The raccoons are fed and I even groomed them. They all needed a good brushing. My gloves are covered in raccoon fur, so I’m afraid you’ll have to deal with the sight of my bare hands.

[His hands are pale, quite small and covered in faded scars. Spy’s nails are perfectly manicured.]

I made you tea and broth. You need to keep your fluids up. Can you sit up, mon amour?

Oh, your poor helmet. Here, let’s get that off. Oh, it’s covered in stickers. Silly Soldier.

[Spy’s already taken the liberty of turning the lights off. There’s only faintly glowing Christmas lights strung up, that provide a faint light.]

Merde. I’ll get your helmet cleaned up, my sweet Soldier.

[He kisses his forehead.]

Rest. Drink your tea and broth, alright? I’ll bring you something sweet in a bit.

[The blonde raccoon kit is in Spy’s arms. He seems to be bottle feeding the small thing. He’s humming a slight lullaby.]

Don’t worry. I’ll feed him for the moment.

America is safe, Soldier. I checked before I came here.

"Hii Mour. You didn't need to do all that for me..." Soldier is talking more slowly than usual. He's still tired, but he's always happy to see Spy. He sits up to drink the broth and allows Spy to take his helmet.

"I love you. Are you safe? And- my friends? My team? ...Sorry. I've been- worrying about them. Uh, especially you. I don't doubt you! I know how strong you are, and-and you're fully capable, and- you look really pretty with those lights behind you..." He's rambling again.

"Oh, the raccoons- the others should've been fed. I think. Did I? ...Uh- Is he taking the bottle okay? ...You're really good at that. You're good at everything. I love you."

If you don't mind, might I ask if you have any headcanons for SoldierSpy?

Hello anon! Sans must have sent you, yes? I invited @baguettefeels to help me out with this one because they love them some SollySpy. We had a lot of fun doing this.

Spy always wants to sleep in and Soldier yells at him that he’s lazy, but on special days or if Spy’s not feeling well Solly makes him breakfast in bed. Which is really just canned hash.

The only thing Soldier really knows how to make is meat. He knows how to grill like every Male American™ should. 

Spy reluctantly eats either canned rations or pure steak when he’s ill. At least soup comes in cans.

Soldier sometimes tries to impress Spy at times but speaking French (horrible grammar and pronunciation) or tries to take him out to a fancy meal but ends up choking the waiter or cook.

Solly call’s Spy’s cigarettes “sissy sticks” and tells him to smoke cigars like a real man. Of course Spy is more than happy to enjoy a good Cuban from time to time. Spy doesn’t bother to tell Solly they’re not American.

They argue a lot. Sometimes just little things lead into an argument over a misunderstanding but in the end it’s just shrugged of. A kiss to the cheek helps.

Solly forgets arguments quickly and it actually helps Spy be less petty because there’s no point holding a grudge against a guy like Solly.

If Solly is being a grump an expertly delivered backrub is sure to snap him out of it. Sex works too.

Surprisingly they both don’t mind switching in bed, though in the beginning Soldier thought he was the “man” in the relationship.

Spy finds Solly’s body intoxicating, Solly likes Spy’s ass.

When Solly tops they go fast and hard, when Spy tops he takes his time and drives Solly insane before finally letting him come.

Their first few times were more than a little awkward. Spy had to teach Solly everything, including the importance of lube. (Solly still forgets the lube, Spy has to keep it handy for them).

After the war they’re together but they bicker more often then usual. Solly is restless and wants to fight, Spy wants to enjoy their suburban life style.

Solly is a grouchy old guy. He wisens up a bit and sees theres more to life than just fighting cause he’s got that charming Spy that for some reason stuck with him even after the war.

In addition to the three raccoons Spy let him keep, Solly has a bad habit of bringing home other wild animals. They never stick around, much to Spy’s relief.

Solly has also brought home two dogs and a kitten. Spy hates the dogs and spoils the cat. It is fat and kind of an asshole, and also pretty stupid. It’s Spy’s baby though.

They’re a very physical couple, not just in a sexual way. They like to lay on each other and hold each other watching TV. When they sit together Spy will move his leg sideways off to rest against Solly’s. It makes them feel safer.

Spy truly feels safe with Solly, not only because of his strength but because he knows the man would never betray him. It’s been a long time since Spy felt safe.

Soldier has trouble remembering a lot of his life before the war, and his memories of what happened in WWII are completely warped. He has nightmares sometimes and Spy holds him and calms him down.

Soldier is less confused and feels more grounded. Spy is less irritable and has learned to let more things go.

The two started out acting on pure lust and release in the middle of a crappy situation and it turned into a surprisingly sweet, if unconventional, lasting relationship.
