More and more victories, some failures with weight painting, but aside from that this is fun. Every little thing I learn becomes a tool in my arsenal and the range of possibilities keeps expanding. TTV_LoneWolf is still very impressive and well ahead of me, or whatever I'm going to do since I don't plan to make vore avatars at least now with that level of detail, nor do I have an overwhelming variety of sona I want to create. Just my one. But building an avatar past the recognition of it's original base was a bridge I hadn't crossed yet when ttv dropped in and showed off his khnfucat and all the work he's done on his custom avatar that is not even a base you can buy. I was jealous, I was humbled, I was proud of everything I'd done so far and got a glimpse of how far the road is ahead, and now I'm walking it and I've gotten all these compliments. Mostly turning the kepler into a borderline mayu, but it's a very good start. Making my own low poly version a very good skill to have if I make a base.

I'm getting there. I'm climbing. Besides modeling/rigging which will take the most time learning, every other little thing, even UVs now, is completely accessible to me. Shadetail used to say how everyone needs a dream to live. That it is a requirement even if it's not one you will achieve. But my goal marker is right there in front of me. And it's only a few paces away. I'm no longer just a small time retexture artist who knows enough to play around with poiyomi, and do one off stunts like the trenchcoat for the mayu. I've even gone beyond some of the things mana keeps asking me to do. Slowly everything is becoming doable.
