i know you said you don’t enjoy soriel as a ship BUT have you considered this counterargument (/lh):
https://www.tumblr.com/wizard0rb/710891310485307392?source=share
anon i said i don't care about soriel. there is a huge gap between dislike and apathy. it's a het ship between two characters i rarely have strong thoughts on; my general reaction to it is a "sure, i can see it" and going back to thinking about kris immediately
i do like this comic ofc. it's good. it could be platonic or romantic. i am not particularly excited or annoyed by either option,

Recall
A Voidworld Drabble

You see Skirza (Smirza? One of those is right, surely.) walk you through her house. As you do, you pass a room with a door that's clearly meant to be shut. The only light inside is coming from a boxy computer monitor, and the single source illuminates walls covered entirely in scraps of paper and flourescent pink-red string. The room feels familiar, somehow.
"■■■, I'm being serious. There's something out there. Something is wrong with the woods."
You stop when the room is in view. Skirza keeps going, seeming not to notice you lagging behind. You read the paper pinned up on the walls. Portal. Border. Repeated phrases. It all seems so familiar.
"Come with me, at least. Then you'll see what I'm talking about. Try to hold a conversation with the cashier for more than five minutes, I dare you."
Skirza finally notices that you're several feet behind her, and huffs impatiently. She sneers and growls something you can't hear. Her yellow eyes flash with annoyance. You can't shake the feeling of deja vu.
"You don't get what I'm saying, ■■■. How can you not see that something's wrong?"
You catch up with Skirza, out of fear of her wrath. The feeling of distant memories fades, but as you follow her, it doesn't ever really fade. You pay it no mind, though.
