#mgs #metal gear solid #mgsv #mgs5 #mgsvtpp #I’ve let the brainrot simmer for a couple of days and dare I say I think I love this game #I mean there are things I hated but overall an absolute banger #I’ll definitely be replaying it #one thing I think the game would’ve benefitted from is taking more time for the ending #it was too abrupt #the additional higher difficulty missions could’ve been a mode #and those episodes could’ve been used to pace the ending #I also hesitate to recommend the game cuz it really benefits from the context of previous games #and that’s a lot of game #mgs5 also covers some very heavy topics #that hit very close to reality #I might have gotten more squeamish with time but some of those things were very difficult to process #one thing I think mgs does very well is it never settles for one side or one person being the absolute hero #in this plot they may be a relatively good person #but in the next they’re the villain #but it’s never static #and it u can’t get cozy with tropes #it’s not even grey morality it’s just human nature

everything about the wasps in bug fables is horrific if you think about it for more than a second. I mean there were probably dozens if not more wasp fatalities from the wasp king treating them so horribly but. those wasp’s loved ones might not even be able to tell or care until they weren’t under the crown’s control. am I making sense probably not but hear me OUT imagine you’re just a lil wasp fella and one day you just kinda start losing control of your thoughts and feelings, maybe you don’t have any idea of what happened during that time, and then all of a sudden you snap out of it and next thing you know everyone is Fucking Dead

so I finished side order recently

#splatoon #pearl houzuki #agent 8 #marina ida #acht mizuta #my stuff #inktober piece 2 :)#shoutout to my brother who reminded me i could replay the credits whenever because i had to get some extra refs for eight's model #and saved me from having to slog up the tower again #now if only splatoon could do that for every cutscene eh. please #i want to relive a lot of cutscenes and youre killing me for it splatoon #anyway did you know splatoon's official art has. well it wildly varies from piece to piece #they all follow like a very loose guidelines but also they all split off into their own things half the time #me with seven tabs of art trying to figure out if i want to do lines to separate pearl's fingers: so this one has lines but this one doesnt #'this one isnt relevant to this issue all fingers are splayed'#so in the end i just did whatever i wanted. i think that's a core tenet of art. do whatever you want. forever #also spent an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out what was etched into marina's headphones #im 98% sure it is the off the hook logo. but nothing save from booting up splatoon and checking myself would say for sure #and i didnt wanna boot up splatoon cause if i did then id inevitably be down a couple hours because 'oh well im here already. one run maybe'#but regardless!! im proud of how this came out even if i was supposed to have finished two days ago to keep with my schedule #especially the bg :) i think i did really good on that.#and eight's little smile i think thats the charm point of the whole piece and it took me about ten drafts to get it properly #i think i did good on that too.#im so enamored with splatoon rn help

I have a particular type of issue when writing fic that I have a very hard time directly contradicting canon without an explanation and the consequence of that is that I'm like "I know Vader snapped Fox's neck in that one comic but it is technically possible to both survive a broken neck and survive a broken neck without paralysis though it will likely never give you full range of motion again." And thus the utterly absurd detail of my Fox lives headcanon is that Fox lives but also has Batman neck for the rest of his life.

#me writing a potentially angsty scene with Fox post o66 while a portion of my mind is just replaying a video #of someone complaining about sleeping funny and getting batman neck on loop #which gives a certain mood to the writing process I gotta say #anyway #tcw #commander Fox #listen its still not a perfect explanation but it does give me some level of delight #between this and the Hurdy Gurdy fic I wrote back in the day I truly just give my silliest crack aus and headcanons to the angstiest soldier

every week i play ostagar again with a new warden and he has to go through that again because he’s also there. sort of a time loop situation . sad really

#more of a real talk response: i know i dont rlly post a lot of my Classic Ocs these days #its always some new freak and im sure you guys cant keep up #but ive changed a lot as like a creative person & a person generally over the last nearly 3 years since i started playing #and if i were to bring those ocs back to replay and post about regularly #they need hard updates and like overhauls #which is kind of difficult to pull off when i have my little audience here who are familiar with them #so im not really sure how to approach that #so a lot of my older ocs i still love em and i’ll still bring them up and love that you guys care to bring them up et cetera #but in terms of serious development or any attempt at replays or creative output or meta or whatever #they might be on the shelf a bit while i figure out what to do #im hoping soon to stick with a new character long enough to be able to thoroughly discuss them on here #because i miss that energy of sort of keir’s era it was a lot but it was fun too it would be nice to have that much chatter again #and to stop continually baffling you all with new ocs as im sure i do daily.#so that is my serious answer to your joke question JGSJSJSKS #watch me take all this back and replay him. who knows. could happen. livin dangerously
