- l'amour est bleu by laylayli ... 40k words and 5/5 chapters. perhaps my FAVORITE kaisagi ff and one of my fav bllk fics oat. its about isagi starting to babysit for kaisers younger sister and them falling in love during it. isagi just cares so much for kaisers younger sister and kaiser slowly starts loving him so much for it and isagi cant help but fall for kaiser its just. so endearing and i love it <3.

- world class hypocrite by aashimar ... 80.5k words and 9/10 chapters (EPILOGUE PLEASE PLEASE UPLOAD). read tags! explicit sex scenes throughout but its staged post-canon. this fic made me SICK. rinsagi au where isagi was outed as gay by rin before the wc and his life was basically ruined afterwards. the LONGING and RESENTMENT in this is the absolute peak of society. both rin and isagis characters are written so amazingly like theyre so flawed and theyre very messy people but theyre like really actually in love with each other. they say a lot of fucked up shit to each other but i still swear by this fic! the plot was SO SO intriguing and the way its written is really realistic. the chemistry is absolutely INSANE in this fic. my personal fav bllk fic and one of my fav fics ever! belongs in the hof tbh

note: these are how i envisioned them to be when i started forming this smau. but along the way, there might be times their personalities may shift a little and/or expand more. just wanted you guys to take note of this in case i forget some of the details i wrote down here or make something along the way that might not be written here. but rest assured the core of their personalities will be consistent throughout !

i had to research a LOT because i have to focus on their majors (at some point) for this story ! don't worry though i'm dumb so they're not gonna sound all academic much really LOL. i just had to make it make sense and create a world where they were really focused on univ (esp for the main leads).

Bro I made cajun shrimp a while ago and I wanna make it again it's so good but my dad doesnt like cajun seasonings💔

loathes smores, he just thinks theyre too much and not worth the mess.. he doesnt have much of a sweet tooth, and the only reason he would eat one is because you went through the effort of starting a fire and bringing the stuff out and meeting him in the woods

has his back to you while hes eating his, hes not quite to the "hes fine with lifting his mask up around you" stage, and its going to stay like that for a long while

viscously rubbing his face afterwards to get rid of any leftover mess, he hardly ever talks or makes a sound but you can hear him hissing under his breath as he works

snatches up any napkins or wipes you hand him and rubs his face clean- may rip his mask off to clean the insides of it because he put it back on not realizing there was still more mess on his face

you have to beg him to take his nasty crusty gloves off before you even open the bag of marshmallows- for both your sakes... you love him, really you do, but you cant stomach the idea of him touching the same food youre going to eat with said gloves

doesnt much care for smores actually, he thinks theyre too messy... it gets absolutely everywhere and he isnt too fond of the feeling of his mask sticking to his face where he missed some spots

it also doesnt help that he doesnt fully take off his mask, only lifting it up enough to eat the damn thing... he wouldnt have to worry about it if he just took the entire thing off... but oh well

likes the marshmallow moderately roasted- far from burnt, but toasted enough that its softened

would prefer a different treat next time

TICCI TOBY

you know what? blasting him with the beam of "has never tried a smore before in his life because the author has never gotten to try one"

burns his marshmallow but he prefers it that way, both texturally and flavor wise, you may think him insane for roasting it until the outside looks like coal but it brings him joy!

doesnt mind the mess it makes, if he gets some of the melted marshmallow on his hands he might wave it in your face and pretend hes about to touch you

very passionate debate on whether or not the chocolate goes under or above the marshmallow- he thinks it tastes better above but most people do it under.. he swears it tastes better this way! just try it!

you know how some people will take those cracker/meat/cheese lunchables and make a giant stack? he does that with the smore and its as messy and horrific as it sounds

FIRST AND FOREMOST. this is probably obvious by the everything about me but i am a huge fan of the AUs. i think people should keep making their own sanses and frisks and charas until the end of time. cringe is dead error is the best one geno is close behind. yeah ink is in third. being my favorite doesnt mean hes the BEST. anyway now onto something completely irrelevant to that

i think gaster is very interesting i also think people should remember the mystery man sprite is not explicitly gaster and there are many FUN value events that arent tied to him in any way and hes not in deltarune. hes not. i was there when people started building up the fanon lore i watched it happen i know exactly where all these theories come from and its not in either game. anyway read handplates.

EVER. undertale is one of the best songs in any ost. so's megalovania but everyone knows that. toby is the reason im insane about leitmotifs and screamed about it on main every time i heard any part of requiem in a different ultrakill song bc i CANT TELL WHAT ITS THERE FOR!!!!!!!

asriel dreemurr is my favorite character design. ever. specifically god of hyperdeath if i have to choose, but all 3 of them are just. A+. hopes and dreams/SAVE the world also amazing themes, probably my favorite final boss ever as well.

sans is also very interesting and the fandom obsession was completely warranted. i only wish it didnt mean people stopped caring about the rest of the cast

i adore alphys and the true lab segment. it never becomes less impactful to find out the tumblr stereotype character is actually dealing with severe anxiety and guilt about horrors she didnt even mean to commit. "ill send everyone back tomorrow :)" haunts me. that said i love that they get to go home eventually. and theres no angst about how theyre Not the Same or whatever, everyone is just happy to have their family members back, even if theyre sharing a brain now.

new home segment is the best-written part of the entire game. the progression of every monster you've ever seen as the story gets darker, walking around the house with hints to how the tale ends, the fact that it's identical to home in the ruins, and then. first enemy you ever saw. "you're going to be free." i don't understand why "despite everything, it's still you" is used out of context (which imo completely evaporates any impact. just seeing the "it's you!" flavor text will NEVER compare to how it is actually going through the entire game and looking at the mirror again at the end.) when thats there. i painted "071" on my graduation cap, under the delta rune.

i love deltarune but people need to stop comparing the two. and also acting like the lore of each game is interchangeable.

its kind of sad that people primarily get caught up in the angst and horrors of undertale when that's such a comparatively small part of it. undertale is about hope. when the 6 human souls disappear in the neutral ending, sans still tells you they're getting out someday in the phone call. undyne has an entire monologue about it. every time the end theme is that it's going to get better. sooner or later, we're going to get out of here and live the lives we want to.

i think this is a game a lot of people need right now.

hello! Im currently writing a character in what has turned out to be a majority Black cast, she values her appearance a lot and really enjoys getting into fashion and presentation- shes the type of person to spend an hour picking an outfit and another two hours on makeup to go to the mall. Given how ahe is as a person and how much she enjoys looking pretty and elegant and noticeable, and that she really likes variety in style, do you have any hairstyle recommendations? I want to show a variety of hairstyles in the cast (rn I have a character who starts with an afro and midway trhough the story changes to locs as a long-term change to represent their character arc, a charactrr with box braids which they tie back in a ponytail most of the time, and a character with a short frohawk) and my current favorite options for who she is as a person and her style choice would be box braids, locs or an afro, all of which (to my knowledge) can be styled pretty differently day to day which is what she likes. She could wear wigs, but I think she enjoys deep hair care and showing off how like. This is her work her skill her passion and a representation of her soul. Im happy with any of the three first options but theyre all options other characters have and again id love some variety to show off as many gorgeous Black hairstyles as I can, so id really love your input on any other ideas or if ive misunderstood any of the three im considering for her.

I am a little confused; these are three different people, yes? I assume we're talking about the character that... No, actually 😅 I don't know which one you mean. OH it's a fourth person! Okay. I don't have any suggestions myself personally because there's so many styles. If you wanted to get fun, I'd literally go to my lessons and click those links on afros and twist outs and just have her try them out one by one. Or, I would go down a rabbit hole of Black hair and fashion YouTubers and Tiktokers- you could figure out what products she uses, what styles she could range in, and other details that would make it feel more authentic.

☕ Hot Chocolate: Hi! Let me start with what I think is weird issue. Putting box braids in a ponytail MOST of the time, sounds like a waste of a look. 😅 So if you want the character to have various styles Box Braids is not the way to go. Locs and an Afro are your best bet for a character that wants to rock their natural hair in various ways. I personally would suggest going to YouTube or TikTok and finding a Black woman who styles herself on the regular. I promise there are many lovely ladies that will take you through their daily steps.

Why byler? Is my question what is it about them that’s so popular

ooo this is a fun one. im assuming you may be one of my newer followers who didnt follow me when i was in the byler trenches. welcome. let me explain.

i think probably the biggest reason people gravitate towards byler is that its extremely fun for people who love film analysis because most of us genuinely believe it will happen in s5. for me specifically, this is the entire reason im here. i first started liking byler when s2 came out but it was casual. i just thought they'd be cute together. once s3 came out and i saw someone point out that mike was framed perfectly in a closet, that was my turning point. thats when i got insane about them because i actually believed its where they were headed.

its always fun to ship your favorite characters and engage in fanfics and fanart, but when theres a genuine belief that this is the direction the story is actually going in, its just a completely different experience. its a whole other world. its no longer about the characters themselves anymore. its about the cinematography, the props, the color palettes, the music choices, the blocking, the lighting. all of these things and more have provided evidence for why we believe byler will be endgame. its the perfect ship for people who are really passionate about filmmaking as a whole. 

many of us, including myself, got our degrees in film or have a background in filmmaking. ive made my own films and i plan to make more. one of them was screened at a festival. ive written academic papers on shows and movies. i've taken college film classes where my professors talked about stranger things. im a professional photographer which coincides a lot with film. i have this blog to talk about my favorite fictional media online. every time i watch something new i read long analyses on the media. if they dont exist, i write them myself and post them here. i love talking about and learning about and watching cinema on a much deeper level than someone who just throws on a show when theyre bored. so watching two complex characters not only have romantic tension in their actions and dialogue alone, but also have enough depth to analyze the practical filmmaking choices that prove they are going to end up together…. well its like fucking cocaine to me.

another reason is that mike wheeler, in my opinion, has the potential to have some of the most well written internalized homophobia ever. and i think he differs greatly from a lot of other characters with internalized homophobia because the writers have had the patience to not fully confirm his sexuality until the final season. many other queer characters who struggle with their sexuality come to terms with it over the course of one season or less. or they write it with dramatic irony so the audience is always well aware they are queer from the getgo, even if the character doesnt know yet. while theres nothing inherently wrong with any of these choices, i think having a more outside perspective on internalized homophobia and having that perspective be told slowly will make for a much more authentic and powerful queer coming of age story. i think all of mikes flaws and animosity towards both will and el will pay off so much once we know what hes been going through. i believe this character actually has the potential to reach people who arent accepting of the queer community right now.

byler also just resonates with the queer community so much. a lot of queer ships, especially mlm ships, are dominated by straight women, sometimes to the point where the ship doesn't even feel like its a part of queer culture anymore. its just nice to have a gay ship that feels like its for gay people. and as much as i love a really well written tragedy, its also nice that we can see a happy ending so clearly.

in short, its just fun. the whole "will they/wont they" element is fun as hell. ive never had that with a ship before. i tend to lean towards slow burns that i know will be canon (snowbaz <3) or tragedies that are so gut wrenching i dont even WISH they got together (jackieshauna <333) byler however just speaks to my film loving soul on such a deep level. its perfect for me. its so fun to analyze and read other people's analyses. i cant wait to see how it unfolds in s5.

OKAY SO LIKE. i feel the need to speak on their possible chemistry based on canon first because everything trickles diwn from here in my mind naturally: edwin murray literally just hates women i fear, guy who made his wife into a robot after death and she has lost all her passions besides being a mother and wife. Curious Mr Murray.... and the emotional and physical neglect of both his wife and child. edwin murray isnt really a people person, hes an inventor and hes ambitious but hes not connected to the humanity in the arts(points to the ai written, acted, produced tv show etc.) whereas William is like almost like painfully so ... like hes a childrens entertainer, he physically performs in the suit, William is invested in the arts in a very intimate and personal way much like Fiona and i think that is where they click a lot and like everything kind of evolves from there.

This was inspired due to wolfertinger666's post I've just reblogged, and will be a long one, but bare with me here.

I been on the internet like way too long and too young for my age, and I never understood spreading callouts. I don't think I ever have in my life. Before I even understood them as a tool used to socially kill trans people and push an agenda of anti-queerness, I always just thought the contents tended to be stupid, and vast majority of callouts often like to use different manipulation and deception tactics that the average person can easily be manipulated by. I think most abuse survivors can agree with me here that they have at least seen one callout in their lives where they have read and easily recognized what the person spreading the callout was doing was emotional manipulation.

I have always been that person who reaches out to the person subject of the callout to help them, and I've always been disgusted in the anti-critical thinking and pro-harassment sentiments surrounding callouts, because those are the exact same things that I've been subject to after being in an abusive relationship online.

When I talk to people victims of callouts, they often have the same fears as I do due to me being in an abusive relationship: Paranoia people are stalking you, not feeling safe to share anything, having to change identities to get away from the harassment, etc. And thats because people who make callouts and create harassment mobs use the same abuse tactics. I had to delete all my accounts, change names, interests, and stay off the internet for months to try and get away from my abuser, because he would stalk me and get others to do the same, and convinced everyone that I was the one being shitty. I stayed paranoid, and sometimes still do, that I will be "found" and messaged again even though its been 6 years since we broke up.

When you have experience yourself in this sort of thing, you realize people who change their identities to get away from callouts aren't trying to "get away" due to nefarious reasons. they just want to live and grow, they want an actual support system and to be better, and never consented to their faults being publicized, and a lot of the time their faults being put on them have never even happened, or are blown out of proportion. It started to click when you realize callouts often try their best to dehumanize the person at hand, and really try to hammer in the " born inherently evil" or "too far gone" point to get people to socially outcast their victims. It often works even with people who would normally be against that sort of thing, I notice a lot of people end up deleting the callout they helped spread later saying they don't actually care or realize how ridiculous the op is being, without realizing the op still got what they wanted. Callouts only spread if theyre able to get you to that " reactionary " level of emotion to manipulate you to just doing anything.

People don't realize that the thing theyre doing actually has lasting effects on the other person. The thing you reblog that you care about for 2 days and then forget will follow the other person forever, because TERFs and Kiwifarms motherfuckers are a different breed of passionate for harassment. My IRL bestfriend I've known for a decade has a girlfriend who made a joke 6 years ago that went viral that everyone took seriously and she still, to this day, gets messages harassing her. The joke wasnt even offensive or directed at anyone, people literally just hated her because she was a communist.

So anyways, I don't like callout posts and neither should you. Make no exception. Literally just keep it to yourself and gossip with friends. Reactionary harassment campaigns do nothing. You're one "fuck up" or one "walking into the wrong person" to getting one yourself. Don't allow callout makers to turn your brain off.

it was summer in hogwarts, which meant trades were in full swing in hogsmeade. there were people standing outside there shops, offering wares such like street food (that lily though looked so artificial, it couldn’t be edible) and clothing.

james had been begging lily for this date every since they started at hogwarts. he seemed locked in on the thought that he would date her, grow up, get married, and grow old together. lily was not. honestly, she gave into the date only caise of pity.

but as it turned out, james was actually a lovely person, when he wasn’t trying to set severus’ hair on fire, or something of the sort.

james had taken her to hogsmeade, and so far, gotten everything that she wanted. a cold butterbeer, a few sweets from honeydukes, some flower seeds (lilies, of course), everything she needed. and now they were heading back, james insisting on escorting lily to the common room, before he had to go sit detention or something, presumably.

as the walked into the castle, they were engaged in some easy conversation about the new quidditch season, which of course, resulted in james talking game tactics. lily wasn’t really listening, but she enjoyed hearing his voice, so she let him continue.

after a while, james stopped talking, and his pace seemed to be slowing, so lily matched him, resulting in to two of them making a stop infront of the gryffindor door. lily opened her mouth to speak the password, james grabbed her wrist, stopping her.

“lily, um.. i just wanted to say, thanks for today. uou made me really happy.” he smiled, his usual grin replaced by something softer.

“it’s nothing, i enjoyed it. i should be thanking you for getting me a bunch of stuff.” she smiled, looking down, trying to hide her small blush. a small silence settled between them, though it wasn’t really awkward. just.. quiet.

“lily, i don’t want to jump too far after one date, but-“ he pulled her wrist slightly so she was completely facing him. “can i.. kiss you?”

she looked up at him, eye to eye. she stepped a but closer, nodding. he gently leaned down, pressing his lips to hers. they were soft, and tasted of cherry chapstick. he almost unconsciously ran his tongue over her bottom lip, then pulled away when he realised what he was doing. to his slight surprise, she didn’t.

“do you.. want this..?” he whispered. 

“only if you do.” she whispered back. james took her hand, leading her down the hall, turning into a hidden corner, then opening a door lily didn’t know existed.

as soon as they both entered, he pushed lily against a wall, kissing her with more fire and passion then last time, biting her lower lip.

she obliged, opening her mouth and letting him slip his tongue in, exploring every sweet crevice. he pulled back once more.

“you’re sure you want this? very sure, that you want what i’m doing to you?” he spoke again, searching her face for any uncertainty. he loved lily, but he wasn’t a monster to do what she didn’t want.

“yes, james. i want this.” she spoke firmly, looking right into his eye. he nodded, lips now attaching to hers neck, kissing it softly. he wanted to savour every part of her.

when he felt her hands pulling at his shirt, he slipped it over his head, barely taking any time before he nipped at her collarbone, leaving small marks.

before he could get any further, he heard the door of the room of requirement open again, and saw remus and sirius walk in, and he could see the same intent in their eyes that he had when he walked in here himself. their eyes flicked to him, then lily, and sirius smirked.

“oh, so you got your girl, prongs? having fun, i see.” he grinned, leaning against the wall.

“oh, sod off, pads. what are you two doing in here, then?” he retorted, eyes flicking between the two of them. throughout this interaction, lily was glad she was fully clothed. she leaned against the wall, arms crossed infront of her chest as she watched.

but james’ simple question seemed to catch remus and sirius (remus especially, as he had seemed to become a blushing and flustered mess) off guard completely.

remus struggled to piece together an excuse, fumbling and stuttering over his words, that were usual collected and direct.

“oh, i’ll tell you all about it later, prongs. for now, i’ll leave you guys two it. you enjoy.” he scoffed, waltzing out, a very embarrassed remus lupin trailing behind him.

“well, darling.” he grinned, turning back to face the red head. “shall we continue what we started?”

Ok. I'm going to just get this out of the way at the beginning.

I HATE THIS CHARACTER

And not in a "aaa this villain makes me so mad bc they're evil" no I mean I hate the way her character is developed and justified.

IF YOU DISAGREE PLEASE DO EXPLAIN I WOULD QUITE GENUINLY LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT IT!!!

So I am still working my way through a lot of different tmnt series (currently alternating between 2012 and 2003), so I don't have a lot of experience with the usual Bishop character. Based on the little I know about him (mostly from fanfiction), my general impression was that he was this bigoted white guy who was like. A mutant nazi or something. He hates mutants because they are different, they are "flawed", and therefore they are a threat. I figured he was just a hateful asshole, and hadn't thought about it more then that.

But for this, they decided to go in a different direction. The ✨tragic backstory✨ direction. Which is a pretty good direction! IF you do it right. Which, in my humble opinion, THEY ABSOLUTELY DID NOT!!!!

Ok let's get some actual points here!

When we get Josefina Bishop's backstory, she starts as this passionate, nice character who is eager to achieve her robot building dreams. Nothing about her is mean or hating or anything of the sort. She is exasperated by Rod, but doesn't say anything incredibly bitter to him, she's just frustrated being forced to work with this rich guys man child. Which yeah! Thats fair! She has a sister who died and who is the inspiration of her work. Awesome!

And then her workshop is destroyed.

Let me just add. She is being funded by a millionaire. She probably has insurance! Her sister is in no way harmed by these events. And yet her response to property damage is DOMESTIC FUCKING TERRORISM.

She immediately gets bitter and revenge-filled, deciding that she should exterminate ALL THE MUTANTS!!!

You know, the mutants that were helping fight Superfly? The enemies of the one who destroyed her work? THEYRE LITERALLY ON HER SIDE???

And not only does this hatred of Superfly extend to the turtles.

SHE ALMOST KILLS A SUBWAY TRAIN FULL OF PEOPLE!!!

Because, of course "iTs A sMaLL pRicE tO PaYyYyyy"

Bestie. Honey. Girlfriend.

Its just. Weird to me? It doesn't seem very thought out. I would have loved a kind of change up from the usual Bishop themes, but just because its different and new isn't an excuse for it to suck!

IT TOTALLY COULD HAVE WORKED AND HERE IS HOW.

Nickelodeon needs to stop being a bitch and kill off her sister during the Superfly conflict.

Its very clearly what they WANTED to do. Its like the original concept was that her sister died, but that was considered too violent, so they took that out, but then didn't replace it with something else. And they tried so hard to be like "ohhh its about my sisterrrr" GIRL WHAT THIS IS ABOUT SUPERFLY DESTROYING YOUR SHIT AND YOU BEING BUTT HURT ABOUT IT.

And another thing! For a character to turn evil, they have to SNAP! And a character can't snap unless they are already under enough pressure to make that a threat.

Make her be cruel to Rod. Have her be control freak who has to have all the variables perfectly in place. Bitter about the sponsors that doubted and rejected her. Make her already angry at the world, have the only thing that matters to her be her robots and her sister, the two things that were always at her side. And then one day Superfly kills her sister and destroys her lifes work. Yes, she can rebuild the robots. Not the sister though, and making them without her is such an empty and performative motion.

Mutants have gotten people killed. They're too dangerous, its too much of a risk.

This mindset would make so much more sense if they just HAD SUPERFLY KILL HER SISTER LIKE OMG.

Also she had several direct conversations with the turtles, so she was well aware they were intelligent beings.

ALSO! She didn't target the mutants who used to work with Superfly. That would TOTALLY make sense even without the sister thing!

But no. She had to kill the TURTLES. The ones who are widely acknowledged and widely known to be the ones to stop Superfly and save NYC and the world.

But you know what? Maybe i could let that go. Its a kids show, right? And I did like her recovery arc at the end.

Until they. You know. COMPLETELY UN DID ALL OF THAT!!!!

I thought that maybe Bishop will be like. Idk a spy for the mutants or something, like a double agent, but tbh based on the previous writing of her character, I wouldn't put it past the writers to just. Have her do a complete 180. I'm just mad she's going to be a reoccurring character.

Anyway. I kinda hate to dump on this show so much bc I love (most) everything else about it. Bishop was the lowest point to me by far.

Im utterly confused by what you take from each episode. What You analyze and what you don't. Even more so how you think this obvious trick 'ending' Is good at all for the story theyre telling.

Because It feels as though you deeply misunderstand What ii is going for. What its supposed to be. Especially since you called the Relationships petty and useless? Or how you call s3 unimportant (I dont prefer s3 at all, i dislike it in fact. im a huge s1 fan. But to call it uninteresting Is confusing Now that we know what we know.)

So Im curious, What Do You think ii IS about. Why you think adam and justin and brian spent 13 years on this passion project. Because if it was for money, like you've said, why not animate for a Youtube Content farm. Why bother working on this and keeping a plot twist hidden since 2013. Why Would you go into the animation industry specifically siting II as inspiriation for it.

Not what YOU think ii should be about. You've talked about that plenty of times. What IS ii about. What Is the story trying to tell. What is the common Story beats between every single ii contestant, Civilian, and Host.

I Have Been Watching the Show For 8 Years and In That Time Have Picked Up a Lot of Personal and Fandom Related Baggage So I Have a Hard Time Looking at a Character Like Fan Without 8 Years of Feelings Towards Him. Also @ Your S3 Point, I've Actually Been Rewatching Recently to Properly Contextualize It in the Story as Well as View It as a Finished Product. I'm Only 3 Episodes Into That So I Can't Say Much on That Front Currently Other Than a Lot of My Older Opinions on It are Outdated and Also Made When I Was Very Very Angry Haha!

Finally on the General Disclaimers Thing, My Taste in Media is Really Weird in Part Because Inanimate Insanity. I Was Into ii From 13-15 and Then 17-Now. When I Got Back Into it at 17 I Made the Decision to Start Watching Movies and Reading More Books Because I Didn't Want to Limit Myself to ii and Stagnate in My Tastes. This Resulted in Me Seeing a Lot of Things Professionally Known as "Huge Fucking Bummers" and Generally Preferring Bittersweet or Unhappy Endings.

I Like the Fake Ending Because That's What I Typically Enjoy Across the Board. ii Having an Everyone Dies and Mephone Loses Everything End is What Appeals to Me and My Own Interpretation of the Series So I'm Happy. It Might Be Vapid and Emotionally Base But ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I Think I'm Allowed As Much.

Existing in a Place Like ii is Damaging for Yourself and Others and Takes a Toll on Your Interpersonal Relationships

An Allegory for Being an Artist in General

There's a Few Others Floating Around Like "Forgiveness" and "What's Real on ii?" But These are the Two I Think are the Most Present and Effect Everything, and I Vastly Prefer the First Over the Second. I Think The First Encourages Interesting Character Dynamics and is At Play With Several of My Favorite Characters (Suitcase, Cabby, Apple, Marshmallow, Paintbrush). The Artist Thing Was Always There But I Just Never Really Cared for How They Executed It.

I Get What the Story Is Going For and Can Probably Atleast Make a Ballpark Swing at It's Ending. Its Steven Universe/Pixar Influences are Worn On Its Sleeve and I Get the Point I Do I Do I Do I Promise But I Just Don't Care for That Sort of Thing Anyways. Is That Unfair Towards ii? Yeah.

On Why I Think ABJ Made This? I Can't Say. I Try to Avoid Speculating on Them or Their Intentions Anymore Because I Think the OSC Treats the 3 of Them Very Strangely and I Don't Want to Be Involved With That. Finally, You Asked Why I Cite ii as an Artistic Inspiration Despite How Much I Dislike It. This is Funny Timing Actually, It's My Senior Year in College And We Had to Do an Assignment Breaking Down Why We Animate At All and I Did Talk About Inanimate Insanity for Mine (For 20 Minutes Too). It's a Show That Means a Lot to Me Because It Has Had an Immense Influence on the Direction My Life Has Taken. Hey, Leo! Hope you're doing alright. I was reading through the blog in chronological order because I wanted to see how much the characters have changed over the course of Triaina's development, and I realized that your answers to some of the old questions have probably changed, too! So, I wanted to bring up the old "what habits do the TA RO's have?" ask and ask you about if they've developed new habits or if their old habits are still accurate.

It's been a while since the start of the blog, and the characters have gone through plenty of evolutions and revisions as I solidified them into my writing. I don't remember the specifics of what exactly my old answers were for that ask, but I'm sure there's probably some things I say that may be the same, while others could be completely different nowadays haha.

Let's see...

E: They have a habit of eating when they're stressed and are fairly particular to certain candies. Their hyperactive lifestyle paired with an extreme metabolism gives them something of a second stomach despite their small stature, so they can end up eating quite a bit more than you'd think. They also have a habit of sticking to an early rising schedule, often being the first one up and about even though classes are hours from starting.

R: They have a habit of getting lost in their own thoughts, and there are often times where they will grow silent and despondent for a second while they think. Unfortunately, it is rare for them to expand on what their thoughts actually were. They also have a small quirk of looking at the ground when they're bored, and collecting rocks they think can be carved.

L: They often lose themselves in rambling when they talk about a topic of interest. Although the servants of their estate in Hospur wouldn't dare to stop them when they'd go on one of these long-winded speeches, they quickly came to realize not everyone held the same passion for discussion, and have attempted to moderate themselves if they find themselves leading a conversation for too long. They also have a habit of reading out loud and performing the motions of the book they're currently reading, an outcome of being isolated in their estate for as long as they have.

V: They make a steadfast habit of cleaning and maintaining their weapon and other equipment. Theyre very methodical in their cleaning process and always do it the exact same way every time, even down to where they place the parts on the table. They also have a habit of sleeping anywhere but on the bed provided by the academy.

P: They clearly have a cussing habit, but besides that they make a habit of doing constant physical conditioning. They also have a habit of tunnel visioning, and focusing very narrowly on one thing at a time when they get emotional.

M: Sleeping.

S: They have a habit of doing everything as fast as possible, even at the risk of horrid catastrophy. Whether it's because they have a short attention span, they're used to racing, or they simply can't be assed, no one knows. They also habitually break personal barriers, a general result of the tight-knit communal lifestyle they're used to in Orden.

F: Despite their high stature, they have a habit of tailoring and fixing their own clothing rather than sending it in for someone else to do. They also make a habit of tending the small garden they've collected in their room, and may even dismiss certain meetings and events to make time for that task.

* i see them az stabilizing forcez to each other , when baljeet iz freaking the hell out about smth phineas can help him look on the brighter side n realize itz not that big of a deal , or assure him thingz will work out . when phineas iz bouncing off the wallz and not thinking very far ahead baljeet can bring him back down to earth and challenge hiz leadership in a way the otherz dont often do , or correct hiz mistakez if need be

* and becauze of the way phin needz jeet to check over hiz math , and the way he misspellz time machine az tie machine in “its about time” , i like to hc phineas like . iznt necessarily Bad at spelling or typing , but iz very prone to making obvious mistakez in hiz haste , so itz great that he haz a nerd friend whoz happy to review hiz work n catch thoze for him YAY

* how i see their relationship developing iz later in their teenz they get together thinking itz romantic , baljeet finally feelz “fixed” and phineas feelz like he finally Getz It , but the way the ppl around them perceive their relationship , the way they themselvez only want it to be like “super close friends who kiss sometimes” , and the expectationz that are put on them to do/be More etc , make them question whether their feelingz are genuine . then somwhere down the line they (separately) realize theyre aro and that their feelingz for each other are actually queerplatonic and kind of both loze their mindz over it (im projecting my own aro experience here , when i first realized i waz aro i had a sorta-gf n i waz terrified that i wouldnt be able to lov her the “right” way or that i waz leading her on , so thatz also what i imagine going through their headz) . till they try to confess this to each other n realize there waz nothing to worry about cuz they were actually already on the same page n then theyre happy silly qppz forever the end
