OH IM ILL…. what if lewis tells george that if he doesn’t believe him, that george should test his “theory” out by flirting back with the her and seeing how she reacts. and so george ends up saying something flirtatious (still awkwardly, but it somehow LANDS) and she’s caught off guard. george remains oblivious, much to everyone’s dismay.

aughh yeah i think that's the thing with george. sometimes it doesn't quite land and is a bit awkies but that's sooo endearing anyway because he's sincere, and then other times it really does land and you're left wondering like, since when has he been so charming!?? but yeah crap okay. at a dinner or something. and lewis has harped on it to george enough that he's fed up and tells lewis okay i'll show you but she's not going to be affected. and idk. i think literally all it takes is george being direct. he doesn't even have to say anything THAT flirty, but he just goes over to her and tucks her hair behind her ear brushing her neck or collarbone as he goes or puts his hand on her waist very tenderly. etc, things of that nature. and thinks it's done absolutely nothing at all to her. and tells lewis as much!

but yknow later. when he's gone to the bar or the bathroom or something. reader goes to lewis and is like did you see that!? did you see him touch me like that!? what the fuck!! and it is so clearly obvious to lewis that she can't stop thinking about it or him even though she's trying to act SOOOO unbothered by it.
