Art vs Artist 2024! This is my first time doing one of these. Chaos Theory took up most of my time in the art department this year and I’m happy with what I’ve created for this amazing show. Thank you to everyone who has been here I appreciate it so much :)

Stanford never became friends with Fiddleford.

Instead he got himself a different small friend group who cares a lot about him. At least about the Ford he pretended to be in college.

A kind, soft spoken formerly bullied genius who researches very dull stuff in Oregon and definitely not anything weird. Their Ford would never break any rules or ignore safety measures [unlike that other student they heard about during their college years.]

And then Ford stops answering their calls and loses his grant. 

It’s time for an intervention and they start pestering Ford with letters and calls until he finally agrees to meet them at a science convention, but he’ll take his brother with him.

They’re relieved! Ford is with Shermie! They like Shermie! It's a good thing that Ford still has one brother who isn't a good for nothing selfish criminal who destroyed his entire future!

If they ever get their hands on Ford’s evil twin they’ll make sure he’ll regret ever messing with their friend. Ford is too nice for revenge. They aren’t.

Meanwhile at the not-yet Mystery Shack, the Stans freshly survived their own angsty canon divergent tale of two stans AU and locked Bill out of Ford's mind like a week ago.

Stan: I don’t know how long Ford will keep me around but this will be good for him. He needs some friends to take care of him after I inevitably get kicked out again!

Ford: I only agreed to this because Stan insisted and I still haven’t found a way to thank him and apologize. I hope all my “friends” die in a fire.

THOUGHTS ON YASAMMY

JWCC: Season 5 Ep. 7 - "I've had crushes on boys before so, I know what that's like, but I think I might feel that way about Sammy." - Yasmina Fadoula

JWCC: Season 5 Ep. 9 - "The truth is Sammy, I've fallen for you.. like hard.. real hard..." - Yasmina Fadoula

I never officially said this (at least on here before) but I love how initially when Yaz was understanding her feelings for Sammy, they gradually went from a crush to full on fallen for her. Like internally she knew it was always love. When she first figured it out, as to not overwhelm herself, she said it was just a crush but deep down she knew it was more than that, and it didn't take long for her to vocalize that to Sammy.

JWCC: Season 5 Ep. 9 - "I know. I heard you earlier. I just wanted to hear you say it again because I've been wanting to hear you say that since I don't even know when." - Sammy Gutierrez

I think we all agree we wish we could've seen Sammy's pov of everything. Especially since she doesn't even know how long she's felt that way. Maybe it was a love at first sight kinda thing. Or maybe it was after she saw how much Yaz was willing to defend her against Brooklynn about the whole phone thing. Or maybe it was when Yaz didn't think twice about saving Sammy, the first time that happened or even the second time. Who knows not even Sammy does.

And after everything they've been through it all leads up to them getting together. Like canonically ending up as a couple 🥹😭.

But... with that said we do end up missing the entirety of their relationship. The first dates, the first actual spoken "I love yous," and other firsts that happen in a relationship 😉 (😜 kidding this is a kid's show.)

So while we miss all that, another ship that was broken up upon entering jwct, they at least got a flashback and an old video of a happy couple moment. We didn't get any of that for Yasammy. The flashbacks we did get of them, they weren't even together physically. On top of that, a more recently established couple will probably get to say their I love you's on screen. Hell they almost did already! Not to mention the number of kisses they've already gotten! (😒 bombastic side eye to the writers)

But let me review real quick what we've gotten so far in jwct.

In the 1st season it takes 6 episodes to even see Yaz and Sammy in the same frame together. And yes we did get two kisses and yes we got Yaz threatening and distracting an atrociraptor trusting Sammy to tranq it. Not to mention Yaz's "My girl" 😭. But they stopped them from an epic make out with explosions behind them scene 😩.

Onto season 2 where they don't even get into the same boat together. Yes they're all camp fam and that's okay Yasammy doesn't need to be together 24/7 but I personally wanted them in the same boat (call me greedy.) However, we did get Sammy cursing everybody out (in my head) to hurry up and go back to get Yaz. But when they get her and they're about to hug they get interrupted 😞. But then they do hug! But they only hugged 😩 (again call me greedy.) And that's about it for season 2.

Then we have season 3 of just constant fighting. Yes we did get pet names finally but they were used during arguments. And whether those arguments were out of character or not, I will say this though... season 4 jwcc a similar thing happen when Yaz was projecting her feelings onto Sammy & Brooklynn. Sammy even told Yaz that she was mad at her and Brooklynn too saying that "telling us how to feel or what to do isn't helping" which is basically what Yaz was doing with Sammy this season. But do you remember what happened back then? Yaz apologized all but 2 minutes later, letting them know that she only had their best interest at heart. Then do you remember what happened next?? Sammy hugs her and forgives her! They made up immediately. And you all remember what happened next with Yaz's famous words of having feelings because of Sammy 😭.

Anyway... I guess 6 years into a relationship isn't always going to be as easy as it was before but... just saying though they had a similar conflict before and they communicated through it.

Ughsksj I just want more. More Yasammy, more happy Yasammy, more being an actual couple Yasammy. An episode just them away from the camp fam. They had their own room this season but we didn't get to see a parallel scene to that of jwcc season 4. (imagine them talking it out and falling asleep facing each other bc they probably wouldn't let them cuddle in the show 😭)

I just feel like this break up (if they had to absolutely break them up) could've happened in season 1. Keep them together during the time jump as they did, but they could've put the fight at the end of season 1. That way we have all the awkwardness, moping, and yearning in season 2. Then we would've gotten the reconciliation in season 3 which would've left us with 1 if not 2 full seasons of happy, domestic Yasammy. That would've perfectly led to an engagement early season 5 with a time jump wedding scene at the end of it like they did with jwcc.

What has been Vincent's thoughts on reader? Especially the latest date fiasco and his moody reveal turning into probably the best bj of his life

Holy crap this answer got so long and drops so much unrevealed lore lmao. Enjoy!

My general characterisation of Vincent with regards to sex is that he is very interested in giving, but not so much receiving. Most of his sexual experience was with women at 'Turk Academy', who gravitated towards him because he was great at eating out and didn't expect too much in return. Vincent is demi and bi in my fic, but has a preference for women (because they make more mess lmao), not sure if that's relevant but *shrug*.

Due to him being demi, most of his experience being casual and how Lucrecia used him (which I've hinted at a little bit). He doesn't see fingering/eating out/etc as things that are overly emotional or complicated. Especially in the 'modern' day, as he can just keep his clothes on during all of it.

Reader made a deliberate effort in the beginning to understand him and get closer to him, just as a friend of course, but I don't think it's too surprising that he 'latched on' to the first person to take an interest in actually getting to know him in a long time. I do wish I'd added an extra chapter near the beginning to make this a bit more clear lol, but oh well.

After Hojo's experiments on him, he doesn't think anyone could ever want him. He actually is that person covering the bathroom mirrors and showering in the dark lol. He interprets Reader initially showing sexual interest in him, not as her actually wanting him, but as her wanting him to pleasure her, which he has no problem with doing.

She tries to address this in chapter 9 (the one after the stargazing but before the eating out), and explicitly tells him that she wants more, but he's so in denial that while he says he'll try and be better, in his mind he doesn't believe her, and to cope with it reverts to trying to ignore all of it with sex. Which was basically his relationship with Lucrecia lol, everything is too complicated so we'll just fuck and ignore all of it.

Vincent caught feelings after the fight where he transforms and the conversation afterwards. He didn't realise that's what was happening at the time, and has been in extreme denial about it. A lot of his back and forth behaviour has been him trying to reconcile his feelings with his own self-doubt and just general trauma and issues, and that he generally didn't see sex as a big deal, until suddenly it is.

All of this then builds up to the point where he just can't handle it anymore. He hasn't tried getting off after all of the experimentation, and finds that he can't on his own. I might write this as an extra chapter one day, but I feel like he can't push himself over that metaphorical edge because of his self-loathing, hatred and fear of losing control over his own body.

When he asks her for help getting off that first time, he's actually asking for a lot of unspoken things. The fact that she doesn't shy away from him, is very enthusiastic, and works within his boundaries, is a huge deal. That interaction gives Vincent hope that all of this might work.

Which brings us to the Gold Saucer date. I love this chapter. It might not be super obvious, but almost every single interaction that the two of them have with the attractions and the other group members has narrative significance. (send me another ask and I'll do a whole analysis on that lol)

Vincent decides that he is going to use this time at the Gold Saucer as a test, to see if he thinks that he can make this work. Vincent has a lot of hangups about his body and that he's not normal. He has quite an old fashioned mentality about courting someone, dating etc (but not fucking lmao). And is very aware that he can't take her out to share a meal/drinks, or do a lot of general date things. He considers this to be a huge deal.

He starts off in a good mood but grows continually frustrated throughout the night as he is reminded of all of his perceived shortcomings, and the fact that none of them seem to bother her.

By the time the G-bike VR is finished, that frustration reaches its peak and Vincent is sort of minutes away from losing control and transforming. She tries to comfort him, but he realises that nothing she says to him will work. Like, she says it's not a big deal that he can't play VR, when that's not the problem, the problem is that he is so inhuman that even a computer is rejecting him. He tries to remove himself from the situation as fast as he can and storms off. At the beginning of the date, he had some hope that he wouldn't have to reject her, but at this point he is completely convinced that he is going to, even if he has to be forceful about it.

He just stews in his own anger and self-loathing, not noticing anything around him or how his emotions are actually physically affecting her. When she calls him out on it and he actually looks at her and sees that she is basically shaking and paralysed with fear (I think I played this down in the actual chapter, but in my first draft this shit was intense), he realises that he needs to control himself. The fact that she followed him and is still trying to help him even though he is making her feel like that dissipates a lot of his anger and just leaves him with the frustration.

He doesn't want to reveal too much about the experimentations that were done to him, and honestly I think he doesn't quite understand the implications of a lot of it either. So he tries to explain while glossing over a lot of it, which means he ends up talking about more of his general human sexual trauma instead lol.

He figured that she might not shy away from the monster arm. He had hoped that showing her that would just explain everything, but of course it doesn't. I think that Vincent's self-loathing means that he's not that good at predicting how other people will react. When he thinks through conversations in his head, he assumes everyone has a terrible opinion of him to start with. So, she catches him off guard when she talks about how she already knows he's a 'monster' and doesn't care.

He continually keeps throwing out these bullshit reasons, that ignore her feelings on the matter and she's sick of it. She realises that she needs to hold him the fuck down, make him shut up and realise that she doesn't care about his dumb excuses. But at the same time, she's also smart enough to realise that it'll just make it worse if she forces him. It's important that it's him that takes his clothes off, exposes himself, pulls her into position etc. I really like that scene and the buildup because it's clear that they're both trying to show and enforce consent while being angry and not talking about it.

As for the actual blowjob. Look, she sucked his soul out through his dick and he is now 100% ride-or-die committed. He has never had anyone treat his body with any actual care. Obviously the experiments were bad, but even before that, having had mostly one night stands and then of course Lucrecia. He hasn't ever had someone care for him like that before. The fact that Reader is showing that care for the first time on his ruined, experimented-on body, destroys him. The way that she checks in on him, reassures him, and has taken note of his own cues (The 'I'm here', is so fucking important), convinces him. All of those things are the actual, polar opposite to how Lucrecia treated him (and I do intend to write a prequel about that too lol)

I love their little sex affirmations. My fave part of the fic honestly. The way that they can bounce off each other, reassure each other and show understanding with a just a few words or hair pulls. I love it lol.

Anyway, Vincent starts acting a bit differently after the Gold Saucer date, and I am so excited to show you all. I am writing furiously, but these things can't be rushed lol.

Passion Project Announcement!!!!

I have exciting news! Something is coming— a project I’m super passionate about and am thrilled to finally announce! “Stick Together For Survival”, a multi novel series centered around a crossover of Bendy and the Ink Machine, Jurassic World, Five Nights at Freddy’s, and the Monsterverse. It’s taken lots of patience and work to construct; I’m not even done yet with all I have planned. But I knew it wasn’t a fic I wanted to ever give up on.

So, I’m happy to announce the series will kick off with its first novel: “Ink and Amber”, scheduled to release mid September in honor of my birth month!

It’s a very niche crossover, but it’s something I’ve been planning on for a while now as a love letter for four fandoms that mean the world to me! I hope you’ll grow to love it to! Lucien actually knew cpr and medical stuff before he met Ben! He was taught how to dress/clean wounds, how to dislodge items from someones throat, mouth to mouth, etc. Due to him being his little sister's main caretaker after his brother became unable to.

His current job is actually somewhat of a "Dino vet" and he designs prosthetics, all things he was taught by his father, who worked a similar job on Isla Nublar before he passed.

I actually have a cute headcanon that on one night on Nublar, Ben ended up getting cut up pretty bad and it kinda just- made a bunch of pent up emotions burst and cause a bit of a panic attack. It mostly revolved around how there was dirt in the cuts and now he was "contaminated" so Lucien helped him clean and dress the wounds while letting him know he was gonna be okay, and that's when Ben realized his feelings for Lucien were more than just friendship🥺

this is the second year in a row that i was all excited to do stuff for Jurassic June on my toy collector Instagram but have been derailed by life. last summer it was that i still had to reorganize my room and my collection and this time some other stuff came up and i know my heart wouldn’t be in it but i think i may try to post something here or on insta for like all the old movie premiere dates. maybe just rewatch each one and talk about it. cuz i have important memories with every single Jurassic film (except The Lost World) and i wanna share them.

i love my major i love geology/geologineering and paleontology but i hate how… loosey goosey this field is about precision… like obviously they are good diligent scientists but most applications of this study are so large scale that like, decimal points either arent going to make a difference or you literally *cant* in good conscience claim a result to that precision. and when i was mapping in wyoming last summer so much of my job was “just write down what you think is true to your best logical conclusion and if someone disagrees they can go climb the mountain themselves”

Thinkin about how pre-bombs (and somewhere deep, deep down in that irradiated heart of his) coop is not afraid of love. Love is a comforting feeling. He doesn’t associate love with butterflies in his stomach but rather a sense of immense calm. Being with the one he loves doesn’t give him jittery feelings. It relaxes him. It’s such a calming, warm feeling.

He is firmly (again, way down in there, so deep he’s almost complete forgotten) of the mindset that it’s better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all. And in that regard, this is also one of the reasons that he’s not a particularly jealous man. It’s not just that he trusts his partner to be faithful but it’s also that he feels like if a partner is going to cheat on him or betray him in some way, it’s just how it’s meant to be. Doesn’t mean it won’t hurt or crush him to have it happen bc it does. But there is always this part of him that views it through this lens of like, the truth always comes right when it’s meant to. And also he doesn’t see it as time wasted or lost of a relationship ends on those terms. He can enjoy what it was and feels secure in feeling that some parts of it were real and all of it was real to him and that counts for something. And he can, after a time (he’s only human after all), be grateful for the learning experience if nothing else.

His fans are in the chat, spamming questions like, “Who is he?” “Is he another streamer?” “What’s his name?” and Danny’s just laughing it off every time, like, “Eh, maybe I’ll introduce you guys one day.”

The fan theories are wild. People have made entire reddit threads trying to piece together clues about who this mystery guy is. Some think Danny’s boyfriend is a celebrity. Others are convinced it’s someone famous in the gaming world, but no one has any proof. It’s like the internet’s biggest mystery, and Danny’s just sitting there, fully aware of it, leaning into the chaos without giving away a single detail.

Meanwhile, Tim Drake—yes, that Tim Drake, Gotham’s resident CEO of WE and vigilante—is just chilling in the background. He’s the boyfriend, obviously. The one who makes sure Danny actually eats between streams and sometimes joins him off-camera to play co-op games. But Tim’s got no intention of revealing himself. He likes the anonymity, the whole “mysterious boyfriend” thing. Plus, with his whole double life as a vigilante, staying out of the public eye (more than he already is) isn’t exactly a bad idea.

But the best part—Danny’s fans? They’re convinced his boyfriend is some kind of superhero or vigilante. The way Danny talks about him—like he’s always busy, never around during certain hours (because, you know, Tim’s out patrolling Gotham), and the fact that he’s never once shown up on camera? It’s practically begging for wild speculation. And Danny? He’s just letting them run with it, saying stuff like, “Oh yeah, he’s totally saving the world right now, can’t make it to stream today.”

So now Danny’s got this massive online following, all obsessed with his mystery boyfriend, while Tim’s just quietly in the background, living his double life and probably smirking every time Danny plays along with the fans’ theories. It’s lowkey hilarious, and neither of them is ever planning to set the record straight. They’re just having way too much fun with it.
