The Blasters are a little flashy to give of the Entertainment Duelist vibe.

I've been hyper fixating on Slugterra recently, so here are some headcanons

•Eli is fluent in the language native to Slugterra, thanks to his dad. He grew up speaking the language along with writing and reading it in preparation for the drop along with English.

•Sometimes Eli will curse at someone in English if he's really angry or he just switches languages when he's flustered or scared. The gang know that when Eli starts speaking the language of the burning world that they're in deep trouble

•Everyone has accidentally eaten slug food at least once

•Trixie punched a guy who was being racist towards Kord and Pronto once

•Kord was shocked when he found out Eli was driving a mecha without a learner's permit, let alone a license

•Pronto is a really good cook

•Junjei has nightmares frequently about his time as the dark slinger

•Eli has nightmares frequently about everything he's witnessed in Slugterra that's traumatized him

•Eli sleeps with his slugs after the events of It Comes By Night

•Pronto usually patches the team up after missions if they get hurt

•Everyone in the Shane gang has adhd to various degrees

•The day and night cycle in Slugterra are longer by thirty minutes to an hour. There are Sundrop and Moondrop gems in the highest points of each cavern that act as a sun and moon, respectively, allowing people, plants, and animals of Slugterra to get the same effects from real sunlight

•The carvens experience rain via slug migrations or when enough fire, water, and air slugs gather. There's also the occasional opening of a thermal vent that causes the humidity to spike and then causes rain when it meets cool air

I genuinely forgot about Grenuke slugs my bad. In the slugterra au since Danny's parents are working with Dr. Blakk I imagine their research was on Dark Water and Ghouled slugs. I imagine Danny's accident in this au was actually him getting attacked by a ghouled Tazerling. The ghosts would probably be alive slingers in this au. I feel like Damian would start out with a few ghouls in his arsenal but got them cured as soon as possible since I imagine Bruce has a Boon Doc, maybe they were originally Thomas's since it's my understanding that Thomas Wayne was a doctor and a healer slug would definitely fit.

Oooh, I like the idea about Damian and Bruce’s slugs. Especially with Thomas Wayne having a Boon Doc and maybe it gets passed down the family to Damian too (since he wanted to be a doctor XD)

However! I would like to propose a new method of death for Danny in slugterra: dark water! I think we can definitely combine the Tazerlings in there somehow, but I also feel like dark water would be the main method for Danny turning partial ghost, since it actually has those properties too.

Slinging With the Demons AU

Okay, so @booksrbetterthanpeople's Miraculous: Desconstructed Tales of Paris and @fayflutter's Apex Predator and her and @thefcguy's bad end aus ended up inspiring me to make another crossover story. This time, with Slugterra (if anyone remembers that).

Background

So, in this AU, the Surface and Slugterra discovered each other and eventually made tunnel systems similar to the slugs so people can go between the two. As a result, Slugs and slug-related crimes happen all around and under the world.

For generations, the Shanes have helped keep the peace among the two worlds, and their name is listed among the greatest heroes in the world, especially after Eli's escapades in stopping Dr. Blakk from destroying both worlds with his ghouls. And now, it's his daughter's turn.

In this AU, Megamorphs and the Elementals weren't discovered.

Story

Raymie Shane, the daughter of Eli and Trixie, moves to Paris to stay with some extended family, at her parents' recommendation, with her Flaringo slug partner, Matches, and ends up in Miss Bustier's class as another celebrity student.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on your view, her school life takes a turn when she has to adjust to the family business a bit early since Hawkmoth, with a never-before-heard-of power, appears in Paris and is searching for the Miraculous while corrupting people and slugs alike.

She now finds herself fighting and hunting this villain with two teammates. But unlike Ladybug and Cat Noir, she's doing it with only herself, her gear, and her slugs.

Unfortunately, her actions both in school and as a hero might alienate her from one of her teammates, whose envy might put Raymie at risk.

Main Characters

Raymie Shane

The daughter of the famous Eli Shane and Trixie Sting. Raymie is as brave and reckless as her parents. She's confident, outgoing, and a skilled slugslinger. Ever since she was a kid, she's been looking forward to inheriting her parents' duty to protect people and slugs alike.

As a child, the first slug she bonded with was a Flaringo slug she named Matches. Because of this, she doesn't want to inherit Burpy like her father did from her grandfather.

She eventually moves to Paris with some extended family to explore the world at her parents' recommendation. Due to her family background, she becomes one of Francoise Dupont's celebrities along with Adrien.

While in Miss Bustier's class, Raymie actually strikes up a friendship with Adrien, who admires her freedom. Unfortunately, it puts her at odds with Marinette and Chloe.

When Hawkmoth appears, Raymie ends up becoming the 'sheriff' of Paris and works with Ladybug and Cat Noir to stop him, without a Miraculous of her own. She's surprisingly effective due to her talent for slugslinging.

Raymie's Slugs

Matches, Slimer (the Lariet), and Rook (the Rammstone) are the slugs Raymie found while growing up. Her parents didn't want her to collect many until she was older.

Matches is the leader of her bandolier and is the most level-headed and responsible (but has a temper that he's not afraid to show).

Slimer is the lazy prankster of the trio. He loves messing with his sibling slugs, slinger, and others. He's her main utility slug and lets her zip around like Ladybug.

Rook is action-minded, excited for the next battle, and wants to get stronger to protect his slinger.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng

And now introducing Marinette in this au.

She found a Phosphoro slug and named it Shimmer. While she isn't much of a slugslinger, she and Shimmer are close, Shimmer acting as a light to let Marinette work on her designs in the dark.

Marinette tries to be friendly with Raymie. Unfortunately, Raymie's closeness to Adrien is driving her crazy. She develops a bit of an inferiority complex that eventually gets out of hand when spurred on by others. She slowly tries to sabotage Raymie's image in school and as a hero as a result.

She can use her yo-yo to launch slugs like a blaster.

Adrien Agreste

Adrien got a Blastipede slug he named Boomer as the last gift he ever got from his mother before she vanished. He's a rather big fan of the Shanes due to studying their history and admiring their feats.

He and Raymie end up bonding as the new kids and being celebrities. However, the media loves to question if there's more to their relationship, especially since there have been times Raymie saves him. But they're only friends, with Raymie being one of the few people not trying to date him, or get him to date a friend of hers.

He still likes Ladybug, but might grow worried if he notices her actions toward Raymie later on, since Ladybug won't start sabotaging right away.

Raymie represents the freedom he dreams of and is happy to be her friend, especially since his father is content with their connection and even allows Adrien to go with her on adventures, like going to Slugterra to collect more slugs for future Akumas, to build a connection with the Shane family.

He can use his staff like a blowgun to launch slugs.

I feel like I should make this clear.

Yes Junjie was the dark slinger for 20 years making him in -Years-Being-Alive- 36

And Eli being 16 means I shouldn’t be shipping them. (Which come on it’s tumblr there been a lot worse)

But how I perceive it is, Junjie didn’t age mentally or physically and the Goon controlled him for those 20 years without Junjie being mental present. Junjie showed no way of fight to gain control (unlike Eli when he was about to be taken) so I believe he was in a limbo state. Not aging and having no idea where he is.

So to me Junjie is still a child. I get why people don’t ship it especially because Junjie seems more “mature” (main reasoning) but have a look at Junjie‘s culture growing up. He was destined and trained since he was young to be the Eastern Champion taking on the trope of “growing up to fast” and not really getting to be a child. Which is like a normalised Asian troupe in shows/ movies based around western culture.

“He’s a mentor to Eli, it’s predatory”

I get where some interpret this idea, but Junjie at 16 (before the attack on the eastern caverns) he was a mentor towards the younger kids of the east, as he matured faster then the rest of the gang would of had too, as well he isn’t even that mature technically. As he couldn’t understand being as a team sooo, he’s still learning. He also was taking on more responsibilities at Eli’s age and living with a complete-ish family and support system most of his life up until that point, where Eli had only been living in Slugterra for a year without his dad around, probably no mother and no friends.

I’m not saying you don’t have to change your mind on the ship, but look at it from a different angle and stop shitting on people for wanting different dynamics

Slugterra ocs because why not(Eastern Cavern Edition)

Daxia(In the same age as Junjie)

-From Eastern Cavern and Junjie's close friend. Like both Junjie and Lian, she's also becoming one of the Emperor's puppet(?) known as the Swordswoman(She's more of a sword wielder than slinger). But eventually was set free thanks to a young woman named Nagisa and her slug named Peruru(A fanmade slug known as the Mystique Slug ). While being a 'close friend to Junjie', they were times that they show affection towards each other especially when they reunited

Nagisa(22 years old)

-From a family of Underlords but running away from her home(At the age of 15) after she save Peruru from being sent to the Emperor. Nagisa was known as the Unknown Wanderer during her years of hiding in disguise, after unexpectedly freeing Daxia from Emperor's dark power, Nagisa let her stay with her until they stumble across The Shane Gang and Junjie few weeks later

Peruru(Mystique Slug/fanmade slug)

-She was a legendary slug capable of seeing the future and healing. But sadly, she was only able to see a really dark future and because of this, humans grow to hate her. Seeing her as a bad omen despite and later on, becoming a forgotten legend. Human's hatred are the reason why she slowly forgot her healing power until Nagisa sling her to Daxia and unexpectedly heal her, making Peruru slowly remember her other power beside the hated power

Xu Lan(16 years old)

-Young girl who is skilled in archery but live on the streets and stealing from others after the death of her parents. She was found by the Shane and decided to follow them temporary. After the Emperor's defeat and Shane gang went back to 99 Caverns, Junjie take her in as his new student

Is Shadow able to use the Shadowclans normal abilities when hes not in full shadowclan mode? Were your Eastern Caverns OCs close to Junjie before he became the Dark Slinger?

Ope I guess this post is making its rounds for whatever reason. Look I just wanna say I made this post like two years ago and I mostly made it to have fun making silly gifs of slugterra and in the episode Eli and Junjie are like competing with each other to see like who is the best slugslinger I can't remember.

The point is it was all in good fun but I don’t really appreciate having my post be reblogged to scold people who like the ship or use it as like a life lesson. I personally don't even ship it, it was just funny how Eli like winked at Junjie. Look I get it Eli is 15 and Junjie is… confusing. I don't think the writers were really thinking that deep about what age he's supposed to be and they never really explain it. Like honestly from what I remember they were like you were the dark slinger for like 20 years… anyway let’s move on the Dai Fu is doing evil shit again.

Anyway there are weirder and even more problematic ships out there it’s just best block it or the people who ship them and move on. The internet is full of freaks and you’re not gonna stop them it’s just best to stay in your own lane.

Okay why has no one talked about how in Stuff of Legend it feels like Eli and Junjie are flirting with each other

Like they challenge each other in like the gayest way with Eli saying he hasn’t thanked Junjie yet for teaching him for being as great as a master as he is. And then Junjie replies with a well you can thank when you are one like what?!?!

And Eli accepts that as a challenge and they decide to try and hit a can off of a rock and there’s like…. so much tension 😂

And then they do THAT for the ENTIRE of the episode. Like against the Pyritor and then they are in like a life or death situation and they’re like oh I held up two pillars oh really I held up three. Well I held up 20 like boys boys please 😂

Thank god for Trixie though as she clearly is not having any of it and it’s so funny how she yells at all of them Can we go now?!?! 😂

Honestly this episode was great and a lot of fun considering the other contenders are second chance and get pronto which are not my favorites. Shout out to the gays, gals, and nonbinary pals

INTEREST YIPPEE I'll make a post when I publish the first chapter, but it might be a prologue instead depending on how bad I want the fic out when I start lol!

I will now explain the lore because I wanted an excuse to do so, it's under the cut.

For now, the only main anti-hero i've come up with is a businessman using dark water as a power source for his machines and, in turn, using what remained of Blakks old mines. He manufactures "electrical" parts for things such as blasters and meccas. He's not a slinger, but he does have a blaster and a singular slug. I made up the slug. Can't say what it is or it'll spoil the whole plot around it. He's an ally to the shane gang, at times, and at others an enemy. Nothings personal with him though.

For how Eli gets Will back, it relies heavily on the Goon. Blakk finds an easy way out, but Will and the Goon start a partnership of sorts to get out. The Goon tries telepathy to get help from the elementals, but each one refuses except Doc. Doc gets the Shadow Clan to help, and the Goon is healed by Doc after. Will keeps him and names him Enigma. This starts a mini-war between the Shadow Clan, the shane gang, and the Darkbane and ends with a few Darkbane escaping into Slugterra but the majority were pushed back.

The guy from above starts working with a few Darkbane, and that's where he'll be a villain for a few chapters.

Another main thing is that I changed it so dark water will have lasting effects on both humans and slugs that were around it for long periods of time. Mostly neurological issues, but if exposed to a high concentration of it it will cause visible changes in your anatomy. Blakk is affected physically, visibly, but i'm not sure how yet.

Also note that this is very much subject to change because I'm still on season one and I haven't watched Slugterra in about six years-

I mayyy be making a slugterra fic since i've been watching it. I still need to rewatch seasons 2-5 though. I have a general idea, however, if anyone wants to hear about it. (I'm hyperfixating on slugterra)
