Have We Mentioned That There Is A Father/Daughter Grindcore Band That Is Better Than Your Band?

If we're suckers for one thing, it's adorable little girls who like punk rock. Earlier this week, we stumbled upon this one absolutely LOVING Bad Brains. And today, we're hearing that Indiana-based father-daughter grindcore band, Sockweb, have signed to Monolithic Records to release their debut album, Werewolf. So...that's a real thing.

7-year-old singer Joanie's vocals are pretty badass. [And if you're reading this, Joanie, sorry about the bad words! We meant to say...badbutt.] We're pretty sure we can make out lyrics that say, "OK, I will listen to my daddy"  and "You stink, you smell like dog poop."  These are actually a step above Anal Cunt lyrics. [Again, Joanie, if you're reading we meant to say...um, Butt Va--you know what, why don't you just go to bed, it's past your bed time.]

A mean daughter and father grindcore duo fronted by seven year old Joanie "Bologna" Young. She writes all the lyrics, names the songs and named the band. Adam couldn't be a prouder parent. Their debut is out on Monolithic Records and includes guest spots from the likes of Agoraphobic Nosebleed frontwoman Katherine Katz, and was mastered by Pig Destroyer's Scott Hull. if you're not backing sockweb's debut album then i'm going to just assume that the reason is that you didn't know about it

it's a grindcore album performed by a father and written/sung by his seven-year-old daughter about a werewolf that hangs out with a little girl after being caught hiding under her bed how can you not like that

plus the lead single for the album has a music video that's performed with puppets

why aren't you throwing your money at this yet
