Can I request a snippet from the Damian Prince series about how Diana would react if/when she finds out about Damian's crush for Jon? Unless you already have plans for this and don't want to give spoilers. I just really like the series <3

Diana is normally a person who isn’t surprised.

In fact, she’s almost never surprised.

Having the Wisdom of Athena does that.

However there are some exceptions to her Wisdom.

It comes when her heart gets in the way of herbrain in little things.

Damian growing up and actually developing romantic feelings for others is one such thing.

Damian is Diana’s baby, her little child that she loves so much she would tear the world apart if he so much as asked.

Naturally, she doesn’t want him to grow up.

Which is why she’s taken aback when Damian tells her, quite nervously, that he…likes Jon.

Jon who is Clark’s son.

Superman’s son.

“Mother?” Damian says, and she can see him fidgeting with the gold leaves on his circlet, the blessed metal bending under his fingers but never breaking.

“Mother, are you okay with this?”

Ah yes, the unfair prejudice the world typically has towards anyone​ not liking opposite gender and the like.

Which is absolutely ridiculous considering that most of theut superheroes are in fact pansexual or at the very least bisexual.

It’s so common among the circles that literally no one cares if you’re transsexual or not.

You are you and that’s not going to change. Why focus on that when you have to save lives?

Then again, Diana might not have made her position on this issue clear enough.

“Damian, my dear, I am happy as long as you are happy.“ She replies gently over the comm link, gracefully dodging the claw of the massive beast before her.

“I…” Her son trains off, and Diana takes the moment to give a loud battle cry and finish the monster before her.

“I believe I am happy with him. He makes my stomach flutter, as Lady Aphrodite would say.” Damian says firmly.

Diana smiles, using a dagger to take the fur of her deceased opponents. “Then I am pleased that you have found someone to be with.”

“Thank you, Mother.”

“Your welcome, Damian. I love you and shall speak to you later.” Diana says as the leader of the dead around her comes out of his cave.

“Goodbye, Mother. I love you as well.”

The line goes dead as the creature roars and Diana smiles, lifts her sword, and charges into battle.
