Start at the Beginning

Claire waited until the cashier was distracted by a customer before she started to stuff bags of chips into her backpack. She looked around, trying to make sure she didn't get caught. The only thing she never learned about being a hunter was how damn hard it was to make sure she could eat and have a place to sleep. It basically had forced her to become a thieving homeless person. Which, at this point, she was okay with. She figured that all the good she did had to cancel out most of the bad. Walking over to the drink cooler, she glanced back at the cashier before she started to throw a couple of sodas in as well. She had enough to get her through the next couple of days at least. They wouldn't be the healthiest meals but at least she'd be eating.

Surely enough, a head with tousled black hair poked its way up from a hole between the sheets. “Hi.” Ben said, his mouth doing that shy kind of smile that girls just loved. That and the glasses that were currently slipping down the bridge of his nose added up to be quite an adorable picture indeed. “I did. It’s mine. I’m not like, five, I promise.”

Claire raised an eyebrow before bending down to talk to him face to face. "Hey." She used her finger to slip his glasses back up and smiled. "Let me guess. While I was gone, you got bored?" She laughed a little at the comment. "No, you're not five. It's been a while since I've seen one of these. Are girls allowed?"

Ben wonders if Claire has noticed that their spare sheets are missing. And their spare pillows. And anything else very soft and comfy. Ben wonders if Claire is going to notice his blanket fort when she comes back from researching. Ben wonders (and maybe hopes) that Claire will join him in said blanket fort (because she is the only girl allowed, after all.)

Claire came back from doing research for a hunt. She noticed that some of the pillows were missing from the couch but didn't think anything of it. Not until she went into the bedroom and noticed the sheets missing. "Jesse! Ben!" She stepped back out and walked down the hallway to the spare room. Seeing the blanket fort, she smiled a little. "Hmm, I wonder who made this?"
