🎮 If your OC lives or would live in the modern world, would they like video games? What would be their favorite game?

Hallowrove: Would probably really enjoy open-world exploration type games, ones with a lot of sidequests and hidden secrets and things like that. Unfortunately can't name any really from my own experience but I think they'd find that cool. Perhaps I could even interest them in some Sunless Skies :} I feel they might lose interest pretty quickly after all the map areas are unlocked but I think they'd enjoy it.

Null: Does anyone remember slither.io. Yeah. I think Null wouldn't care about most games but the constant energy consumption and growth would appeal to. ....wait. I'm small brain. The bigbrain enlightened real answer is Stardew Valley. This guy figures out that you can 1. Hoard money and infinitely progress and 2. Get more items and perks by befriending the villagers and they go Hog Wild. They'd have a bit of a roadblock at first because they wouldn't want to give up any crops to sell, but after figuring out that gets them money to get more crops they'd immediately sit down and get like 500 hours on it. All without fixing a single community center room.

🕐 Was there ever a time your OC would have given everything to turn back the clock 5 minutes? What happened?

Hallowrove: ...Hm. Very interesting question. After a fair bit of thought: no, I don't think there was. Their biggest mistakes, the ones with the most consequences, are things that they would do again (or at least thought they would 5 minutes after the fact) and the things they might wish they could've prevented are beyond what 5 minutes would fix. But overall, they really don't dwell very much on the past and what could have gone differently. When they reflect on it, which is not terribly often, they remember it as it was, not as it could have been. I think probably the closest thing to a moment like this would have been the end of their duel with Feducci, when they thought they might be dead permanently, because that was really sudden and unexpected and jarring - but that was ages ago and not very significant now. Still, probably the best and only real example.

Null: If I stretch some definitions a little...yes. Absolutely. Null does not think of giving things for wants like turning back time. Null's only real "want" is to feel less hollow: giving anything is antithetical to that, and there's nothing they care enough about to turn back time for anyway. They want the Name too much now to think about turning back the moment they were told about it, even though it would probably be most helpful. But the person who used to inhabit the space that Null does? She would have given anything and everything to undo the single rash mistake of stepping into the Waswood.
