make not just a good father, but a great one. And also a very, very hot one.
Not to delve too deep into psychology, but their kids will grow up to be highly independent, confident, and have every skill they could ever need to thrive. A daughter would also have high standards in any boys or men she eventually takes an interest in and will know her worth. A son would eventually become the type of man parents pray their daughter will find. They both would've had a very, very good example their entire lives right in front of them.
They will also always have a dog in the family (as they should). Plus, there's the full Rutherford bonus with those kids having Aunt Mia, Uncle Branson, and Aunt Rosalie (plus at least one chessmaster cousin). They also have Uncle Varric for the best storytime sessions.
Nothing brings him more joy than seeing his family safe and happy. Knowing that he's a part of it. Knowing that he played a role in that safety and happiness. To Cullen, that is bliss.

When Ran comes out as a lesbian to him, Kogorou is initially very happy; at least she's not "in danger" of horny teenage boys
That is until she comes home from a sleepover at Sera's with her neck covered in hickeys

Can I ask for (platonic) Lute & Emily, with a generally chaotic s/o? They’ll do harmless little pranks, mess around with them (staring at Lutes forehead while she’s talking just to make her paranoid and annoyed), and being sassy to anyone
Good evening my dear! I HAVE YET TO WRITE FOR EMILY SO I'M EXCITED!
Warnings!
None other than Reader being a little menace, and a decapitated head gets thrown, oh also this is in headcanon format!

I imagine it's way too early for your shenanigans, Lute's trying to make herself a cup of coffee and you're sitting on the counter swinging your legs and staring at her forehead, saying nothing just staring like this

She just glancing at you from the side of her eye, like does she have something? Did she have leftover blood on her?
She looks away for one minute to put cream or something into her coffee and when she looks back, WHAM you're there just staring into her soul.
I'm imagining you're a fellow exorcist, So extermination day you just have some poor sinners decapitated head and you just yell "Hey Lulu! Catch!" And Lute gets a head thrown at her,
I imagine you and Adam get along well, like partners in annoying Lute, and team up with pranking Lute, Adam yells that the bathroom has water coming out of it and there's just a bunch of water filled cups coming out of the restrooms.
You and Adam legitimately tried to convince her that the each of you were the other person, you wearing Adams oversized robes and Adam's wearing an extra exorcist uniform because you don't trust him to not accidentally get something like rib sauce on yours and it's just a whole bit.
"[Name] why are you wearing Adam's robes?? And Adam why are you in our uniform??"
"No idea what you're talking about Lulu! I'm totally Adam the first man the great dickmaster sixtynine, tits, dicks, ribs!"
"And I'm obviously [name] the super badass, hatchet welding menace!"
Lute needs a drink after that.
Lute's scolding your fellow exorcists and you're just two feet behind her mimicking her movements and mannerisms, your fellow exorcists struggling not to laugh and Lute looks back at you only to see you stone faced and still, then when she goes back to scolding them your back mocking her.
After she loses her arm you get her a couple of these thingys

Yeah she's using that middle one to punch you, she's sticking a knife or something on it and using it.
Adam would've thought it was hilarious.

Okay so I'm imagining you're heaven's version of Pinkie pie! [I'm watching a Pinkie pie comp on YouTube while writing]
You go to Emily with ideas on how to welcome newbies, how to make the citizens happy,
She has an idea you ADORE? You throw up confetti in the air, it was in your pockets.
She's feeling down? You're there with balloons, one of those cakes that you can set on fire and whatever else you think can make her smile.
You're very toon-like, like running in place before falling to the ground, hopping around in place of walking! Maybe you're a bunny themed winner! Or something that hops!
Emily enjoys your presence! You both like hopping around heaven helping out and cheering up the folks around! I imagine heaven has welcome parties for the new folks weekly so you, the resident party planner get a good feel for what the newbies like and implement it into the parties!
Prank wise you THRIVE on whoopee cushions, you know those plastic babies? You break into wherever Emily and Sera reside and you hide them EVERYWHERE.
Same with rubber duckies.
For some reason though Sera gets a little antsy when she sees them, so you stick with the plastic babies!
You get VERY excited VERY EASILY and it just spreads over to Emily, you're a bundle of contagious sunshine, I imagine the two of you have like the coziest sleepovers ever, like a bunch of snacks, blankets, cuddles etc etc.

Good evening folks! I hope you enjoyed this, I'm sleepy and so I'm gonna schedule this and pass out, as always thank you for tuning in have a wonderful evening folks!
also we have a discord if you'd like to join!

okay so, sera, I have to know: where do you draw inspiration from? your au ideas are so creative!!! I'm just so curious!!! I want to see how that little mind of yours works!!!
You've said this to me before and it makes me happy but I don't know if I'm actually all that creative 😭 I get a lot of inspiration from whatever media I'm consuming or real life! Star Power is because I know a little about idol culture from my friends who are into kpop and I thought being an idol would fit Gojo perfectly. Cruel Summer is based on but not completely accurate to my high school experience/friends! Hard Feelings which is for Itoshi Rin is based off a book I read.
These are such lame answers lmao I wish I had something more interesting to share. Most of the time my writing comes from searching for the right scenario to explore a feeling. For example, Knight Gojo is all about devotion and betrayal, so knights and their oaths would make perfect subject material. Ask Me No Questions And I'll Tell You No Lies was about pining and the tension between reality and unspoken desires, so I put Yuuta and mc in college as childhood friends. Since college is usually the point where people break away from their hometowns/past, having Yuuta and reader choose to cling to each other in contrast would emphasize those feelings. Starboy dealt with pining but when physical proximity has been removed from the situation, especially since mc was also physically distant from Gojo even when they were on Earth (radio show). It was also because I just watched a documentary on space lol.
Thank you for coming to my sleepover <3

Hi! The original anon poster who started the garden AU!
I was thinking of a high school au too!
Lucifer, Adam, Lilith and Eve are childhood friends. Lucifer has always been in love with Adam.
Lucifer is still the king of hell, he was married to Adam in Hell after a lot of harsh ships. Something happens and they’re reborn on Earth. Lucifer is told if he can make Adam fall in love with him again, they’ll return to the life they had.
Lucifer believes the easiest way to do this is to have Adam regain his memories. He does this by repeating his actions in hopes it would spark something. He starts with wooing Lilith when Adam confided in him about his crush on Lilith. Then when Adam began to date Eve and Lucifer is able to get Eve to cheat on Adam with him. His actions succeed! But not in the way he expected…both Lilith and Eve regain their memories but not Adam. Lucifer only succeeded in Adam hating him.
Adam leaves their friendship group due to the betrayal - he thought Lucifer was his best friend. They had sleepovers and everything growing up.
Lucifer is comforted by Lilith and Eve who told him Adam will come around and forgive him, just as he did in the previous time period. They all expected Adam to come back and be their friend again….only he never did.
Adam ignores them all. He doesn’t talk to them. He’s completely broken their friendship with him. Two years have passed and they’re all on the verge of graduating school and about to go to university.
Stakes get high when they learn that Adam is going to attend a university on the other side of the world. Where God has decided he will die and return to Heaven. Now everyone is going overdrive before Sera is able to get her claws into the first man again…
The best way to prevent this, Lucifer decides is to reveal his true identity. Only it freaks Adam out even more because hello!! He had had sleepovers with the devil himself !
Adam has not just Lucifer to deal with chasing him through the school, but Lilith and Eve too. He just wants to service his senior year in peace…without any backstabbing assholes or two faced quacks.
That sounds like a wild fucking ride man!
Poor Adam, he can't catch a break lol

Human au so when Sera and Emily move in for a time Carmilla puts them up in a guest bedroom immediately Emily ends up sleeping in Clara's room because this is only supposed to be till their apartment is livable again so may as well have fun and treat it like a sleepover. Meanwhile Sera is in the guest room at first though Carmilla tells her that if she wants she can spend the night with her eventually near the end she does join Carmilla.
Carmilla has more guest rooms than she will ever need. She had put Sera and Emily both up in separate rooms, because Sera had insisted she didn't want to impose. They would stick to their own part of the house, and that's all they needed -- a place to sleep, a roof over their heads, maybe some spare linens and towels. Sera had even insisted on paying for all her meals. No matter how much Carmilla had brushed off this type of rhetoric, Sera is still stubborn.
Emily in her childlike honesty had asked incessantly to sleep with Clara or Odette. Sera had told her no. She's a big girl, and can sleep in her own bed. That didn't stop the girl from making her way to her friends' rooms in the middle of the night, climbing into bed with Clara, and looking up sheepishly at Carmilla when the matriarch finds her there the next morning.
Sera scolds her, and makes her fall asleep in her own bed that evening. But again, Emily goes wandering to Clara's room, and after about four nights of this, Sera all but gives up. Emily is scared, she says, and feels more comfortable falling asleep next to her friend. Sera concedes that at least she's getting some sleep...her sister has been so afraid, but also so brave, during the ordeal of their apartment flooding. If sleeping in one of the other girls' room gives her comfort, she can live with that.
Carmilla teases that she and Sera should have a sleepover, as well. If the girls are enjoying each other's company, why can't they? Sera blushes, but doesn't think too much of it at first. She's used to Carmilla teasing her...kind of gets a little thrill out of it, actually. But sleeping in the same bed as her hostess...who she's pretty sure has a crush on her, and is trying to woo her way into Sera's arms...
It doesn't give her a bad feeling. That's not the problem. Sera finds she likes it...maybe a little too much. Carmilla has been so selfless and generous by inviting them into her home. Sera feels like she's taking advantage of her kindness sometimes. Carmilla continues to tease her about it, but Sera turns her down. Multiple times. Carmilla brushes it off, but Sera can tell she's disappointed.
She turns Carmilla down...until the last few nights of their visit. Sera had gotten the call the week prior that her apartment will be ready in a matter of days. She and Emily can go home. Get back to normal. Return to their normal life. Sera would be lying if she says she wasn't...disappointed.
Being in this huge house has shown her what it's like to have a family. To have a support network for herself and Emily. Emily will be sad -- the girls have been like sisters to her. Sera will, too. She will miss it all...miss this...whatever this is between her and Carmilla.
A few nights before they are scheduled to go home, Sera finds herself making her way to Carmilla's room, in the middle of the night. Her feet are like a stranger's feet. She can't control them. She doesn't know what they are doing. She's a silent observer in her own body. But soon she finds herself standing in front of Carmilla's door, with her hand hovering inches in front of the wood, about ready to knock.
She knocks. Once. Twice. Three times. She hears shuffling on the other side of the door, and it opens with a quiet creak. Carmilla is standing there, in her nightgown, with a small robe hanging off her shoulders. She's surprised to see Sera there, who is looking at her so sheepishly, Carmilla can practically see her blushing in the dark.
"Um," Sera starts, unable to find words at first. "I was...I...I couldn't sleep. Can I...sit up with you for a while?"
Carmilla doesn't answer at first. Just stares her up and down, like she thinks this might be a test, or like Sera will jump up and say "Psyche!" as soon as she agrees to let her in. But there is nothing but naked honesty on Sera's face, and her body language shows no indication that she's pulling Carmilla's leg. She looks...nervous.
Carmilla opens the door wider. Now Carmilla looks like she's feeling awkward, too; maybe she hadn't expected Sera to take her up on her offer. She probably hadn't.
"Of course," Carmilla finally says, moving to the side, so Sera can enter the room.
Sera's heart jumps in her chest. She nods, swallowing heavily, and enters. Carmilla closes the door behind her.
What has Sera gotten herself into now?

happy DADWC! for your Solas/M!Trevelyan rivalmance: mean smirk- teeth bared grimace- scowl.
thanks @saladruiner! @dadrunkwriting
solas/m!trevelyan (unhealthy rivalmance, solas is abusive), 769 words, sexual tension/angst. cw for manipulation and implied abuse. also featuring cole and dorian, for some reason.
"Now, Cole, about introductions." Dorian is perched on the sideboard of the spacious room the men of the Inquisition have been given to prepare for tomorrow's ball, examining Cole with a sort of hopeless affection. "When someone asks you for your name-"
"It's Cole," Cole says, unecessarily.
Dorian pinches the bridge of his nose. "Yes, I know, but that's not how people talk here. You need to say something impressive."
"Leave off, Dorian," Seong says, smiling. "He's plenty impressive on his own."
"What do you say?" Cole asks, blinking up at Dorian earnestly. "When you introduce yourself?"
Dorian puffs up like a peacock, and sweeps a magnanimous bow. "Altus Dorian Pavus, recently of Minrathous, at your service."
Cole sighs, head hanging low. "That's so many words. 'Dorian' is the only one that matters."
"I think that was rather sweet," Dorian says after a moment. "Oh, dear. They're going to eat you alive."
"Dorian," Seong says again, warning, before Solas can say something cutting and protective. "Cole, you're just fine as you are. If you want other names, we can make something up. Just don't ask Sera for suggestions." He crosses to the bed where Cole is sitting, cross-legged, like a young man at a sleepover, and slings an arm around his shoulders - partly because he wants to, and partly to remind Solas that Cole is his own person who can form bonds with whoever he likes.
He's not sure why he even brought Solas on this journey, come to think of it. He certainly hadn't planned to. Since they arrived at Halamshiral - no, since Seong had encouraged Cole not to take the amulet - Solas had been surly and possessive, less prone to hiding his true feelings than usual. He sees it now, when he looks up to catch Solas's eye and is met with a scowl in return. He's ashamed at the heat that flares up in his belly at the sight of someone who despises him so.
"I think I'd like a surname," Cole muses. "Just for the night. I like how people use them like flags."
"Well, you can borrow mine," Seong says brightly, breaking Solas's scorching stare. "There are so many of us scattered across the South, no-one will notice an extra."
"Cole Trevelyan," Dorian pronounces. "A good a name as any. Now we just need to work on your outfit."
Cole laughs, and doesn't protest when Dorian drags him to the antechamber with the hastily-unpacked wardrobe and full-length mirror. Neither of them see the way Solas straightens up from the shadows and catches Seong's waist in a vice-like grip.
Seong doesn't give him the satisfaction of flinching. "Problem?" He asks coolly, not turning around.
"Yes, as a matter of fact." Hot breath on his ear. "It is the height of arrogance to dress up a spirit of compassion like a doll and claim it as a brother."
"Cole is human too," Seong reminds him. "And unlike you, he actually likes me. Why shouldn't he belong to a family, if he wants to?"
"Yes, Inquisitor," Solas drawls, putting a condescending emphasis on the title. "Why shouldn't everything belong to you?"
"Don't you ever get tired of twisting my words?" Seong demands, breaking the hold on his waist. He turns around, hands on his hips. He hates that Solas has several inches on him. "I don't know why I brought you with us."
"Perhaps because you know you need a lesson in humility," Solas counters. "I will give you one tonight."
Seong risks a look back over his shoulder to where Cole and Dorian are distracted by an affectionate argument, and hopes the movement conceals the shiver that runs through him as Solas's voice darkens and becomes as rough as his insults. "And if I say no?" He asks, defiant in the face of the inevitable.
Solas allows himself the luxury of a mean, hungry smirk, before he arranges his face back into its usual cool mask. "You won't," he says. He runs an elegant finger over the day-old cut on Seong's lower lip. "You never do."
Seong tells himself he will. Throughout dinner, througout the late preparations for tomorrow's ball, he tells himself - and his companions - that he will retire early and rest. He even makes it as far as his own room before the weakness sets in.
Josephine fusses over his split lip and dark undereyes in the morning. Solas smiles kindly at him as he passes a teacup across the table, and tells him he should get more sleep. The tea does not wash the taste of lyrium and copper out of his mouth.
