as i am about to finish s3 and begin s4, i feel that i am at a place in which i can enhance my morning commute by putting on txf playlists. so if anyone has spotify playlist recs... pls feel free to drop a link <3
i mean obviously i still have a WHILE to go, but!!! i am well-established at this point. i love individual character playlists AND ship playlists! i love playlists that are “fox mulder would certainly listen to these songs” and playlists that are “these songs are literally about MSR and Phoebe Bridgers CLEARLY was watching season 3 when she penned this"

In PZ I am now in the absolutely FASCINATING position of possibly having too many calories. Because one (1) of my sheep has some kind of mutation (I checked her genetics in debug bc I was like 'that cannot be normal') where she produces enough milk for like THREE STICKS OF BUTTER PER DIEM. ON HER OWN.
Bless Butterball, literally all I will need to make it through winter (if I survive that long) fat and happy is her and the fishing pond.
However, I have her and chickens and several other sheep and some cows.
The cows are not producing milk, unsure what's up with that, but like. They do not need to. They can just produce more cows, eventually. Even that's not that important because I have traps and the aforementioned fishing pond.
#I hope I live because now I have named one of the sheep and I'm Invested#like#I have to live and make bigger pastures. for my sheep. and her little sheep descendants.#I am less emotionally invested in the cows so far but may get there we'll see#so far I'm mostly like 'sheep are clearly and by a great margin the best thing you can have in this game'#they produce milk AND wool AND you can pick them up to move them#moving cows is highkey annoying#I actually went into the game files to up the container limit on animal trailers#bc I was like#are you actually trying to tell me that during a desperate situation I am only putting one cow in a two-animal trailer.#please be serious.#and they may eventually rebalance this but at present I'm like 'why would I bother with pigs all they produce is meat'#now if they turn them into corpse disposal systems I will revisit that#but I'm really not sure feeding livestock you intend to eat zombies is a good idea#the zomboid virus isn't zoonotic in game but if this was real life I would be very worried about that#now imagining zombie pigs and holy shit that's horrific I'm deleting that thought#feral pigs are bad enough thank you they do NOT need to be Worse and Scarier#tea plays too many games#project zomboid

Kite Story Event 2 & Duel Lines Test VS Yuma | Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V TFSP Re-Translation Project (WIP) (Project announcement video/post)
Finished up finalizing my subs for GX 124-125 a few weeks back, so after some other dabbling on the side (like giving best gem boy his voice back and setting some groundwork to expand on that for everyone for a future "deluxe" version of this re-translation [for example, I've been working on expanding the voicetest for all characters getting voices down the line]), I've gotten Kite's story events in TFSP translated! Not a bad story overall for lone wolf Kite here, and it was neat translating lines for people like Tron and Dr. Faker. I also wanted to show off Kite's in-duel lines, and hopefully more use of the anime OST helps keep it from feeling like it runs a bit too long again haha.
With Kite done, I'm off to now finalize my subs for GX 126 [just the one this time, as I'll be doing 127-128 together to lead into 129-130 and Yubel's reveal]; hoping to then come back and work on both Kotori and Rio to knock out ZEXAL, but stay tuned!

The immense satisfaction that comes from saying "wait, how old is this book?" when Amazon tries to sell me a very old-fashioned-looking work for 'just £1.99' and then finding it on Project Gutenberg for free instead.
#that history book from 1900 is going to be very out of date but sometimes there's some appealing element in there#and obvs many primary sources themselves are already old anyway#and old fiction too! mary shelley wrote a novel about perkin warbeck! games like cookie clicker and candy box 2 are so good for my focus tbh. i will be working on something and i will have my little clicker tycoon game running in the background so beautifully. satisfies my need to be opening a new tab and be doing something other than projects, buuuut doesnt let me play for too long bc. clicker game. you have to wait. also i get the satisfaction of 200k+ cookies per second isnt that awesome

#other people had worse days than i did yesterday#but yesterday I managed to fry both backups of all my digital writing for my entire life#along with all the other file detritus I've collected since I was 15#but it's the loss of my writing that's doing me in#I had so many projects I wanted to come back to that I can't ever see again#I don't even remember half of them#I'm looking into data recovery for the damaged drives but. god. what if it doesn't work#what if it's all gone forever?#improving#anyway if anyone knows anything about data recovery for damaged drives hmu i guess
