Reverse Blossom (Yandere Batfam x Neglected! Poison Ivy‘s Daughter! Reader)
Chapter 4
A/N: i‘m back from my trip!! And seeing elephants for the first time was amazing!! Also I want to thank all of you guys for your love and support 🩷. I will answer all of you now. By the way my inbox is open for asks, request, anything!! I have the next 4 chapters of blossom reverse already prepared just need to edit them:) also if you want to be on he taglist the post is here.
I decided to give Y/N green eyes since she is the daughter of Poison Ivy, but if that bothers you try to imagine them as a different eye color. In a few chapter she will be wearing contact lenses.
He remembered the first time he met her.
It had been late. The manor was quiet. Bruce and Alfred had just returned from Gotham’s south ward, where Pamela Isley had finally been subdued—again. But this time, she’d left something behind.
Or rather, someone.
A toddler. Two years old. Big green doe eyes. Wrapped in a pale green cardigan and a layer of silence.
She stood behind Alfred’s leg, clinging to the fabric with both hands. Dirt smudged her face. Vines clung to her shoes like they didn’t want to let go.
He hadn’t known what to say at first.
But then she looked up at him—eyes wide, curious, cautious. He felt his heart soar.
He crouched.
Soft smile. Gentle voice.
“Hey there, Little Flower.”
She blinked, then giggled.
That was it. That was her name. “My Little Flower.”
The one who would follow him for years to come.
⸻
A few weeks after that, everything changed.
Bruce got stricter. Patrols got longer. Dick’s time at the manor became fragmented. Split between being Robin and trying to figure out who he was outside of the mask.
And somewhere in the middle of that chaos, she kept growing.
She started knocking on his door with drawings.
“Dicky, do you wanna see what I made?”
“Can you help me with this book? It’s about flowers and I thought you’d like it.”
“Do you have time for me today?”
And every time, it was—
“Not now.”
“Maybe next time.”
“Sorry, kiddo. Busy.”
Always busy. Always trying to protect Gotham.
Trying to live up to Bruce.
Trying to survive the weight of the Bat.
And then Jason died.
And the manor stopped feeling like a home.
Dick left. Blüdhaven became his distraction. His escape.
He told himself he was doing it for his own mental health. That Bruce was spiraling and Gotham was suffocating and—
And she was fine.
Alfred was there. Bruce would keep her safe.
He had no idea she’d wait for him to come back everyday.
No idea she started leaving her drawings at his door instead of knocking.
(Y/N)
She’d stopped knocking after the the tenth “maybe next time.”
She’d stopped drawing for him after the 20th.
She told herself it was okay.
Dick was busy. He was Robin. He had villains to fight. Gotham to protect.
She was just the quiet girl in the hallway with too many flowers in her hands.
If he wanted to spend time with her—he would.
That’s what she believed.
Until Tim came.
And Dick was there. Teaching him, praising him, sparring with him in the cave while she sat on the stairs with a book in her lap and a smile she kept forcing to stay in place.
Until Damian came.
And suddenly Dick was everywhere.
Taking him to movies.
Letting him win at arcade games.
Buying him snacks.
Sparring, laughing, teaching.
She’d ask:
“Can I come too?”
“Maybe next time.”
“I promise, sweetheart.”
But there was never a next time.
One night, she and Damian fought. Badly.
She didn’t want to remember what he said. Or how he made her cry.
But what hurt more was when Dick had found them—
And scolded her.
“What did you do to set him off, Little Flower?”
“He’s still adjusting. Try to be patient.”
She had just stood there.
Her hands were scratched. Her lip was bleeding.
Damian hadn’t even apologized.
And Dick hadn’t asked what happened. Didn’t care if she was fine. No one had.
He just assumed.
Because she was always the easy one. The quiet one.
The one who could be told “next time.”
(Dick)
He remembered now.
Her outside the cave door. Watching while he trained Damian.
Sitting crisscross on the hallway floor, pretending to read while her eyes never left him.
Waving at him from the garden window when he pulled out of the driveway.
He remembered saying “I’ll make it up to you.”
And then never did.
Maybe he hadn’t ignored her out of malice.
Maybe it was fear.
She was soft.
Delicate.
Too sweet for the blood-soaked world they all lived in.
He told himself he was protecting her by keeping her out of it.
But now…
Now she was disappearing before his eyes.
He stood alone in her room a while longer.
Just breathing.
The air smelled faintly like soil and old petals. The kind of smell that came from a garden that hadn’t been touched in too long.
He looked at the empty desk.
The clean corners.
The lifeless gray sheets.
His hands curled into fists—then relaxed.
“She’s still the same girl,” he told himself.
Just quieter. Just older. Just waiting for him to show up again.
He could make this right.
He just had to be present now.
He’d take her out this weekend.
To the movies. Or the bookstore—she used to love stories about mythical plants.
He could show her around Blüdhaven, take her for ice cream, walk her through the park.
Anything she wanted.
He’d ask what music she listened to now.
What books she liked.
If she still knew how to braid flower crowns.
He’d be a good brother this time.
The good brother.
Because she was still his Little Flower.
And she hadn’t wilted.
Not really.
Not yet.
He just had to reach her in time.
_____
The cafeteria buzzed with laughter and noise, trays clattering and chairs scraping against tile. Y/N walked in with a calmness that looked effortless—but only because she’d mastered it.
Her hair was pinned back neatly today. A soft cardigan over her uniform hugged her shoulders. Her smile was sweet, polite. The kind that melted teachers and made her friends giggle and call her “an angel.”
It wasn’t real.
But no one here needed to know that.
⸻
She spotted Damian at his usual table across the courtyard—half-shaded, slightly elevated, surrounded by boys who wore smugness like an accessory.
She hadn’t approached him in almost a month.
Not since she came back.
And even now, it twisted something sharp in her chest.
But she needed a cover.
She needed someone to relay the lie.
⸻
“Wayne,” one of his classmates grinned, nudging Damian with a cocky elbow. “Look who it is. Thought your baby sister forgot we existed.”
Damian looked up lazily, already annoyed—until his eyes landed on her.
For half a second, his face flickered.
Surprise.
Then nothing.
Just that familiar sneer curling on his lips.
She stood in front of the table with her hands folded in front of her skirt, like a model student waiting to speak.
Her smile was gentle. Practiced.
Too practiced.
“Hi, Damian,” she said softly. “Can I ask you something?”
He didn’t answer at first.
His eyes ran over her.
Slow. Quiet. Calculating.
Her tone was too even.
Her smile too polite.
She wasn’t trying to sit. Wasn’t looking at him with adoration like she used to.
He didn’t like it.
She cleared her throat lightly, still smiling.
“I have an after-school activity today. For a group project. I’ll be back by seven or eight, but I’m going with a few friends, so I don’t need Alfred to pick me up.”
Damian’s expression didn’t change.
“That’s it?” he said finally, voice flat.
“Mm-hm.” She nodded sweetly. “Just let Alfred know for me, please?”
There was a pause.
“You’re lying.”
The words were quiet. Not loud enough for the others to hear. Just for her.
Her smile didn’t waver. Although her heart stopped. She has always been a bad liar and Damian had always been too clever.
“Please,” she repeated. “Tell him?”
He stared at her.
She stared back.
And that was when it really hit him.
She wasn’t asking like she used to.
Not with hope. Not with that little-girl eagerness she used to wrap around him like a ribbon.
She was just… managing him.
Like one more problem to solve.
His jaw clenched.
"Fine,” he muttered. “Whatever. I’ll tell him.”
She beamed—too perfect—and turned without another word.
He watched her walk away.
She didn’t look back. Didn’t smile or thank him. Didn’t hesitate.
Just floated back to her group like she had never been at his table at all.
His classmates cracked a few jokes, tossed around stupid theories—“You think she’s got a secret boyfriend?” “Maybe she finally got tired of the prince of darkness”—but Damian barely heard them.
His eyes didn’t leave her.
Not for a second.
She was hiding something.
He didn’t know what.
But it unsettled him more than he wanted to admit.
There had always been a softness about her that grated on him.
But now that it was gone?
He found himself trying to figure out where it had gone.
And who had taken it.
She left the building last.
Her friends waved at her from the school gates, their usual chorus of laughter and affection echoing behind her.
“See you tomorrow, babe!”
“Text me the homework!”
“Don’t forget your scarf!”
Y/N smiled, waved, nodded.
Every move was practiced.
Perfect.
Painless.
She slipped the scarf higher up her neck once she turned the corner, tucking her hair into the collar and pulling the fabric loosely over her head like a hood. She walked fast. Quiet. Unseen.
By the time she reached the end of the block, her expression was gone.
Fear. Nervousness.
The bus ride took fifty-seven minutes.
She sat near the back, eyes low, hands folded around the burner phone she had bought with the cash Alfred had given her for food to buy for herself on her birthdays. She never did buy herself food.
The phone’s battery died somewhere around Midtown, but she knew the route by heart already.
She watched the buildings change.
From clean stone and glass to chipped bricks and graffiti-covered fences.
The bus hissed to a stop at the corner of 57th and Arlen.
She got off.
The sidewalk was cracked. A neon sign flickered overhead in a language she didn’t recognize. A man stood outside a liquor store with three missing teeth and a cigarette barely lit.
She kept walking.
The address was scrawled on the inside of her wrist in faded pen.
The building was narrow. Old. Smelled faintly of mildew and paint thinner. But it had three locks on every door and no visible mold, so that already made it better than some others she’d seen online.
She rang the buzzer.
A moment later, an older man—mid-sixties, gray hair slicked back, jacket too big—opened the lobby door with a metal key in hand and a clipboard under his arm.
He stared at her.
“You… uh…” His eyes flicked up and down. Surprised. “You’re the one who scheduled the 4:30 appointment?”
“Yes,” she said quickly, adjusting the scarf and deepening her voice just a little. “I’m Emilia—Emilia Forenzi. I am… exchange student. From Italy.”
The man blinked.
Her accent was soft, light, vaguely musical. A touch of Rome, stolen from too many foreign films.
“You’re Italian?” he asked, skeptical.
“Yes.” She nodded. “I study here. I am almost eighteen. I know I look young, but it’s normal. In Italy, we… age well.”
“…Right.”
She smiled, sweet and slightly nervous. “May I see the apartment, please?”
He looked down at the clipboard, then back up. Something in her tone—her posture—seemed to relax him. Soften him.
“Fine. Come in. But I usually don’t deal with minors, alright? No funny business.”
“I understand.”
She followed him up three flights of stairs.
The apartment was small.
One room. Tiny kitchen. Cracked tile in the bathroom. Rust along the radiator. A smell of something faintly sweet and rotten in the walls.
But the window opened.
The lock worked.
The shower had water pressure.
It was… doable.
“Like I said,” the landlord muttered, rubbing the back of his neck as he handed her a small application form, “this neighborhood’s not too bad if you keep your head down. But it’s still Gotham. You get a pretty girl living alone, some eyes are gonna notice.”
She swallowed. “I can handle.”
He looked at her again. “You sure you’re almost eighteen?”
“Yes,” she said immediately.
“You don’t got ID?”
“In Italy,” she lied. “I forgot to renew it before flight.”
“Uh-huh.” He frowned.
Then handed her a pen.
"You’ll need a signature. From a parent or guardian. Permission form, you understand? Legal reasons.”
She froze.
The air felt suddenly too cold.
“…P-permission?” she repeated.
“Yeah.” He gave her a look. “You’re a minor. No signature, no keys. Especially not in a place like this.”
She stared at the form.
Blank lines. Parent signature. Emergency contact.
All the things she didn’t have.
All the things she couldn’t ask for.
Her hands tightened on the pen.
“…I—I will get it,” she said softly.
The man nodded. “Alright. You get that, bring it back here. I’ll hold the place till the end of the week. But no signature? I can’t help you.”
She nodded again.
But her chest was hollow.
The girl smiled at the man and said her goodbyes. Not missing the worried frown he sends her.
As she walked back down the stairs, scarf tight around her throat and hands curled into fists inside her sleeves, she realized her pulse was shaking.
She had no one to sign for her.
She had no one to ask.
____
Damian Wayne | The Manor |
The main hallway was quiet when Damian walked in, dropping his bag onto the bench near the entrance.
The manor always had a certain weight to it after sunset—an old, cavernous silence that clung to the walls like shadows. But today, something felt off.
More than usual.
⸻
He tugged at his uniform blazer, unbuttoned it, and turned the corner—only to pause at the top of the main staircase.
Someone was standing at the bottom.
Dick.
“…What are you doing here?” Damian asked, tone flat.
His brother was leaning on the bannister like he’d been waiting for someone. His hair was slightly messy, still in his travel jacket, eyes distant and too focused for someone just home from Blüdhaven.
Dick looked up, blinking as if only just realizing Damian had spoken.
“…Hey.”
“That didn’t answer my question.”
“I could say the same to you.”
Damian rolled his eyes and descended the stairs. “I live here.”
“Yeah, well… I’m visiting.”
Damian narrowed his eyes. “You never just visit. You’re either gone or calling Alfred at 3 a.m. for muscle cream.”
Dick gave a weak smile but didn’t defend himself.
He was still watching the front doors.
Still waiting.
Damian paused halfway down.
“Who are you waiting for?”
“Y/N.”
Damian blinked. “…Why?”
Dick scratched the back of his neck, his smile faltering. “Just… thought I’d talk to her. Spend some time. I stopped by her room earlier. You know, just… realized I haven’t seen her in a while.”
Damian tilted his head slightly. “She’s not here.”
“I can see that.”
“She said she has a school project. After school thing. With her friends.”
Dick frowned. “That so?”
“That’s what she told me,” Damian said coolly, but something in his voice betrayed the fact that he didn’t fully believe it.
And Dick caught it.
“…You sound like you don’t buy it.”
Damian didn’t answer.
Instead, he walked past him toward the kitchen.
Dick turned, following him with a look.
“She used to come home straight after school, right?” he asked. “She’s not the type to hang around malls or… sneak out.”
Damian stopped. His jaw tensed.
“She doesn’t lie,” he said.
Dick raised an eyebrow. “But she did.”
Damian didn’t respond.
⸻
It was 6:56 now.
Dick checked the clock.
Still no sign of her.
And the longer the minutes ticked by, the more wrong it felt.
He didn’t want to be dramatic. Didn’t want to jump into full protective-mode. But something about it nagged at him.
She always came straight home after school.
She always told Alfred where she was.
And now?
“Maybe we should check in,” Dick said quietly.
Damian’s expression didn’t change.
But his eyes darkened.
_____
Her fingers were stiff by the time she reached the manor gates.
The walk from the bus stop had been longer than she remembered—colder too. The wind had picked up along the hillside, numbing her ears and flushing her cheeks, and even though the streets had mostly emptied by that hour, she had kept her scarf high and her head down.
The apartment application was folded tightly in her backpack, zipped into the inner lining where no one could see. Her heart hadn’t stopped pounding since she’d left the landlord’s office. Even now, it beat against her ribs like it didn’t know she was safe yet.
She gripped her key in cold fingers and slipped it into the lock.
The manor door creaked open.
Warm air met her instantly. Familiar. Scented with faint woodsmoke and something rich from the kitchen. Maybe Alfred had made stew.
She exhaled, stepping in—
And froze.
At the top of the stairs, they were waiting.
Dick and Damian.
Both standing.
Both silent.
Damian leaned slightly on the banister, arms crossed. His expression unreadable, sharp eyes fixed on her like they were dissecting the very air she brought in with her.
Dick stood taller, hands in the pockets of his jacket, brows pulled in a worried line. Not angry. Just… tense. Focused.
Like they were both watching for something.
Her heart jumped.
She hadn’t expected to see him.
Dick.
Not yet.
Not this soon.
In the previous timeline, he hadn’t returned from Blüdhaven for months. By the time he had, she would have already faded into the walls. By then, he didn’t notice her until it was too late.
So when she looked up the stairs and saw him standing there beside Damian—older, taller, all soft concern wrapped in blue and black—her breath caught.
And then—
“My Little Flower.”
Her body jolted. Eyes wide.
That name. That name that hadn’t passed his lips in years.
She flinched before she could stop herself.
Dick’s brow creased. “Hey—what’s wrong?”
She shook her head quickly, lips tugging into a reflexive smile. “Nothing. I just didn’t know you were home.”
“I just got in. Wanted to surprise everyone.” His voice dipped softer. “Especially you.”
That made her stomach twist.
He hadn’t said that in years either. Not even before she died. As a matter of fact, he hadn’t even spoken that softly with her in years.
Dick came down a few steps.
Damian followed silently, slower, more calculated in his movements. His arms weren’t crossed anymore. His hands were at his sides, but stiff—ready.
“Where were you?” Dick asked gently, the kind of warmth that would’ve made her melt when she was younger. Or if she was her true fourteen-year-old self.
She swallowed. “I told Damian earlier—group project. We were at a friend’s house. We lost track of time.”
Damian’s eyes sharpened.
He took another step.
“You don’t do group projects,” he said flatly.
She looked at him.
“I do, actually. For history class. Ms. Varela assigned one yesterday.”
“Who?” Dick asked, tilting his head.
“Uh… Maya,” she said. “Her name’s Maya. She lives near Gotham Heights.”
Damian’s stare was unrelenting.
“You didn’t mention that earlier.”
“I forgot,” she said quickly. “I was rushing.”
“Which Maya?” he asked. “Last name.”
YN hesitated.
Too long.
“Rossi,” she said.
Another lie.
Another crack in the glass.
Dick’s smile was still there, but it looked strained now. Forced. He was trying to believe her. He wanted to. His little flower would never lie to him.
But his eyes flicked to Damian for a second—and that moment said more than anything.
They didn’t believe her.
She felt it like heat crawling up her neck.
“I texted you,” Dick said. “We tried to call.”
“I didn’t see,” she replied, pulling her bag closer. “Phone died on the bus.”
“You took a bus?” Damian asked.
“Yeah. It was fine.”
“That area’s not fine,” he said, voice sharper now. “If you were really near Gotham Heights, you shouldn’t be walking around alone.”
“I wasn’t alone.”
“Then tell me where exactly you were. Street. Building number.”
She hesitated again.
The silence was too long.
“I don’t remember the street,” she said. “We just followed Maya from school.”
Damian stepped closer.
He was still a full step below her on the staircase, but somehow he still felt like he was looking down on her. Maybe due their height difference.
“You’re lying,” he said, quiet, razor-sharp.
Her breath caught.
Dick’s hand rested lightly on her slender shoulder. “Hey, let’s not jump on her. Maybe she’s just tired. It’s been a long day.”
But even his voice had changed now. The warmth was still there—but underneath, there was a thread of doubt. Of tension.
They weren’t backing down.
They were watching.
And she knew—if she gave them one more chance to press harder—
They’d start digging.
She smiled again. Soft. Rehearsed.
“I’ll go change. I still have some homework to finish.”
She stepped past them before they could answer. And neither of them moved.
But their eyes never left her.
She shut the door behind her faster than she meant to.
Click.
Locked.
She didn’t usually lock her door.
But everything was too much.
Her pulse was still high. Her fingers trembled just slightly as she set her bag down and crossed to her desk.
The room smelled like earth and blooming flowers. Familiar. Safe.
But wrong now.
Everything was wrong.
⸻
She plugged in her phone, the screen flickering back to life after a few long seconds.
Six missed calls.
Three messages from Dick:
hey, just checking in ☀️ you good?
miss you, little flower 💙
come talk to me when you’re home? 🍯
Her stomach turned.
He hadn’t texted her in years. Not even once during the worst of it.
He used to leave her on read for days, weeks.
And now—he was texting her with emojis?
He was calling her Little Flower again like it hadn’t been buried years ago with every broken promise.
For a moment—just a moment—her heart ached.
Because maybe… maybe this was what she’d wanted back then.
Just a message. Just a moment of attention.
Just a brother who remembered her.
But it was too late.
And it felt wrong.
She didn’t know what was changing the past.
Or why they were suddenly looking at her again.
But it wasn’t for the right reasons.
It wasn’t love. Not really.
It was something else.
Something colder.
Something that made her skin prickle even when they smiled.
She stared at the screen a few seconds longer, then set it facedown.
Her mind was still spiraling.
What if they started tracking her phone?
What if they were already suspicious?
What if they tried to dig?
She stood and moved to her door.
Unlocked it just enough to open it a crack.
Alfred was walking past with a tray, heading toward the dining room.
“Sweetheart?” he asked, pausing when he saw her. “You’re not coming down?”
She gave him a soft, tired smile.
“I still have to finish that group project,” she said.
Alfred hesitated. His eyes searched her face, gentle and a little too knowing.
“I see,” he said quietly. “Shall I bring your dinner up, then?”
"Please.”
He gave her a little nod.
And left.
⸻
The dining room was set.
Empty seat at the end of the table.
Same as always.
Dick sat quietly across from Damian. Neither of them had touched their food yet.
Their eyes met once.
And something passed between them.
Not words.
Not questions.
Just quiet understanding.
They were both thinking the same thing:
She was hiding something.
And they were going to find out what it was.

actress!reader and “big, bad boyfriend” drew
masterlist | actress!reader masterlist
The leaves had just started to turn, a cool breeze blowing down the streets of Charleston. It wasn’t often the couple had the opportunity to spend a day out together, with everything from hectic schedules to heards of paparazzi, it always seemed like something was in the way. However, on the beautiful autumn day, the two of them decided to take Charleston out on a walk.
“God, I’ve been craving Claire’s.” Y/n sighed, peering up at Drew as they continued along the sidewalk, Charleston trotting excitedly in front of them. Both of them were “undercover”, baseball hats low and sunglasses on, hoping to not draw too much attention.
“We got it, what, four days ago?” Drew teased, holding open the door to the coffee shop. Y/n rolled her eyes with a laugh, stepping into the cafe before Drew followed her.
“Find a seat and I’ll get our order, yeah?” Drew said, pressing a kiss to y/n’s temple before handing off Charleston to her. Y/n wove through the people littered throughout the cafe before finding a table on the patio. She sat down, taking off her sunglasses as Charleston curled up by her feet. The familiar scent of coffee and pastries filled her nose, allowing her to sink further into her chair as she waited for Drew to finish up.
“Is this seat taken?” Y/n glanced up from her phone at the voice. A man with curly, blond hair smiled down at her.
“Oh, yeah my—”
“Aren’t you that actress? From that Netflix show, yeah?” The man interrupted her, pulling out the seat opposite her (Drew’s) before sitting down. Y/n could feel Charleston stirring at her feet as she sat up a little straighter, glancing back towards the cafe.
“Um, yeah.” Y/n chuckled nervously, flashing a practiced, PR smile at him.
“See, I didn’t recognize you ‘cause you usually got like… nothing on, y’know? Bikini and shit.” The guy said, leaning onto the table. She could smell the faint scent of alcohol on his breath as he eyes continued to scan over her in a way that made her want to scream.
“Oh, um, sure.” Y/n said shortly before glancing down at her lap.
“You’ve got, like, a crazy body—”
“Excuse me.” Y/n’s head shot up at the sound of Drew’s voice. He stood at the table, placing y/n’s coffee down in front of her, his gaze locked on the man sitting opposite her.
“Aww, shit man, I wasn’t—”
“Yeah, exactly, ‘you wasn’t’.” Drew said, his jaw clenched. Y/n could count on one hand the number of times she’d seen Drew like this outside of character, a fire in his eye and his fists clenched. She reached out, running her hand along his arm before taking his hand.
“Can I at least get a picture with the lady?” The man slurred, shooting a sly smirk at y/n.
“Get out of here.” Drew said sharply, his tongue prodding at the side of his cheek.
“Drew.” Y/n whispered harshly, tugging on his arm as she glanced around. The patio was filled with people, people who inevitably had phones and cameras and wouldn’t hesitate to post about how “Netflix Star Freaks Out on Fan”.
“Don’t be like that—”
“Get the fuck out of here.” Drew said. The man got up quickly, sending the chair backwards as he stood against Drew, a solid head shorter than him. One look into Drew’s steely gaze, however, and the man scurried away. Y/n let out a sigh of relief, running her hands through her hair.
“Baby, are you alright? I’m sorry, I—” Drew crouched down, grabbing her face in his hands.
“Yes, it’s fine. I’m fine.” Y/n whispered, nodding with a short grin before pressing a kiss to Drew’s cheek. She wasn’t lying. While she had been scared when the man sat opposite her, the second Drew appeared she knew everything would be alright, because, whenever Drew was with her, she would be alright.
“Are you sure? We can go home if you need to.” Drew ran his thumb along her skin softly, his eyes wide with concern.
“I’m fine, I promise. I’ve dealt with my fair share of assholes.” Y/n said again with a sip of her coffee before Drew settled into the seat opposite her. The two of them sat in a comfortable silence for a minute, drinking their coffee and taking bites of the pastry Drew had gotten, just soaking in the beautiful, fall afternoon. She could see the guilt on his face, the thoughts swirling in his mind as they sat.
“Oh, Drewseph, my big, bad boyfriend.” Y/n said, reaching across the table to grab Drew’s hand, hoping to soothe his racing mind. He shook his head, his cheeks blushing underneath his baseball hat.
“I wasn’t expecting to nearly beat the shit out of someone today.” Drew sighed, a grin dancing on his lips.
“I wasn’t expecting to see you nearly beat the shit out of someone ever.” Y/n raised her eyebrows. It was true. Drew, unlike what his six-foot-two, intimidating demeanor might entail, was the biggest sweetheart… it was one of the things she loved so much about him. That scary-boyfriend exterior with that kind, loving interior always made her melt.
“Didn’t think I’d ever do that, but when I saw him it just…” Drew shook his head, taking a sip of his coffee.
“Drew Starkey, I love you.” Y/n said, pressing a kiss to the back of his hand.
“Y/n y/ln, I love you.” Drew said, kissing the back of her hand in return.
“I can’t lie, seeing you that… overprotective—” y/n leaned in, her voice dropping, “---was really, really hot.”
“Really?” Drew whispered, his eyebrow quirking up and smirk widening.
“Oh yeah, super.” Y/n bit her bottom lip before taking a slow sip of her coffee. Drew swallowed harshly, his gaze dropping to where y/n’s lips sucked on the straw before fluttering back to her eyes.
“I think we should go home now.” Drew said quietly.
“And why’s that?” Y/n teased, her cheeks warming under Drew’s sultry eye.
“I think you know why.” Drew grinned, pressing a kiss to her nose before standing up from the table and offering her his hand. She took it gladly, the two of them heading back home, Charleston in tow… maybe walking a little bit faster than they had on their way into town.

Hello :) i Love your story.
I have a request. Lando introduces Maugi to yn Baby as his girlfriend. Things don't go well at first, but later they become best friends.
Stealing her heart

Lando sat on the couch, his fingers drumming anxiously against his knee. Across from him, Magui shifted nervously, her hands clasped together in her lap. They exchanged a look, and Lando offered a small, reassuring smile.
"She'll be home soon," he murmured.
Magui nodded, but her heart pounded. She had been dating Lando for five months now, and they were happy. More than happy. But today was different—today, she was meeting the most important person in his life: his daughter, Yn.
The front door creaked open, and the pitter-patter of small feet echoed through the hallway. "Daddy!" a tiny voice called out, excitement bursting through the house.
Lando stood up, his heart swelling at the sight of his little girl running toward him. "Hey, my love!" He scooped her up effortlessly, pressing a kiss to her chubby cheek.
Yn giggled, her small arms wrapping around his neck. "I missed you!"
"I missed you more, little bean," Lando murmured, squeezing her close.
Only then did she notice the unfamiliar woman sitting on the couch. Yn’s smile faltered, her tiny brows furrowing as she clung tighter to her dad. "Who's that?" she asked, voice laced with curiosity and caution.
Lando swallowed. "Baby, this is Magui. Remember how Daddy told you about my special friend?" He set Yn down, gently tucking a curl behind her ear. "She wanted to meet you. And look! She even brought you a present."
Magui smiled warmly and held out a neatly wrapped box with a ribbon. "Hi, Yn. It’s so nice to finally meet you. I got you something—I hope you like it."
Yn stared at the box but didn’t take it. She looked up at Lando, eyes wide with confusion. "Why?"
Lando hesitated, crouching beside her. "Because she cares about you, love. Magui is really special to me, and I was hoping we could all spend time together, like a little team. Like a family."
The word seemed to make Yn shrink. She shook her head, taking a step back. "No. I don’t want a family. I have you. I don’t need her."
Silence. Magui’s heart twisted, but she kept her smile soft, understanding the little girl’s hesitation. Before either of them could say anything, Yn turned and bolted, her tiny feet thudding down the hallway. A door slammed shut.
Lando sighed, rubbing his hands over his face. "I'm so sorry. I—"
Magui shook her head, placing a gentle hand on his arm. "Don’t apologize, amor. She’s just scared. She’s only ever had you. It makes sense."
"But I don’t want her to be upset." Lando exhaled. "I knew it wouldn’t be easy, but…"
Magui squeezed his hand. "Give her time. I’ll win her over. I promise."
And so, she did.
---
Magui made it her mission to show Yn that she wasn’t trying to take anything away from her, only add to her life.
When they went shopping, Magui let Yn pick out whatever she wanted. "Are you sure I can have both?" Yn asked hesitantly, holding a stuffed bunny in one hand and a sparkly tiara in the other.
Magui grinned. "Of course, princesa. Why choose when you can have both?"
Yn beamed, and for the first time, she took Magui’s hand voluntarily as they walked through the store.
When Magui traveled for work, she always brought back a little gift. "I found this in Paris, and it reminded me of you," she told Yn one evening, handing her a tiny Eiffel Tower keychain.
Yn’s fingers curled around it as she whispered, "Thank you."
During movie nights at Lando’s house, Magui would braid Yn’s hair while they watched Disney movies. "You have such beautiful curls," she’d murmur, gently running her fingers through the soft strands.
Yn would hum contentedly, her head resting against Magui’s arm.
And when Magui started spending the night, she made sure to make breakfast extra special. Pancakes shaped like hearts, fruit arranged in a smiley face, and tiny marshmallows in Yn’s hot chocolate.
Yn giggled, taking a bite of a pancake. "This is so pretty!"
Magui winked. "Only the best for my favorite little princess."
Little by little, the walls Yn had built around her heart began to crumble.
One evening, a storm rolled in. Thunder cracked through the sky, and rain hammered against the windows. In the dim glow of the bedroom, Magui stirred, sensing movement.
A tiny whisper reached her ears. "Daddy? Magui?"
Blinking awake, Magui turned to see Yn standing by the bed, clutching her stuffed bunny. Her bottom lip wobbled.
Lando stirred, still half-asleep, but Magui reacted instantly. She lifted the covers, opening her arms. "Come here, meu amor."
Yn hesitated for only a second before climbing into bed. She nestled into Magui’s warmth, small arms wrapping around her. Magui stroked her hair, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. "You're safe, princesa. I've got you."
Yn snuggled closer, her tiny fingers gripping Magui’s shirt. Then, in the quiet of the storm, she whispered, "Thank you." She hesitated before pressing a soft kiss to Magui’s cheek. "I love you."
Magui’s heart clenched. She swallowed the lump in her throat, holding Yn even tighter. "I love you too, baby girl."
Lando, still half-asleep, reached over, his arm draping around them both. With a sleepy grin, he mumbled, "Told you… you stole her heart."
Magui smiled, her eyes shining in the dark. Maybe she had. But the truth was, Yn had stolen hers first.

Operation Surprise Paige
Pairing: Paige Bueckers x Reader
Summary: It’s Valentine’s Day, but Paige’s busy practice schedule keeps her from spending the day with the reader. Wanting to make the night special despite the circumstances, the reader surprises Paige by setting up a cozy indoor picnic in her dorm,
Word count: 1069
My Masterlist :)
You stared at your phone screen for what felt like the hundredth time that day, rereading Paige’s last text:
PB: I’m so sorry, babe. Practice is running late. I promise I’ll make it up to you.
You sighed, setting your phone down on your lap. It wasn’t like this was a huge surprise—basketball was Paige’s life, and you knew that when you started dating her. But Valentine’s Day was supposed to be special. You had hoped for at least a few uninterrupted hours together, maybe a cute brunch date or a late-night dinner after practice. Instead, Paige was stuck in the gym, and you were sitting in your dorm, alone, wondering if you’d even get to see her before the day ended.
A part of you wanted to wallow in your disappointment, but another part—the one that loved Paige more than anything—refused to let this day be a complete letdown. If Paige couldn’t take you on a Valentine’s Day date, then you’d bring the date to her.
You wasted no time putting your plan into action. First, you grabbed your coat and headed off campus to pick up a few essentials. A quick stop at the store got you everything you needed: a fluffy picnic blanket, a string of warm fairy lights, a few battery-operated candles (because real candles in a dorm were a fire hazard), and, most importantly, all of Paige’s favorite snacks.
Then, you made a second stop at a bakery that you knew Paige loved. They had a special Valentine’s Day section, and you couldn’t resist grabbing a small heart-shaped cake with pink frosting that read, Be Mine? in white icing. It was cheesy, but you knew Paige would love it.
By the time you got back to her dorm, her roommate was nowhere to be found—perfect. You got to work, pushing the coffee table aside and setting up the picnic blanket in the middle of the floor. You arranged the fairy lights on the nightstand and around the window, their soft glow making the space feel warm and romantic. You placed the food neatly on the blanket, including the strawberries and Nutella because you knew Paige would devour them in minutes.
For the final touch, you pulled out a handwritten card you had made earlier. It wasn’t anything extravagant, just a simple message:
“Happy Valentine’s Day, my love. Since you couldn’t take me on a fancy date, I figured I’d bring the romance to you. Hope you’re ready for the best dorm-room picnic of your life. Love, your #1 fan.”
You set the card next to the cake and took a step back, admiring your work. It wasn’t some expensive five-star dinner, but it was filled with love, and that’s what mattered most.
It was past 9 PM when you finally heard the sound of keys jingling outside the door. You quickly sat down on the blanket, waiting with anticipation.
The door swung open, and in walked Paige, looking absolutely exhausted. She had her gym bag slung over one shoulder, her hoodie slightly oversized, and her damp hair from a quick shower falling messily around her face. She was clearly ready to collapse into bed—until she took in the sight in front of her.
Her tired eyes widened as she scanned the room, from the fairy lights casting a soft glow to the carefully arranged picnic in the middle of the floor.
“Babe…” she breathed, dropping her bag by the door. “What—what is all this?”
You smiled up at her. “Your Valentine’s Day date,” you said, motioning to the setup. “Since we couldn’t go out, I figured I’d bring the date to you.”
Paige just stood there, staring at you like you had just hung the moon. “You did all this… for me?”
You rolled your eyes playfully. “No, I did it for your roommate,” you teased, making her laugh softly.
She stepped forward, dropping to her knees on the blanket and cupping your face in her hands. “I don’t deserve you,” she murmured, her thumbs gently brushing against your cheeks.
“You really don’t,” you joked, earning another laugh before she leaned in and pressed a soft, lingering kiss to your lips.
Paige wasted no time making herself comfortable, pulling you into her lap and resting her chin on your shoulder as she eyed the food. “Are those strawberries and Nutella?”
You grinned. “Of course.”
“God, I love you.”
You laughed, reaching for a strawberry and dipping it into the Nutella before holding it up to her lips. She took a bite, humming in satisfaction. “Mmm. Best Valentine’s Day ever.”
You raised an eyebrow. “Even better than last year, when we actually got to go to that fancy restaurant?”
Paige nodded without hesitation, wrapping an arm around your waist. “Way better. This is perfect.”
For the next hour, you sat together, eating and talking about everything and nothing at all. Paige stole more than her fair share of strawberries, and you made her feed you a few in return. The heart-shaped cake was a huge hit—Paige insisted on taking pictures of it before cutting into it, and she made you share the first bite with her.
At one point, she stretched out on the blanket, pulling you down so you were lying on her chest, her fingers lazily tracing patterns on your back. The sound of soft music playing from your phone mixed with the occasional sound of Paige yawning as she relaxed against you.
“This might be my favorite Valentine’s Day ever,” she admitted, pressing a lazy kiss to your temple.
You smiled, your fingers gently playing with the hem of her hoodie. “Really?”
“Really.” She tilted her head to look at you, her blue eyes filled with so much love it made your heart ache. “You didn’t have to do all this, but you did. You always do the little things that make me feel special.”
You felt your cheeks warm. “Well, you are special.”
Paige grinned before leaning in, capturing your lips in a slow, tender kiss. When she pulled back, she whispered, “I love you.”
Your heart swelled as you nuzzled closer to her. “I love you too.”
And in that moment, wrapped up in each other’s arms, surrounded by fairy lights and the warmth of your love, you knew that no matter how busy life got, as long as you had each other, every day would feel like Valentine’s Day.

Tiny Notes (OP81)

Summary: Oscar was dying, sitting in his first business meeting after signing with Mclaren. Luckily, a pretty girl his age sat right next to him, and she was certainly not in the mood to pay attention to the meeting.
A/n: I think this is one of my most favorite things I’ve written- it was originally the start to my Franco fic (coming tomorrow) but early on I got the idea to change it to Oscar and went from there. Hope you all enjoy 🫶
Neither Oscar nor the eldest Webber daughter wanted to be at the meeting. Actually Miss. Webber herself would argue that there was no reason for her to be there as she didn’t have an official role at Mclaren. But when her grown adult father pouted like a little kid when she said she’d rather eat her own eyes than sit through a 2 hour long meeting with him just because he ‘wants to spend some time with his first mini me’, she stupidly gave in. Now, as she yawned for the 5th time in the past… god, 6 minutes, she could see her dad wearing a shit eating grin while watching her die of boredom.
Even as a father, Mark Webber could be such an asshole.
Oscar didn’t know why he was at this meeting. He knew he had to be there, he had just signed a contract to join Mclaren for the upcoming season, but he didn’t know why they needed him there, especially since he couldn’t understand half the words these businessmen were talking about. Assets? Net Loss? He was just here to drive cars.
Maybe he would have figured out the significance of the meeting, if there hadn’t been a beautiful girl his age sitting right next to him. He had already gotten used to the idea that the Mark Webber was his manager, who currently sat across from him, but now he was expected to pay attention when he was next to an attractive girl?
The meeting might have been boring, but Oscar couldn't say his first day at Mclaren hadn’t been memorable.
“Isn’t that right, Oscar?” The man standing in the front of the room talking asked. Oscar just looked around, hoping he wan’t the Oscar they were talking to, but when everyone stared at him expectantly, he knew he was fucked.
“I’m sorry, I didn-”
“It is alright,” The businessman laughed, “I was just saying we were honored to sign a new driver for our second seat, and that he seems very promising, isn’t that right?”
“Oh! Yes, I am good.” Everyone laughed at that, but Oscar hadn’t meant it as a joke. He hadn’t meant it in a egotistical way, he was just being nice by agreeing with the man speaking.
Luckily, the meeting moved on and Oscar could slouch in his chair and try to disappear and die from embarrassment.
He thought he was out of the clear, that everyone had forgotten about him and he wouldn’t need to speak for the rest of the… hour and a half. This meeting was brutal.
That was until someone nudged Oscar’s leg and he looked up from his hands in his lap to see the girl next to him had pushed the notebook in front of her over.
Have you been paying attention?
Oscar panicked, he hadn’t meant to make his inattention that obvious.
Instead of picking up the pen, he looked at her and nodded his head, hoping his face was calm and convincing her he had been listening
She was not fooled.
She knew who Oscar was, even before he had been introduced. They hadn’t met formally, her dad didn’t want them to meet after she made a joke about how grateful she is to see that Formula 1 has a ‘hot new boy toy’. She was obviously kidding, or at least she tried to convince her dad that she was.
It's okay, I’m not either, she wrote again, pushing the pen towards him hoping he would reply and give her something to do while this meeting dragged on.
I don’t know what they are talking about, Oscar replied, regretting it immediately, not wanting to come across as an idiot to her.
She laughed and Oscar felt his heart flutter at the sound.
She was in the middle of replying that she didn’t know any of it either, when her dad waved his hand at them, grabbing both the young adults’ attention.
‘At least act like you care, and stop writing to each other!’ he mouthed to them.
Oscar gulped and began to sweat a little, but the girl next to him just rolled her eyes and made an indecent gesture. She’s got guts, he had to give her that.
But Mark didn’t do anything but try to conceal his laughter, somehow he wasn’t mad at the girl for disrespecting him.
She began to pick up the pen when Oscar grabbed her hand to stop her, mouthing ‘he said we can’t’
He didn’t want his manager getting mad at him.
Meanwhile Mark Webber’s eldest daughter loved to annoy her dad, but she knew he loved it too.
“He didn’t say anything about tic-tac-toe” she whispered softly into Oscar’s ear, giving him goosebumps and sending a chill down his spine. That shouldn’t have affected him as much as it did.
Get a grip, Piastri.
So they played tic-tac-toe, and other stupid games to pass the time, until it was finally the moment they were all dismissed from the meeting.
Both the young adults actually groaned when they realized the meeting was over.
Oscar didn’t get time to say anything to the girl as his teammate, Lando Norris, came up to have a quick chat. He liked Lando, he really did, but his timing was terrible.
Luckily, the brit could see Oscar was anxious to leave, and he could see who was making him anxious.
“Ohhhhhh, interesting choice, Piastri. Out of everyone you set your eyes on her? Good luck with that, mate.” Lando laughed as he patted Oscar on the back.
What the hell did he mean by that?
She had been waiting for her dad to grab something from his office, but she was also kind of possibly waiting for Oscar to come out of the room. When she looked over and saw Lando was the reason he was being held up, she scoffed.
Leave it to Norris to cockblock her.
She turned around, not wanting to get caught staring, and impatiently tapped her foot as she waited for her dad to come back. No sooner than she saw him walking as slowly as he could down the hallway, which he was doing because he saw how impatient she was, she got a tap on her shoulder.
“I just- wanted to say thanks for keeping me sane during the meeting.” Oscar said. “Oh uh, I’m Oscar, I'll be driving for the team next year.” He said awkwardly as he stuck his hand out.
Was it rude to imply she didn’t know who he was, or rude to assume she did?
“I know who you are, Oscar.” She laughed, shaking his hand. “I probably know more about you than 99% of that room.”
That confused him. “Can I at least get your name the-”
“Oscar, what was rule number one when I became your manager?” Mark Webber said, scaring the two of them as he snuck up behind the girl.
Shit, “Uh, don’t bring up Multi 21,” he replied, realizing he had just broken that rule by bringing it up.
The girl giggled at that, and Oscar felt his heart stop. He also felt a blush creep on his face, one that Mark too saw and by his frown, Oscar could tell he disapproved.
“No- well yes, but the other big rule.”
“If I meet any of you or other racing drivers’ daughters, I am not allowed to flirt or befriend or speak or look or breathe near any of them.” Oscar didn’t understand why that needed to be a rule but he thought fighting Mark on it wouldn’t go well.
“Damn, two rules broken on your first day, Piastri?” The girl laughed.
“What?” Was all he replied. Then he connected the dots. The glares and looks shared between the girl and Mark, her being able to flip him off and him not getting offended by it, the fact they walked in together.
Mark and his eldest daughter could see as Oscar reached his conclusion.
“Fuck I’m- I didn’t know that- Well you see-” There was no getting out of this.
Thankfully, Mark just laughed, “it’s alright buddy, just never speak to her ever again.” Oscar shuddered at the way his manager’s expression grew darker at the end of his sentence.
The two Webbers walked away from the young driver, arguing or joking with each other, Oscar couldn’t tell, when a paper slipped out of the girl’s hand.
Oscar picked it up and went to tell her she had dropped it, when he saw what was written on it.
Don’t listen to him, he is an overprotective ass ;)
How had she known ahead of time that her Dad would disapprove? Before he could question it further, he flipped the note to see her number was written on the back.
Thank god he was forced to be at that useless meeting.

Hiiiiiii, Could i request an Anthony Bridgerton x wife!reader fic where Anthony married reader who is from a lower class (basically like Theo) and they end up having a fight because reader did something that would be considered out of class or simply wrong while she’s trying to learn to be a viscountess. Sorry if it didn’t make any sense English isn’t my first language 😭😭😭
All's Fair in Love and Cricket (Anthony Bridgerton x Wife!Reader)
Synopsis: After getting into a fight with your new husband you decide to settle your differences in a 'sporting' fashion, whilst reminding Anthony once and for all just who he married.
A/N: Ohhhhh boy did I enjoy this one. I'm sorry if it feels a little rushed or clunky in places, I may make some more edits at some point. I struggled with the flow of writing so much action but I loved it too much not to post it. So yeah, anxiety be damned else this would join the rest of the unposted drafts I have stashed away. I hope you enjoy it. 💕
Warnings: Anthony being a stupid idiot, class references (discrimination), reference to illness
Masterlist
It was late summer and as the sun beat down on the green lawns of St James’ Palace the lords and ladies below began to wilt. Many a woman held her parasol above her head in a desperate attempt to remain cool, which was hard when you wore petticoats and had nothing to do but sit and watch the men play cricket for hours on end.
Even Her Majesty looked like she was struggling to make it through the afternoon's entertainment, her attendants desperately fanning her where she sat under her canopy. They looked close to melting in their ornate gowns, however they were clearly willing to endure if it allowed them to continue admiring the game - and more importantly, those playing it. It was like waving a bone in a dog’s face as they watched all the eligible young men of the court sprinting about the green, their physique and athletic talents on clear display.
No wonder the Queen had her opera glasses with her, despite her proximity to the field.
You almost felt bad for them, watching as the men were subjected to the same treatment as the young ladies were night after night at social functions… hence the 'almost'. After all, there was a sense of satisfaction watching them preen and dance about like show ponies on display. That, and the view wasnt exactly a terrible one when your husband was one of those playing.
You’d have endured sitting on that blasted green a thousand times over, baking in the afternoon sun and surrounded by swooning women, just to watch Anthony Bridgerton as he captained his team.
Being one of Anthony’s oldest and dearest friends, his competitive nature was well known to you (for which you had one too many games of Pall Mall at Aubrey Hall to thank), but it seemed to be out in full force today. You’d simply lost track of how many times he had dashed back and forth, working up somewhat of a sweat as he barked orders at his teammates in a desperate bid to ensure victory. It was no surprise to you that he had subsequently been forced to remove his jacket and roll up his sleeves, exposing his rather sculpted arms to those watching.
As you said, there were worse ways to spend an afternoon - and normally, you’d have been smugly lapping it up, however, today you were unable to truly enjoy yourself. Not when all you wanted to do was march over to him, take that cricket bat and give him a good whack or two. Maybe that would knock some sense back into idiot…
That was the issue with being in love with your dearest friend: those who knew you best also knew the best ways to hurt you, and Anthony’s behaviour at dinner the following evening had proven just how true a statement that was.
It had all started after the entire family had been summoned to the townhouse for a dinner, to toast you and what had so far been a successful first Season as Viscountess Bridgerton. At first, everything had appeared normal, with the usual laughter, merriment, and ease that one would typically experience at a Bridgerton gathering. It was what had first endeared the family to you, back when you had been but a small child, living at Aubrey Hall as the only daughter of their Stable Master.
They had never been anything other than kind to you, inviting you to play with their children, and join them in their daily lessons. They had also bought you gifts on your birthdays, invited you to join them at events, and even paid for the finest doctors when your father had fallen unwell several years ago. It was as if, to the Bridgertons, your family was their family - an attitude that they extended to the all members of the staff that kept their ancestral seat running. It didn’t matter if you were Head House Keeper, or the greenest of scullery maids. Everyone was counted and cherished, and the Bridgertons had earned utmost loyalty in return.
The rigid rules and divisions of high society didn’t appear to exist within the wisteria covered walls, and it had been that way well into your young adult life. In fact, it had been you that had initially rejected Anthony when he first declared his love for you one day, after taking you along with him on one of your many afternoon rides.
You’d been the one to remind him who he was and that society expected him to marry someone they deemed worthy of him and his title - and that wasn’t you. You didn’t have a penny to your name beyond the small sum you’d saved from helping with the younger Bridgerton children as a governess. You didn’t have a title or an estate or anything to bring to a marriage.
“Except the most important thing!” Anthony had pleaded. “Love… I love you, and there is no one else for me in this life except you. Life is short, terrifyingly short. Look at my mother and father… to be without the person you love most in the world is an agony and I cannot bear it. Please. I can’t lose you. I will not spend my life without you, knowing love is within both of our reach but that we were too afraid to grasp it? If I cannot spend my life, no matter how long it may be, with you then I will have no-one. No-one. My brothers can have the title. I don’t want it. I only want you.”
He’d continued to insist that for the following 6 months, even after his family had moved to their London house for the Season. It didn’t matter how many beautiful, eligible, wealthy heiresses he was introduced to. He would entertain none of them. He would have none of them. Only you.
It’s what he’d continued to insist until you’d eventually accepted, realising that he was right; Love was the most important thing and you both deserved to have it in your lives, come what may.
So, you’d said yes.
You’d become engaged and gradually made your way out into society as the new Viscountess Bridgerton, armed with the support and guidance of the Bridgertons.
Which brought you to last night and the dinner that had been organised to mark the end of the most challenging, but rewarding, Season of your life - and the dinner had started so wonderfully. Yet, somehow it had all gone to hell in a hand basket in the mere blink of an eye thanks the well meaning, but ill timed, teasing of Colin and Benedict.
Your brothers-in-law had both decided to raise a toast to your first Season as an ‘official’ member of the family and they'd got off to a rather complimentary start, if you were being honest. However, they had somehow moved from their praise on to reminiscing about the many years and many adventures you had had since joining their family.
Whereas every anecdote had caused the rest of the family to spiral into more laughter, your husband had looked more and more infuriated. In fact, Anthony had warned them not too kindly to ‘sit down’ and ‘shut up’ about your childish behaviours, which of course had only encouraged them further.
“Oh, hush, brother,” Benedict had quipped, raising a glass to your successful debut. “She knows we mean it all in good fun. After all, she once had a phase where she refused to wear shoes and would walk barefoot around the estate, traipsing mud everywhere! I think we’re allowed to be surprised by how far our dear darling Y/N has come.”
“It’s true - It’s a miracle,” Colin added, wiping the tears of laughter from his cheeks. “The transformation is remarkable. Who knew she would go from feral ragamuffin to lofty Lady Bridgerton.”
Anthony’s only response had been to tighten his grip on his glass to the point it looked like it would shatter.
Whether it was the residual stress of your busy social calendar, or something else entirely you had no idea. All you did know was that Anthony was angry, and even your gentle touch would not soothe him.
In a desperate attempt to calm him, you’d pulled Anthony out onto the terrace shortly after dessert had been cleared and asked what was happening. Much to your surprise, he had turned on you, venting about how childish his brothers were and how embarrassing it was that they were discussing things unbefitting someone who was a Viscountess.
“They’re just joking, my love. They were doing it to get a rise out of you.”
“Well, it wasn’t funny,” he’d growled, causing you to bristle. “They’re so immature. They need to grow up and realise we’re not children any more. That… that you’re my wife and joint head of this family.”
“So? What’s that supposed to mean?”
“You know what I mean.”
“No, I don’t, Anthony,” you snapped, the warning clear in your tone. “What are you trying to say?”
“Nothing, I just - it - they’re… it’s embarrassing.”
“So, you’re embarrassed? By what? Your family? Or me? Because everything they said tonight is true. I did do those things, as did you. I may not have been born a noble lady but you knew that when you asked me to marry you. So don’t suddenly act like you're ashamed, that you are somehow better than your family - than me.”
Somehow the argument had only spiralled from there, with both of you saying things you didn’t mean, and with both of you storming off and slamming the doors behind you.
Even now, sat on the edge of the cricket pitch, the thought made your blood boil. How dare he? How dare he act ashamed of you and the wondrous memories of your youth together? It wasn’t as if you hadn’t grown and matured since then. You had done everything within your power to be worthy of him and his family, and yet all it took was one mention of the girl you had once been to make him upset?
As if sensing your silent fury, Eloise had been glued to your side since the moment you'd left the house. Her company had been a blessing, with her numerous whispered remarks and jokes, making the day almost bearable. One remark in particular from Eloise had caused you to burst out laughing in a most undignified fashion after watching Anthony trip over one of the opposite team - the Duke of Hastings of all people.
You still weren’t quite sure how they had been positioned on opposite teams, but you were sure there was some kind of wicked divine intervention responsible. Who else would think it a good idea to put two competitive men against one another? Your hosts, perhaps? After all, Lady Danbury and Her Majesty had organised the game and you had learned long ago not to underestimate the women - especially when they decided to conspire together.
“How long is this delightful game again?” Eloise’s polite remark oozed with sarcasm as she leant back against the tree behind her.
It was obvious she was bored senseless. In fact, you half suspected she would have already left had her mother not been sat on the opposite side of the green, watching her like a hawk.
“I’m not sure,” you groaned in reply. “I lost count of who was winning about an hour ago.”
“So, we’re to be trapped here for eternity?”
“Pretty much, considering this part will not end until either Simon or Anthony lose, and we both know that neither one of them will concede defeat easily.”
Eloise rolled her eyes. “And I thought they were bad at Pall Mall-”
“-LOOK OUT!”
The cry interrupted both of you as you turned in surprise. Given the so-far sedimentary tone of the day, neither of you had expected such excitement as numerous Lords and Ladies began to hurl themselves out of the way as a stray cricket ball rocketed through the air, towards the crowd.
“Good god!”
The exclamation seemed apt as both you and Eloise ducked, watching as the ball sailed past, causing several yelps and groans from the people around you. You were pretty sure you also spied a glass of lemonade flying through the air in all the chaos. However, your attention was drawn to the figure charging towards you to retrieve the offending item as it rolled to a stop.
Anthony.
“Pardon me, Y/N,” he murmured, reaching down to collect the ball that now lay a small distance from your feet. You nodded in greeting, aware of the many eyes watching but you elected not to say anything, not trusting yourself not to make some snide remark.
As it was, you both had barely said more than a handful of words to each other since your argument last night.
Clearly sensing the lingering tension between you, Anthony quickly turned to address his sister instead. “Eloise.”
“Ah, brother," Eloise cheered. "Splendid play so far. Tell me, when did the object of the game become the decapitation of the ton? I would have attended far more cricket matches had I known that was the aim of the game.”
“You can blame Simon for that one,” he replied, his taunt hidden beneath his neutral smile. “Still, good dodging back there. I thought he might have nearly caught you both.”
“Almost.”
“But alas he missed, like most of your players today,” you quipped, enjoying the way Anthony seemed to redden at the reminder of his team’s less than stellar performance. “Still, good effort. You’ve almost caught up with Her Majesty’s team. I believe that’s better than last year.”
“Well, that might have had something to do with the fact that she does have Simon,” Anthony grumbled.
It was true, no one could out-run Simon - even if Anthony always gave it a damn good try: hence why the Queen often had him captain her team when he was in London for the season. Besides, the head of the other team was usually Lord Duval, due to his position as the Queen’s chief administrator. However, it seemed his brains and financial strength were all he had, due to the fact his social skills, and athleticism were sorely lacking.
“Touché, and who is up next?” Eloise asked.
“I don't actually know. The other team seem to be taking remarkably long to sort themselves out.”
Just then, almost as if on cue, three men began to hurry towards them.
A quick glance revealed that one of the gentlemen who was approaching was Colin Bridgeton, and the other the Duke of Hastings; that much you knew. The third was rather unfamiliar to you, however, you were pretty certain he’d been playing on Simon’s team. Regardless of his identity, neither he nor any of the other gentlemen now stood in front of you looked very pleased. Rather, they looked as if they had all sucked on a lemon, their frowns were so deep.
“Sorry to interrupt ladies, but I must reclaim Lord Bridgerton here for a moment. It appears Anthony will be needed to bowl again,” Simon sighed by way of explanation.
“What on earth for?”
Colin was the first to answer. “Lord Dingby is unable to bowl on account of the heat, and the Baron will not play.” His skepticism was clear as he shot the so called Baron a disapproving look. “He ’twisted his ankle’ or so he claims, thus we are down a bowler and the other team is down a player.”
You all rolled your eyes.
“So then, who will bat?” questioned Eloise curiously. “If Anthony is bowling you still require one more man to take their place on the other team?”
Wasn’t that the question of the hour. However, no one appeared to have an answer, and by the disapproving glare steadily growing on the Queen’s face, they didn’t have long to come up with one.
“Maybe Lord Stevens?” suggested the third man hastily, staring around at the crowd.
“No. He injured himself riding the other week,” Simon replied. “And unfortunately our hosts only saw fit to invite enough male guests as were playing. We aren’t exactly spoilt for choice regarding possible options.”
It was true. There didn’t seem to be any visible answer in sight given that those most suited to the game were already positioned on the field.
“What about female guests though?”
Your question hung in the air for a moment, causing everyone around you to turn in surprise.
“Excuse me?” Anthony looked at you suspiciously as you began to rise from your seat. He was well versed enough to know when mischief was afoot. A fact that was proven right a moment later as you held your hand out towards a shocked - and excited - Colin.
He was only too happy to oblige your silent request as he placed the bat in your grip. It was rapidly becoming the most exciting event of the season and lord knows he wasn’t about to spoil the fun - especially if he got to rub salt into Anthony’s wounds at the same time.
After all, given his display the previous evening, it was time you truly gave him something to feel embarrassed about. Losing.
“Are you sure about this?”
“Perfectly,” you smiled. “You’ve seen me when we’ve played Pall Mall. I have a decent enough swing. Besides, you said yourselves you need an extra player and there isn’t exactly anyone suited left - not anyone male, anyway.”
“Anthony?”
To his credit, your husband was also smiling, even if you could see the sudden tension forming behind his perfect smile. “I see no problem with it. I’m sure our hosts would prefer the game finished rather than called off because we ran out of players.”
“Agreed. Well, it’s settled then.” Simon cheered, clapping a hand on Anthony’s shoulder as they looked back towards the field. “It seems she will be taking his go.”
Then they noticed the rain cloud of a man next to them.
"She can’t play!” protested the third man. Everyone looked at him in silent disbelief. “This is a gentleman’s game. A Lady can not play."
“Her Majesty seems to have no objections,” Eloise commented smugly, glancing across the field. Indeed, it was true Her Majesty seemed to have no objections to the turn of events, choosing instead to exchange a wad of pound notes with the man beside her. If anything she looked exhilarated by the prospect. "Besides, I doubt a feeble female such as ourselves will pose any threat to your team, your Lordship.”
“Well… I… Bridgerton, I still don’t think-”
Thankfully, Anthony was all too busy gazing at you to take any notice of the pompous oaf’s objections.
It was a look you were more than familiar with, the unspoken desire and encouragement obvious in the way his gaze softened. It was the same look he always gave you when you’d done something amazing (and most things were amazing in his eyes). It didn't matter if it was taming a particularly unruly horse, solving a maths problem that left the rest of them scratching their heads, or daring to step onto the dance floor at your first ball, knowing not another soul in that room other than him.
It was a look that made you feel invincible. That you could do anything and everything you put your mind to as long as you had Anthony cheering you on from the sidelines... you were a team. Always.
"Anthony?" you asked, the challenge obvious - but also your sincerity. If he truly did not want you to play then you'd have marched back to your chair and sat right back down.
You'd meant it before. You loved your husband and wanted nothing more than to be the best partner you could be. Your hurt from last night had stemmed from the fear that, for a moment, that wasn't enough for him anymore.
Fortunately, it appeared you were wrong. Your husband wasn't embarrassed by you. If anything, he looked ready to kiss the ground you walked on as he leaned over and whispered in your ear, "If you can get four runs, I will personally pay you 5 pounds."
"You have a deal," you laughed. "As it is, women and ladies alike play cricket up and down the country. It’s high time we had a chance to show you boys up."
The other man began to protest again. "My Lady, my La-"
He never got very far. You simply stopped, turning and handing him your parasol and shawl.
"Thank you," you cheered marching away.
He paused, taken aback. It didn’t help that Eloise was only too eager to firmly pull him back into your now vacant seat with a glare that could have melted ice.
All around applause broke out as the players resumed their positions on the field. It took a moment or two for them to prepare for play but now everyone seemed to be watching intently.

Oh well, if you were to dare to play at all then you may as well dare to achieve something from it, you mused, gripping the bat handle and aligning yourself with the wicket. Victory seemed a rather good start, especially given the fact you had no idea what Lady Whistledown would make of this turn of affairs. You’d already had a shocking enough entrance into the world of the Ton, what was one more daring display?
"Go easy, Lord Bridgerton," the referee cautioned from the side of the green.
Anthony nodded obediently at the crowd’s titters. You could see the restraint he was demonstrating, choosing not to hurl the ball at you the way he would had you both been in the privacy of your home. Instead, it took all his will power to grip the cricket ball and resume his position on the field.
Unfortunately, you never knew when best to desist from poking proverbial bears. That, and Anthony was too easy a target.
"Yes, do go easy on me," you jibed. Everyone who knew you could hear the sarcasm buried in your voice as you took the bat and fluttered your eyelashes at him. "I’m only a delicate woman, but I must endeavour to ensure her Majesty’s team at least has an opportunity to best you, Lord Bridgerton. You’re only losing by what? A few wickets?"
Oh. You were in for it now.
Anthony’s grin was devious as he stepped back a few paces, weighing the ball in his hand till finally he charged at you, swinging his arm over in the perfect bowl.
It was then you brought up your bat to send the ball back in a high arc.
There was a moment of stunned silence as everyone followed the ball with their eyes. It was as if they couldn’t believe you’d actually managed to hit it. However, the shock quickly wore off as everyone remembered the point of hitting the ball in the first place.
"GO!" came a yell from the crowd as excitement began to spread.
So, you did.
Hitching your skirts in one hand, you began to sprint towards the other set of wickets, grinning as your partner passed you along the way.
Of course, you would have liked to protest that you could have indeed run faster had you not been encumbered by your stays and petticoats. Your slippers were also rather terrible for any movement. What you wouldn’t have given for a pair of trousers right then.
"Come on!" came another yell - it seemed as if everyone was forgetting their dignity in all the excitement as you tore back and forth across the grass in a mad blur.
Had it been anyone but you, it would have been a terribly scandalous moment. Yet, your name - and the status of your betrothed - meant this was all merely seen as sport. Besides, from the way Her Majesty was whooping from her perch by the trees, it was clear where her loyalties lay.
"Come on Y/N!"
"Anthony! Run!"
"Over here!"
"Come on!"
The cries blurred into one as you finally turned at what you planned on being your final run, only to spot Anthony as he came sprinting back towards you… and the wicket.
"Oh no, you don’t," you laughed, charging onwards in a final burst of energy.
You could hardly catch your breath as the world slowed around you.
All that remained was you, Anthony, and the closing distance between you.
You could see his desperation laced with delight as he watched you stagger towards the wicket… just as the ball he’d thrown hit it.
"IN!"
The referee’s declaration initiated an eruption of noise as all around the green, men and women celebrated the spectacle they’d just witnessed, and the victory you had now ensured. Within seconds you were swarmed, mobbed by well wishers and triumphant team mates. There were so many hugs and snatched ‘well done’s that you were quite at a loss what to do other than stand there and accept it. Thankfully, Anthony seemed to have read your mind and was at your side as soon as he was able to fight through the jubilant throng.
The moment he reach you he took your hand in his. His expression was a mixture of awe and contrition, clearly unsure what to say to you.
"Good game," he praised. "Simon better watch out - I think Her Majesty will be asking you to captain her team next year."
"What a tremendous idea, Lord Bridgerton. I may just do that."
As if summoned by the very mention of her, a voice rang out clearly from behind you. Without even turning you knew exactly who was standing behind you, as the throng suddenly fell silent around you and parted like the Red Sea. In all the excitement you had failed to notice the Royal party making their way across the field to join in the celebrations.
With a gulp, you turned and dropped into the most respectful curtsey you could manage without falling flat on your face. "Y - your Majesty."
The Queen chuckled. "I must thank you, Lady Bridgerton, for providing such excitement to our proceedings today. I also must thank you for the twenty pounds I just procured off of Brimbsley - that’ll teach him to bet against me."
You merely dipped your head in gratitude, unsure whether this was actually happening or not. After all, the closest the you’d ever been to monarch was your hasty presentation several months ago and that had barely earned you more than a curious glance, like you had been some exotic animal on parade at the Zoo. And now, the Queen was addressing you? A lowly Stable Master’s daughter?
It was enough to make you feel as if this was all some kind of surreal dream.
"Anyone who bets against your Majesty deserves to be relieved of their coin."
"True, True," she preened, gesturing for you and everyone else to rise. "I gather you have played this game before?"
"Growing up around the Bridgertons ensured I had little alternative," you confirmed, relieved when the Queen proceeded to chuckle good-naturedly.
"I dare say you didn’t, my dear. Well, it certainly makes for a rather entertaining afternoon, as well as a victorious one. Perhaps we aught to have women playing more often." She turned her head and chose to direct her next words directly to your husband. "You’ve chosen quite the bride, Lord Bridgerton - you are to be congratulated on choosing such a spirited partner. I hope you realise how lucky you are."
"Indeed, your Majesty," Anthony replied, the earnestness clear in his eyes. "I’ve realised just how truly unique and remarkable she is… and how lucky I am that she chose to be on my team, even if not on the cricket pitch."
Another round of laughter echoed out at his declaration but you knew it was more than just a jest. In fact, by the all-too-clear pride radiating off of the eldest Bridgerton you knew what he truly meant with his honeyed praise.
It was all the apology you could need and had you not been in such company you’d have dragged him into the bushes and shown him just how much you forgave him. Besides, your victory on the Cricket pitch was enough pay-back for both of you.
As if sensing the amorous tension steadily rising around her, the Queen chose that moment to make a well-timed departure, in search of a refreshment. She barely gave you all a final nod before marching off to greet the rest of her guests, leaving you stood there with a rather gobsmacked expression on your face.
"Well… that really happened," you murmured, struggling to maintain your newfound confidence now that the whole saga had come to an end. "Did I actually just do that? Did the Queen actually just … talk to me?"
"She really did," Anthony confirmed, hands grazing yours nervously, as if unsure whether or not you’d accept his touch. However, your hands accepted his readily, fingers intertwining as you squeezed his palm in an obvious attempt to ground yourself. "You truly were incredible today - I know you don’t need to hear it but, for what it’s worth, I am proud of you."
"Thank you."
"And I truly am sorry for being such a world class fool, last night," he continued swiftly, clearly keen to make his apology whilst you were willing to receive it. "I didn’t mean to make you feel as if I was embarrassed by you. I never could be. It couldn’t be further from the truth. I was vexed with my brothers and because of several other trivial matters, but I allowed my temper to get the better of me and I handled it poorly. I lashed out at the wrong person - the one person who deserves nothing less than to be told how incredible she is, every single day. I am unworthy of you, Y/N. I know no one else in the entire world so awe inspiring and to let you think otherwise for even a moment was my failing entirely. You are brave and smart and funny and kind and beautiful-"
"Ok, Anthony. I get it."
"-and I am unworthy of someone with such skill on the cricket pitch-"
"Anthony," you squealed, trying to hide your laughter as he pulled you into his arms and smothered your face in kisses. "It’s fine. I forgive you. After all, I also lost my temper and said some things I didn’t mean. Can we just agree we’re both sorry and put this mess behind us?"
"Yes! God yes," he sighed, looking like a weight had visibly lifted from his shoulder. "Because I really do not like fighting with you. Instead, I think we should be enjoying your victory parade. Today is your triumph, after all - the Queen’s champion."
"Hmmm, I rather like that title," you purred, gazing up at him. "But between us? I prefer being your wife, much much more."

Professor!Wanda x Reader
Hurt/comfort, TW: Mentions of past assault
This is a completely fictional story and any parallels it may have to the conversation between my advisor and I this morning are a total coincidence.
You made your way to Wanda’s office, gently knocking on her open office door. Her smile was an instant balm for the ache in your chest. She was busy, bent over her keyboard in concentration, but as soon as she saw you, her face softened and her entire body lightened.
“Y/N! It’s lovely to see you. I’ve got a meeting in about 15 minutes, but, please, come in. Have a seat,” she said, rolling her desk chair back so she could clear off the extra seat in her office. It was full of books and manila folders full of work she needed to grade. It was always full of books and folders when you weren’t sitting in it.
“How are you doing this afternoon? It’s been a minute since you’ve come by. I was hoping to see you on Friday. What have you been up to?” She asked, turning away from her computer and disregarding everything she was working on before you came in.
You swallowed and sat down on the maroon office chair. “It… it’s been alright… I guess…” you stammered.
She caught on immediately, furrowing her brow. You were lying. She got up to close the door before squatting down to your level and resting her hand on your knee. “What’s going on?”
You swallowed again, looking away from her and blinking back tears. Your voice was a quiet, raspy whisper. “It’s stupid.”
“Hey.” She gently directed your head to look at her. Her voice dropped to a similarly low whisper, knowing the office was surrounded by other offices on every side. “Tell me what happened.”
She crumbled your resolve immediately. You grabbed her hand that was resting on your knees, holding it between yours for support. “My roommate… she’s got this new boyfriend. They’ve been dating for… I guess a couple months now. She’s started bringing him over to the house.” You froze for a moment before you could force the next words out of your mouth. “I knew him. When we were in high school he… he was a bad person. And not as in I don’t like him. A bad person as in… assault.”
She tensed, eyes going wide. “Oh, Y/N,” she sighed sympathetically. “Did you tell her?”
You nodded, starting to cry a little bit. You hated crying, but tears always seemed to come easily when she was touching you. “She said he’d changed. She said he was 15 and on heroin when he did it. I told her I know I was there and she said she actually believes people deserve a second chance and I… it’s not that I don’t believe in redemption I just don’t want him in my house,” you rambled, fully crying now. You wiped your nose on your hoodie sleeve.
She pulled you into her arms, letting you sob into her shawl. She rubbed your back and shushed your cries, kissing the top of your head until you calmed down enough for her to sit down. She spread her arms and gestured for you to climb into her lap. You did, wrapping your body around her like a koala. She untucked your shirt so she could run her nails down your bare back in the way you told her you loved.
“I’m so sorry, angel,” she cooed, whispering into your hair.
“I just feel like shit. I’m so scared every time he’s there and I hate seeing him, but I don’t want to tell my roommate she can’t date someone. She cried the entire time we talked because she said she feels so worthless and he’s the only person who’s made her feel like she’s worth anything in years. And she says she’s so torn and she thought that I of all people would recognize that people change and you shouldn’t spend your whole life getting punished for some mistake you made at 15. She said it’s not fair that I’m not even willing to give him a chance and I just don’t know what to do,” you cried.
“Baby,” she soothed, keeping her tone calm and steady. You could feel the way it vibrated through her chest. “You aren’t responsible for accommodating someone who has hurt you so thoroughly. Even if he has changed and he is a better person now, it’s a perfectly reasonable boundary to not want this man in your house. It is your home and you deserve to feel safe inside of it.”
She gently rocked you back and forth. “Do you have a place to go where you feel safe? You could come to my place. We have a spare room. I’ll just tell Viz you're helping out with the boys, not that he’ll be home much anyway.”
“I… I have this place that I housekeep for sometimes. They’re out of town and asked if I would clean while they’re gone. I asked if I can stay and they said it was fine,” you answered in a small, timid voice.
“Mmm,” she hummed. “Well, just think about it, alright? I’d like to be able to keep an eye on you: make sure you’re getting food and taken care of.”
Your heart swelled with an affection that brought on a new wave of tears. She always made you feel so important and cared for. You rested your head on her shoulder. “Okay.”
You heard the chime of a Microsoft Teams notification in the background. She held you close as she scooted towards her desk. “This is my meeting. I’ll keep my camera and microphone off, but you’ve got to close your ears.”
You nodded into her neck, slumping against her. You could care less about what any school official had to say. All that mattered was that you were in her arms, finally a home where you could feel safe.

Are you able to do the following?
You and caitlin are best friends and attached at the hip. People keep mistaking you guys for a couple, but it starts to annoy you because you have a secret crush on her, and she has a boyfriend. You guys have a fight, and you learn she likes you back and breaks up with her man for you?
“oh my god! so sorry!” your roommate said as she walked in on you and caitlin napping together
“hm? we were just napping” you explained
“you’re spooning” your roommate gave you a knowing smirk. you denied your crush on caitlin every time your roommate asked, but she never seemed convinced-probably because your huge crush was impossible to deny
“don’t tell connor” caitlin joked. you groaned at the mention of his name. luckily, caitlin mistook it for a tired groan “go back to sleep sweetie”
“sweetie” your roommate muttered under her breath. if you sat up and turned around, you’re sure you would’ve seen her shaking her head. caitlin pulled the covers over you both and put her arm around you. you fell asleep easily in her arms
***
“hey lovebirds” kate walked in on you and caitlin watching a movie. caitlin’s arm was around your shoulder and your head was in the crook of her neck
“not lovebirds” you rolled your eyes. you wished. caitlin shushed you and kissed your head
“relax. don’t worry about it” caitlin squeezed your shoulder and pulled you closer into her
***
you had a great time dancing with caitlin at the party. it was nice to relax and spend time with your best friend without people thinking you’re together. it probably helped that connor came to the party with her
gabbie called the two of you over to play truth or dare and you got nervous. you were drunk and if someone asked about your feelings, you weren’t sure you could successfully lie. but caitlin insisted and dragged you over to the game. she sat down next to connor and pulled you onto her other side. she grabbed your hand and played with your fingers
the game started and you got increasingly nervous as your turn got closer. if someone asked you if you and caitlin were together, you wouldn’t know how to react. caitlin sensed your nervousness and squeezed your hand. she leaned into you
“don’t be nervous” she said in your ear “you can always pick dare” it was finally your turn and you picked dare–truth was too risky. but when kate gave you your dare, you regretted that decision
“i dare you to do a body shot off of…” kate looked around the circle “caitlin’s abs” it wasn’t that you didn’t want to lick her abs, it was that you did want to. badly
“caitlin, is that okay with you?” you asked, hoping she would bail you out. instead she drunkenly giggled
“it’s a party, let’s have fun” she laid down on the couch you were sitting on and put her head on connor’s lap. connor was completely unbothered by the fact someone who wasn’t him was about to lick his girlfriend’s abs. he actually started encouraging you with the rest of the circle
kate poured you a tequila shot and handed you a salt shaker and a lime wedge. caitlin lifted her shirt up and giggled again. fuck her abs looked good. nervously, you licked a stripe from her bellybutton to the bottom of her bra that was peeking out. even just that little bit of contact made you hot. you poured the salt on the strip of skin you licked and put the lime wedge in her mouth
you licked the salt off her abs, drank the tequila shot kate was holding out to you, and took the lime out of caitlin’s mouth. you tried to focus on the bitterness of the alcohol and sourness of the lime instead of the brief second caitlin’s lips were on yours. you grabbed a napkin and cleaned off her abs while the circle cheered. you smiled until you heard caitlin pick dare and gabbie dared caitlin to make out with you
“gabbie, come on. connor is right there” you wouldn’t be able to hide your feelings if you got to kiss her
“i have no problem with you two making out” connor almost seemed excited at the prospect of you and caitlin making out
“really?” you made a final attempt to avoid blowing up your friendship with caitlin
“as long as i get to watch, i don’t mind” with that go-ahead from connor, caitlin brought her leg over your hip to straddle you. she held your face in her hands and leaned in to kiss you. she rubbed your nose with hers and giggled. fuck. she hadn’t even kissed you and you were already getting wet
caitlin kissed you slowly, expertly moving her lips against yours. you held back a moan when her tongue gently entered your mouth. you pressed your tongue against hers to deepen the kiss and she was the one to let out a moan. fuck it. you grabbed the back of caitlin’s head and really let yourself get into the kiss. when she pulled back from the kiss, she giggled again and smiled cutely
for the rest of the night, you couldn’t stop thinking about how good the kiss was. you were in big trouble. so when caitlin asked you to take her home because she was tired and connor wanted to stay, you hesitated. but when she gave you those doe eyes and said please, you couldn’t say no. you walked her back to her dorm and to her room. you gave her a hug good night, turned around, and started walking away before she called your name
“you’re a really good kisser” she admitted. you sighed
“caitlin, i can’t do this. i can’t keep getting mistaken for your girlfriend. i can’t make out with you on dares. i can’t be walking you home from parties when it should be your boyfriend doing this”
“what do you mean? do you not want to be my friend anymore?”
“no, i don’t want to be your friend anymore. i don’t want to be mistaken for your girlfriend, i want to be your girlfriend. i don’t want to make out with you on dares, i want to make out with you every day. i don’t want to do the job of your boyfriend when he doesn’t want to. i want to do the job of your girlfriend because i always want to. i like you, probably even love you, but i can’t be with you. so i can’t be your friend anymore” you walked away, ignoring caitlin calling your name
***
you woke up to frantic knocking at your door. you rushed to the door to stop the knocking. you opened the door, surprised to see caitlin after you went off on her last night
“i broke up with connor” your eyes widened “i didn’t know you felt like that. i like you, probably even love you, too” immediately you pulled her in for a kiss
“get your cute little butt in here and cuddle me”

WORKIN’ DAY AND NIGHT | b. eilish.
billie was supposed to be home an hour ago.
it bothered you so bad when she stayed out late and didn’t tell you that she wasn’t gonna be home, mostly because it made you feel stupid, just as you did currently— you had been up waiting for her for nearly three hours, and embarrassment was the only thing you felt now.
you texted and called, of course, but she never answered. the phone would ring a few times and then ship you right off to her voicemail. if you were being honest, the last three phone calls you made were only because all you wanted to hear was her soft voice and her sweet laugh.
“hey, it’s billieee! i can’t come to the phone right now, obviously— so just leave a message for me, and i’ll call you back. love you, take care— finneas, shut up! i’m recording my voicemail— wait, how do i turn this shit off? wait, okay, bye for real this time.”
the line went dead as you hung up the one-sided phone call. you were sad now, tears beginning to gloss over your eyes when you slithered underneath the covers of your bed, billie’s scent still lingering on the pillows and in the sheets. you laid on your side and cut off the lamp next to you, grabbing your phone and aimlessly scrolling on social media to distract your mind.
the truth was, you had a really shitty day for a multitude of reasons, and all you really wanted was to compensate for that by spending some time with your girlfriend. however, she clearly had other plans— she was in the studio with finneas and it was making you upset that she hadn’t even checked in.
frustration was what brought you to tears, not sadness. you wiped your eyes harshly and shut your phone off, sinking deep into your mattress and attempting to fall asleep, though your heart and mind were racing. you tossed and turned with the hope that the physical exertion would make you sleepy, but it did nothing but make you full of more adrenaline.
you literally tossed and turned for an hour and a half until you heard the door fly open, watching billie come through it and flicker on a small lamp on your nightstand. she was out of breath, and immediately slipped her shoes and clothes off to where she was nothing in a tank top and her underwear.
“y/n, baby— i’m so so sorry i didn’t check in, me and finneas were fucking some taco bell up and then we got so distracted with the production that i…” billie paused, now standing idle in front of you as you sat up to look at her with teary eyes. “i guess i just…i forgot.”
you laid back down in your spot in the bed as billie sat at the edge of it, putting her hair in a quick bun and grabbing some aquaphor from the drawer next to her. as she put it on her lips, she shot you a heartbroken expression, “i’m sorry baby. please talk to me…i-i feel horrible.”
“just wish you would’ve remember that i existed. enough to at least send a text.” you whispered, clearly hurt by the way your voice cracked a little when you spoke. warm tears began running down your cheeks and billie immediately scooped you up, pulling you into her lap as she laid on the covers. she pulled the duvet over you and then grabbed your face with a free hand, an apologetic expression transcribed all over her face.
“no, angel— that’s not it at all, you’re so very important to me and of course i remembered you existed. but i was just so focused on writing that i wasn’t even on my phone, but i wont let it happen again, okay? i’m gonna always put my baby first. because i love you.”
“i love you too, bils.” you murmured as she smiled, grabbing both sides of your face tightly and peppering kisses all over your skin. you groaned at first, but you secretly loved it— how soft and affectionate she got when the two of you were alone and in your quiet space together.
she kissed you once more, softly against the lips, before pulling away and rubbing your thigh underneath the blanket, “tomorrow i’m gonna make up for my mistake. we’re gonna go downtown and get food on me, and then i’m gonna take you shopping and spoil the fuck ‘outta you.”
you giggled at that, nodding your head and resting it on billie’s chest as you felt a wave of sleepiness wash over you. the last thing you felt was your girlfriend toying with your hair before you were drawn to sleep.
“sweet dreams, babygirl.”

Your 25th Birthday | Multiple Characters
Characters: Obanai Iguro, Mitsuri Kanroji, Shinobu Kocho, Sanemi Shinazugawa, Kyojuro Rengoku, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Kanae Kocho
Warnings: Angsty themes ahead! Takes place after the canonical events of Demon Slayer but in an au where the characters who died survive! Reader is crippled in a few of these ( Kyojuro's s/o especially has been through hell and is heavily implied to be paralyzed from the waist down. There are also implications that she's been burned, cut up, etc. ) so read at your own risk!
Summary: It's the night before their marked!s/o's 25th birthday! How do they spend it with them? 🤔
A/N: I wrote this scenario over on Wattpad for a special and I really liked how it came out so I wanted to share some of my favorite parts over here on Tumblr! Hope you enjoy it! 😁

"Do you think we'll meet each other in every life?" The question was whispered out in the dead of night as you sat on the engawa of your estate. Obanai sat next to you, being used for both support and a source of comfort. You watched the stars twinkle in the sky, a forgone look in your eyes that he's never seen before. It was unnerving to him since it felt like he was staring at a breathing corpse..
"Of course. If that's what you want, I'll find you in every life," He answered to which you hummed, your expression unchanging from the one of unsettling contentment.
"What if something happens to prevent us from being together?" You muttered grimly despite the smile painted on your face. Obanai was quicker answering this time around, "Nothing would prevent me from being with you. Nothing."
"Even if I'm a total jerk?" You questioned. He answers, "Even if you're a total jerk."
"Even if we're on opposite sides of the world?" You continued. He answers, "Even if we're on opposite sides of the world."
"Even if I turned into a man-eating demon and tried to eat you?" And then he pauses. You giggle at him despite the bad taste the lack of answer gives you and mutter out a soft, "Sorry. That was mean of me to ask. Forget—"
"Even.." This time, you pause. Your head bobbing back to look up at him and those marvelous mismatched eyes of his. He's already looking at you by that time. He's been doing so the entire time, never once glancing at the night sky since the two of you sat down.
He continues, "..Even if you turned into a man-eating demon and tried to eat me," He says, "I can't promise that we would be together in that life, but in the afterlife, I'd do everything in my power to make you the happiest person in the world."
You hadn't realized it until he moved his hand from your waist and started rubbing at your cheeks that you had started crying. Even when you did realize it, you didn't do anything besides let the tears fall because even if you wanted to wipe away the tears, you had long lost feeling in your arms to do so.
In the end, you smother your face into his haori, not caring that you suddenly felt the cool scales of Kaburamaru as he wrapped himself snugly—but not too tightly—around your neck.
"Thank you.." You sniveled as your tears wet his shoulder, "Thank you so much for loving me, Obanai.."
"Thank you for allowing me to love you, Y/n," He said back as he let you stain his shoulder with your tears.

"Awh, don't cry, pretty girl.. Not over me," You cooed as your fingers ran through the pink of Mitsuri's hair. She was hunched over on the bedside, face in your lap and her fat, wet tears dripping down her stained cheeks—passing the moles under her eyes that you love to kiss—and splashing onto your kimono.
She had worked so hard trying to mentally prepare herself for tonight, but when she entered the room and saw your tired, smiling face staring back at her, she broke down.
There was still so much she wanted to do with you! So many dates she wanted to take you on! So many foods she wanted to cook and try with you! So many firsts she still hasn't been able to take from you and so many firsts you haven't had the time to take from her! So many memories she still wanted to make with you!
Why can't she be given just a little more time with her sweetheart? She gets that this sacrifice was a necessary one and she wouldn't be here otherwise if it weren't for you pushing yourself the extra mile and saving her, but she can't help the sinking feeling of regret that drags her heart down to her stomach by a chain of sorrow at the thought of you leaving..
"I- I'm..so sorry.." She managed to say between sobs, "I'm.. I'm sorry...I.."
"Sorry for what, honey?' You asked her in a tender tone, "You haven't done anything wrong."
"I.. I.." She takes a moment, unable to form a proper sentence without choking on her own sobs, "I'm sorry for being such a horrible wife!" Now, you certainly weren't expecting that out of all things..
Your brows furrow as your hand stills in her hair, "You aren't a bad wife, honey," You said, trying your best to sound firm despite the slight tremor in your voice from exhaustion.
"Yes, I am!" She wailed, "I haven't been able to do anything for you! You.. You were always the one caring for me and I haven't been able to fulfill any of your needs or do anything you should be proud of!"
"Hey, hey, hey," You shushed, "Look at me..please," And she listens immediately like a puppy at your beck and call. She lifts her head, her big green eyes puffy and filled to the brim with tears despite the constant stream that flows down her pink, warmed cheeks.
"You are an amazing wife, alright? Marrying you was the best thing to ever happen to me," You told her, putting a slight pause between each word to better emphasize your statement. You used your fingers to urge her to come closer and she complies, inching closer until she's close enough so that you could cup her face.
"You simply waking up and smiling at me everyday is enough for me. Seeing you happy and healthy is enough for me, do you understand me?" You asked, the shake in your voice getting worse, "You've done everything to satisfy me. If anything, I should apologize to you for not granting your wishes."
What are you talking about? There's no way you seriously think that, right?
"No! Don't apologize!" Suddenly pushing herself up with her arms, her face suddenly got so close to yours that you had to move your had back so that you two didn't accidentally bump heads, "My wish was to marry someone who'd love me for me.. Wh-.. Who'd love my freakish strength and my weird hair color and my abnormal appetite and you've done that better than anyone ever could!" As she talks, her cool tears drip onto your warm hands and scatter upon contact, "You've made me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world and you've spoiled me at every turn! You've made my life feel like it was worth living, so please—!" She moves forward, wrapping her arms around your neck and putting her tearful face into your shoulder, "Don't downplay your hard work! I can't bear you doing that after you've given so much to me!"
And with that, she crumbles all over again on your shoulder, and to your surprise, you do too. As her grip loosens and she slides down your body, ending with her head at your lap once again and bawling into it, you felt your eyes welling up with tears.
"Mitsuri.." Your throat began to ache from trying to keep your voice steady as your bottom lip began tremble. You tried to control yourself further by slapping your hand over your mouth to muffle a sob that threatened to slip from your lips, but your tears rolled from your eyes without your permission and down your hand, dripping onto your beloved before you could catch them with your other hand..
In the end, a particularly loud hiccup sounded your defeat and you bowed your head. Your hands sliding over your face as you cried with the former Love Hashira who you are grateful to call your spouse in this life.

"It's been a while since I've seen that expression on your face," You said as you gazed up at the prettiest woman you've ever laid your eyes on. Her thin brows dipped and wrinkling her smooth, porcelain-like skin just like the thin line she made with her lips, which you notice twitch just a tad at your comment.
She doesn't say anything to retort what you said. Not a witty remark or sarcastic, irritated utterance or a flowery deflection leaving her pink-painted lips. She simply gazes down in silence, her polished thumb rubbing lines into the back skin of your hand in a steady motion. It causes your eyes to frown and otherwise droop as you realize that your simple attempt at relieving the tense atmosphere in the room has failed.
"Shinobu," You call, "Can you smile for me?" And she listens, her brows lifting just like her lips as they form into that perfect smile that took her years to perfect. Just the sight of it makes you frown.
"Not like that. I want to see a genuine smile.." You mutter and just like that, her smile drops and her brows knit together once again. This time, though, it's all brought together by the vein flexing on her forehead.
"How am I suppose to do that when my wife is dying in front of me?" She asks, voice quiet and complimented by a vexed tone. In the past, you always hated when she got mad at you. Seeing her so visibly irked was frightening, even more so when it was directed at you..
But right now, hearing her angry tone and seeing her infuriated expression brought you nothing but comfort and caused your smile to return. She notices it and it pushes her to ask you in an exasperated tone, "How can you do that?"
You blink, confused "Do what?"
"Smile," She tells you, "You of all people know what's about to happen, but you still smile at me.."
"What's wrong with that? Can't I smile at the woman I fell head over heels for until I stop breathing?" You egg on and that little nudge is all she needs to be pushed over the edge and for her to explode and for tears of pure frustration to fill her eyes.
"Stop joking around!" Her voice comes out raised and aggressive, like an angry dog ready to attack someone. She must've realized that, because she grits her teeth and sucks in a breath. Taking a few seconds to collect herself a little before continuing. Her voice was still brimming with anger, but sounding more controlled.
"You're going to die any minute now. Don't you understand that? You're going to pass away and leave everything behind..you're going to leave me alone here.. You know all of that, yet you still smile at me without a hint of regret or sadness, and I'm sorry, but I can't stand looking at you like that!"
"Why would I have regrets?" You ask, "I achieved all my goals and did everything I wanted to do in this lifetime. Kibutsuji is dead. There are no more demons terrorizing the innocent. And, I was able to live the rest of my years surrounded by the ones I love and cherish. I even got the bonus of becoming a Kocho and marrying the woman of my dreams," You say, rubbing at your finger as the ring on it flashes in the moonlight that shines down through the singular window in the room, "What's there to regret?"
"What about the fact that everything is coming to an end? You won't be here to make memories with me or any of your friends or family?" As the tears fall down her cheeks, Shinobu finds herself balling her hands into fists. She despised crying, especially when in the presence of others, but she couldn't control herself. Like an immature little kid, she couldn't control her emotions and her blood boiled all the more because of it.
"I'll always be here, even if it's not physically," You told her softly and she starts matching your tone, although the agitation in hers is still so apparent.
"Be serious for one second, Y/n," She snapped, only for you to follow up with, "I've been serious this entire time, love."
Then her tone raises again, "No, you haven't!" And then it falls again as she lets out an embarrassing choke, "T- There's..no way you have. How could you possibly be fine with this?"
"Because I know that as long as the people I love are still here to remember me and value that time I spent with them, I'll never truly die.. At least..not in their eyes," You tell her, ignoring the fact that Shinobu is starting to become harder and harder to see by the second.
Shinobu sobs and chokes die down after a while. By that time, your eyelids started feeling like paper weights; unbearably heavy. You tried to play it off by blinking slowly, but your wife caught on quickly. She could tell you were hitting your limit and you thought that'd it make her anger spike again or cause her another breakdown, but neither happened. Instead she surprised you by curling her lips upwards. Her eyes were red from crying and you couldn't see it well, but the corner of her brows twitched. Her cheeks was also stained pink, likely from embarrassment of having broke down in front of someone, even if that someone was her own wife.
To put it frankly, she was a mess with a smile painted over it. But it was genuine and from the heart and that was enough to satisfy you.

The afternoon glow of the sky shone down on you as you stuck your hand, which had a handful of rice in it, out to a dog. Sanemi watched, looking like a little kid experiencing their first crush, as the dog barely hesitated to come closer and begin liking at your hand.
The scene was like a painting come to life. You were all dressed up in an expensive kimono he bought you. Your hair was styled in a way to match your attire and to frame your face, which was powdered in elegant, nice-looking makeup. And, you had a smile on your face as you gave the dog a similar look a mother would give her child while rocking them to sleep in her arms.
That thought reminded him of how he could never bring himself to make you a mother. How he feared that he wouldn't be able to bear the sight of your child, who'd undoubtedly resemble you in some kind of way, after your passing. Or, how he feared he'd accidentally end up just like his monstrous, asshole of a father and you'd stare at him with the same fright in your eyes as his mother did to his father.
He's not cut out to be a dad. Never was. And it's a shame because Sanemi knows you'd make an excellent mother. Thinking about it puts a bad taste in his mouth and in an attempt to rid himself of those thoughts, he huffs out a sigh and runs his fingers through his hair. He can't risk thinking of something so disheartening and make himself sad. You proposed taking a walk around to clear his head of such thoughts after all and he doesn't want your efforts to go to waste.
"Sanemi," He blinks. How long were you calling his name? He stares at you once again and this time, you're turned and staring over your shoulder at him, who's sat on the steps, your hand now running through the dog's fur. Your smile is still there, but your eyes are dimmed with concern. The sight makes him feel guilty as it dawns on him that he probably worried you.
"Are you alright?" You asked and he responds to you quickly, "I'm fine. Don't worry about me."
Maybe it was because of how fast he answered you, but you didn't seem convinced. You kept staring at him with a woeful, skeptical look and it broke him, so he rephrases his previous statement, "I was just..thinking about stuff."
"What kind of stuff?" You asked, your hand leaving the dog's at last and getting up from your crouched position in front of the dog, "Want to talk about it?"
"No," He replied, but you walked up to him and sat beside him on the steps anyways and he sighs and says, "I promise it's nothing. Today is your day, so let's do something that focuses on you."
He sees your smile widen, and he finds himself unable to keep eye contact with a work of art such as yourself. He looks away from you, the tips of his ears beginning to burn. He then hears that addicting laugh of yours and he feels his heart thrumming in his chest. Gosh, you were going to be the death of him..
"You're such a sweetheart," No he isn't, was what he wanted to say but decided against it to spare both of you an unnecessary argument. It's a known fact that he's the farthest thing from sweet. That said, when he's in your presence, he can't help but be overly gentle with you. He can't help but touch and caress you as if you were made of priceless gemstones. He can't help but pamper you like you're some kind of princess. That's probably why your perception of him is so skewed compared to others.
You are the only person alive who has that perception of him. You are the only person alive who can set his skin ablaze with something as simple as a poke of your finger. You are the only person alive who'd devote your limited time on making him feel the way you have. You are the only person alive who still saw him a kind light while whispering endearments and kissing him and feeling him years ago when many people around him saw him as a monster.
..And someone so kind, so caring, so compassionate..will no longer be in this world soon. You, who always looked at him like he was the most precious thing in the world will soon perish because you disregarded your own wellbeing during the war and gave your all to bring an end to that abomination named Muzan Kibutsuji.
"Y/n.." He calls, still not looking at you. You hum, waiting on him to continue. Certainly not expecting him to ask, "Would you be willing to waste another lifetime loving me?"
A silence grew between you two and Sanemi would be lying if he said that it didn't hurt not hearing a response from you. He expected it though.
"I don't have much to offer you in this life and I wouldn't be surprised if the same goes for the next. I also can't promise I'll act any better. ..Tch, there's a better chance that I'll be more of a prick in my next life—"
"I would," He grows silent, finally turning his head towards you so that he could look you in the eyes. So that he could scan your facial expression. So that he could find proof that you were lying in your statement just now. But, he doesn't find anything of the sorts and it makes him feel sick—repulsed—at how giddy he feels at the realization that you're dead serious.
"Although, I don't think it'd be a waste of a life," You continued as an afterthought, taking mind to the way he wraps his fingers around the hand that you are leaning on and being as delicate as always as he peels it away from the ground so that he could hold it in his hand.
"If you act even a little like you do now in your next life, I wouldn't mind spend all of eternity with you," He brings your hand up to his face, planting a kiss to the back of your hand before he presses the back of your hand to his forehead and tells you..
"..Thank you for being kind enough..to choose me again."

"You look radiating," He told you. It didn't make your frown turn upside down or even budge as you stared at yourself, sat in a wheelchair; a thick, flowery blanket draped over your legs to keep them warm—not that you could really feel the warmth. Sometime after your 23rd birthday, you stopped feeling the lower half of your body.
"I used to look radiating," You muttered dryly, your only functional eye moving to scrutinize every little scar and wrinkle that ruined your skin. Looking at them made your frown deepened as well as huff out a loud, long, breathy sigh; one that sounded just as tired as you looked in the mirror..
"I don't know why you still wanted me after the war. Look at me.."
"Okay!" Kyojuro said from behind you and just like he's told, his golden, fiery eyes give you a good, long look through the mirror. As the seconds turn into minutes, you find your face heating up. You were ashamed of yourself. Your once smooth skin was littered in painfully permanent cracks, bruises, and blemishes that were caused by mistakes against powerful demons. Your face had more wrinkles than a grandmother despite the fact that you were only in your mid-twenties. Your lips had scars so deep and dark that even the brightest-colored lipstick couldn't hide them.
To put it in simple terms, the sight of yourself made you want to barf.
"I've did what you wanted," He finally says, "Do you know what I see?"
"An ugly, disgusting hag?" You finish for him and you hear a gentle, warm laugh from behind you. It makes a wave of embarrassment ride through the ocean of your stomach. You were being laughed at by your husband. It was humiliating, but you didn't blame him. I mean, you were hideous in your eyes. You probably looked a thousand times worse to other people..
"I see a woman with beautiful eyes that shine like the sun whenever she's happy or proud or upset. A woman who's personality makes me laugh and feel loved and proud. A woman with lips softer than the clouds in the sky even though the words that come out of them usually aren't nearly as fluffy. A woman who's body I always fantasize holding and protecting no matter the attire that covers it. The woman who'd kick me on my butt during a spar and then fret for hours over me getting a tiny cut from chopping vegetables.."
"Y/n, I know that we don't see the same thing, but if I could give you my sight, I know that even you would grow flush from how absolutely breathtaking you are in my eyes."
"Stop," You snap, your head hung low, "Stop," You repeat, but your voice sounds more fragile; like glass cracking bit by bit.
"Stop what?" He crouches down and then slides over so that he's on his knees by your side. His smile is as bright as it was when you first met him all those years ago, "Stop praising my wife?"
"Yes because your wife looks like a freak of nature! A- A demon! A—!"
"—A woman who worked hard and gave her all and pushed past her limits so that me, my family, my friends, and the rest of the world could live in peace," He finishes and then continues, "A woman who sacrificed so much to make sure that no one has to suffer by the hands of a demon ever again.." As he spoke, admiration drips into his voice like sweet honey, "A woman I am honored to call my wife; you."
"Shut up!" You said as you shattered completely, tears filling your eyes without your permission, "Shut up.. Shut up.." You wept.
"I.. I'm not.." And in that moment, something else broke inside of you and you couldn't utter another word. Tears, snot—everything rolled violently down your face and in a pathetic attempt to hide that sight from the world, both of your hands come up to cover your face. And without missing a beat, Kyojuro, smiling from ear to ear, wraps his big, warm arms around you and encases your frail, upper half..
"I love you, Y/n. It truly was, and is, an honor to be your husband."

"What am I going to do, Y/n?" He found himself asking as he gazed up at you from where he laid in your lap. He had been, understandably, anxious and upset all day and to prevent him from wallowing in that sadness until your inevitable demise, you asked him to lay his head down in your lap and allow you to stroke his hair.
"You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. My life was a pathetic mess before I met you.." He shamelessly admits, "I'm nothing without you.."
"I'm positive that you'll be okay," You reassure, or at least, you try to. The look he gives you after you say that makes it clear that your words didn't make him feel better at all.
"Zenitsu, you may find it hard to believe, but you're a strong person. Why else do you think I'm so calm right now?" You ask, and he doesn't say anything as he's unable to find the right words to refute you. It's a step in the right direction, you think.
"I think my husband is more than able to fill my place when I'm gone. I know whatever decision he'll make without me will be from the best intentions. He'll be able to keep our family afloat, protected, and feeling loved and that's all I wish for," You continued, hoping to really drive your words into his head and ease his spirit. Alas, you should've known that Zenitsu will always find a way to be pessimistic whenever it came to himself.
"You overestimate me. I could never replace you," He mumbles, "Compared to you, I'm- Ow!" He sucks in a sharp wince through his teeth and his hand comes up to cover the top of his head which was now in pain. You had landed a firm flick to the center top of his head and to say that it hurt like a bitch would be an understatement.
"You underestimate yourself," You retort. Your hands peeling his away so that you could gently comb your fingers through that area of his scalp as if to nonverbally apologize. He accepts the apology quickly and his hands go back to fiddling with each other atop his stomach.
"I just..don't get what you see in me.." He finally confesses, "I'm overjoyed that you were willing to marry me and even have my kids. It's just..I don't see why you'd do that.." And you sigh at him and he sees you shake your head.
"Hopefully you will eventually.." You say as you lean down. Zenitsu eyes fall close involuntarily and after a moment, he feels you brush aside his hair and press your lips to his forehead. Even when you part from him, he could still feel tingles..
As you straighten your position and gaze down at your husband once again, you can't help but chuckle at the sight of him looking up at you with his face sparkling in a strawberry blush and his pupils glowing with his love for you. There's also the silly look of his bangs being pushed away to reveal the big red kiss-shaped stain in the center that really pulls the sight together.
He looked like an idiot in love, which I guess isn't too far from the truth.
"My wish is that one day, you'll be able to look in the mirror and see what I've seen for almost an entire decade; a tough, talented, stunning man with a personality like no one I've ever seen and a heart of gold to boot."

"How are you feeling?" Kanae asked, sitting at your bedside. The question earns a grin from you.
"However one is supposed to feel when they're about to die," You replied and you notice your girlfriend's expression change to one of realization to a more abashed look.
"I'm sorry, that was a pointless question.." She mumbled and your shoulders shook a little from you trying to control your laughter.
"No, no. It's okay, love. You were just trying to make sure I was comfortable," You said before patting the bed, "Now, c'mon. I wanna lay with you one last time."
Her smile drops completely at that. One last time..right. This will be the last time you two will be able to do this..or do anything together. Her teeth grits behind her lips at the thought. She won't be able to spend anymore time with you. No more dates or little walks or tending to the garden together. When you're gone, that'll be the end of all of that..
It's hard to accept, but not accepting it would be immature and that's the last thing she is. And so, although reluctant, she gets up, crawls into bed, and lays by your side. You waste no time in pulling her closer until her chest hits yours and you're able to lean your head into her shoulder.
There's a silence for a while as you simply take the time to breathe in her scent. She always smelled so nice, like the flowers she grows in the garden. It's light, not too potent, but addictively sweet.
"Man, this sucks," You murmur, "Dying just before the big battle.. How unlucky is that?" She seriously couldn't believe you and she couldn't help but show it on her face for a moment. You were about to die and what you're upset about..is not being able to fight against Kibutsuji? It leaves a bad taste in her mouth knowing that in the end, you're thinking of someone like him instead of..
No. Perish the thought, Kanae. Thoughts like that are selfish and infantile. As a demon slayer, you of all people should understand that feeling of discontentment.
"Forgive me for saying this, but I'm actually glad that you'll have to opt out of this fight," She says and you hum as your interest is peaked, "And why is that? Because you don't want me to get hurt?" You ask and she nods against you.
"Of course," She says and you huff at how dumb your question was. You then mumble out, "Right.."
Silence envelopes the room once again like an awkward hug. Neither of you knew what to say. There were things you could say, but since you were both trying to avoid sobbing into each others' arms for the rest of the night, neither of you said them aloud. On the other hand, trying to force this half-assed casual conversation doesn't feel the best..
And so, you let out a shaky breath in an attempt to quell your nerves as you whisper to her, "I'm scared, Kanae.. I don't want to die.."
And her grip around you tightens as she whispers back, "I'm scared too. But, it's okay if we're both scared because that means we can comfort each other for the rest of the night,"
You can feel her hands trembling on your thigh and you crane your neck so that you can get a full glance at her smile which poorly covered her nervous expression in the darkness. Seeing it kind of felt like a breath of fresh air..
"I'd like that.." You said in the end, "I'd like that a lot.."

Sex Can't Solve Everything

IdolEnhypen x Blackreader
Request are open! I reply quickly. Masterlist here

Warnings~ Sexual comfort, fluff, conscious toxic relationships, alludes to ab*se, fights, angst, mentions of death of a close friend, mentions of depression, I didn't really describe the reader, so she's normal and able bodied. I just didn't give her features.
Word Count~ 3k
Heeseung
You and Heeseung had a long day. You came back from the funeral of a close friend.
They were someone you've been friends with since childhood. She died tragically in a traffic accident, and you've been hurt.
Hee noticed the way your eyes darkened.
The way you've gotten quieter.
You aren't the same because she's gone. How could she leave you in the cruel world like that?
Heeseung moved out of the kitchen to pass you a chopsticks. You weren't going to eat the ramen he made you anyway. You were too in your head.
Heeseung softly kissed your head and asked, "You doing okay?"
You blinked, eyes dry from the tears you've cried today.
You still smelled like Chloe's mom.
You just laughed, "Yeah, I'll be okay."
Heeseung gave you a comforting smile. "I'm here if you want to talk."
You shook your head, "I'm okay."
He looked over your face. Mascara was running down your face. Your eyes were beat red. You didn't even do your edges today. That was an essential part of your day.
Hee just cupped your face and kissed your forehead. You pulled his face down to press into your lips.
"Hmm."
You were shoving your tongue into his mouth. You jumped, and he caught you. Your legs wrapped around his waist as he walked to the couch.
He sat down as he tried to catch your rapid kisses.
They were hungry and passionate.
You bit his lip, and he pulled away, "Slow down."
You said, "m, m."
Your grip on him strengthened as you started to grind against his boner.
The memories of Chloe and you rushed to your head, and the only thing you could do was sob.
Heeseung pulled away when he felt you crying. His eyebrows furrowed with worry.
He cupped your face, "What's wrong?" You sobbed, "I miss her."
Heeseung pulled you into a hug. "I know you do, and as much as I love having sex with you, that's not how we solve things. Sex is a way to show you how much I love you, not this."
You cried, "I don't know what else to do." He sighed as he listened to your cries, "I miss Chloe!"
Heeseung rocked you until you fell asleep.
It was a rollercoaster of emotions for him. He knew it would be a difficult chapter for the two of you, and he was willing to work through it.
He put you to bed and ate your bowl of ramen.
He sat there and thought about how to help you.
Jay
Winter was here. The time of year when you often disappeared. You'd stop texting back, coming over, and spending time.
Jay knew it was seasonal depression. You were unhappy during wintertime, and he knew it wasn't your fault.
After about nine hours of practice, he came to your apartment.
You were there, cuddled on your couch, reading. A blanket was on your lap. The blanket had Jay's face plastered on it. You bought it as a joke.
You were so funny to him. The things you'd do as a joke always made him laugh.
You saw him and smiled. "Oh hey. You came over."
Jay said carefully, "I haven't seen you in over a week, and you stopped responding to my messages."
You pouted while looking at your phone, "I'm sorry."
He shook his head, "It's okay. I understand. I just came to check in. I could head out if you want."
You stood up quickly, "No, no. Stay."
You walked closer to Jay. His breath was warm on your face. You cupped his cheek and kissed him softly.
Jay relaxed as he tilted his head. He kissed you just as passionately as you.
His hands traveled to your waist, and he pulled you closer. You walked him to the bedroom and kicked the door behind you closed.
After pushing Jay on the bed, you looked at his face.
He looked so confused.
You furrowed your eyebrows and leaned back for another kiss, but Jay jerked away.
"Why are you crying?"
You touched your face as you realized. "I am?"
Jay let you climb into his lap as you said, "I don't know. Now I feel really sad."
You felt yourself start to cry as Jay hugged you. "It's okay, babe."
You hiccuped, "I wanted *hic* to stop thinking *hic* about my problems."
Jay laughed at your hiccups as he said, "That's understandable. But there's another way to do that."
Jay rubbed calm circles on your back. That only made you cry more. Jay has been so understanding.
Your crash-out boyfriend was the sweetest. You loved Jay, but you only ever felt nothing or sadness.
"Jay, I want to feel something. Please."
You rocked on his hips. Jay can't resist you. Still, he deflected, "No. We can watch a movie together."
You asked, "Why? Why can't you?"
Jay sighed. He pulled you down with him as he plopped on the bed.
"It'll come to a point where sex isn't about love anymore."
You couldn't respond. Jay was right.
You listened to him. You cuddled close to him and turned on the TV.
Jay was a sweet guy. He ignored your messy room, dirty kitchen, texts, and angry blow-ups because he loved you.
Jake
Someone from your past was coming out of jail. You're the one who put your ex-boyfriend there, and it was stressing you out.
DJ (Your ex-boyfriend) hurt you.
He hurt you in and out of the relationship. He manipulated you, cheated, and left you alone on the street.
Jake found you. Jake helped you get better.
Jake was with you when you found out the news. You were sitting on the bed, watching Bluey.
Two grown adults were watching Bluey because the show was good as fuck.
You sighed as your phone rang. Jake was biting his lip as he looked at you. You answered it, "Detective Seo? Nice to hear from you."
Seo sighed. "Yes, I wish under better circumstances. Sadly, I have bad news."
You furrowed your eyebrows. Jake carefully watched your face, "What's wrong?"
Seo said, "DJ... he's out."
You jolted, "What? Where?"
You were frantically running around your apartment as you started to pack, "We have him on an ankle monitor. He's in the States. He's not allowed to leave the country. Don't worry. Witness protection found you a safe place in Korea."
Jake ran after you as he watched you throw things in the luggage.
You knew everything you needed to run.
"I'm getting a ticket to a different country."
Jake and Detective Seo both said, "What?"
Detective Seo said, "Stay there. Please. Your best hidden there."
Detective Seo hung up, and you were stuck. All you could do was cry as the tears streamed down your face.
Jake is quick to hug you to make you feel better.
The problem is, there is no feeling better.
You kissed Jake. Then you started making out. It was slow and comforting. You didn't want that, though.
You wanted him to be rough tonight.
You were biting his lip and touching up his abs. Jake pulled back to quickly say, "Slow down."
You didn't listen.
You unbuckled his pants and were ready to give him head. When you looked at his dick, he was only half hard.
You looked up at Jake.
His eyes were filled with confusion and vulnerability.
Jake shuddered as he asked, "What are you doing?"
You moved away from his pants. Your head hung low as you tried to explain.
You wanted to what? Use Jake's body as a distraction? You're no better than the man who's free and dangerous. The man you spent years hiding from.
You changed your house, name, and lifestyle. You deleted all social media and tried to move on.
Now, you're forcing yourself on Jake to distract from your problems.
You felt tears welling up again, "I-i'm so sorry."
Jake shook his head and cupped your cheeks, "It's okay."
You cried, "No, it's not."
You pulled away from his embrace. You felt like you didn't deserve it.
You know how susceptible Jake is to sex. He wouldn't have stopped you.
"I'm a horrible person."
Jake watched as you walked out of the bedroom.
It wasn't until hours later that he'd sit next to you quietly. He rubs your back and asks, "Is this about your ex?"
You nodded, "He's out of prison."
Jake's breath was heavy as he tried to wrap his head around how you might be feeling.
"Baby. You can use me however you need to make yourself feel better."
You shook your head, "Sex should be for love."
Jake smiled, "I love you so much, I'm letting you use me."
You looked at him with a smile that didn't reach your eyes, "I can't do that."
Jake sighed. His body leaned back on the couch as he said, "How about you ask me to make you feel good?"
He kissed your temple as your eyes widened, "Yeah?"
He nodded.
Sunghoon
You had a bad day.
That's all it was.
You came home, threw off your black heels, and ran to the bedroom.
Sunghoon was taking a nap. You quietly walked to his side of the bed and kissed him.
He jerked awake, "Eh? Oh, hey, babe."
You smiled, "You tired?"
Sunghoon turned his back and said, "I don't remember."
His voice sounded a little hoarse, so he must've been sleeping for a while. You saw the tea and cough drops on the bedside table and asked, "Were you recording today?"
He nodded, "Yeah, I passed out when I got here though."
You climbed on his lap, and he straddled your hips. "Mm. Can we have sex?"
Sunghoon furrowed his eyebrows, "No." He scoffed a little and flipped you over, "What's wrong with you? You crazy?"
You whined, "Hoonie! I had a horrible day, and I want you."
Sunghoon laughed, "Okay, we can talk about it. I see you're not wearing the same clothes as this morning. What happened?"
You sighed, "I spilled coffee on myself, fired Rachel, caught two of my workers having sex in the break room, had to fire them too, had 7 meetings about color design, and my mom yelled at me because I hadn't come over last week."
Sunghoon's face dropped, "... sex in the break room?"
You nodded, "You see?! My life is a movie."
Sunghoon laughed and kissed you. "I guess. The answer is still no to sex, though. You can't solve your problems like this."
You slapped his chest, "But you make me feel so good."
Sunghoon bit his bottom lip as he traced your face. Your body started to heat up as you squealed, "Don't look at me like that! Oh my god!"
He smiled, "You're so cute, I guess we could have sex."
He reached down and gave you a tender kiss. Two seconds later, Sunghoon was slipping his tongue into your mouth.
Sunoo
Sunoo and you had been fighting. Arguing non-stop.
It was happening for days. It was over a girl.
He was texting some girl you've never heard of, and you, being petty, accused him of cheating. You know he wasn't, but he was hiding her from you.
It was weird.
So, you've been dragging him through hell because of it.
It was when you were really going at it in the dorms. The boys had all left because you were screaming at each other.
Sunoo was yelling how you were doing too much, but you knew you weren't. He loved the tension.
Sunoo was close to your face as he spat, "I'd never cheat on you with anyone because I fucking love you."
That's all you wanted to hear. You smashed your lips into each other as your tongue slipped into Sunoo's mouth.
He picked you up and threw you on the bed. You started lifting his shirt to feel his bare skin. Sunoo was frantically leaving kisses on your neck, sucking.
You moaned as you started unbuckling his belt.
Sunoo grabbed your hands and put them above your head. "Calm the fuck down, Y/N."
Anger bubbled in his throat as you gulped. Shit, he was so hot when he was like this.
Sunoo looked at your face, and it softened. "Why are we doing this?"
You shuddered, "I don't know, but I like you like this."
Sunoo asked, "What? Angry? That's toxic." You shook your head, "It's not toxic." Sunoo laughed, "Purposely starting arguments to actively make me angry? Kind of is."
You sighed, "Sunoo, just touch me."
Sunoo shook his head, "No, you're gonna sit here and think about how fucked up that is."
You pouted as you sat on the opposite side of the bed. You confessed, "I knew you weren't cheating on me."
Sunoo laughed, "I knew that. I know you like to fuck with me."
You sighed, "Maybe I am a little toxic. Why are you still with me?" Sunoo confessed, "I like the rush."
He kissed your cheek.
Jungwon
It's the same as Sunoo. It wouldn't be on purpose, though. Jungwon would be gone for days or weeks on end.
All you'd want was a text back, but he couldn't do that.
You showed up during practice. Jungwon furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at you like you were crazy.
"I know, but just come here."
Jungwon followed you outside to the hallway. You heard the boys continue to practice to give you two privacy.
"Can you come over tonight? We have to talk."
Jungwon said, "Okay, but why didn't you text me that? Why show up to my practice?"
You laughed, "You don't respond to my messages." You scoffed, "Jungwon, just come over. Don't blow this off."
You started to walk off, and he grabbed your arm, "Hey."
You turned to him, "What?"
Jungwon looked you up and down, "What's with the outfit?"
You reminded him, "My little brother graduated today. I invited you to come with me. You're here." Jungwon sighed, "I'm sorry."
You shook your head, "It's whatever."
Jungwon noticed the lack of a nickname. You didn't call him baby, honey, love, or sweetie. When you left, you didn't tell him you loved him.
When he did visit your house, you didn't talk. You fucked. It was passionate, something you two have never done.
He didn't like the change. He enjoyed the soft whimpers you let out. He didn't like the screams, the rough nature of him, the nails digging into him, the speed of it all.
You were lying on his chest, tracing his abs, when you began to talk.
"You haven't been here for me these past two months. I feel like I'm single."
Jungwon tensed, "Why did we have sex instead of talking about it?"
You laughed, but the laughs turned into cries. "What else am I supposed to do. You've been blowing me off. Today, you forgot to meet me at the school. My brother was waiting for you to show up. You see? You're not just blowing me off, but my little brother. He was upset."
Jungwon rubbed your back, "I'm sorry."
You cried, "You should be. I had to explain to my brother that you won't be around often."
You lifted your head, "I wanted to break up with you today. But we had sex. Now, I can't let this go."
Jungwon's eyes were filled with hurt. "Don't."
He kissed you slowly, and you were back in the missionary position. You two were trying to fuck away your problems. Jungwon didn't stop saying how he'd do better and how much he loves you.
You believed him.
Ni-ki
Ni-ki and you were still teens. You two were trying to navigate how to communicate and be vulnerable.
Though difficult, you two always tried. You both would call out each other's toxic traits. You had avoidance of confrontation. Ni-ki really hated it, but he'd always call you out.
He was never mad when you brought up things you didn't like about him. He was an understanding partner.
It was a day a long day. You got home, trash was filled, dishes were in the sink, and Ni-ki was in your living room playing his video games.
You were upset. You came home from a long day at work, and the house was still dirty.
You were seething but didn't want to mention the issues. Instead, you let Ni-ki sit there in the mess.
Ni-ki noticed you didn't announce you were home. You went straight to your room and showered. He'd usually be invited to the shower. It was why he hadn't showered yet, so he could do it with you.
As you did your skincare, Ni-ki watched you in your silky robe.
Ni-ki asked, "Why are you upset?"
You corrected, "I'm not upset."
Ni-ki took a deep breath. "What's wrong?"
You closed the bathroom door, not wanting to hear his bullshit. How could you not know what's wrong?
Ni-ki opened the door and cornered you to the sink. He was so much bigger than you in every right.
He leaned over and asked again, "What's the matter?"
You wanted to avoid this, so what did you do? You grabbed him by the collar and kissed him. You had brushed your teeth, so you tasted like mint.
Ni-ki tilted his head and kissed you harder. His hands unwrapped the robe, and he felt your bare ass.
You whimpered in his mouth, and he pulled away.
"So, you're that mad, you're seducing me?"
His hand kept kneading your ass. His strength makes you sway back and forth. "Baby." He said, trying to get you back in reality.
You shook your head, "Can you do me a big favor?"
Ni-ki nodded, his hands going to your waist to let you know he was listening. "Go on."
You said, "Can you take the trash out and wash the dishes in the sink?"
He smiled, "Yeah, but keep this sexy robe on."
He was running off to follow your instructions.

Title: After Midnight
Pairing: Casey Novak x Female!Reader
Synopsis: You visit Casey at work with the intention of taking her home.
CW: Smut, Top!Casey, Bottom!Reader, fingering (R receiving), office sex.
You walked with a purpose through the DA's office. A late night here and there was one thing, but it had been at least a week since Casey had been home before 2 AM. She was going to work herself to death, and more importantly, you missed her. You missed your girlfriend and planned on making sure that you didn't go to bed alone tonight.
"Casey!" Your voice was big and authoritative, but you shrunk back a bit as soon as you saw her. The last time you had seen Casey was when she was running out of your bedroom for work. You had tried to sleep in since you were closing the bar, so you had just barely caught a glimpse of her.
"Uh oh, you look mad. D-did I forget something? I thought I told you that I was working late again tonight," Casey said. She placed some papers inside of the legal book on her desk before she shut it. You glanced down at your watch, the same one Casey had bought for you a couple months earlier when you were promoted at work. That had felt like the end of the world when your bosses told you that your promotion came with a schedule change. You thought that you'd never see Casey again, but she was getting home later than you these days.
"Casey, they let me off early tonight. A late night at the office was never this bad. If you were anyone else, I'd think you were cheating on me." Casey's face fell at the mention of cheating. She quickly stood up and walked past you to shut the door of her office. "Casey, I'm not accusing you, and I don't want to fight. I just, I made sure to leave early because I wanted to spend time with you. I'm sick of going to bed alone."
"I'm sorry. Time got away from me, and um, honestly? I forgot you were getting out early tonight. There's a bit more work I want to do, but you can come sit with me if you'd like," Casey offered. She placed her hand on the small of your back, helping to lead you over to her desk. You knew it would be a bit cramped, but you still sat on Casey's lap as she flipped open the law book again. "Don't look at the file, this is a pretty rough case. Look at me instead, I hear that I make a pretty good view."
You smiled at Casey's little joke. You did like looking at Casey, even if you preferred to watch her stretch in the mornings. There was something about watching her like that which made your stomach drop. You were used to seeing Casey dressed up when she went out for work, but you always found her most attractive when she'd go out for a day at the batting cages or her softball games.
"Is this okay?" Casey asked as she placed her hand on the inside of your thigh. Your breath hitched a little as her fingers curled, brushing dangerously close to your core. Casey's hand paused, silently daring you to let her continue. You knew Casey wouldn't move until you gave her the okay, she'd wait forever if you wanted her to. "Did you hear me?"
"Casey, it's not nice to tease. This isn't what I came here for, I want you to go home," you told her. Casey pouted at you, and all you could think about was kissing that pout off of her face. "This isn't going to get us home faster."
"I know it's not, but I can't help it. You're so pretty in my lap that I don't think I can focus unless I'm touching you. Please, I want to touch you," Casey begged. You spread your legs open a little more, pushing your hips against Casey's hand as you made yourself more comfortable. "Thank you."
You hummed as Casey buried her face into the side of your neck. She knew exactly how to wind you up. You could feel her breath tickling against your skin as it raised goosebumps. Casey kept steady pressure as she rubbed against your core. Her other hand slid up your shirt and underneath your bra.
"Casey," you warned as you felt her begin to tease you. Casey mumbled an apology as her hand drifted from your breast down to between your legs. Her work was long forgotten as her hand pushed past your waistband. "We won't get caught, will we?"
"Cleaning crew likes to be out of here by 11:30, it's past midnight now babe. You could be as loud as you want," Casey said. She wanted you to be loud. She always wanted to hear you absolutely scream her name. There was a time and place for that, but you didn't feel like this was it quite yet. You hadn't passed anyone on your way to Casey's office, but that didn't mean nobody was there.
"Only in your dreams Case," you laughed. Casey laughed sarcastically along with you, only stopping when you pushed against her fingers. You let out a small moan, just loud enough for Casey to hear. The noise spurred her on, and Casey slipped two fingers inside of you. "Fuck Casey."
"Be patient, we're getting there," Casey told you. She wanted to tease you more, but Casey could feel how wet and ready you were. Your cunt was practically trying to suck her fingers inside of itself. Casey turned her attention completely towards you, leaning over your shoulder to watch as your cunt hungrily took in her fingers. "Jesus Christ, you're so fucking hot."
"Casey," you whined. Your cheeks were burning from her praise. Even when she had your legs spread like this while you were on her lap riding her fingers, Casey knew how to fluster you. You could feel the curve of her smile as she pressed her mouth against your shoulder. There were no soothing kisses, not yet anyway. She was fucking you with the intention of ruining you, and Casey was not someone who lacked the determination to do so.
"I'm gonna take you everywhere in this office," Casey whispered into your ear. You were too far gone to respond with anything more than a gasp. Casey held your body against hers as her fingers slipped out of you to rub your clit. She was being a bit rough, but you were soaked enough that you craved the pressure. That was how you came, soaking Casey's lap below you with her fingers frantically rubbing circles over your clit.
You pushed back against Casey, and she let you have your space. The work on her desk was a bit scattered, but it was easy enough to hide until the morning. Casey helped you straighten up your clothes and offered you her coat as the two of you made your way out of the DA's office. You had caught a cab there, but Casey drove, so you happily sat in the passenger's seat with your hand on the inside of her thigh, teasing her just enough to earn yourself a second round back at your apartment.

Baby Number 3(KatrinaGorryXReader)

Summary: you and Mini are on a little getaway Trip with some of the Matilda Girls and Harper accidentally spills a Secret.
You sat on the Bus with Charli, Ellie, Kyra, Steph, Caitlin, Teagan, Emily, Lani & Macca. Koby and Harper were also with you. Your son was currently asleep on your chest while Harper was playing something on Kyras Phone with her. Kyra was basically your Bonus Kid. So was Charli. The entire Team called you 'Kyras & Charlis Matilda moms' which was valid. They often Had sleepovers at your place. Cause both of them loved spending time with Mini and with you. And mostly with Harper and Koby. You were on a way to a Weekend getaway to a little cabin right now. Your wife noticed how tired you.weete and gently squeezed your hand.
"Babe want me to take Koby so you can get some rest. You look tired." She told you.
"wow thanks Love, you know exactly what i want to hear." You said playfully but your voice was laced with exhaustion.
"you know what i mean, beautiful." She stated and playfully rolled her eyes. You smiled tiredly.
"i do know. And thanks, yes please." You answered and carefully handed over your almost one year old son to your wife.
Around like five minutes after that you were asleep. Head against Minis shoulder. She smiled to herself. Holding Koby who was asleep as well. At the same time Lani, Kyra, Macca, Charli and Harper started doing Karaoke in the Front of the Bus. Singing Disney Songs. Especially Moana,Frozen & The Lion King.
Caitlin was talking to your wife. She sat in the same row as you and Mini did. Next to her was Emily. Emily was also half asleep.
"My sister looks exhausted. What the hell did you do Last night?" Caitlin asked your wife with a soft chuckle.
"nothing. That's what happens when you have kids." Mini stated and laughed a bit. Trying Not to wake you up.
"okay valid! One day Katie and i are gonna get the full experience!" Caitlin answered. Smiling softly from ear to ear.
"you will and both of you gonna be amazing moms because the two of you are already amazing aunties!" Your wife replied. Smiling at your sister.
"thank you for saying that!" Caitlin stated.
"it's the truth!" Mini answered. Holding your son close gently rubbing his back while he made some happy noises.
Half an hour later the Karaoke buddies have moved on from Disney-Songs to Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes. Macca started singing Baby when Harper spoke up.
"you know Mommy has a Baby in her Belly?" She said. Macca stopped singing. The entire Bus was suddenly filled with silence even Mini and Caitlin stopped talking before Caitlin spoke up again.
"you are having a third Baby?!" Caitlin said and smiled softly.
"y/n is pregnant!" Macca yelled out which woke you up. Looking around confused.
"what happened?" You asked.
"we just found out we gonna be aunties again!" Emily stated.
" a new Baby sibling!" Kyra happily said.
"so exciting!" Charli replied. Smiling from ear to ear.
"thank you. But how did you found out?" You asked.
"Harps let it Slip when Macca was singing Baby as a Karaoke Song!" Steph explained.
"oh wow! That's not how we planned on telling you but i am glad you all know now and that you are Happy for us!" You admitted and smiled from ear to ear.
"sorry for telling everyone." Harper said softly. Smiling sheepishly.
"it's okay Love Bug!" You told her and hugged her softly, when she climbed into your lap.
You and the other girls talked some more before the Bus made it to the cabin and you all carried your bags and suitcases inside. This weekend was filled with lots of Love and Baby Name Talks.
