You stiffened, glaring at him from over your shoulder as you turned the last corner landing. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Jake raised an eyebrow. "I caught you off that ladder the first time we met. You were putting up Halloween decorations when Bradley scared you half to death." You winced, hoping Jake didn't catch it. "Yeah. I guess you did." "And then you, twirling in your dress later in the night..." You cut him off, your voice sharper than you intended it to be. "Is there a point you're trying to make, Jake? Or are you trying to relieve your glory days?" Jake was silent for half a second before he asked, "Glory days?" "Isn't that what every college football jock says about their time spent throwing a weirdly shaped leather ball around in a display of exaggerated manhood while pursuing post-secondary education?" Creak. His footsteps on the wood behind you stilled, and Jake remained frozen, shoulders tensing as he spat, “You did not just insult football.”  His voice had been low and dangerous, but it didn’t stop you from continuing to climb. His fists tightened at his side, but he didn't move. "You have no idea what you're talking about, Midge." You finally did pause, turning back to look at him. "What? Too close to the truth?"  Jake's jaw clenched, his eyes narrowing with a flicker of something you couldn't quite place. "You don't know the first thing about me, Maeve." You scoffed, placing a hand on your hip. "And whose fault is that, Jake? You never gave me a chance to know! Not before you..." You caught yourself mid-sentence, scared out of your mind what almost came out of your mouth. Absolutely fucking not, would you tell him. Nope. No. "Not before I what, Midge? Hmm? Enlighten me!"  he challenged. You took a deep breath, swallowing the words you couldn't let slip. "Just forget it," you muttered, shaking your head and turning away.

Mutualistic Attraction/ Relationship

(General mutualistic attraction flags)

Mutualistic attraction is a type of attraction that is only felt under the circumstance that it will benefit two (or more) parties.

For example; Only getting a crush, or feeling romantic attraction, if it would benefit all parties involved. In this example, the mutualistic attraction felt would be romantic or RMA (Romantic mutualistic attraction).

A mutualistic relationship could happen for multiple reasons for example;

* An exclusively WLW person could get into a RMR (Romantic mutualistic relationship) with an exclusively MLM person due to having an extremely homophobic environment to appear ‘straight’ or to be close enough to help each other out.

* Two aplatonic people may be in a PMR (Platonic mutualistic relationship) only when they feel they need to fill their social need or want to share information with someone.

Though this is technically more of a describer for already established attraction and relationship types; it may be used as its own. Really, it can be its own undefinable thing as long as it’s in the context of all parties involved benefiting.

These types of relationships may be long term or extremely short term.

And this type of attraction may be affected by being waveric

August is SMA Awareness Month – and I’m excited to present the first of four Sims sets created in collaboration with @smaselfempowered. 🧡

As part of the “Kennst du SMA?” campaign, people living with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) shared a sentence describing what SMA means to them – paired with a pencil-drawn portrait. These powerful posts were originally shared on social media … and now, they’re coming to the Sims! 🎮🖼️

Set 1 features statements from Svenja, Jasmin, Leonie, Sara and Thomas.

Three more sets will follow throughout the month.
