#Feel like my pokemon followers here would enjoy some good eats.#Yveltal are very dedicated parents. They sometimes care for the chicks even long after they've fledged.#But they have some god awful sight and don't have the best of scent receptors.#Adult Yveltal don't eat in the traditional sense. They don't need to hunt or scavenge. They passively consume the life force of the well. L #So over time those senses have just degraded.#Which leads them very vulnerable to brood parasitism.#A pokemon whose chick is black and red can easily be passed off as a Yveltal chick.#Due to this their population is horrifically low.#Legendary as they are. I will never get over the fact that Athena’s first line in We’ll Be Fine is “I had a friend before, and he was a lot like you” instead of “you are a lot like him”. It’s almost like Athena is treating Odysseus as the “loving father of Telemachus” instead of Telemachus as merely “the son of Odysseus”. I AM NOT OKAY

#taking a bullet for a stranger; it’s just instinct for them.#GOSH No Man’s Land era helena + cass duo had the potential to be SO cool and interesting…#and yet there was like maybe 2 or 3 issues where they interacted. and not even very positively until after like issue 9 of Batgirl 2000.#cass thought so highly of helena and genuinely valued hel’s opinion of her due to her appearing in cass’s nightmare sequence in Batgirl 200 #cass also wanted to be friendly with helena in Batman Chronicles and made the effort to say hello first even when helena shoved her away.#did cass even know that helena made the costume she wore every night? of course cass wanted to be batgirl-#but that almost entirely influenced by her own guilt + compassion and barbara’s past legacy as batgirl.#did cass know helena wore the costume before her?#did she have this fear that if she wasn’t good enough the batgirl mantle would be taken from HER too? THAT early on?#i think about them so often…specifically the wholly dedicated nature they share…#helena was this important legendary figure to cass. shrouded in darkness and almost unknown but still so important to her nonetheless-#helena was there fighting and saving people during No Man’s Land. of COURSE she’s important. she’s a hero.#to helena though i’d bet cass was almost the same way. albeit a bit friendlier and eager. did helena wonder if cass would fail too?#or would that eagerness to please keep the new batgirl standing unlike it tearing helena down in the end?#NO MAN’S LAND BATGIRL CONFLICT YOU COULD’VE BEEN LEGENDARY…#cassandra cain #helena bertinelli #bruce wayne
